Leviticus 26
1 Y am youre Lord God; ye schulen not make to you an ydol, and a grauun ymage, nether ye schulen reise titlis, nether ye schulen sette a noble stoon in youre lond, that ye worschipe it; for Y am youre Lord God.
I skolen icke göra eder några av gudar, ej heller uppresa åt eder något beläte eller någon stod, eller uppsätta i edert land stenar med inhuggna bilder, för att tillbedja vid dem; ty jag är HERREN, eder Gud.
2 Kepe ye my sabatis, and drede ye at my seyntuarie; Y am the Lord.
Mina sabbater skolen I hålla, och för min helgedom skolen I hava fruktan. Jag är HERREN.
3 If ye gon in myn heestis, and kepen my comaundementis, and doon tho, Y schal yyue to you reynes in her tymes,
Om I vandren efter mina stadgar och hållen mina bud och gören efter dem,
4 and the erthe schal brynge forth his fruyt, and trees schulen be fillid with applis;
så skall jag giva eder regn i rätt tid, så att jorden giver sin gröda och träden på marken bära sin frukt.
5 the threschyng of ripe cornes schal take vyndage, and vyndage schal occupie seed, and ye schulen ete youre breed in fulnesse, and ye schulen dwelle in youre lond without drede.
Och trösktiden skall hos eder räcka intill vinbärgningen, och vinbärgningen skall räcka intill såningstiden, och I skolen hava bröd nog att äta och skolen bo trygga i edert land.
6 Y schal yyue pees in youre coostis; ye schulen slepe, and noon schal be that schal make you aferd; Y schal do awei yuel beestis fro you, and a swerd schal not passe bi youre termes.
Och jag skall skaffa frid i landet, och I skolen få ro, och ingen skall förskräcka eder. Jag skall göra slut på vilddjuren i landet, och intet svärd skall gå fram genom edert land.
7 Ye schulen pursue youre enemyes, and thei schulen falle bifor you;
I skolen jaga edra fiender framför eder, och de skola falla för edra svärd.
8 fyue of youre men schulen pursue an hundrid aliens, and an hundrid of you schulen pursue ten thousande; youre enemyes schulen falle bi swerd in youre siyt.
Fem av eder skola jaga hundra framför sig, och hundra av eder skola jaga tiotusen, och edra fiender skola falla för edra svärd.
9 Y schal biholde you, and Y schal make you to encreesse; ye schulen be multiplied; and Y schal make stedfast my couenaunt with you;
Och jag skall vända mig till eder och göra eder fruktsamma och för öka eder, och jag skall upprätthålla mitt förbund med eder.
10 ye schulen ete the eldest of elde thingis, and ye schulen caste forth elde thingis, whanne newe thingis schulen come aboue;
Och gammal gröda, som länge har legat inne, skolen I hava att äta; I skolen nödgas skaffa den gamla undan för den nya.
11 Y schal sette my tabernacle in the myddis of you, and my soule schal not caste you awey;
Och jag skall uppresa min boning mitt ibland eder, och min själ skall icke försmå eder.
12 Y schal go among you, and Y schal be youre God, and ye schulen be a puple to me.
Jag skall vandra mitt ibland eder och vara eder Gud, och I skolen vara mitt folk.
13 Y am youre Lord God, that ledde you out of the lond of Egipcians, that ye schulden not serue hem, and which haue broke the chaynes of youre nollis, that ye schulde go vpriyt.
Jag är HERREN, eder Gud, som förde eder ut ur Egyptens land, för att I icke skullen vara trälar där; och jag har brutit sönder edert ok och låtit eder gå med upprätt huvud.
14 That if ye heren not me, nether doon alle myn heestis,
Men om I icke hören mig och icke gören efter alla dessa bud,
15 and if ye forsaken my lawis, and despisen my domes, that ye doon not tho thingis that ben ordeyned of me, and that ye brengen my couenaunt to auoydyng, also Y schal do these thingis to you;
om I förkasten mina stadgar, och om edra själar försmå mina rätter, så att I icke gören efter alla mina bud, utan bryten mitt förbund,
16 Y schal visyte you swiftly in nedynesse and brennyng, which schal turment youre iyen, and schal waste youre lyues; in veyn ye schulen sowe seed, that schal be deuourid of enemyes;
då skall ock jag handla på samma sätt mot eder: jag skall hemsöka eder med förskräckliga olyckor, med tärande sjukdom och feber, så att edra ögon försmäkta och eder själ förtvinar; och I skolen förgäves så eder säd, ty edra fiender skola äta den.
17 Y schal sette my face ayens you, and ye schulen falle bifor youre enemyes, and ye schulen be sugetis to hem that haten you; ye schulen fle, while no man pursueth.
Jag skall vända mitt ansikte mot eder, och I skolen bliva slagna av edra fiender; och de som hata eder skola råda över eder, och I skolen fly, om ock ingen förföljer eder.
18 But if nether so ye obeyen to me, Y schal adde youre chastisyngis seuenfold for youre synnes;
Om I, detta oaktat, icke hören mig, så skall jag tukta eder sjufalt värre för edra synders skull.
19 and Y schal al tobreke the pride of youre hardnesse, and Y schal yyue to you heuene aboue as of yrun, and the erthe as bras;
Jag skall krossa eder stolta makt. Jag skall låta eder himmel bliva såsom järn och eder jord såsom koppar.
20 youre trauel schal be wastid in veyn, nether the erthe schal brynge forth fruyt, nethir trees schulen yyue applis.
Och eder möda skall vara förspilld, ty eder jord skall icke giva sin gröda, och träden i landet skola icke bära sin frukt.
21 If ye goon contrarie to me, nether wolen here me, Y schal adde youre woundis til in to seuenfold for youre synnes;
Om I ändå vandren mig emot och icke viljen höra mig, så skall jag slå eder sjufalt värre, såsom edra synder förtjäna.
22 Y schal sende out in to you cruel beestis of the feeld, that schulen waste you and youre beestis, and schulen brynge alle thingis to fewnesse, and youre weies schulen be forsakun.
Jag skall sända över eder vilddjur, som skola döda edra barn och fördärva eder boskap och minska edert eget antal, så att edra vägar bliva öde.
23 That if nether so ye wolen resseyue doctryn, but goon contrarie to me,
Om I, detta oaktat, icke låten varna eder av mig, utan vandren mig emot,
24 also Y schal go aduersarie ayens you, and Y schal smyte you seuen sithis for youre synnes;
så skall också jag vandra eder emot och slå eder sjufalt för edra synders skull.
25 and Y schal brynge yn on you the swerd, vengere of my boond of pees; and whanne ye fleen in to citees, Y schal sende pestilence in the myddis of you, and ye schulen be bitakun in the hondis of enemyes,
Jag skall låta eder drabbas av ett hämndesvärd, som skall hämnas mitt förbund, och I skolen nödgas församla eder i städerna; men där skall jag sända pest bland eder, och I skolen bliva givna i fiendehand.
26 aftir that Y haue broke the staf of youre breed, so that ten wymmen bake looues in oon ouene, and yelde tho looues at weiyte; and ye schulen ete, and ye schulen not be fillid.
Jag skall så fördärva edert livsuppehälle, att edert bröd skall kunna bakas i en enda ugn av tio kvinnor, och edert bröd skall lämnas ut efter vikt, och när I äten, skolen I icke bliva mätta.
27 But if nethir bi these thingis ye heren me, but goon ayens me,
Om I, detta oaktat, icke hören mig, utan vandren mig emot,
28 and Y schal go ayens you in contrarie woodnesse, and Y schal chastise you bi seuene veniaunces for youre synnes,
så skall också jag i vrede vandra eder emot och tukta eder sjufalt för edra synders skull.
29 so that ye ete the fleischis of youre sones, and of youre douytris;
I skolen nödgas äta edra söners kött och äta edra döttrars kött.
30 Y schal destrie youre hiye thingis, and Y schal breke youre symylacris; ye schulen falle bitwixe the fallyngis of your ydols, and my soule schal haue you abhomynable,
Jag skall ödelägga edra offerhöjder och utrota edra solstoder; jag skall kasta edra döda kroppar på edra eländiga avgudars döda kroppar, ty min själ skall försmå eder.
31 in so myche that Y turne youre citees in to wildirnesse, and make youre seyntuaries forsakun, nether Y schal resseyue more the swettest odour;
Och jag skall göra edra städer till ruiner och föröda edra helgedomar, och jag skall icke mer med välbehag känna lukten av edra offer.
32 and Y schal destrye youre lond, and youre enemyes schulen be astonyed theronne, whanne thei schulen be enhabiters therof;
Jag skall själv ödelägga landet, så att edra fiender, som bo däri, skola häpna däröver.
33 forsothe Y schal scatere you in to folkis, ether hethen men, and Y schal drawe out of the schethe the swerd aftir you, and youre lond schal be forsakun, and youre citees schulen be cast doun.
Men eder skall jag förströ bland hedningarna, och jag skall förfölja eder med draget svärd; så skall edert land bliva en ödemark, och edra städer skola bliva ruiner.
34 Thanne `hise sabatis schulen plese the erthe, in alle the daies of his wildirnesse; whanne ye ben in the lond of enemyes,
Då skall landet få gottgörelse för sina sabbater, då, under hela den tid det ligger öde och I ären i edra fienders land. Ja, då skall landet hålla sabbat och giva gottgörelse för sina sabbater.
35 it schal `kepe sabat, and schal reste in the sabatis of his wildirnesse, for it restide not in youre sabatis, whanne ye dwelliden therynne.
Hela den tid det ligger öde skall det hålla sabbat och få den vila det icke fick på edra sabbater, då I bodden däri.
36 And Y schal yyue drede in `the hertis of hem, whiche schulen abide of you, in the cuntreis of enemyes; the sown of a leef fleynge schal make hem aferd, and so thei schulen fle it as a swerd; thei schulen falle, while noon pursueth,
Och åt dem som bliva kvar av eder skall jag giva försagda hjärtan i deras fienders länder, så att de jagas på flykten av ett prasslande löv som röres av vinden, och fly, såsom flydde de för svärd, och falla, om ock ingen förföljer dem.
37 and alle schulen falle on her britheren, as fleynge bateils; no man of you schal be hardi to ayenstonde enemyes;
Och de skola stupa på varandra, likasom för svärd, om ock ingen förföljer dem. Ja, I skolen icke kunna hålla stånd mot edra fiender.
38 ye schulen perische among hethen men, and the lond of enemyes schal waaste you.
I skolen förgås bland hedningarna, och edra fienders land skall förtära eder.
39 That if summe of these Jewes dwellen, thei schulen faile in her wickidnessis, in the lond of her enemyes, and thei schulen be turmentid for the synne of her fadris,
Och de som bliva kvar av eder skola försmäkta i edra fienders land, genom sin egen missgärning, och försmäkta tillika genom sina fäders missgärning, likasom dessa hava gjort.
40 and for her owne synnes, til thei knoulechen her wickidnesses, and han mynde of her yuels, bi whiche thei trespassiden ayens me, and yeden contrarie to me.
Och de skola nödgas bekänna den missgärning de själva hava begått, och den deras fäder hava begått, genom att handla trolöst mot mig, och huru de hava vandrat mig emot
41 Therfor and Y schal go ayens hem, and Y schal brynge hem in to the lond of enemyes, til the vncircumcidid soule of hem be aschamed; thanne thei schulen preie for her wickidnesses,
-- varför också jag måste vandra dem emot och föra dem bort i deras fienders land -- ja, då skola deras oomskurna hjärtan nödgas ödmjuka sig, då skola de få umgälla sin missgärning.
42 and Y schal haue mynde of my boond of pees, which Y couenauntide with Jacob, Ysaac, and Abraham; also Y schal be myndeful of the lond,
Och då skall jag tänka på mitt förbund med Jakob, då skall jag ock tänka på mitt förbund med Isak och på mitt förbund med Abraham, och på landet skall jag tänka.
43 which, whanne it is left of hem, schal plese to it silf in `his sabatis, and schal suffre wildirnesse for hem; forsothe thei schulen preye for her synnes, for thei castiden awey my domes, and despyseden my lawis;
Ty landet måste bliva övergivet av dem och så få gottgörelse för sina sabbater genom att bliva öde när folket är borta, och själva skola de få umgälla sin missgärning, därför, ja, därför att de förkastade mina rätter, och därför att deras själar försmådde mina stadgar.
44 netheles, yhe, whanne thei weren in `the lond of enemyes, Y castide not hem awey outirli, nether Y dispiside hem, so that thei weren wastid, and that Y made voide my couenaunt with hem; for Y am the Lord God of hem.
Men detta oaktat skall jag, medan de äro i sina fienders land, icke så förkasta eller försmå dem, att jag förgör dem och bryter mitt förbund med dem; ty jag är HERREN, deras Gud.
45 And Y schal haue mynde of my formere boond of pees, whanne Y ledde hem out of the lond of Egipt, in the siyt of hethene men, that Y schulde be her God; Y am the Lord God.
Nej, till fromma för dem skall jag tänka på förbundet med förfäderna, som jag förde ut ur Egyptens land, inför hedningarnas ögon, på det att jag skulle vara deras Gud. Jag är HERREN.
46 These ben the comaundementis, and domes, and lawis, whiche the Lord yaf bitwixe hym silf and bitwixe the sones of Israel, in the hil of Synay, bi the hond of Moises.
Dessa äro de stadgar och rätter och lagar som HERREN fastställde mellan sig och Israels barn, på Sinai berg genom Mose.
