< Matthew 11 >

1 And it was doon, whanne Jhesus hadde endid, he comaundide to hise twelue disciplis, and passide fro thennus to teche and preche in the citees of hem.
Yesu wiee nʼasuafoɔ dumienu no kasakyerɛ no, ɔfirii hɔ kɔɔ nkuro a ɛbemmɛn no mu kɔkyerɛkyerɛɛ asɛm no.
2 But whanne Joon in boondis hadde herd the werkis of Crist, he sente tweyne of hise disciplis,
Yohane Osubɔni a saa ɛberɛ no na ɔda afiase no tee anwanwadeɛ a Kristo reyɛ no, ɔsomaa nʼasuafoɔ bɛbisaa no sɛ,
3 and seide to him, `Art thou he that schal come, or we abiden another?
“Wo ne deɛ ɔreba no, anaa yɛnhwɛ ɔfoforɔ anim?”
4 And Jhesus answeride, and seide `to hem, Go ye, and telle ayen to Joon tho thingis that ye han herd and seyn.
Yesu buaa wɔn sɛ, “Monsane nkɔ, nkɔka anwanwadeɛ a moahunu ne deɛ moate nkyerɛ Yohane sɛ,
5 Blynde men seen, crokid men goon, meselis ben maad clene, deefe men heren, deed men rysen ayen, pore men ben takun to `prechyng of the gospel.
anifirafoɔ hunu adeɛ, mmubuafoɔ nante, akwatafoɔ ho ate, asotifoɔ te asɛm, na awufoɔ nso nyane. Afei, monka nkyerɛ no sɛ, meka asɛmpa no kyerɛ ahiafoɔ.
6 And he is blessid, that shal not be sclaundrid in me.
Monsane nka nkyerɛ no bio sɛ, Nhyira ne deɛ merenyɛ no suntidua.”
7 And whanne thei weren goon awei, Jhesus bigan to seie of Joon to the puple, What thing wenten ye out in to desert to se? a reed wawed with the wynd?
Yohane asuafoɔ no kɔeɛ no, Yesu hyɛɛ aseɛ kaa Yohane ho asɛm kyerɛɛ nnipadɔm no. Ɔbisaa wɔn sɛ, “Mokɔɔ ɛserɛ so no, ɛdeɛn na mokɔɔ sɛ morekɔhwɛ? Ɛserɛ a mframa rebɔ no?
8 Or what thing wenten ye out to see? a man clothid with softe clothis? Lo! thei that ben clothid with softe clothis ben in the housis of kyngis.
Anaa na mosusu sɛ mobɛhunu ɔbarima bi a wahyehyɛ sɛ ɔhene ba te ahemfie?
9 But what thing wenten ye out to se? a prophete? Yhe, Y seie to you, and more than a prophete.
Anaa Onyankopɔn odiyifoɔ? Ɛnneɛ, mereka makyerɛ mo sɛ, ɔsene odiyifoɔ.
10 For this is he, of whom it is writun, Lo! Y sende myn aungel bifor thi face, that shal make redi thi weye bifor thee.
Na saa Yohane yi na Atwerɛsɛm no ka fa ne ho sɛ, “‘Mɛsoma me ɔbɔfoɔ adi wʼanim ɛkan. Ɔno na ɔbɛsiesie ɛkwan ama wo.’
11 Treuli Y seie to you, ther roos noon more than Joon Baptist among the children of wymmen; but he that is lesse in the kyngdom of heuenes, is more than he.
12 And fro the daies of Joon Baptist til now the kyngdom of heuenes suffrith violence, and violent men rauyschen it.
Na ɛfiri ɛberɛ a Yohane Osubɔni firii aseɛ kaa asɛmpa no, bɔɔ nkurɔfoɔ asu de bɛsi ɛnnɛ no, Ɔsoro Ahennie no de tumi retrɛ na nnipadɔm a wɔn ani abereɛ refa no aniɛden so.
13 For alle prophetis and the lawe `til to Joon prophecieden; and if ye wolen resseyue,
Ansa na Yohane rebɛba no, na adiyifoɔ ne Mose mmara no aka ɔsoro ahennie no ho asɛm dada.
14 he is Elie that is to come.
Sɛ mopɛ sɛ mote deɛ mereka no ase deɛ a, Yohane no, ɔno ne Elia a adiyifoɔ no hyɛɛ ne ho nkɔm sɛ ɔbɛba no.
15 He that hath eris of heryng, here he.
Deɛ ɔwɔ aso no, ɔntie!
16 But to whom schal Y gesse this generacioun lijk? It is lijk to children sittynge in chepyng, that crien to her peeris,
“Ɛdeɛn ho na mɛtumi de nnɛmmafoɔ yi atoto? Wɔte sɛ mmɔfra a wɔte baabi redi agorɔ. Ɛfa ka kyerɛ ɛfa sɛ,
17 and seien, We han songun to you, and ye han not daunsid; we han morned to you, and ye han not weilid.
“‘Yɛtoo anigyeɛ nnwom maa mo, nanso moansa. Yɛtoo awerɛhoɔ nnwom nso maa mo, nanso moansu.’
18 For Joon cam nether etynge ne drynkynge, and thei seien, He hath a deuel.
Yohane baeɛ a ɔnnidi na ɔnnom no, wɔse, ‘Ɔwɔ honhommɔne.’
19 The sone of man cam etynge and drynkynge, and thei seien, Lo! a man a glotoun, and a drinkere of wijne, and a freend of pupplicans and of synful men. And wisdom is iustified of her sones.
Onipa Ba no baeɛ a ɔdidi na ɔnom no nso, wɔse, ‘Monhwɛ odidifoɔ ne ɔsanomfoɔ a ɔyɛ ɔtogyefoɔ ne nnebɔneyɛfoɔ adamfo!’ Nanso, wɔn a wɔdi Onyankopɔn akyi nokorɛ mu no deɛ, wɔn bra di adanseɛ sɛ, nʼakwan nyinaa yɛ.”
20 Thanne Jhesus bigan to seye repreef to citees, in whiche ful manye vertues of him weren doon, for thei diden not penaunce.
Afei, ɔhyɛɛ aseɛ kaa nkuro a ɔyɛɛ anwanwadeɛ ahodoɔ wɔ hɔ nanso wɔannu wɔn ho no anim sɛ,
21 Wo to thee! Corosaym, woo to thee! Bethsaida; for if the vertues that ben doon in you hadden be doon in Tyre and Sidon, sumtyme thei hadden don penaunce in heyre and aische.
“Korasin, due! Betsaida, due! Anwanwadeɛ a meyɛɛ no mo mu no, sɛ meyɛɛ no Tiro ne Sidon a, anka ɛhɔfoɔ no de awerɛhoɔ ne ahonuo asakyera wɔn adwene dada.
22 Netheles Y seie to you, it schal be lesse peyne to Tire and Sidon in the dai of doom, than to you.
Atemmuo da no, asɛm a ɛbɛto wɔn no bɛsene deɛ ɛbɛto Tiro ne Sidon!
23 And thou, Cafarnaum, whethir thou schalt be arerid vp in to heuene? Thou shalt go doun in to helle. For if the vertues that ben don in thee, hadden be don in Sodom, perauenture thei schulden haue dwellid `in to this dai. (Hadēs g86)
Na wo Kapernaum, wopɛ sɛ woma wo ho so, nanso wɔbɛbrɛ wo ase de wo akɔ asaman. Anwanwadeɛ a meyɛɛ no wo hɔ no, sɛ wɔyɛɛ no wɔ Sodom a, anka ɛda so wɔ hɔ bɛsi ɛnnɛ. (Hadēs g86)
24 Netheles Y seie to you, that to the lond of Sodom it schal be `lesse peyne in the dai of doom, than to thee.
Mereka nokorɛ akyerɛ mo sɛ, Atemmuo da no, Tiro ne Sodom bɛnya gyinabea pa asene mo!”
25 In thilke tyme Jhesus answeride, and seide, Y knowleche to thee, fadir, lord of heuene and of erthe, for thou hast hid these thingis fro wijse men, and redi, and hast schewid hem to litle children;
Asɛnka no akyi, Yesu bɔɔ mpaeɛ sɛ, “Agya, ɔsoro ne asasewura, meda wo ase sɛ woanna nokorɛ no adi ankyerɛ wɔn a wɔsusu sɛ wɔyɛ anyansafoɔ, na mmom, wodaa nokorɛ no adi kyerɛɛ mmɔfra nkumaa.
26 so, fadir, for so it was plesynge tofore thee.
Aane, Agya, wo pɛ mu na woma ɛbaa saa.
27 Alle thingis ben youune to me of my fadir; and no man knewe the sone, but the fadir, nethir ony man knewe the fadir, but the sone, and to whom the sone wolde schewe.
“Mʼagya no de nneɛma nyinaa ahyɛ me nsa. Obiara nnim Ɔba no gye Agya no nko ara. Na obiara nnim Agya no gye Ɔba no, ne wɔn a Ɔba no pɛ sɛ ɔda no adi kyerɛ wɔn.
28 Alle ye that traueilen, and ben chargid, come to me, and Y schal fulfille you.
“Mo a moayɛ adwuma abrɛ na moasoa nnesoa nyinaa, mommra me nkyɛn, na mɛma mo ahome.
29 Take ye my yok on you, and lerne ye of me, for Y am mylde and meke in herte; and ye schulen fynde reste to youre soulis.
Momfa me kɔnnua nto mo ho so, na monsua me, ɛfiri sɛ, medwo, na mebrɛ me ho ase akoma mu, na mobɛnya ahome ama mo kra.
30 `For my yok is softe, and my charge liyt.
Ɛfiri sɛ, me kɔnnua yɛ mmerɛ, na mʼadesoa yɛ hare.”
