Mark 8
1 In tho daies eft, whanne myche puple was with Jhesu, and hadden not what thei schulden ete, whanne hise disciplis weren clepid togidir,
ಆ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಜನಸಮೂಹ ಕೂಡಿಬಂದಿತು. ಅವರಿಗೆ ಊಟಕ್ಕೆ ಏನೂ ಇಲ್ಲದ್ದರಿಂದ ಯೇಸು ತಮ್ಮ ಶಿಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿರಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆದು,
2 he seide to hem, I haue reuth on the puple, for lo! now the thridde dai thei abiden me, and han not what to ete;
“ನಾನು ಈ ಜನಸಮೂಹವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಕನಿಕರಪಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಮೂರು ದಿನಗಳಿಂದ ಇವರು ನನ್ನೊಂದಿಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇವರಿಗೆ ಊಟಕ್ಕೆ ಏನೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.
3 and if Y leeue hem fastynge in to her hous, thei schulen faile in the weie; for summe of hem camen fro fer.
ನಾನು ಇವರನ್ನು ಹಸಿವೆಯಿಂದ ತಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದರೆ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಳಲಿ ಹೋಗುವರು. ಇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರು ದೂರದಿಂದ ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ,” ಎಂದರು.
4 And hise disciplis answerden to hym, Wherof schal a man mowe fille hem with looues here in wildirnesse?
ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಯೇಸುವಿಗೆ, “ಈ ನಿರ್ಜನ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಜನರನ್ನು ತೃಪ್ತಿಪಡಿಸಲು ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲಿಂದ ತರುವುದು?” ಎಂದರು.
5 And he axide hem, Hou many looues han ye?
ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಎಷ್ಟು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳಿವೆ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು, “ಏಳು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳಿವೆ,” ಎಂದರು.
6 Whiche seiden, Seuene. And he comaundide the puple to sitte doun on the erthe. And he took the seuene looues, and dide thankyngis, and brak, and yaf to hise disciplis, that thei schulden sette forth. And thei settiden forth to the puple.
ಆಗ ಯೇಸು ಜನಸಮೂಹವು ನೆಲದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಟ್ಟು ಆ ಏಳು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಮುರಿದು ಜನಸಮೂಹಕ್ಕೆ ಹಂಚಲು ತಮ್ಮ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ಅವರು ಜನಸಮೂಹಕ್ಕೆ ಹಂಚಿದರು.
7 And thei hadden a few smale fischis; and he blesside hem, and comaundide, that thei weren sette forth.
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವು ಸಣ್ಣ ಮೀನುಗಳಿದ್ದವು. ಯೇಸು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹಂಚುವಂತೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದರು.
8 And thei eten, and weren fulfillid; and thei token vp that that lefte of relifs, seuene lepis.
ಜನರು ಊಟಮಾಡಿ ತೃಪ್ತರಾದರು. ಉಳಿದ ತುಂಡುಗಳನ್ನು ಒಟ್ಟುಗೂಡಿಸಿದಾಗ ಏಳು ಬುಟ್ಟಿಗಳು ತುಂಬಿದವು.
9 And thei that eeten, weren as foure thousynde of men; and he lefte hem.
ಊಟಮಾಡಿದವರು ಸುಮಾರು ನಾಲ್ಕು ಸಾವಿರ ಮಂದಿ. ಯೇಸು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ,
10 And anoon he wente vp in to a boot, with hise disciplis, and cam in to the coostis of Dalmamytha.
ತಮ್ಮ ಶಿಷ್ಯರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ದೋಣಿಯನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿ ದಲ್ಮನೂಥ ಎಂಬ ಪ್ರದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದರು.
11 And the Farisees wenten out, and bigunnen to dispuyte with hym, and axiden a tokne of hym fro heuene, and temptiden hym.
ಫರಿಸಾಯರು ಬಂದು ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಪರಲೋಕದಿಂದ ತಮಗೆ ಒಂದು ಸೂಚಕಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಕೇಳಿ, ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ತರ್ಕಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದರು.
12 And he sorewynge `with ynne in spirit, seide, What sekith this generacioun a tokne? Treuli Y seie to you, a tokene schal not be youun to this generacioun.
ಯೇಸು ತಮ್ಮ ಆತ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ನೊಂದುಕೊಂಡು, “ಈ ಸಂತತಿಯು ಸೂಚಕಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವುದು ಏಕೆ? ಈ ಸಂತತಿಗೆ ಯಾವ ಸೂಚಕಕಾರ್ಯವೂ ಕೊಡಲಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ,” ಎಂದರು.
13 And he lefte hem, and wente vp eftsoone in to a boot, and wente ouer the see.
ಯೇಸು ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ತಿರುಗಿ ದೋಣಿಯನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿ ಆಚೆದಡಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋದರು.
14 And thei foryaten to take breed, and thei hadden not with hem but o loof in the boot.
ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಬುತ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಮರೆತಿದ್ದರು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ದೋಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಒಂದೇ ಒಂದು ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ಇತ್ತು.
15 And he comaundide hem, and seide, Se ye, and `be war of the sowre dowy of Farisees, and of the sowrdowy of Eroude.
ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ಫರಿಸಾಯರ ಹುಳಿಹಿಟ್ಟಿನ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಹೆರೋದನ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನೀವು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಯಿಂದಿರಿ,” ಎಂದು ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
16 And thei thouyten, and seiden oon to anothir, For we han not looues.
ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ, “ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ಇಲ್ಲದಿರುವುದರಿಂದಲೇ ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿರಬೇಕು,” ಎಂದು ಚರ್ಚಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು.
17 And whanne this thing was knowun, Jhesus seide to hem, What thenken ye, for ye han not looues? Yit ye knowun not, ne vndurstonden; yit ye han youre herte blyndid.
ಯೇಸು ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ್ದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ಇಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಏಕೆ ಚರ್ಚಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೀರಿ? ನೀವು ಇನ್ನೂ ಕಾಣದೆಯೂ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳದೆಯೂ ಇದ್ದೀರೋ? ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಕಠಿಣ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೀರೋ?
18 Ye hauynge iyen, seen not, and ye hauynge eeris, heren not; nethir ye han mynde,
ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳಿದ್ದೂ ನೀವು ಕಾಣುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೋ? ಕಿವಿಗಳಿದ್ದೂ ನೀವು ಕೇಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೋ?
19 whanne Y brak fyue looues among fyue thousynde, and hou many cofynes ful of brokun meete `ye tokun vp? Thei seien to hym, Twelue.
ನಾನು ಆ ಐದು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ಐದು ಸಾವಿರ ಜನರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುರಿದಾಗ ಎಷ್ಟು ಬುಟ್ಟಿಗಳ ತುಂಬ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯ ತುಂಡುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿದಿರಿ ಎಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ನೆನಪಿಲ್ಲವೇ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಲು ಅವರು ಯೇಸುವಿಗೆ, “ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಬುಟ್ಟಿಗಳು,” ಎಂದರು.
20 Whanne also seuene looues among foure thousynde of men, hou many lepis of brokun mete tokun ye vp?
“ಆ ಏಳು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಾಲ್ಕು ಸಾವಿರ ಜನರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುರಿದಾಗ ಎಷ್ಟು ಬುಟ್ಟಿಗಳ ತುಂಬ ತುಂಡುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿದಿರಿ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಲು ಅವರು, “ಏಳು ಬುಟ್ಟಿಗಳು,” ಎಂದರು.
21 And thei seien to hym, Seuene. And he seide to hem, Hou vndurstonden ye not yit?
ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ನೀವು ಇನ್ನೂ ಗ್ರಹಿಸದೆ ಇರುವುದು ಹೇಗೆ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು.
22 And thei camen to Bethsaida, and thei bryngen to hym a blynde man, and thei preieden hym, that he schulde touche hym.
ಯೇಸು ಬೇತ್ಸಾಯಿದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಾಗ, ಕೆಲವರು ಒಬ್ಬ ಕುರುಡನನ್ನು ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಂದು ಅವನನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಬೇಕೆಂದು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.
23 And whanne he hadde take the blynde mannus hoond, he ledde hym out of the street, and spete in to hise iyen, and sette hise hoondis on hym; and he axide hym, if he saye ony thing.
ಯೇಸು ಆ ಕುರುಡನ ಕೈಹಿಡಿದು ಊರ ಹೊರಗೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ, ಅವನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಉಗುಳಿ ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಕೈಯಿಟ್ಟು, “ನಿನಗೆ ಏನಾದರೂ ಕಾಣುತ್ತದೋ?” ಎಂದು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದರು.
24 And he bihelde, and seide, Y se men as trees walkynge.
ಅವನು ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ ನೋಡಿ, “ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಮರಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದರೂ ಅವರು ನಡೆದಾಡುವುದನ್ನು ನೋಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ,” ಎಂದನು.
25 Aftirward eftsoones he sette hise hondis on hise iyen, and he bigan to see, and he was restorid, so that he saiy cleerli alle thingis.
ತರುವಾಯ ಯೇಸು ತಿರುಗಿ ಅವನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನಿಟ್ಟರು. ಆಗ ಅವನು ಗುಣಹೊಂದಿದವನಾಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಬಹುಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಕಂಡನು.
26 And he sente hym in to his hous, and seide, Go in to thin hous; and if thou goist in to the streete, seie to no man.
ಯೇಸು ಅವನಿಗೆ, “ನೀನು ಊರೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಬೇಡ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಮನೆಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟರು.
27 And Jhesus entride and hise disciplis in to the castels of Cesarye of Philip. And in the weie he axide hise disciplis, and seide to hem, Whom seien men that Y am?
ಯೇಸುವೂ ಅವರ ಶಿಷ್ಯರೂ ಕೈಸರೈಯ ಫಿಲಿಪ್ಪಿ ಊರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೋದರು. ಯೇಸು ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ, “ನಾನು ಯಾರೆಂದು ಜನರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು.
28 Whiche answeriden to hym, and seiden, Summen seien, Joon Baptist; other seien, Heli; and other seien, as oon of the prophetis.
ಅವರು, “ಕೆಲವರು ಸ್ನಾನಿಕನಾದ ಯೋಹಾನನು, ಮತ್ತೆ ಕೆಲವರು ಎಲೀಯನು, ಇನ್ನು ಕೆಲವರು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
29 Thanne he seith to hem, But whom seien ye that Y am? Petre answeride, and seide to hym, Thou art Crist.
ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಯಾರೆನ್ನುತ್ತೀರಿ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಲು, ಪೇತ್ರನು ಯೇಸುವಿಗೆ, “ನೀನು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನೇ,” ಎಂದನು.
30 And he chargide hem, that thei schulden not seie of hym to ony man.
ತಮ್ಮ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಅವರು ಯಾರಿಗೂ ಹೇಳಬಾರದೆಂದು ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
31 And he bigan to teche hem, that it bihoueth mannus sone to suffre many thingis, and to be repreued of the elder men, and of the hiyest prestis, and the scribis, and to be slayn, and aftir thre dayes, to rise ayen.
ಮನುಷ್ಯಪುತ್ರನಾದ ನಾನು ಅನೇಕ ಬಾಧೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸಿ, ಹಿರಿಯರಿಂದಲೂ ಮುಖ್ಯಯಾಜಕರಿಂದಲೂ ನಿಯಮ ಬೋಧಕರಿಂದಲೂ ತಿರಸ್ಕೃತನಾಗಿ ಕೊಲೆಗೆ ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿ ಮೂರು ದಿವಸಗಳಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಜೀವಂತವಾಗಿ ಎದ್ದು ಬರುವುದು ಅವಶ್ಯ ಎಂದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸಲಾರಂಭಿಸಿದರು.
32 And he spak pleynli the word. And Peter took hym, and bigan to blame hym, and seide, Lord, be thou merciful to thee, for this schal not be.
ಯೇಸು ಆ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಪೇತ್ರನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕವಾಗಿ ಕರೆದು ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಗದರಿಸಲಾರಂಭಿಸಿದನು.
33 And he turnede, and saiy hise disciplis, and manasside Petir, and seide, Go after me, Satanas; for thou sauerist not tho thingis that ben of God, but tho thingis that ben of men.
ಆದರೆ ಯೇಸು ತಿರುಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಶಿಷ್ಯರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ನೋಡಿ ಪೇತ್ರನನ್ನು ಗದರಿಸಿ, “ಸೈತಾನನೇ, ನನ್ನಿಂದ ತೊಲಗಿಹೋಗು! ನಿನ್ನ ಆಲೋಚನೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯರದೇ ಹೊರತು ದೇವರದಲ್ಲ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
34 And whanne the puple was clepid togidere, with hise disciplis, he seide to hem, If ony man wole come after me, denye he hym silf, and take his cros, and sue he me.
ಯೇಸು ಜನರನ್ನೂ ಶಿಷ್ಯರನ್ನೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕರೆದು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ಯಾರಿಗಾದರೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಲು ಮನಸ್ಸಿದ್ದರೆ, ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನಿರಾಕರಿಸಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಶಿಲುಬೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಲಿ.
35 For he that wole make saaf his lijf, schal leese it; and he that leesith his lijf for me, and for the gospel, schal make it saaf.
ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದಿರುವವರು ಅದನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು. ಆದರೆ ನನ್ನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿಯೂ ಸುವಾರ್ತೆಯ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿಯೂ ಯಾರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವರೋ ಅವರು ಅದನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು.
36 For what profitith it to a man, if he wynne al the world, and do peiryng to his soule?
ಒಬ್ಬ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಲೋಕವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸಂಪಾದಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವಂತ ಆತ್ಮವನ್ನೇ ನಷ್ಟಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಲಾಭವೇನು?
37 or what chaunging schal a man yyue for his soule?
ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಆತ್ಮಕ್ಕೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಏನು ಕೊಡುವರು?
38 But who that knoulechith me and my wordis in this generacioun avowtresse and synful, also mannus sone schal knouleche him, whanne he schal come in the glorie of his fadir, with his aungels.
ಯಾರಾದರೂ ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರದ ಈ ಪಾಪಿಷ್ಠ ಸಂತತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಮತ್ತು ನನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ನಾಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರೋ ಅವರ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯಪುತ್ರನಾದ ನಾನು ಸಹ ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಮಹಿಮೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ದೂತರೊಡನೆ ಬರುವಾಗ ನಾಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
