Matthew 28
1 But in the euentid of the sabat, that bigynneth to schyne in the firste dai of the woke, Marie Mawdelene cam, and another Marie, to se the sepulcre.
Después del Sábado, al amanecer del primer día de la semana, María Magdalena y la otra mujer llamada María, fueron a ver la tumba.
2 And lo! ther was maad a greet ertheschakyng; for the aungel of the Lord cam doun fro heuene, and neiyede, and turnede awei the stoon, and sat theron.
De repente, hubo un gran terremoto, pues un ángel del Señor bajó del cielo, rodó la piedra, y se sentó sobre ella.
3 And his lokyng was as leit, and hise clothis as snowe;
Su rostro resplandecía como un relámpago, y sus ropas eran blancas como la nieve.
4 and for drede of hym the keperis weren afeerd, and thei weren maad as deede men.
Los guardias temblaban de miedo, y cayeron como si estuvieran muertos.
5 But the aungel answeride, and seide to the wymmen, Nyle ye drede, for Y woot that ye seken Jhesu, that was crucified;
El ángel dijo a las mujeres: “¡No tengan miedo! Yo sé que ustedes buscan a Jesús, el que fue crucificado.
6 he is not here, for he is risun, as he seide; come ye, and se ye the place, where the Lord was leid.
Él no está aquí. Se ha levantado de entre los muertos, tal como dijo que lo haría. Vengan y vean donde estuvo puesto el Señor.
7 And go ye soone, and seie ye to his disciplis, that he is risun. And lo! he schal go bifore you in to Galilee; there ye schulen se hym.
Ahora vayan rápidamente y digan a sus discípulos que Jesús se ha levantado de entre los muertos y que va delante de ustedes hacia Galilea. ¡Les prometo que allí lo verán!”
8 Lo! Y haue biforseid to you. And thei wenten out soone fro the biriels, with drede and greet ioye, rennynge to telle to hise disciplis.
Con miedo y a la vez muy felices, las mujeres se fueron rápidamente de la tumba, e iban corriendo para decírselo a los discípulos.
9 And lo! Jhesus mette hem, and seide, Heile ye. And thei neiyeden, and heelden his feet, and worschipiden him.
De repente, Jesús llegó a su encuentro, y las saludó. Ellas se lanzaron hacia él, se aferraron a sus pies y lo adoraron.
10 Thanne Jhesus seide to hem, Nyle ye drede; go ye, `telle ye to my britheren, that thei go in to Galile; there thei schulen se me.
Entonces Jesús les dijo: “¡No tengan miedo! Vayan y díganle a mis hermanos que vayan a Galilea, y allí me verán”.
11 And whanne thei weren goon, lo! summe of the keperis camen in to the citee, and telden to the princis of prestis alle thingis that weren doon.
Cuando se fueron, algunos de los guardias fueron a la ciudad y le contaron a los jefes de los sacerdotes todo lo que había ocurrido.
12 And whanne thei weren gaderid togidere with the elder men, and hadden take her counseil, thei yauen to the kniytis miche monei, and seiden, Seie ye,
Después que los jefes de los sacerdotes se hubieron reunido con los ancianos y hubieron elaborado un plan, sobornaron a los soldados con una gran cantidad de dinero.
13 that hise disciplis camen bi nyyt, and han stolen hym, while ye slepten.
“Digan así: ‘Sus discípulos vinieron por la noche y robaron el cuerpo mientras dormíamos,’” dijeron a los soldados.
14 And if this be herd of the iustice, we schulen counseile hym, and make you sikir.
“Y si el gobernador llega a saber de esto, nosotros hablaremos con él y ustedes no tendrán que preocuparse”.
15 And whanne the monei was takun, thei diden, as thei weren tauyt. And this word is pupplischid among the Jewis, til in to this day.
Así que los soldados tomaron el dinero e hicieron lo que les habían dicho. Esta historia se ha difundido entre el pueblo judío hasta el día de hoy.
16 And the enleuen disciplis wenten in to Galilee, in to an hille, where Jhesus hadde ordeyned to hem.
Pero los once discípulos fueron a Galilea, a la montaña donde Jesús les había dicho que fueran.
17 And thei sayn hym, and worschipiden; but summe of hem doutiden.
Cuando lo vieron, lo adoraron, aunque algunos dudaban.
18 And Jhesus cam nyy, and spak to hem, and seide, Al power in heuene and in erthe is youun to me.
Jesús vino donde ellos estaban y les dijo: “Se me ha entregado todo el poder del cielo y de la tierra.
19 Therfor go ye, and teche alle folkis, baptisynge hem in the name of the Fadir, and of the Sone, and of the Hooli Goost;
Así que vayan y hagan discípulos entre la gente de todas las naciones, bautizándolos en el nombre del Padre, del Hijo y del Espíritu Santo.
20 techynge hem to kepe alle thingis, what euer thingis Y haue comaundid to you; and lo! Y am with you in alle daies, in to the ende of the world. (aiōn g165)
Enséñenles a seguir todos los mandamientos que yo les he dado a ustedes. Recuerden, yo estoy siempre con ustedes hasta el fin del mundo”. (aiōn g165)
