Leviticus 27
1 And the Lord spak to Moises and seide, Speke thou to the sones of Israel,
L'Eternel parla aussi à Moïse, en disant:
2 and thou schalt seye to hem, A man that makith avow, and bihetith his soule to God, schal yyue the priys vndur valu, ether preisyng.
Parle aux enfants d'Israël, et leur dis: Quand quelqu'un aura fait un vœu important, les personnes [vouées] à l'Eternel [seront mises] à ton estimation.
3 If it is a male, fro the twentithe yeer `til to the sixtithe yeer, he schal yyue fifti siclis of siluer, at the mesure of seyntuarie, if it is a womman,
Et l'estimation que tu feras d'un mâle, depuis l'âge de vingt ans jusqu'à l'âge de soixante ans, sera du prix de cinquante sicles d'argent, selon le sicle du Sanctuaire.
4 sche schal yyue thretti siclis;
Mais si c'est une femme, alors ton estimation sera de trente sicles.
5 forsothe fro the fifthe yeer `til to the twentithe yeer, a male schal yyue twenti cyclis, a womman schal yyue ten ciclis;
Que si c'est d'une personne de l'âge de cinq ans jusqu'à l'âge de vingt ans, alors l'estimation que tu feras d'un mâle sera de vingt sicles; et quant à la femme, [l'estimation sera] de dix sicles.
6 fro o monethe `til to the fifthe yeer, fyue ciclis schulen be youun for a male, thre ciclis for a womman;
Et si c'est d'une personne de l'âge d'un mois jusqu'à l'âge de cinq ans, l'estimation que tu feras d'un mâle sera de cinq sicles d'argent; et l'estimation que tu feras d'une fille, sera de trois sicles d'argent.
7 a male of sixti yeer and ouer schal yyue fiftene ciclis, a womman schal yyue ten cyclis.
Et lorsque c'est d'une personne âgée de soixante ans et au-dessus, si c'est un mâle, ton estimation sera de quinze sicles; et si c'est une femme, [l'estimation sera] de dix sicles.
8 If it is a pore man, and may not yelde the valu, he schal stonde bifor the preest, and as myche as the preest preisith, and seeth that the pore man may yelde, so myche he schal yyue.
Et s'il est plus pauvre que [ne monte] ton estimation, il se présentera devant le Sacrificateur qui en fera l'estimation, et le Sacrificateur en fera l'estimation selon ce que pourra fournir celui qui a fait le vœu.
9 Forsothe if ony man avowith a beeste, that may be offrid to the Lord, it schal be hooli,
Et si c'est d'une [de ces sortes] de bêtes dont on fait offrande à l'Eternel, tout ce qui aura été donné à l'Eternel de cette sorte [de bêtes], sera saint.
10 and schal not mow be chaungid, that is, nethir a betere for `an yuel, nether `a worse for a good; and if he chaungith it, bothe that, that is chaungid, and that, for which it is chaungid, schal be halewid to the Lord.
Il ne la changera point, et n'en mettra point une autre en sa place, une bonne pour une mauvaise, ou une mauvaise pour une bonne: et s'il met en quelque sorte que ce soit une bête pour une autre bête, tant celle-là que l'autre qui aura été mise en sa place, sera sainte.
11 Sotheli if ony man avowith an vncleene beeste, that may not be offrid to the Lord, it schal be brouyt bifor the preest,
Et si c'est d'une bête souillée, dont on ne fait point offrande à l'Eternel, il présentera la bête devant le Sacrificateur,
12 and the preest schal deme whether it is good ether yuel, and schal sette the prijs;
Qui en fera l'estimation selon qu'elle sera bonne ou mauvaise; et il en sera fait ainsi, selon que toi, Sacrificateur, en auras fait l'estimation.
13 which prijs if he that offrith wole yyue, he schal adde the fifthe part ouer the valu.
Mais s'il la veut racheter en quelque sorte, il ajoutera un cinquième par dessus ton estimation.
14 If a man avowith his hows, and halewith it to the Lord, the preest schal biholde, `whether it is good ether yuel, and bi the prijs, which is ordeyned of hym, it schal be seld;
Et quand quelqu'un aura sanctifié sa maison pour être sainte à l'Eternel, le Sacrificateur l'estimera selon qu'elle sera bonne ou mauvaise; [et] on se tiendra à l'estimation que le Sacrificateur en aura faite.
15 sotheli if he that avowide wole ayen-bie it, he schal yyue the fifthe part of the valu aboue, and he schal haue the hows.
Mais si celui qui l'a sanctifiée veut racheter sa maison, il ajoutera par dessus le cinquième de l'argent de ton estimation, et elle lui demeurera.
16 That if he avowith the feeld of his possessioun, and halewith to the Lord, the prijs schal be demed bi the mesure of seed; if the feeld is sowun with thritti buyschels of barli, it schal be seeld for fifti siclys of siluer.
Et si l'homme sanctifie à l'Eternel [quelque partie] du champ de sa possession, ton estimation sera selon ce qu'on y sème; le Homer de semence d'orge sera estimé cinquante sicles d'argent.
17 If he auowith the feeld anoon for the yeer of the iubilee bigynnynge, as myche as it may be worth, bi so myche it schal be preisid;
Que s'il a sanctifié son champ dès l'année du Jubilé, on se tiendra à ton estimation.
18 but if it be after `sum part of tyme, the preest schal rykene the money bi the noumbre of yeeris that ben residue `til to the iubilee, and it schal be withdrawun of the prijs.
Mais s'il sanctifie son champ après le Jubilé, le Sacrificateur lui mettra en compte l'argent selon le nombre des années qui restent jusqu'à l'année du Jubilé, et cela sera rabattu de ton estimation.
19 That if he that avowide wole ayenbie the feeld, he schal adde the fyuethe part of the money preisid, and he schal welde it;
Et si celui qui a sanctifié le champ, le veut racheter en quelque sorte que ce soit, il ajoutera par dessus le cinquième de l'argent de ton estimation, et il lui demeurera.
20 but if he nyle ayenbie, but it is seeld to ony othir man, he that avowide schal `no more mowe ayenbie it;
Mais s'il ne rachète point le champ, et que le champ se vende à un autre homme, il ne se rachètera plus.
21 for whanne the dai of iubilee cometh, it schal be halewid to the Lord, and the possessioun halewid perteyneth to the riyt of preestis.
Et ce champ-là ayant passé le Jubilé, sera saint à l'Eternel, comme un champ d'interdit, la possession en sera au Sacrificateur.
22 If the feeld is bouyt, and is not of the possessioun of grettere men,
Et s'il sanctifie à l'Eternel un champ qu'il ait acheté, n'étant point des champs de sa possession;
23 and is halewid to the Lord, the preest schal determyne the prijs bi the noumbre of yeeris `til to the iubilee, and he that avowide the feeld schal yyue the prijs to the Lord;
Le Sacrificateur lui comptera la somme de ton estimation jusqu'à l'année du Jubilé, et il donnera en ce jour-là ton estimation, [afin que ce soit] une chose sainte à l'Eternel.
24 forsothe in the iubilee it schal turne ayen to the formere lord that seelde it, and `haue he in to the eritage of his possessioun.
Mais en l'année du Jubilé le champ retournera à celui duquel il l'avait acheté, [et] auquel était la possession du fond.
25 `Ech preisyng schal be peisid bi the sicle of seyntuarie; a sicle hath twenti halpens.
Et toute estimation que tu auras faite, sera selon le sicle du Sanctuaire; le sicle est de vingt oboles.
26 No man may halewe and avowe the firste gendrid thingis that perteynen to the Lord, whether it is oxe, whether scheep, tho ben the Lordis part.
Toutefois nul ne [pourra] sanctifier le premier-né d'entre les bêtes, car il appartient à l'Eternel par droit de primogéniture, soit de vache, soit de brebis, ou de chèvre, il est à l'Eternel.
27 That if the beeste is vncleene, he that offride schal ayenbie by his valu, and he schal adde the fyuethe part of prijs; if he nyle ayenbie, it schal be seeld to another man, as myche euer as it is `set at valu.
Mais s'il est de bêtes souillées, il le rachètera selon ton estimation, et il ajoutera à ton estimation un cinquième; et s'il n'est point racheté, il sera vendu selon ton estimation.
28 Al thing which is halewid to the Lord, whether it is man, whether beeste, whether feeld, it schal not be seeld, nether it schal mow be ayenbouyt; whateuer thing is halewid onys, it schal be hooli of the noumbre of hooli thingis to the Lord,
Or nul interdit que quelqu'un aura dévoué à l'Eternel par interdit, de tout ce qui est sien, soit homme, ou bête, ou champ de sa possession, ne se vendra, ni ne se rachètera; tout interdit sera très-saint à l'Eternel.
29 and ech halewyng which is offrid of man, schal not be ayenbouyt, but it schal die bi deeth.
Nul interdit dévoué par interdit d'entre les hommes, ne se rachètera, mais on le fera mourir de mort.
30 Alle the tithis of erthe, whether of fruytis, whether of applis of trees, ben the Lordis part, and ben halewid to hym;
Or toute dîme de la terre, tant du grain de la terre que du fruit des arbres, est à l'Eternel; c'est une sainteté à l'Eternel.
31 sotheli if ony man wole ayenbie hise tithis, he schal adde the fyuethe part of tho; of alle tithis,
Mais si quelqu'un veut racheter en quelque sorte que ce soit quelque chose de sa dîme, il y ajoutera le cinquième par dessus.
32 of scheep, and of oxen, and of geet, that passen vndur the `yerde of scheepherde, whateuer thing cometh to the tenthe part, it schal be halewid to the Lord;
Mais toute dîme de bœufs, de brebis et de chèvres, [savoir] tout ce qui passe sous la verge, qui est le dixième, sera sanctifié à l'Eternel.
33 it schal not be chosun, nether good, nether yuel; nethir it schal be chaungid for another; if ony man chaungith, bothe that, that is chaungid, and that, for which it is chaungid, schal be halewid to the Lord, and it schal not be ayenbouyt.
n ne choisira point le bon ou le mauvais, et on n'en mettra point d'autre en sa place; que si on le fait en quelque sorte que ce soit, la bête changée et l'autre qui aura été mise en sa place, sera sanctifiée, [et] ne sera point rachetée.
34 These ben the comaundementis whiche the Lord comaundide to Moises, and to the sones of Israel, in the hil of Synay.
Ce sont là les commandements que l'Eternel donna à Moïse sur la montagne de Sinaï, pour les enfants d'Israël.
