Matthew 23
1 Thanne Jhesus spac to the puple, and to hise disciplis,
त्यसपछि येशू भिडहरू र आफ्ना चेलाहरूसँग बोल्नुभयो ।
2 and seide, On the chayere of Moises, scribis and Farisees han sete.
उहाँले भन्नुभयो, “शास्त्रीहरू र फरिसीहरू मोशाको आसनमा बस्छन् ।”
3 Therfor kepe ye, and do ye alle thingis, what euer thingis thei seien to you. But nyle ye do aftir her werkis; for thei seien, and don not.
यसकारण, तिनीहरूले तिमीहरूलाई जे गर भनी आज्ञा गर्दछन्, ती कुरा गर र तिनीहरूलाई पालन गर । तर तिनीहरूका कामहरूको अनुसरण नगर, किनकि तिनीहरू कुराहरूचाहिँ गर्दछन्, तर पछि आफैँले ती गर्दैनन् ।
4 And thei bynden greuouse chargis, and that moun not be borun, and putten on schuldris of men; but with her fyngur thei wolen not moue hem.
हो, तिनीहरूले बोक्न कठिन हुने गह्रौँ भारीहरू बाँधिदिन्छन्, अनि तिनीहरूले ती मानिसहरूका काँधहरूमा राखिदिन्छन् । तर तिनीहरू आफैँले भने ती बोक्नलाई एउटा औँला पनि चलाउँदैनन् ।
5 Therfor thei don alle her werkis `that thei be seen of men; for thei drawen abrood her filateries, and magnifien hemmes.
तिनीहरूले सबै काम मानिसहरूले देखून् भनेर गर्छन् । किनकि तिनीहरूले आफ्ना निधारमा र नाडीमा राखिने व्यवस्था-पत्रीहरू ठुलो बनाउँछन्, र तिनीहरूले आफ्ना वस्त्रका झुम्काहरू लामो पार्दछन् ।
6 And thei louen the first sittyng placis in soperis, and the first chaieris in synagogis;
तिनीहरूले भोजमा मुख्य स्थानहरू र सभाघरहरूमा प्रमुख आसनहरू मन पराउँछन्,
7 and salutaciouns in chepyng, and to be clepid of men maystir.
अनि बजारहरूमा विशेष अभिवादन गरिएको र मानिसहरूद्वारा ‘रब्बी’ भनी सम्बोधन गरिएको चाहन्छन् ।
8 But nyle ye be clepid maister; for oon is youre maystir, and alle ye ben britheren.
तर तिमीहरूलाई ‘रब्बी’ भनी सम्बोधन गरिनुहुँदैन, किनकि तिमीहरूका एउटै मात्र गुरु हुनुहुन्छ, र तिमीहरू सबै दाजुभाइहरू हौ ।
9 And nyle ye clepe to you a fadir on erthe, for oon is your fadir, that is in heuenes.
अनि पृथ्वीमा कुनै पनि मानिसलाई पिता भनी नपुकार, किनकि तिमीहरूका एक मात्र पिता हुनुहुन्छ, र उहाँ स्वर्गमा हुनुहुन्छ ।
10 Nether be ye clepid maistris, for oon is youre maister, Crist.
न त ‘गुरुज्यू’ भनी कसैले तिमीहरूलाई बोलाऊन्, किनकि ख्रीष्ट तिमीहरूका एक मात्र गुरु हुनुहुन्छ ।
11 He that is grettest among you, schal be youre mynystre.
तर जो तिमीहरूका माझमा सबैभन्दा महान् छ, ऊ तिमीहरूका दास हुनेछ ।
12 For he that hieth himself, schal be mekid; and he that mekith hym silf, schal be enhaunsid.
जसले आफूलाई उच्च पार्दछ, त्यसलाई होच्याइनेछ । अनि जसले आफूलाई होच्याउँछ, त्यसलाई उच्च पारिनेछ ।
13 But wo to you, scribis and Farisees, ipocritis, that closen the kyngdom of heuenes bifore men; and ye entren not, nether suffren men entrynge to entre.
तर धिक्कार तिमी शास्त्रीहरू र फरिसीहरू, ए पाखण्डीहरू! तिमीहरू मानिसहरूका सामुन्ने स्वर्गको राज्यलाई बन्द गर्दछौ । किनकि तिमीहरू यसमा आफैँ प्रवेश गर्दनौ, अनि न त प्रवेश गर्न लागेकाहरूलाई त्यसो गर्न दिन्छौ ।
14 Wo to you, scribis and Farisees, ipocritis, that eten the housis of widowis, and preien bi longe preier; for this thing ye schulen take more doom.
धिक्कार तिमी शास्त्रीहरू र फरिसीहरू, ए पाखण्डीहरू! किनकि तिमीहरू विधवाहरूका घरहरू नष्ट गर्दछौ, जब कि लामो-लामो प्रार्थना गरी देखाउँदछौ । यसकारण, तिमीहरूले अझ बढी दण्ड पाउनेछौ ।
15 Wo to you, scribis and Farisees, ypocritis, that goon aboute the see and the loond, to make o prosilite; and whanne he is maad, ye maken hym a sone of helle, double more than ye ben. (Geenna g1067)
धिक्कार तिमी शास्त्रीहरू र फरिसीहरू, ए पाखण्डीहरू! किनकि एक जनालाई आफ्नो मतमा ल्याउनलाई तिमीहरू समुद्र र जमिन चहार्दछौ । जब त्यो तिमीहरूको मतमा आउँछ, त्यसलाई आफूभन्दा दोब्बर नरकको पुत्र बनाउँछौ । (Geenna g1067)
16 Wo to you, blynde lederis, that seien, Who euer swerith bi the temple of God, it is `no thing; but he that swerith in the gold of the temple, is dettoure.
धिक्कार तिमीहरूलाई, ए अन्धा अगुवाहरू हो, तिमीहरू जसले भन्दछौ, ‘कसैले मन्दिरको शपथ खान्छ भने, केही पनि हुँदैन । तर जसले मन्दिरको सुनको शपथ खान्छ, ऊ आफ्नो शपथद्वारा बाँधिन्छ ।’
17 Ye foolis and blynde, for what is grettere, the gold, or the temple that halewith the gold?
ए दृष्टिविहीन मूर्खहरू हो! कुनचाहिँ ठुलो हो– सुन कि त्यस सुनलाई परमेश्वरकहाँ अर्पण गर्ने मन्दिर?
18 And who euer swerith in the auter, it is no thing; but he that swerith in the yifte that is on the auter, owith.
अनि, ‘कसैले वेदीको शपथ खान्छ भने, केही पनि हुँदैन । तर कसैले त्यसमाथि राखिएको भेटीको शपथ खान्छ भने, ऊ आफ्नो शपथद्वारा बाँधिन्छ ।’
19 Blynde men, for what is more, the yifte, or the auter that halewith the yifte?
ए अन्धा मानिसहरू हो, कुनचाहिँ ठुलो हो– भेटी कि त्यस भेटीलाई परमेश्वरकहाँ अर्पण गर्ने वेदी?
20 Therfor he that swerith in the auter, swerith in it, and in alle thingis that ben ther on.
अनि जसले वेदीको शपथ खान्छ, उसले त्यस वेदी र त्यसमाथि भएका सबै थोकको शपथ खान्छ ।
21 And he that swerith in the temple, swerith in it, and in hym that dwellith in the temple.
अनि जसले मन्दिरको शपथ खान्छ, उसले त्यस मन्दिर र त्यसमा बास गर्नुहुनेको शपथ खान्छ ।
22 And he that swerith in heuene, swerith in the trone of God, and in hym that sittith ther on.
अनि जसले स्वर्गको शपथ खान्छ, उसले परमेश्वरको सिंहासन र त्यसमा बास गर्नुहुनेको शपथ खान्छ ।
23 Wo to you, scribis and Farisees, ypocritis, that tithen mynte, anete, and cummyn, and han left tho thingis that ben of more charge of the lawe, doom, and merci, and feith. And it bihofte to do these thingis, and not to leeue tho.
धिक्कार तिमी शास्त्रीहरू र फरिसीहरू, ए पाखण्डीहरू! किनकि तिमीहरू पुदिना, सुप र जिराका दशांश दिन्छौ, तर व्यवस्थाका गहन कुराहरू अर्थात् न्याय, कृपा र विश्वासलाई बेवास्ता गरेका छौ । तर यी कुराहरू तिमीहरूले गर्नुपर्ने थियो र यी अरू कामहरूलाई अवहेलना नगर्नुपर्ने थियो ।
24 Blynde lederis, clensinge a gnatte, but swolewynge a camel.
ए अन्धा अगुवाहरू हो, तिमीहरू जो भुसुनालाई चाल्दछौ, तर उँटलाई चाहिँ निल्दछौ!
25 Woo to you, scribis and Farisees, ypocritis, that clensen the cuppe and the plater with outforth; but with ynne ye ben ful of raueyne and vnclennesse.
धिक्कार तिमी शास्त्रीहरू र फरिसीहरू, ए पाखण्डीहरू! तिमीहरू कचौराहरू र थालहरूको बाहिरपट्टि धुन्छौ, तर भित्रपट्टि तिनीहरू अन्यायपूर्ण माग र लोभले भरिएका छन् ।
26 Thou blynde Farisee, clense the cuppe and the plater with ynneforth, that that that is with outforth be maad clene.
ए अन्धा फरिसी हो, पहिले कचौरा र थालको भित्रपट्टि सफा गर, ताकि त्यसको बाहिरपट्टि पनि सफा होस् ।
27 Wo to you, scribis and Farisees, ipocritis, that ben lijk to sepulcris whitid, whiche with outforth semen faire to men; but with ynne thei ben fulle of boonus of deed men, and of al filthe.
धिक्कार तिमी शास्त्रीहरू र फरिसीहरू, ए पाखण्डीहरू! किनकि तिमीहरू चुनले पोतेका चिहानहरूजस्ता छौ, जुन बाहिरपट्टि सुन्दर देखा पर्दछन्, तर भित्रपट्टि चाहिँ मरेका मानिसहरूका हाडहरू र सबै अशुद्धताले भरिएका छन् ।
28 So ye with outforth semen iust to men; but with ynne ye ben ful of ypocrisy and wickidnesse.
यसै गरी, तिमीहरू पनि बाहिर मानिसहरूका सामुन्ने धर्मी देखा पर्दछौ, तर भित्रपट्टि तिमीहरू कपट र दुष्टताले भरिएका छौ ।
29 Wo to you, scribis and Farisees, ipocritis, that bilden sepulcris of profetis, and maken faire the birielis of iust men,
धिक्कार तिमी शास्त्रीहरू र फरिसीहरू, ए पाखण्डीहरू! किनकि तिमीहरू अगमवक्ताहरूका चिहानहरू बनाउँदछौ र धर्मीहरूका चिहानहरूलाई सिङ्गार्दछौ ।
30 and seien, If we hadden be in the daies of oure fadris, we schulden not haue be her felowis in the blood of prophetis.
तिमीहरू भन्छौ, ‘यदि हामीहरू हाम्रा पुर्खाहरूको समयमा जिएका भए, अगमवक्ताहरूको रगत बगाउने काममा तिनीहरूसँग सहभागी हुने थिएनौँ ।’
31 And so ye ben in witnessyng to you silf, that ye ben the sones of hem that slowen the prophetis.
यसकारण, तिमीहरू आफैँले तिमीहरू तिनीहरूका सन्तान हौ भनी गवाही दिन्छौ जसले अगमवक्ताहरूको हत्या गरे ।
32 And fulfille ye the mesure of youre fadris.
तिमीहरूले आफ्ना पुर्खाहरूको कामलाई पनि पुरा गर्छौ ।
ए सर्पहरू हो, साँपका सन्तानहरू, तिमीहरू नरकको दण्डबाट कसरी उम्कनेछौ? (Geenna g1067)
34 Therfor lo! Y sende to you profetis, and wise men, and scribis; and of hem ye schulen sle and crucifie, and of hem ye schulen scourge in youre sinagogis, and schulen pursue fro cite in to citee;
त्यसकारण, हेर, म तिमीहरूकहाँ अगमवक्ताहरू, बुद्धिमान् मानिसहरू र शास्त्रीहरू पठाउँछु । तिनीहरूमध्ये कति जनालाई तिमीहरूले मार्नेछौ र क्रुसमा टाँग्नेछौ । अनि तिनीहरूमध्ये केहीलाई तिमीहरूले आफ्ना सभाघरहरूमा कोर्रा लगाउनेछौ र सहर हुँदो धपाउनेछौ ।
35 that al the iust blood come on you, that was sched on the erthe, fro the blood of iust Abel to the blood of Zacarie, the sone of Barachie, whom ye slowen bitwixe the temple and the auter.
यसको परिणाम यस्तो हुनेछ, कि पृथ्वीमा बगाइएका सबै धर्मी जनको रगत तिमीहरूमाथि आइपर्नेछ– धर्मी हाबिलको रगतदेखि लिएर बेरेक्याहका छोरा जकरियाको रगतसम्म, जसलाई तिमीहरूले पवित्र-स्थान र वेदीको माझमा हत्या गर्यौ ।
36 Treuli Y seie to you, alle these thingis schulen come on this generacioun.
साँच्चै म तिमीहरूलाई भन्दछु, यी सबै कुरा यसै पुस्तामाथि आइपर्नेछन् ।
37 Jerusalem, Jerusalem, that sleest prophetis, and stoonest hem that ben sent to thee, hou ofte wolde Y gadere togidere thi children, as an henne gaderith togidir her chikenes vndir hir wengis, and thou woldist not.
ए यरूशलेम, ए यरूशलेम, तँ जसले अगमवक्ताहरूलाई मार्छस् र तँकहाँ पठाइएकाहरूलाई ढुङ्गाले हान्छस्! कति पटक मैले तेरा बालकहरूलाई बटुल्ने इच्छा गरेँ, जसरी एउटा कुखुरीले आफ्ना चल्लाहरूलाई त्यसको पखेटामुनि बटुल्छ, तर तैँले इच्छा गरिनस् ।
38 Lo! youre hous schal be left to you desert.
हेर, तिमीहरूका घर तिमीहरूका सामु उजाड पारिएका छन् ।
39 And Y seie to you, ye schulen not se me fro hennus forth, til ye seien, Blessid is he, that cometh in the name of the Lord.
किनकि म तिमीहरूलाई भन्दछु, ‘परमप्रभुको नाउँमा आउने धन्यका हुन्’ भनी तिमीहरूले नभनेसम्म, अबदेखि तिमीहरूले मलाई देख्नेछैनौ ।”
