Matthew 23
1 Thanne Jhesus spac to the puple, and to hise disciplis,
ସେହି ସମୟରେ ଯୀଶୁ ଲୋକସମୂହ ଓ ଆପଣା ଶିଷ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ,
2 and seide, On the chayere of Moises, scribis and Farisees han sete.
“ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଓ ଫାରୂଶୀମାନେ ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥାକୁ ବ୍ୟାଖ୍ୟା କରିବାର ଅଧିକାର ପାଇଅଛନ୍ତି।
3 Therfor kepe ye, and do ye alle thingis, what euer thingis thei seien to you. But nyle ye do aftir her werkis; for thei seien, and don not.
ଅତଏବ ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯାହା କିଛି କହନ୍ତି, ତାହା ମାନ ଓ ପାଳନ କର, ମାତ୍ର ସେମାନଙ୍କ କର୍ମ ଅନୁସାରେ କର୍ମ କର ନାହିଁ, କାରଣ ସେମାନେ କହନ୍ତି, କିନ୍ତୁ କରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ।
4 And thei bynden greuouse chargis, and that moun not be borun, and putten on schuldris of men; but with her fyngur thei wolen not moue hem.
ସେମାନେ ଗୁରୁ ଭାର ବହନ କରି ମନୁଷ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ କାନ୍ଧରେ ଥୋଇଦିଅନ୍ତି, କିନ୍ତୁ ନିଜେ ଅଙ୍ଗୁଳି ଦେଇ ତାହା ଟେକିବାକୁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ।
5 Therfor thei don alle her werkis `that thei be seen of men; for thei drawen abrood her filateries, and magnifien hemmes.
ସେମାନେ ଲୋକ ଦେଖାଇବା ପାଇଁ ଆପଣା ଆପଣାର ସମସ୍ତ କ୍ରିୟାକର୍ମ କରନ୍ତି, କାରଣ ସେମାନେ ନିଜ ନିଜର କବଚ ପ୍ରଶସ୍ତ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ବସ୍ତ୍ରର ଝୁମ୍ପା ବଡ଼ କରନ୍ତି,
6 And thei louen the first sittyng placis in soperis, and the first chaieris in synagogis;
ଆଉ ଭୋଜନରେ ପ୍ରଧାନ ସ୍ଥାନ ଓ ସମାଜଗୃହରେ ପ୍ରଧାନ ଆସନ,
7 and salutaciouns in chepyng, and to be clepid of men maystir.
ପୁଣି, ହାଟବଜାରରେ ନମସ୍କାର ପାଇବାକୁ ଓ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଗୁରୁ ବୋଲି ସମ୍ବୋଧିତ ହେବାକୁ ଭଲ ପାଆନ୍ତି।
8 But nyle ye be clepid maister; for oon is youre maystir, and alle ye ben britheren.
କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଗୁରୁ ବୋଲି ସମ୍ବୋଧିତ ହୁଅ ନାହିଁ, କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଗୁରୁ ଜଣେ, ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସମସ୍ତେ ଭାଇ।
9 And nyle ye clepe to you a fadir on erthe, for oon is your fadir, that is in heuenes.
ଆଉ ପୃଥିବୀରେ କାହାକୁ ହିଁ ପିତା ବୋଲି ଡାକ ନାହିଁ, କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପିତା ଜଣେ, ସେ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗରେ ଅଛନ୍ତି।
10 Nether be ye clepid maistris, for oon is youre maister, Crist.
ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ନେତା ବୋଲି ସମ୍ବୋଧିତ ହୁଅ ନାହିଁ, କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ନେତା ଜଣେ, ସେ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ।
11 He that is grettest among you, schal be youre mynystre.
କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକ ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ, ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ସେବକ ହେବ।
12 For he that hieth himself, schal be mekid; and he that mekith hym silf, schal be enhaunsid.
ଆଉ ଯେ କେହି ଆପଣାକୁ ଉନ୍ନତ ବୋଲି ଦେଖାଏ, ତାହାକୁ ନତ କରାଯିବ, ପୁଣି, ଯେ କେହି ଆପଣାକୁ ନତ କରେ ତାହାକୁ ଉନ୍ନତ କରାଯିବ।”
13 But wo to you, scribis and Farisees, ipocritis, that closen the kyngdom of heuenes bifore men; and ye entren not, nether suffren men entrynge to entre.
“କିନ୍ତୁ ହାୟ, ଦଣ୍ଡର ପାତ୍ର କପଟୀ ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଓ ଫାରୂଶୀମାନେ, କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗରାଜ୍ୟ ବନ୍ଦ କରୁଥାଅ; ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତ ନିଜେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରୁ ନାହଁ, ପୁଣି, ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିବାକୁ ଇଚ୍ଛୁକ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ପ୍ରବେଶ କରାଇ ଦେଉ ନାହଁ।
14 Wo to you, scribis and Farisees, ipocritis, that eten the housis of widowis, and preien bi longe preier; for this thing ye schulen take more doom.
[ହାୟ, ଦଣ୍ଡର ପାତ୍ର କପଟୀ ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଓ ଫାରୂଶୀମାନେ, କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଛଳରେ ଦୀର୍ଘ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରିବା ସଙ୍ଗେ ସଙ୍ଗେ ବିଧବାମାନଙ୍କର ଗୃହସବୁ ଗ୍ରାସ କରୁଥାଅ; ଏଣୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଗୁରୁତର ଦଣ୍ଡ ପାଇବ।]
15 Wo to you, scribis and Farisees, ypocritis, that goon aboute the see and the loond, to make o prosilite; and whanne he is maad, ye maken hym a sone of helle, double more than ye ben. (Geenna g1067)
ହାୟ, ଦଣ୍ଡର ପାତ୍ର କପଟୀ ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଓ ଫାରୂଶୀମାନେ, କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଜଣକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଧର୍ମାବଲମ୍ବୀ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଜଳସ୍ଥଳ ଭ୍ରମଣ କରୁଥାଅ, ପୁଣି, ଯେତେବେଳେ ସେ ହୁଏ, ସେତେବେଳେ ତାହାକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଦୁଇ ଗୁଣ ନର୍କର ପାତ୍ର କରୁଥାଅ। (Geenna g1067)
16 Wo to you, blynde lederis, that seien, Who euer swerith bi the temple of God, it is `no thing; but he that swerith in the gold of the temple, is dettoure.
ହାୟ, ଦଣ୍ଡର ପାତ୍ର ଅନ୍ଧ ପଥପ୍ରଦର୍ଶକମାନେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କହୁଥାଅ, କେହି ମନ୍ଦିରର ଶପଥ କଲେ ତାହା କିଛି ନୁହେଁ, ମାତ୍ର ଯେ କେହି ମନ୍ଦିରସ୍ଥ ସ୍ୱର୍ଣ୍ଣର ଶପଥ କରେ, ସେ ତଦ୍ୱାରା ଆବଦ୍ଧ।
17 Ye foolis and blynde, for what is grettere, the gold, or the temple that halewith the gold?
ରେ ମୂଢ଼ ଓ ଅନ୍ଧମାନେ, ସ୍ୱର୍ଣ୍ଣ କିମ୍ବା ସେହି ସ୍ୱର୍ଣ୍ଣକୁ ପବିତ୍ର କରିଅଛି ଯେଉଁ ମନ୍ଦିର, ଏହି ଦୁଇ ମଧ୍ୟରେ କଅଣ ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ?
18 And who euer swerith in the auter, it is no thing; but he that swerith in the yifte that is on the auter, owith.
ଆହୁରି କହୁଥାଅ, କେହି ବେଦିର ଶପଥ କଲେ ତାହା କିଛି ନୁହେଁ, ମାତ୍ର ଯେ କେହି ତାହା ଉପରେ ଥିବା ନୈବେଦ୍ୟର ଶପଥ କରେ, ସେ ତଦ୍ୱାରା ଆବଦ୍ଧ।
19 Blynde men, for what is more, the yifte, or the auter that halewith the yifte?
ରେ ଅନ୍ଧମାନେ, ନୈବେଦ୍ୟ କିମ୍ବା ସେହି ନୈବେଦ୍ୟକୁ ପବିତ୍ର କରେ ଯେଉଁ ବେଦି, ଏହି ଦୁଇ ମଧ୍ୟରେ କେଉଁଟା ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ?
20 Therfor he that swerith in the auter, swerith in it, and in alle thingis that ben ther on.
ଅତଏବ ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକ ବେଦିର ଶପଥ କରେ, ସେ ତ ତାହା ଓ ତାହା ଉପରେ ଥିବା ପଦାର୍ଥର ଶପଥ କରେ;
21 And he that swerith in the temple, swerith in it, and in hym that dwellith in the temple.
ଆଉ ଯେ ମନ୍ଦିରର ଶପଥ କରେ, ସେ ମନ୍ଦିର ଓ ତନ୍ନିବାସୀଙ୍କର ଶପଥ କରେ;
22 And he that swerith in heuene, swerith in the trone of God, and in hym that sittith ther on.
ପୁଣି, ଯେ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗର ଶପଥ କରେ, ସେ ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ସିଂହାସନ ଓ ତଦୁପବିଷ୍ଟଙ୍କର ଶପଥ କରେ।
23 Wo to you, scribis and Farisees, ypocritis, that tithen mynte, anete, and cummyn, and han left tho thingis that ben of more charge of the lawe, doom, and merci, and feith. And it bihofte to do these thingis, and not to leeue tho.
ହାୟ, ଦଣ୍ଡର ପାତ୍ର କପଟୀ ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଓ ଫାରୂଶୀମାନେ, କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ପୋଦିନା, ପାନମହୁରୀ ଓ ଜୀରାର ଦଶମାଂଶ ଦେଉଥାଅ, ଆଉ ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥାର ଗୁରୁତର ବିଷୟଗୁଡ଼ିକ, ନ୍ୟାୟବିଚାର, ଦୟା ଓ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ, ଏହାସବୁ ପରିତ୍ୟାଗ କରିଅଛ; କିନ୍ତୁ ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ ପାଳନ କରିବା ଓ ଅନ୍ୟସବୁ ପରିତ୍ୟାଗ ନ କରିବା ଉଚିତ।
24 Blynde lederis, clensinge a gnatte, but swolewynge a camel.
ରେ ଅନ୍ଧ ପଥପ୍ରଦର୍ଶକମାନେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମଶାକୁ ଛାଣୁଥାଅ, କିନ୍ତୁ ଓଟକୁ ଗିଳୁଥାଅ।
25 Woo to you, scribis and Farisees, ypocritis, that clensen the cuppe and the plater with outforth; but with ynne ye ben ful of raueyne and vnclennesse.
ହାୟ, ଦଣ୍ଡର ପାତ୍ର କପଟୀ ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଓ ଫାରୂଶୀମାନେ, କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଗିନା ଓ ଥାଳିର ବାହାର ସଫା କରୁଥାଅ, ମାତ୍ର ଭିତରେ ସେଗୁଡ଼ାକ ଲୁଣ୍ଠନକର୍ମ ଓ ଇନ୍ଦ୍ରିୟସେବାରେ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ।
26 Thou blynde Farisee, clense the cuppe and the plater with ynneforth, that that that is with outforth be maad clene.
ହେ ଅନ୍ଧ ଫାରୂଶୀ, ଆଗେ ଗିନାର ଭିତର ସଫା କର, ଯେପରି ସେଥିର ବାହାର ମଧ୍ୟ ସଫା ହେବ।
27 Wo to you, scribis and Farisees, ipocritis, that ben lijk to sepulcris whitid, whiche with outforth semen faire to men; but with ynne thei ben fulle of boonus of deed men, and of al filthe.
ହାୟ, ଦଣ୍ଡର ପାତ୍ର କପଟୀ ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଓ ଫାରୂଶୀମାନେ, କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଧଳା ରଙ୍ଗର ସମାଧି ସରୂପ। ତାହା ବାହାରେ ସୁନ୍ଦର ଦେଖାଯାଏ, କିନ୍ତୁ ଭିତରେ ମୃତମାନଙ୍କ ଅସ୍ଥି ଓ ସର୍ବ ପ୍ରକାର ଅଶୁଚିତାରେ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ;
28 So ye with outforth semen iust to men; but with ynne ye ben ful of ypocrisy and wickidnesse.
ସେହି ପ୍ରକାରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ବାହାରେ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ଧାର୍ମିକ ଦେଖାଯାଅ, କିନ୍ତୁ ଭିତରେ କପଟ ଓ ଅଧର୍ମରେ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ।”
29 Wo to you, scribis and Farisees, ipocritis, that bilden sepulcris of profetis, and maken faire the birielis of iust men,
“ହାୟ, ଦଣ୍ଡର ପାତ୍ର କପଟୀ ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଓ ଫାରୂଶୀମାନେ, କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଭାବବାଦୀମାନଙ୍କର ସମାଧି ନିର୍ମାଣ କରି ଓ ଧାର୍ମିକମାନଙ୍କ ସମାଧିସ୍ତମ୍ଭ ସଜାଇ କହୁଥାଅ,
30 and seien, If we hadden be in the daies of oure fadris, we schulden not haue be her felowis in the blood of prophetis.
ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯେବେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପିତୃ-ପୁରୁଷଙ୍କ ସମୟରେ ଥାଆନ୍ତୁ, ତେବେ ଭାବବାଦୀମାନଙ୍କ ରକ୍ତପାତରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ସହଭାଗୀ ହୋଇ ନ ଥାଆନ୍ତୁ।
31 And so ye ben in witnessyng to you silf, that ye ben the sones of hem that slowen the prophetis.
ଏଣୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯେ ଭାବବାଦୀଙ୍କ ହତ୍ୟାକାରୀମାନଙ୍କର ସନ୍ତାନ ଅଟ, ସେ ବିଷୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ହିଁ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ବିଷୟରେ ସାକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ଦେଉଅଛ।
32 And fulfille ye the mesure of youre fadris.
ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ନିଜ ନିଜ ପିତୃ-ପୁରୁଷଙ୍କର ପରିମାଣ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କର।
ଆରେ ସର୍ପଗୁଡ଼ାକ, ଆରେ କାଳସର୍ପର ବଂଶ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କିପ୍ରକାରେ ନର୍କ ଦଣ୍ଡରୁ ରକ୍ଷା ପାଇବ? (Geenna g1067)
34 Therfor lo! Y sende to you profetis, and wise men, and scribis; and of hem ye schulen sle and crucifie, and of hem ye schulen scourge in youre sinagogis, and schulen pursue fro cite in to citee;
ଏଣୁ ଦେଖ, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଭାବବାଦୀ, ଜ୍ଞାନୀ ଓ ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରେରଣ କରୁଅଛି; ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ କାହା କାହାକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ହତ୍ୟା କରିବ ଓ କ୍ରୁଶରେ ବଧ କରିବ, ଆଉ କାହା କାହାକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସମାଜଗୃହରେ କୋରଡ଼ା ମାରିବ ଓ ନଗରକୁ ନଗର ତାଡ଼ନା କରିବ,
35 that al the iust blood come on you, that was sched on the erthe, fro the blood of iust Abel to the blood of Zacarie, the sone of Barachie, whom ye slowen bitwixe the temple and the auter.
ଯେପରି ଧାର୍ମିକ ହେବଲଙ୍କ ରକ୍ତପାତଠାରୁ, ଯେଉଁ ବେରିଖୀୟଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ଜିଖରୀୟଙ୍କୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମନ୍ଦିରର ପବିତ୍ର ସ୍ଥାନ ଓ ବେଦିର ମଧ୍ୟସ୍ଥଳରେ ବଧ କଲ, ତାହାଙ୍କ ରକ୍ତପାତ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ପୃଥିବୀରେ ଯେତେ ଧାର୍ମିକ ଲୋକଙ୍କର ରକ୍ତପାତ ହୋଇଅଛି, ସେହି ସମସ୍ତ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଘଟିବ।
36 Treuli Y seie to you, alle these thingis schulen come on this generacioun.
ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସତ୍ୟ କହୁଅଛି, ଏହି ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ପୁରୁଷ ଉପରେ ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ ଘଟିବ।”
37 Jerusalem, Jerusalem, that sleest prophetis, and stoonest hem that ben sent to thee, hou ofte wolde Y gadere togidere thi children, as an henne gaderith togidir her chikenes vndir hir wengis, and thou woldist not.
“ଗୋ ଯିରୂଶାଲମ, ଗୋ ଯିରୂଶାଲମ, ଭାବବାଦୀମାନଙ୍କ ହତ୍ୟାକାରିଣୀ ଓ ଆପଣା ନିକଟକୁ ପ୍ରେରିତମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରସ୍ତରାଘାତକାରିଣୀ, କୁକ୍କୁଟୀ ଯେପରି ପକ୍ଷ ତଳେ ଆପଣା ଶାବକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏକତ୍ର କରେ, ସେପରି ମୁଁ କେତେ ଥର ତୋହର ସନ୍ତାନମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏକତ୍ର କରିବାକୁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କଲି, କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଇଚ୍ଛୁକ ହେଲ ନାହିଁ।
38 Lo! youre hous schal be left to you desert.
ଦେଖ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଘର ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ହାତରେ ଛାଡ଼ି ଦିଆଯାଉଅଛି।
39 And Y seie to you, ye schulen not se me fro hennus forth, til ye seien, Blessid is he, that cometh in the name of the Lord.
କାରଣ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କହୁଅଛି, ‘ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନାମରେ ଯେ ଆସୁଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେ ଧନ୍ୟ,’ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଏହି କଥା ନ କହିବା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଆଜିଠାରୁ ମୋତେ ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ଆଉ ଦେଖିବ ନାହିଁ।”
