Luke 8
1 And it was don aftirward, and Jhesus made iourney bi citees and castels, prechynge and euangelisynge the rewme of God, and twelue with hym;
੧ਕੁਝ ਸਮੇਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੋਇਆ ਕਿ ਯਿਸੂ ਆਪਣੇ ਬਾਰਾਂ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਨਗਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਿਰਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਪਰਚਾਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਦੀ ਖੁਸ਼ਖਬਰੀ ਸੁਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਸੀ।
2 and sum wymmen that weren heelid of wickid spiritis and sijknessis, Marie, that is clepid Maudeleyn, of whom seuene deuelis wenten out,
੨ਅਤੇ ਕਈ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਆਤਮਾਵਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਚੰਗੀਆਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਸਨ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਮਰਿਯਮ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਗਦਲੀਨੀ ਆਖਦੇ ਸਨ। ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸੱਤ ਭੂਤਾਂ ਨਿੱਕਲੀਆਂ ਸਨ।
3 and Joone, the wijf of Chuse, the procuratoure of Eroude, and Susanne, and many othir, that mynystriden to hym of her ritchesse.
੩ਅਤੇ ਯੋਆਨਾ ਜੋ ਹੇਰੋਦੇਸ ਦੇ ਦਰਬਾਰੀ ਖੂਜ਼ਾਹ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਸੰਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਸਨ ਜੋ ਆਪਣੀ ਸੰਪਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਟਹਿਲ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ ਸਨ।
4 And whanne myche puple was come togidir, and men hiyeden to hym fro the citees, he seide bi a symylitude,
੪ਜਦ ਵੱਡੀ ਭੀੜ ਇਕੱਠੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਨਗਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਸਨ, ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤ ਨਾਲ ਆਖਿਆ
5 He that sowith, yede out to sowe his seed. And while he sowith, sum fel bisidis the weie, and was defoulid, and briddis of the eir eten it.
੫ਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਬੀਜਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਬੀਜ ਬੀਜਣ ਨੂੰ ਨਿੱਕਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਬੀਜਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕੁਝ ਬੀਜ ਸੜਕ ਦੇ ਕੰਢੇ ਜਾ ਡਿੱਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਮਿੱਧੇ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਦੇ ਪੰਛੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਚੁਗ ਲਿਆ।
6 And othir fel on a stoon, and it sprunge vp, and driede, for it hadde not moysture.
੬ਅਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਪਥਰੀਲੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਿੱਗਿਆ ਜੋ ਉੱਗਦਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਸੁੱਕ ਗਏ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਣੀ ਨਾ ਮਿਲਿਆ।
7 And othir fel among thornes, and the thornes sprongen vp togider, and strangliden it.
੭ਅਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਕੰਡਿਆਲੀਆਂ ਝਾੜੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਿੱਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਡਿਆਲੀਆਂ ਝਾੜੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਵੱਧ ਕੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਬਾ ਲਿਆ।
8 And othir fel in to good erthe, and it sprungun made an hundrid foold fruyt. He seide these thingis, and criede, He that hath eeris of heryng, here he.
੮ਅਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਚੰਗੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਿੱਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਗ ਕੇ ਸੌ ਗੁਣਾ ਫਲ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਹ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਉੱਚੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੋਲਿਆ ਕਿ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਸੁਣਨ ਦੇ ਕੰਨ ਹੋਣ ਉਹ ਸੁਣੇ!
9 But hise disciplis axiden him, what this parable was.
੯ਉਸ ਦੇ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ, ਇਸ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤ ਦਾ ਅਰਥ ਕੀ ਹੈ?
10 And he seide to hem, To you it is grauntid to knowe the pryuete of the kyngdom of God; but to othir men in parablis, that thei seynge se not, and thei herynge vndurstonde not.
੧੦ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਭੇਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਮਝ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਵੇਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਨਾ ਵੇਖਣ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਣਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਨਾ ਸਮਝਣ।
11 And this is the parable.
੧੧ਇਸ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤ ਦਾ ਅਰਥ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਬੀਜ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਬਚਨ ਹੈ।
12 The seed is Goddis word; and thei that ben bisidis the weie, ben these that heren; and aftirward the feend cometh, and takith awei the word fro her herte, lest thei bileuynge be maad saaf.
੧੨ਅਤੇ ਸੜਕ ਦੇ ਕੰਢੇ ਵਾਲੇ ਉਹ ਹਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਚਨ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਿਆ, ਤਦ ਸ਼ੈਤਾਨ ਆ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਬਚਨ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਿਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੱਢ ਕੇ ਲੈ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਪਾਉਣ।
13 But thei that fel on a stoon, ben these that whanne thei han herd, resseyuen the word with ioye. And these han not rootis; for at a tyme thei bileuen, and in tyme of temptacioun thei goen awei.
੧੩ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਪਥਰੀਲੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਡਿੱਗੇ ਸੋ ਉਹ ਹਨ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਬਚਨ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਮੰਨ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਜੜ੍ਹ ਨਾ ਫੜ੍ਹਨ ਕਰਕੇ ਥੋੜ੍ਹਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਹੀ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਤਾਵਾ ਪੈਣ ਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਹੱਟ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
14 But that that fel among thornes, ben these that herden, and of bisynessis, and ritchessis, and lustis of lijf thei gon forth, and ben stranglid, and bryngen forth no fruyt.
੧੪ਜੋ ਕੰਡਿਆਲੀਆਂ ਝਾੜੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਿੱਗੇ ਸਨ, ਸੋ ਉਹ ਹਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਚਨ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਚਿੰਤਾਵਾਂ, ਧਨ ਦਾ ਲੋਭ ਅਤੇ ਭੋਗ ਬਿਲਾਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੈ ਕੇ ਸੁਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਬਚਨ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਫਲਦਾਇਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
15 But that that fel in to good erthe, ben these that, in a good herte, and best heren the word, and holdun, and brengen forth fruyt in pacience.
੧੫ਪਰ ਜੋ ਚੰਗੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਿੱਗਿਆ ਸੋ ਉਹ ਹਨ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਬਚਨ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਚੰਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਖਰੇ ਦਿਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਂਭ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਧੀਰਜ ਨਾਲ ਫਲ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
16 No man lityneth a lanterne, and hilith it with a vessel, or puttith it vndur a bed, but on a candilstike, that men that entren seen liyt.
੧੬ਕੋਈ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੀਵਾ ਬਾਲ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਟੋਰੇ ਜਾਂ ਮੰਜੇ ਦੇ ਹੇਠ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਦੀਵਟ ਉੱਤੇ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਅੰਦਰ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਚਾਨਣ ਵੇਖਣ।
17 For ther is no priuei thing, which schal not be openyd, nether hid thing, which schal not be knowun, and come in to open.
੧੭ਕੁਝ ਛੁੱਪਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਜੋ ਪਰਗਟ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਗੁਪਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਜੋ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਨਾ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਜਾਗਰ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ।
18 Therfor se ye, hou ye heren; for it schal be youun to hym that hath, and who euer hath not, also that that he weneth that he haue, schal be takun awei fro hym.
੧੮ਇਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਸੁਚੇਤ ਰਹੋ ਜੋ ਕਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੁਣਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਕੁਝ ਹੋਵੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਉਹ ਵੀ ਲੈ ਲਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਮਝਦਾ ਹੈ।
19 And his modir and britheren camen to hym; and thei myyten not come to hym for the puple.
੧੯ਯਿਸੂ ਦੀ ਮਾਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਭਰਾ ਉਸ ਕੋਲ ਆਏ ਪਰ ਭੀੜ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਨਾ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਸਕੇ।
20 And it was teeld to hym, Thi modir and thi britheren stonden with outforth, willynge to se thee.
੨੦ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਖ਼ਬਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਕਿ ਤੇਰੀ ਮਾਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਭਰਾ ਬਾਹਰ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
21 And he answeride, and seide to hem, My modir and my britheren ben these, that heren the word of God, and doon it.
੨੧ਪਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ ਮੇਰੀ ਮਾਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਭਰਾ ਇਹ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਬਚਨ ਸੁਣਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੰਨਦੇ ਹਨ।
22 And it was don in oon of daies, he wente vp in to a boot, and hise disciplis. And he seide to hem, Passe we ouer the see. And thei wenten vp.
੨੨ਫਿਰ ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ ਯਿਸੂ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਚੇਲੇ ਬੇੜੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਆਓ, ਅਸੀਂ ਝੀਲ ਦੇ ਉਸ ਪਾਰ ਚੱਲੀਏ, ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਬੇੜੀ ਖੋਲ੍ਹ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
23 And while thei rowiden, he slepte. And a tempest of wynde cam doun in to the watir, and thei weren dryuun hidur and thidur with wawis, and weren in perel.
੨੩ਪਰ ਜਦ ਉਹ ਬੇੜੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ ਤਾਂ ਯਿਸੂ ਸੌਂ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਝੀਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੂਫ਼ਾਨ ਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਬੇੜੀ ਪਾਣੀ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਦੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਖ਼ਤਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਨ।
24 And thei camen nyy, and reisiden hym, and seiden, Comaundoure, we perischen. And he roos, and blamyde the wynde, and the tempest of the watir; and it ceesside, and pesibilte was maad.
੨੪ਤਦ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਆ ਕੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਜਗਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ਸੁਆਮੀ ਜੀ, ਸੁਆਮੀ ਜੀ! ਅਸੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਮਰ ਚੱਲੇ ਹਾਂ! ਤਦ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉੱਠ ਕੇ ਤੂਫ਼ਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਹਿਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਝਿੜਕਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸ਼ਾਂਤ ਹੋ ਗਈਆਂ।
25 And he seide to hem, Where is youre feith? Which dredynge wondriden, and seiden togidir, Who, gessist thou, is this? for he comaundith to wyndis and to the see, and thei obeien to hym.
੨੫ਫੇਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ, ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਿੱਥੇ ਹੈ? ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਡਰ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਆਪਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਹਿਣ ਲੱਗੇ, ਇਹ ਕੌਣ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੂਫ਼ਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਮੰਨਦੇ ਹਨ?।
26 And thei rowiden to the cuntree of Gerasenus, that is ayens Galilee.
੨੬ਉਹ ਗਿਰਸੇਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ ਜੋ ਗਲੀਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਉਸ ਪਾਰ ਹੈ।
27 And whanne he wente out to the loond, a man ran to hym, that hadde a deuel long tyme, and he was not clothid with cloth, nether dwellide in hous, but in sepulcris.
੨੭ਅਤੇ ਜਦ ਉਹ ਕੰਢੇ ਤੇ ਉੱਤਰਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨਗਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਆਦਮੀ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਆਤਮਾਵਾਂ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਹਿਨਦਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਘਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਗੋਂ ਕਬਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਸੀ।
28 This, whanne he saiy Jhesu, fel doun bifor hym, and he criynge with a greet vois seide, What to me and to thee, Jhesu, the sone of the hiyest God? Y biseche thee, that thou turmente `not me.
੨੮ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਦਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਚੀਕ ਉੱਠਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਡਿੱਗ ਪਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਚੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਨਾਲ ਬੋਲਿਆ, ਹੇ ਮਹਾਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯਿਸੂ, ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਕੀ ਕੰਮ? ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦੁੱਖ ਨਾ ਦਿਓ!
29 For he comaundide the vncleene spirit, that he schulde go out fro the man. For he took hym ofte tymes, and he was boundun with cheynes, and kept in stockis, and, whanne the boondis weren brokun, he was lad of deuelis in to desert.
੨੯ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਅਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਆਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਆਦਮੀ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਨਿੱਕਲਣ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜੋ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ-ਆਤਮਾ ਬਾਰ-ਬਾਰ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਸੀ। ਬਹੁਤ ਵਾਰ ਲੋਕ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਗਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਬੇੜੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਜਕੜ ਕੇ ਪਹਿਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਸਨ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਬੰਧਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੋੜ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਸੀ। ਦੁਸ਼ਟ-ਆਤਮਾ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਜਾੜਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਜਾਈ ਫਿਰਦਾ ਸੀ।
30 And Jhesus axide hym, and seide, What name is to thee? And he seide, A legioun; for many deuelis weren entrid in to hym.
੩੦ਫਿਰ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ, ਤੇਰਾ ਕੀ ਨਾਮ ਹੈ? ਉਹ ਬੋਲਿਆ, ਲਸ਼ਕਰ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਆਤਮਾਵਾਂ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਨ।
31 And thei preyden hym, that he schulde not comaunde hem, that thei schulden go in to helle. (Abyssos g12)
੩੧ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਯਿਸੂ ਦੀ ਮਿੰਨਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਅਥਾਹ ਕੁੰਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਣ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਨਾ ਕਰ! (Abyssos g12)
32 And there was a flok of many swyne lesewynge in an hil, and thei preieden hym, that he schulde suffre hem to entre in to hem. And he suffride hem.
੩੨ਨੇੜੇ ਪਹਾੜ ਉੱਤੇ ਸੂਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡਾ ਇੱਜੜ ਚੁਗਦਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਮਿੰਨਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਆਗਿਆ ਦਿਓ ਜੋ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੂਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾ ਵੜੀਏ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਗਿਆ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
33 And so the deuelis wenten out fro the man, and entriden in to the swyne; and with a birre the flok wente heedlyng in to the pool, and was drenchid.
੩੩ਅਤੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਆਤਮਾਵਾਂ ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਨਿੱਕਲ ਕੇ ਸੂਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾ ਵੜੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰਾ ਇੱਜੜ ਪਹਾੜ ਦੀ ਢਲਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਤੇਜ ਭੱਜ ਕੇ ਝੀਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਡੁੱਬ ਕੇ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ।
34 And whanne the hirdis sayn this thing don, thei flowen, and tolden in to the cite, and in to the townes.
੩੪ਤਦ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਚੁਗਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਭੱਜੇ ਅਤੇ ਨਗਰ ਅਤੇ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਖ਼ਬਰ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਈ।
35 And thei yeden out to se that thing that was don. And thei camen to Jhesu, and thei founden the man sittynge clothid, fro whom the deuelis wenten out, and in hool mynde at hise feet; and thei dredden.
੩੫ਤਾਂ ਲੋਕ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਜੋ ਵਾਪਰਿਆ ਸੀ, ਵੇਖਣ ਨੂੰ ਨਿੱਕਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਆ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਆਦਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਆਤਮਾਵਾਂ ਨਿੱਕਲੀਆਂ ਸਨ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਪਹਿਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਰਤ ਸੰਭਾਲੀ ਯਿਸੂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਲਾਗੇ ਬੈਠਾ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਡਰ ਗਏ।
36 And thei that sayn tolden to hem, hou he was maad hool of the legioun.
੩੬ਵੇਖਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਆਤਮਾਵਾਂ ਸਨ ਕਿਸ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਚੰਗਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।
37 And al the multitude of the cuntre of Gerasenus preiede hym, that he schulde go fro hem, for thei werun holdun with greet drede. He wente vp in to a boot, and turnede ayen.
੩੭ਤਦ ਗਿਰਸੇਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜੋ ਸਾਡੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਚਲੇ ਜਾਓ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਡਰ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਸੋ ਉਹ ਬੇੜੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਵਾਪਸ ਚੱਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ।
38 And the man of whom the deuelis weren gon out, preide hym, that he schulde be with hym. Jhesus lefte hym,
੩੮ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਆਦਮੀ ਨੇ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਭੂਤਾਂ ਨਿੱਕਲੀਆਂ ਸਨ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਰਹਿਣ ਲਈ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਪਰ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਦਿਆ ਕੀਤਾ
39 and seide, Go ayen in to thin hous, and telle hou grete thingis God hath don to thee. And he wente thorow al the cite, and prechide, hou grete thingis Jhesus hadde don to hym.
੩੯ਜੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਜਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸ ਜੋ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਕਿੰਨੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ। ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਨਗਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਣ ਲੱਗਾ ਜੋ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਕਿੰਨੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤੇ।
40 And it was don, whanne Jhesus was gon ayen, the puple resseyuede hym; for alle weren abidynge hym.
੪੦ਜਦ ਯਿਸੂ ਵਾਪਸ ਮੁੜ ਆਇਆ ਤਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਕਬੂਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਸਭ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਉਡੀਕ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ।
41 And lo! a man, to whom the name was Jayrus, and he was prynce of a synagoge; and he fel doun at the feet of Jhesu, and preiede hym, that he schulde entre in to his hous,
੪੧ਉਸੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਜੈਰੁਸ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਆਇਆ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਘਰ ਦਾ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਿੱਗ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਮਿੰਨਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਜੋ ਮੇਰੇ ਘਰ ਚੱਲੋ।
42 for he hadde but o douyter `almost of twelue yeer eelde, and sche was deed. And it bifel, the while he wente, he was thrungun of the puple.
੪੨ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਬਾਰਾਂ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਇਕਲੌਤੀ ਧੀ ਮਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਭੀੜ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਦਬਾਈ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਸੀ।
43 And a womman that hadde a flux of blood twelue yeer, and hadde spendid al hir catel in leechis, and sche miyte not be curid of ony,
੪੩ਤਦ ਇੱਕ ਔਰਤ ਨੇ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਰਾਂ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਲਹੂ ਵਹਿਣ ਦੀ ਬਿਮਾਰੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਕਮਾਈ ਹਕੀਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਹਕੀਮ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਠੀਕ ਨਾ ਕਰ ਸਕਿਆ।
44 and sche cam nyy bihynde, and touchide the hem of his cloth, and anoon the fluxe of hir blood ceesside.
੪੪ਉਸ ਨੇ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਦੀ ਆ ਕੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਦੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਦਾ ਪੱਲਾ ਛੂਹਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਲਹੂ ਵਹਿਣਾ ਬੰਦ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।
45 And Jhesus seide, Who is that touchide me? And whanne alle men denyeden, Petre seide, and thei that weren with hym, Comaundour, the puple thristen, and disesen thee, and thou seist, Who touchide me?
੪੫ਤਦ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕਿਸ ਨੇ ਛੂਹਿਆ ਹੈ? ਜਦ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਤਾਂ ਪਤਰਸ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਦਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਸੁਆਮੀ ਜੀ, ਭੀੜ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਡਿੱਗਦੀ ਹੈ।
46 And Jhesus seide, Summan hath touchid me, for that vertu yede out of me.
੪੬ਪਰ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਛੂਹਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਨਿੱਕਲੀ ਹੈ।
47 And the womman seynge, that it was not hid fro hym, cam tremblynge, and fel doun at hise feet, and for what cause sche hadde touchid hym sche schewide bifor al the puple, and hou anoon sche was helid.
੪੭ਜਦ ਉਸ ਔਰਤ ਨੇ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਲੁੱਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦੀ ਤਾਂ ਕੰਬਦੀ-ਕੰਬਦੀ ਯਿਸੂ ਕੋਲ ਆਈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਿੱਗ ਕੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਹਾਲ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਜੋ ਕਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਛੂਹਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਕਦਮ ਚੰਗੀ ਹੋ ਗਈ।
48 And he seide to hir, Douytir, thi feith hath maad thee saaf; go thou in pees.
੪੮ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਬੇਟੀ, ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਨੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਚਲੀ ਜਾ।
49 And yit while he spak, a man cam fro the prince of the synagoge, and seide to hym, Thi douytir is deed, nyle thou trauel the maister.
੪੯ਉਹ ਬੋਲ ਹੀ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਘਰ ਦੇ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਦੇ ਘਰੋਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਆ ਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਤੇਰੀ ਧੀ ਮਰ ਗਈ, ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਖੇਚਲ ਨਾ ਦੇ।
50 And whanne this word was herd, Jhesus answeride to the fadir of the damysel, Nyle thou drede, but bileue thou oonli, and sche schal be saaf.
੫੦ਪਰ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਜੈਰੁਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਨਾ ਡਰ, ਕੇਵਲ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਬਚ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।
51 And whanne he cam to the hous, he suffride no man to entre with hym, but Petir and Joon and James, and the fadir and the modir of the damysel.
੫੧ਉਸ ਨੇ ਘਰ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਕੇ ਪਤਰਸ, ਯੂਹੰਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਅਤੇ ਕੁੜੀ ਦੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੋਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਅੰਦਰ ਵੜਨ ਨਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
52 And alle wepten, and biweileden hir. And he seide, Nyle ye wepe, for the damysel is not deed, but slepith.
੫੨ਅਤੇ ਸਭ ਲੋਕ ਉਸ ਕੁੜੀ ਲਈ ਰੋਂਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਪਿੱਟਦੇ ਸਨ ਪਰ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਨਾ ਰੋਵੋ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਮਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਰ ਸੁੱਤੀ ਪਈ ਹੈ।
53 And thei scorneden hym, and wisten that sche was deed.
੫੩ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੱਸਣ ਲੱਗੇ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਸਨ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਮਰੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ।
54 But he helde hir hoond, and criede, and seide, Damysel, rise vp.
੫੪ਪਰ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਹੱਥ ਫੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਉੱਚੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਨਾਲ ਕਿਹਾ, ਬੇਟੀ, ਉੱਠ!
55 And hir spirit turnede ayen, and sche roos anoon. And he comaundide to yyue to hir to ete.
੫੫ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਆਤਮਾ ਮੁੜ ਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਝੱਟ ਉੱਠ ਖੜ੍ਹੀ ਹੋਈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੁਝ ਖਾਣ ਲਈ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਏ।
56 And hir fadir and modir wondriden greetli; and he comaundide hem, that thei schulden not seie to ony that thing that was don.
੫੬ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮਾਪੇ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਰਹਿ ਗਏ, ਅਤੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਘਟਨਾ ਦੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਕੁਝ ਨਾ ਦੱਸਣ।
