Matthew 19
1 And it was don, whanne Jhesus hadde endid these wordis, he passide fro Galilee, and cam in to the coostis of Judee ouer Jordan.
ଯୀଶୁ ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ କଥା ସମାପ୍ତ କରିବା ପରେ ଗାଲିଲୀରୁ ଚାଲିଯାଇ ଯର୍ଦ୍ଦନ ନଦୀର ଆରପାରରେ ଥିବା ଯିହୂଦିୟା ପ୍ରଦେଶ ସୀମାରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲେ।
2 And myche puple suede him, and he heelide hem there.
ପୁଣି, ବହୁସଂଖ୍ୟକ ଲୋକ ତାହାଙ୍କ ପଛେ ପଛେ ଗଲେ, ଆଉ ସେ ସେଠାରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ସୁସ୍ଥ କଲେ।
3 And Farisees camen to him, temptynge him, and seiden, Whether it be leueful to a man to leeue his wijf, for ony cause?
ଏହି ସମୟରେ ଫାରୂଶୀମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ଆସି ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ପରୀକ୍ଷା କରି ପଚାରିଲେ, ଯେକୌଣସି କାରଣରୁ ଆପଣା ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ କି ପରିତ୍ୟାଗ କରିବା କଅଣ ନ୍ୟାୟସଙ୍ଗତ?
4 Which answeride, and seide to hem, Han ye not red, for he that made men at the bigynnyng, made hem male and female?
ସେ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କଅଣ ପାଠ କରି ନାହଁ ଯେ, ସୃଷ୍ଟିକର୍ତ୍ତା ଆଦ୍ୟରୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ପୁରୁଷ ଓ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ କରି ସୃଷ୍ଟି କଲେ,”
5 And he seide, For this thing a man schal leeue fadir and modir, and he schal draw to his wijf; and thei schulen be tweyne in o fleisch.
ଆଉ କହିଲେ, “ଏହି କାରଣରୁ ପୁରୁଷ ପିତାମାତାଙ୍କୁ ପରିତ୍ୟାଗ କରି ନିଜ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀଠାରେ ଆସକ୍ତ ହେବ, ଆଉ ସେ ଦୁହେଁ ଏକାଙ୍ଗ ହେବେ?”
6 And so thei ben not now tweyne, but o fleisch. Therfor a man departe not that thing that God hath ioyned.
“ଏଣୁ ସେମାନେ ଆଉ ଦୁଇ ନୁହଁନ୍ତି, କିନ୍ତୁ ଏକାଙ୍ଗ ଅଟନ୍ତି। ଅତଏବ ଈଶ୍ବର ଯାହା ସଂଯୁକ୍ତ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ତାହା ଅଲଗା ନ କରୁ।”
7 Thei seien to hym, What thanne comaundide Moises, to yyue a libel of forsakyng, and to leeue of?
ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ପଚାରିଲେ, ତେବେ ମୋଶା କାହିଁକି ତ୍ୟାଗପତ୍ର ଦେଇ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀକୁ ପରିତ୍ୟାଗ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେଲେ?
8 And he seide to hem, For Moises, for the hardnesse of youre herte, suffride you leeue youre wyues; but fro the bigynnyng it was not so.
ଯୀଶୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ହୃଦୟର କଠିନତା ଦେଖି ମୋଶା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ କି ପରିତ୍ୟାଗ କରିବାକୁ ଅନୁମତି ଦେଲେ, କିନ୍ତୁ ଆଦ୍ୟରୁ ସେପରି ନ ଥିଲା।”
9 And Y seie to you, that who euer leeueth his wijf, but for fornycacioun, and weddith another, doith letcherie; and he that weddith the forsakun wijf, doith letcherie.
“ମାତ୍ର ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କହୁଅଛି, ଯେ କେହି ଆପଣା ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ କି ବ୍ୟଭିଚାର ଦୋଷ ବିନା ଅନ୍ୟ କାରଣରୁ ପରିତ୍ୟାଗ କରି ଅନ୍ୟକୁ ବିବାହ କରେ, ସେ ବ୍ୟଭିଚାର କରେ।”
10 His disciplis seien to him, If the cause of a man with a wijf is so, it spedith not to be weddid.
ଶିଷ୍ୟମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ସହିତ ମନୁଷ୍ୟର ଯଦି ଏହି ପ୍ରକାର ସମ୍ଵନ୍ଧ, ତେବେ ବିବାହ କରିବା ଭଲ ନୁହେଁ।
11 And he seide to hem, Not alle men taken this word; but to whiche it is youun.
କିନ୍ତୁ ଯୀଶୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ସମସ୍ତେ ଏହି କଥା ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିପାରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ, କେବଳ ଯେଉଁମାନଙ୍କୁ କ୍ଷମତା ଦିଆଯାଇଅଛି, ସେମାନେ କରିପାରନ୍ତି।
12 For ther ben geldingis, whiche ben thus born of the modris wombe; and ther ben geldyngis, that ben maad of men; and there ben geldyngis, that han geldid hem silf, for the kyngdom of heuenes. He that may take, `take he.
କାରଣ କେହି କେହି ମାତାର ଗର୍ଭରୁ ନପୁଂସକ ହୋଇ ଜନ୍ମ ହୋଇଅଛନ୍ତି, ଆଉ କେହି କେହି ମନୁଷ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ନପୁଂସକ କରାଯାଇଅଛନ୍ତି, ପୁଣି, ଆଉ କେହି କେହି ସ୍ୱର୍ଗରାଜ୍ୟ ସକାଶେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣାକୁ ନପୁଂସକ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି। ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିପାରେ, ସେ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରୁ।”
13 Thanne litle children weren brouyte to hym, that he schulde putte hondis to hem, and preie.
ସେତେବେଳେ ଯୀଶୁ ଯେପରି ଶିଶୁମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ହାତ ରଖି ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରନ୍ତି, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଅଣାଗଲେ। ମାତ୍ର ଶିଷ୍ୟମାନେ ଆଣୁଥିବା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଧମକ ଦେଲେ।
14 And the disciplis blamyden hem. But Jhesus seide to hem, Suffre ye that litle children come to me, and nyle ye forbede hem; for of siche is the kyngdom of heuenes.
କିନ୍ତୁ ଯୀଶୁ କହିଲେ, “ଶିଶୁମାନଙ୍କୁ ଛାଡ଼ିଦିଅ, ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ମୋ ପାଖକୁ ଆସିବାକୁ ମନା କର ନାହିଁ, କାରଣ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗରାଜ୍ୟ ଏହି ପ୍ରକାର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର।”
15 And whanne he hadde put to hem hondis, he wente fro thennus.
ଆଉ, ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ହାତ ରଖି ସେଠାରୁ ଚାଲିଗଲେ।
16 And lo! oon cam, and seide to hym, Good maister, what good schal Y do, that Y haue euerlastynge lijf? (aiōnios g166)
ଆଉ ଦେଖ, ଜଣେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସି ପଚାରିଲେ, ହେ ଗୁରୁ, ଅନନ୍ତ ଜୀବନ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହେବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ମୁଁ କେଉଁ ସତ୍କର୍ମ କରିବି? (aiōnios g166)
17 Which seith to hym, What axist thou me of good thing? There is o good God. But if thou wolt entre to lijf, kepe the comaundementis.
ସେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ସତ୍ ବିଷୟରେ ମୋତେ କାହିଁକି ପଚାରୁଅଛ? ସତ୍ କେବଳ ଜଣେ; କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯଦି ଜୀବନରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିବାକୁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କର, ତେବେ ଆଜ୍ଞାସବୁ ପାଳନ କର।”
18 He seith to hym, Whiche? And Jhesus seide, Thou schalt not do mansleying, thou schalt not do auowtrie, thou schalt not do thefte, thou schalt not seie fals witnessying;
ସେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ପଚାରିଲେ, କି କି ପ୍ରକାର ଆଜ୍ଞା? ଯୀଶୁ କହିଲେ, “ଏହିସବୁ, ନରହତ୍ୟା କର ନାହିଁ, ବ୍ୟଭିଚାର କର ନାହିଁ, ଚୋରି କର ନାହିଁ, ମିଥ୍ୟା ସାକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ଦିଅ ନାହିଁ,
19 worschipe thi fadir and thi modir, and, thou schalt loue thi neiybore as thi silf.
ପିତାମାତାଙ୍କୁ ସମାଦର କର; ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭର ପଡୋଶୀକି ଆତ୍ମତୁଲ୍ୟ ପ୍ରେମ କର।”
20 The yonge man seith to hym, Y haue kept alle these thingis fro my youthe, what yit failith to me?
ସେହି ଯୁବକ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ ମୁଁ ପାଳନ କରିଅଛି, ମୋହର ଆଉ କଅଣ ଉଣା ଅଛି?
21 Jhesus seith to hym, If thou wolt be perfite, go, and sille alle thingis that thou hast, and yyue to pore men, and thou schalt haue tresoure in heuene; and come, and sue me.
ଯୀଶୁ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସିଦ୍ଧ ହେବାକୁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କର, ତେବେ ଯାଇ ଆପଣାର ସର୍ବସ୍ୱ ବିକ୍ରୟ କରି ଦରିଦ୍ରମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦାନ କର, ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗରେ ଧନ ପାଇବ; ପୁଣି, ଆସି ମୋହର ଅନୁଗମନ କର।”
22 And whanne the yong man hadde herd these wordis, he wente awei sorewful, for he hadde many possessiouns.
କିନ୍ତୁ ଏହି କଥା ଶୁଣି ଯୁବକଟି ଦୁଃଖିତ ହୋଇ ଚାଲିଗଲେ, କାରଣ ତାଙ୍କର ବହୁତ ସମ୍ପତ୍ତି ଥିଲା।
23 And Jhesus seide to hise disciplis, Y seie to you treuthe, for a riche man of hard schal entre in to the kyngdom of heuenes.
ସେଥିରେ ଯୀଶୁ ଆପଣା ଶିଷ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସତ୍ୟ କହୁଅଛି, ଧନୀ ଲୋକ ଅତି କଷ୍ଟରେ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗରାଜ୍ୟରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିବ।
24 And eftsoone Y seie to you, it is liyter a camel to passe thorou a needlis iye, thanne a riche man to entre in to the kyngdom of heuens.
ପୁନଶ୍ଚ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କହୁଅଛି, ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ଧନୀଲୋକଙ୍କର ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିବା ଅପେକ୍ଷା ବରଂ ଛୁଞ୍ଚିର ଛିଦ୍ର ଦେଇ ଓଟର ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିବା ସହଜ।”
25 Whanne these thingis weren herd, the disciplis wondriden greetli, and seiden, Who thanne may be saaf?
ଶିଷ୍ୟମାନେ ଏହା ଶୁଣି ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ଯ୍ୟାନ୍ୱିତ ହୋଇ କହିଲେ, ତେବେ କିଏ ପରିତ୍ରାଣ ପାଇ ପାରେ?
26 Jhesus bihelde, and seide to hem, Anentis men this thing is impossible; but anentis God alle thingis ben possible.
ଯୀଶୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏକଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ଚାହିଁ କହିଲେ, “ଏହା ମନୁଷ୍ୟର ଅସାଧ୍ୟ, କିନ୍ତୁ ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ ସାଧ୍ୟ।”
27 Thanne Petre answeride, and seide to hym, Lo! we han forsake alle thingis, and we han suede thee; what thanne schal be to vs?
ସେଥିରେ ପିତର ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ, ଦେଖନ୍ତୁ, ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସମସ୍ତ ପରିତ୍ୟାଗ କରି ଆପଣଙ୍କ ଅନୁଗାମୀ ହୋଇଅଛୁ; ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତେବେ କଅଣ ପାଇବା?
28 Jhesus seide to hem, Truli I seie to you, that ye that han forsake alle thingis, and han sued me, in the regeneracioun whanne mannus sone schal sitte in the sete of his maieste, ye schulen sitte on twelue setis, demynge the twelue kynredis of Israel.
ଯୀଶୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସତ୍ୟ କହୁଅଛି, ନୂତନ ସୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ଯେତେବେଳେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟପୁତ୍ର ଆପଣା ଗୌରବମୟ ସିଂହାସନରେ ଉପବେଶନ କରିବେ, ସେତେବେଳେ, ମୋହର ଅନୁଗାମୀ ହୋଇଅଛ ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଦ୍ୱାଦଶ ସିଂହାସନରେ ଉପବେଶନ କରି ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ଦ୍ୱାଦଶ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀକୁ ଶାସନ କରିବ।”
29 And euery man that forsakith hous, britheren or sistren, fadir or modir, wijf ethir children, or feeldis, for my name, he schal take an hundrid foold, and schal welde euerlastynge lijf. (aiōnios g166)
“ପୁଣି, ଯେ କେହି ମୋହର ନାମ ସକାଶେ ଗୃହ କି ଭାଇ କି ଭଉଣୀ କି ପିତା କି ମାତା କି ସନ୍ତାନସନ୍ତତି କି ଭୂମି ପରିତ୍ୟାଗ କରେ, ସେ ବହୁଗୁଣ ପାଇବ, ପୁଣି, ଅନନ୍ତ ଜୀବନର ଅଧିକାରୀ ହେବ। (aiōnios g166)
30 But manye schulen be, the firste the laste, and the laste the firste.
କିନ୍ତୁ ପ୍ରଥମେ ଥିବା ଅନେକ ଲୋକ ଶେଷରେ ପଡ଼ିବେ ଓ ଶେଷରେ ଥିବା ଅନେକ ଲୋକ ପ୍ରଥମ ହେବେ।”
