Matthew 12
1 In that tyme Jhesus wente bi cornes in the sabot day; and hise disciplis hungriden, and bigunnen to plucke the eris of corn, and to ete.
În vremea aceea, Iisus mergea în ziua de Sabat prin lanurile de grâu. Discipolilor Săi le era foame și au început să culeagă căpățâni de grâu și să mănânce.
2 And Fariseis, seynge, seiden to hym, Lo! thi disciplis don that thing that is not leueful to hem to do in sabatis.
Dar fariseii, văzând aceasta, i-au spus: “Iată că discipolii tăi fac ceea ce nu este îngăduit să facă în ziua de Sabat.”
3 And he seide to hem, Whether ye han not red, what Dauid dide, whanne he hungride, and thei that weren with hym?
Dar El le-a zis: “N-ați citit ce a făcut David și cei ce erau cu el, când i-a fost foame?
4 hou he entride in to the hous of God, and eet looues of proposicioun, whiche looues it was not leueful to hym to ete, nether to hem that weren with hym, but to prestis aloone?
cum a intrat în casa lui Dumnezeu și a mâncat pâinea de spectacol, pe care nu era îngăduit să o mănânce nici el, nici cei care erau cu el, ci numai preoții?
5 Or whether ye han not red in the lawe, that in sabotis prestis in the temple defoulen the sabotis, and thei ben with oute blame?
Sau n-ați citit în Lege că, în ziua Sabatului, preoții din templu profanează Sabatul și sunt nevinovați?
6 And Y seie to you, that here is a gretter than the temple.
Dar Eu vă spun că unul mai mare decât templul este aici.
7 And if ye wisten, what it is, Y wole merci, and not sacrifice, ye schulden neuer haue condempned innocentis.
Dar dacă ați fi știut ce înseamnă acest lucru: “Eu doresc milă, și nu jertfă”, nu i-ați fi condamnat pe cei fără vină.
8 For mannus Sone is lord, yhe, of the sabat.
Căci Fiul Omului este Domnul Sabatului.”
9 And whanne he passide fro thennus, he cam in to the synagoge of hem.
A plecat de acolo și a intrat în sinagoga lor.
10 And lo! a man that hadde a drye hoond. And thei axiden hym, and seiden, Whether it be leueful to hele in the sabot? that thei schulden acuse hym.
Și iată că era acolo un om cu o mână uscată. L-au întrebat: “Este îngăduit să vindeci în ziua de Sabat?”, ca să-l acuze.
11 And he seide to hem, What man of you schal be, that hath o scheep, and if it falle in to a diche in the sabotis, whether he shal not holde, and lifte it vp?
El le-a zis: “Cine dintre voi are o oaie și, dacă aceasta cade într-o groapă în ziua de Sabat, nu se va apuca de ea și n-o va scoate afară?
12 How myche more is a man better than a scheep? Therfor it is leueful to do good in the sabatis.
Cu cât este mai valoros atunci un om decât o oaie! De aceea este permis să faci binele în ziua de Sabat”.
13 Thanne he seide to the man, Stretche forth thin hoond. And he strauyte forth; and it was restorid to heelthe as the tothir.
Apoi i-a spus omului: “Întinde-ți mâna”. El a întins-o; și ea a fost refăcută întreagă, la fel ca cealaltă.
14 And the Farisees wenten out, and maden a counsel ayens hym, hou thei schulden distrie hym.
Dar fariseii au ieșit și au uneltit împotriva lui, ca să-l nimicească.
15 And Jhesus knewe it, and wente awei fro thennus; and many sueden hym, and he helide hem alle.
Isus, aflând aceasta, s-a retras de acolo. L-au urmat mulțimi mari de oameni; și El i-a vindecat pe toți,
16 And he comaundide to hem, that thei schulden not make hym knowun;
și le-a poruncit să nu-L facă cunoscut,
17 that that thing were fulfillid, that was seid by Isaie, the prophete, seiynge, Lo!
ca să se împlinească ceea ce fusese spus prin profetul Isaia, care zicea
18 my child, whom Y haue chosun, my derling, in whom it hath wel plesid to my soule; Y shal put my spirit on him, and he shal telle dom to hethen men.
“Iată robul Meu, pe care l-am ales, iubitul meu, în care sufletul meu este binevoitor. Voi pune Duhul Meu peste el. El va proclama dreptatea națiunilor.
19 He shal not stryue, ne crye, nethir ony man shal here his voice in stretis.
El nu se va zbate și nu va striga, nici nu-i va auzi cineva vocea pe străzi.
20 A brisid rehed he shal not breke, and he schal not quenche smokynge flax, til he caste out doom to victorie;
El nu va rupe trestia zdrobită. El nu va stinge nici un fân care fumegă, până când va conduce justiția la victorie.
21 and hethene men schulen hope in his name.
În numele Lui vor nădăjdui neamurile.”
22 Thanne a man blynde and doumbe, that hadde a feend, was brouyt to hym; and he helide hym, so that he spak, and say.
Atunci a fost adus la El un orb și mut, posedat de un demon, și L-a vindecat, astfel că orbul și mutul vorbea și vedea.
23 And al the puple wondride, and seide, Whether this be the sone of Dauid?
Toată mulțimea era uimită și zicea: “Oare poate fi acesta fiul lui David?”
24 But the Farisees herden, and seiden, He this casteth not out feendis, but in Belsabub, prince of feendis.
Dar fariseii, când au auzit, au zis: “Omul acesta nu scoate demoni decât prin Beelzebul, prințul demonilor.”
25 And Jhesus, witynge her thouytis, seide to hem, Eche kingdom departid ayens it silf, schal be desolatid, and eche cite, or hous, departid ayens it self, schal not stonde.
Cunoscându-le gândurile, Isus le-a zis: “Orice împărăție împărțită împotriva ei însăși este dărâmată, și orice cetate sau casă împărțită împotriva ei însăși nu va rămâne în picioare.
26 And if Satanas castith out Satanas, he is departid ayens him silf; therfor hou schal his kingdom stonde?
Dacă Satana îl alungă pe Satana, el este dezbinat împotriva lui însuși. Cum va rămâne atunci împărăția lui în picioare?
27 And if Y in Belsabub caste out deuelis, in `whom youre sones casten out? Therfor thei schulen be youre domes men.
Dacă Eu, prin Beelzebul, scot afară demoni, prin cine îi scot copiii voștri? De aceea ei vor fi judecătorii voștri.
28 But if Y in the Spirit of God caste out feendis, thanne the kyngdom of God is comen in to you.
Dar dacă eu, prin Duhul lui Dumnezeu, scot afară demoni, atunci Împărăția lui Dumnezeu a venit peste voi.
29 Ethir hou may ony man entre in to the hous of a stronge man, and take awey hise vesselis, but `he first bynde the stronge man, and thanne he schal spuyle his hous?
Sau cum poate cineva să intre în casa celui puternic și să-i jefuiască bunurile, dacă nu-l leagă mai întâi pe cel puternic? Atunci îi va jefui casa.
30 He that is not with me, is ayens me; and he that gaderith not togidere with me, scaterith abrood.
Cine nu este cu Mine, este împotriva Mea, și cine nu se adună cu Mine, risipește.
31 Therfor I seie to you, al synne and blasfemye shal be foryouun to men, but `the spirit of blasfemye shal not be foryouun.
De aceea vă spun că orice păcat și orice blasfemie va fi iertat oamenilor, dar blasfemia împotriva Duhului nu va fi iertată oamenilor.
32 And who euere seith a word ayens mannus sone, it shal be foryouun to him; but who that seieth a word ayens the Hooli Goost, it shal not be foryouun to hym, nether in this world, ne in `the tothir. (aiōn g165)
Oricine va spune un cuvânt împotriva Fiului Omului, îi va fi iertat, dar oricine va vorbi împotriva Duhului Sfânt, nu-i va fi iertat, nici în veacul acesta, nici în cel viitor. (aiōn g165)
33 Ethir make ye the tree good, and his fruyt good; ether make ye the tree yuel and his fruyt yuel; for a tree is knowun of the fruyt.
“Ori faceți pomul bun și rodul lui bun, ori faceți pomul stricat și rodul lui stricat, căci pomul se cunoaște după rodul lui.
34 Ye generacioun of eddris, hou moun ye speke goode thingis, whanne ye ben yuele? For the mouth spekith of plente of the herte.
Voi, urmași ai viperelor, cum puteți, fiind răi, să vorbiți lucruri bune? Căci din belșugul inimii, gura vorbește.
35 A good man bryngith forth good thingis of good tresoure, and an yuel man bringith forth yuel thingis of yuel tresoure.
Omul bun din comoara sa bună scoate lucruri bune, iar omul rău din comoara sa rea scoate lucruri rele.
36 And Y seie to you, that of euery idel word, that men speken, thei schulen yelde resoun therof in the dai of doom;
Eu vă spun că orice cuvânt deșert pe care-l spun oamenii, vor da socoteală de el în ziua judecății.
37 for of thi wordis thou schalt be iustified, and of thi wordis thou shalt be dampned.
Căci prin cuvintele voastre veți fi îndreptățiți, iar prin cuvintele voastre veți fi osândiți.”
38 Thanne summe of the scribis and Farisees answeriden to hym, and seiden, Mayster, we wolen se a tokne of thee.
Atunci unii dintre cărturari și farisei au răspuns: “Învățătorule, vrem să vedem un semn de la Tine.”
39 Which answeride, and seide to hem, An yuel kynrede and a spouse brekere sekith a tokene, and a tokene shal not be youun to it, but the tokene of Jonas, the prophete.
Dar El le-a răspuns: “Un neam rău și adulterin caută un semn; dar nu i se va da alt semn decât semnul proorocului Iona.
40 For as Jonas was in the wombe of a whal thre daies and thre nyytis, so mannus sone shal be in the herte of the erthe thre daies and thre nyytis.
Căci, după cum Iona a stat trei zile și trei nopți în pântecele peștelui uriaș, tot așa și Fiul Omului va sta trei zile și trei nopți în inima pământului.
41 Men of Nynyue schulen rise in doom with this generacioun, and schulen condempne it; for thei diden penaunce in the prechyng of Jonas, and lo! here a gretter than Jonas.
Bărbații din Ninive vor sta în picioare la judecată cu acest neam și îl vor condamna, pentru că s-au pocăit la propovăduirea lui Iona; și iată că cineva mai mare decât Iona este aici.
42 The queene of the south shal rise in doom with this generacioun, and schal condempne it; for she cam fro the eendis of the erthe to here the wisdom of Salomon, and lo! here a gretter than Salomon.
Împărăteasa Sudului se va ridica la judecata cu acest neam și-l va osândi, pentru că a venit de la marginile pământului să asculte înțelepciunea lui Solomon; și iată, cineva mai mare decât Solomon este aici.
43 Whanne an vnclene spirit goith out fro a man, he goith bi drie places, `and sekith rest, and fyndith not.
“Când un duh necurat iese din om, trece prin locuri fără apă, căutând odihnă, și nu o găsește.
44 Thanne he seith, Y shal turne ayen in to myn hous, fro whannys Y wente out. And he cometh, and fyndith it voide, and clensid with besyms, and maad faire.
Atunci el spune: “Mă voi întoarce în casa mea de unde am venit.” Și când se întoarce, o găsește goală, măturată și pusă în ordine.
45 Thanne he goith, and takith with him seuene othere spiritis worse than hym silf; and thei entren, and dwellen there. And the laste thingis of that man ben maad worse than the formere. So it shal be to this worste generacioun.
Atunci se duce și ia cu el alte șapte duhuri mai rele decât el, intră înăuntru și locuiesc acolo. Ultima stare a acelui om devine mai rea decât prima. Tot așa va fi și cu această generație rea.”
46 Yit whil he spak to the puple, lo! his modir and his bretheren stoden withouteforth, sekynge to speke to hym.
Pe când vorbea El încă mulțimilor, iată că mama și frații Lui stăteau afară și căutau să vorbească cu El.
47 And a man seide to hym, Lo! thi modir and thi britheren stonden withouteforth, sekynge thee.
Cineva i-a zis: “Iată, mama ta și frații tăi stau afară și caută să vorbească cu tine.”
48 He answeride to the man, that spak to hym, and seide, Who is my modir? and who ben my britheren?
Dar el a răspuns celui ce-i vorbea: “Cine este mama mea? Cine sunt frații mei?”
49 And he helde forth his hoond in to hise disciplis, and seide, Lo! my modir and my bretheren;
El a întins mâna spre ucenicii Săi și a zis: “Iată mama Mea și frații Mei!
50 for who euer doith the wille of my fadir that is in heuenes, he is my brothir, and sistir, and modir.
Căci oricine face voia Tatălui Meu, care este în ceruri, acela este fratele Meu, sora Mea și mama Mea.”
