Micah 5
1 Now thou, douyter of a theef, schalt be distried; thei puttiden on vs bisegyng, in a yerde thei schulen smyte the cheke of the iuge of Israel.
ওহে সৈন্যদলের নগর, এখন তোমার সৈন্যদল নিয়ে যাও, কারণ আমাদের বিরুদ্ধে অবরোধ হচ্ছে। ইস্রায়েলের শাসনকর্তার গালে লাঠি দিয়ে আঘাত করবে।
2 And thou, Bethleem Effrata, art litil in the thousyndis of Juda; he that is the lordli gouernour in Israel, schal go out of thee to me; and the goyng out of hym is fro bigynnyng, fro daies of euerlastyngnesse.
“কিন্তু তুমি, হে বেথলেহেম ইফ্রাথা, যদিও তুমি যিহূদার শাসকদের মধ্যে ছোটো, তোমার মধ্যে দিয়ে আমার জন্যে ইস্রায়েলের এক শাসক বেরিয়ে আসবে, যাঁর শুরু প্রাচীনকাল থেকে অনাদিকাল থেকে।”
3 For this thing he shal yyue hem til to the tyme in which the trauelinge of child schal bere child, and the relifs of hise britheren schulen be conuertid to the sones of Israel.
সুতরাং ইস্রায়েল পরিত্যক্ত হবে যতক্ষণ না প্রসবকারিণীর সন্তান হচ্ছে, এবং অবশিষ্ট ভাইয়েরা ফিরে আসে ইস্রায়েলীদের সঙ্গে যুক্ত হবার জন্য।
4 And he schal stonde, and schal fede in the strengthe of the Lord, in the heiythe of the name of his Lord God; and thei schulen be conuertid, for now he schal be magnefied til to the endis of al erthe.
তিনি দাঁড়িয়ে সদাপ্রভুর শক্তিতে তাঁর ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুর নামের মহিমাতে, রাখালের মতো তাঁর লোকদের চালাবেন। এবং তারা নিরাপদে বাস করবে, কারণ তখন তাঁর মহত্ত্ব পৃথিবীর শেষ সীমা পর্যন্ত পৌঁছাবে।
5 And this schal be pees, whanne Assirius schal come in to oure lond, and whanne he schal trede in oure housis; and we schulen reise on hym seuene scheepherdis, and eiyte primatis men, ether the firste in dignytee.

8 And relifs of Jacob schulen be in hethene men, in the myddil of many puplis, as a lioun in beestis of the woodis, and as a whelpe of a lioun rorynge in flockis of scheep; and whanne he passith, and defoulith, and takith, there is not that schal delyuere.

11 And Y schal leese the citees of thi lond, and Y schal distrie alle thi strengthis;
আমি তোমাদের দেশের নগরগুলি ধ্বংস করব আর তোমার সব দুর্গগুলি ভেঙে ফেলব।
12 and Y schal do awei witchecraftis fro thin hond, and dyuynaciouns schulen not be in thee.

13 And Y schal make for to perische thi `grauun ymagis, and Y schal breke togidere fro the myddil of thee thin ymagis, and thou schalt no more worschipe the werkis of thin hondis.
আমি তোমার মধ্যে থেকে তোমার ক্ষোদিত মূর্তিগুলি এবং তোমার পবিত্র পাথরগুলি ধ্বংস করব; যাতে তুমি আর কখনও নিজের হাতে নির্মিত বস্তুসকলের কাছে নত না হও।
14 And Y schal drawe out of the middis of thee thi woodis, and Y schal al to-breke thi citees.
যখন তোমার নগরগুলি ধ্বংস করব, আমি তোমার মধ্যে থেকে তোমার আশেরার খুঁটিগুলি উপড়ে ফেলব।
15 And Y schal make in woodnesse and indignacioun veniaunce in alle folkis, whiche herden not.
যে জাতিগণ আমার বাধ্য হয়নি আমি ভীষণ ক্রোধে তাদের উপর প্রতিশোধ নেব।”
