Leviticus 25
1 And the Lord spak to Moises in the hil of Synai,
Verder sprak de HEERE tot Mozes, aan den berg Sinai, zeggende:
2 and seide, Speke thou to the sones of Israel, and thou schalt seye to hem, Whanne ye han entrid in to the lond which Y schal yyue to you, `the erthe kepe the sabat of the Lord;
Spreek tot de kinderen Israels, en zeg tot hen: Wanneer gij zult gekomen zijn in dat land, dat Ik u geve, dan zal dat land rusten, een sabbat den HEERE.
3 sixe yeeris thou schalt sowe thi feeld, and sixe yeeris thou schalt kitte thi vyner, and thou schalt gadere the fruytis ther of;
Zes jaren zult gij uw akker bezaaien, en zes jaren uw wijngaard besnijden, en de inkomst daarvan inzamelen.
4 forsothe in the seuenthe yeer schal be sabat of the erthe of the restyng of the Lord;
Doch in het zevende jaar zal voor het land een sabbat der rust zijn, een sabbat den HEERE; uw akker zult gij niet bezaaien en uw wijngaard niet besnijden.
5 thou schalt not sowe the feeld, and thou schalt not kitte the vyner, thou schalt not repe tho thingis whiche the erthe bryngith forth `bi fre wille, and thou schalt not gadere the grapis of thi firste fruytis, as vyndage; for it is the yeer of restyng of the lond; but tho schulen be to you in to mete,
Wat van zelf van uw oogst zal gewassen zijn, zult gij niet inoogsten, en de druiven uwer afzondering zult gij niet afsnijden; het zal een jaar der ruste voor het land zijn.
6 to thee, and to thi seruaunt, to thin handmaide, and to thin hirid man, and to the comelyng which is a pilgrym at thee; alle thingis that `comen forth,
En de inkomst van den sabbat des lands zal voor u tot spijze zijn, voor u, en voor uw knecht, en voor uw dienstmaagd, en voor uw dagloner, en voor uw bijwoner, die bij u als vreemdelingen verkeren;
7 schulen yyue mete to thi werk beestis and smale beestis.
Mitsgaders voor het vee, en voor het gedierte, dat in uw land is, zal al de inkomst daarvan tot spijze zijn.
8 Also thou schalt noumbre to thee seuene woukis of yeeris, that is, seuene sithes seuene, whiche togidere maken nyn and fourti yeer;
Gij zult u ook tellen zeven jaarweken, zevenmaal zeven jaren; zodat de dagen der zeven jaarweken u negen en veertig jaren zullen zijn.
9 and thou schalt sowne with a clarioun in the seuenthe monethe, in the tenthe dai of the monethe, in the tyme of propiciacioun, `that is, merci, in al youre lond.
Daarna zult gij in de zevende maand, op den tienden der maand, de bazuin des geklanks doen doorgaan; op den verzoendag zult gij de bazuin doen doorgaan in uw ganse land.
10 And thou schalt halewe the fiftithe yeer, and thou schalt clepe remissioun to alle the dwellers of thi lond; for thilke yeer is iubilee; a man schal turne ayen to hys possessioun, and ech man schal go ayen to the firste meynee,
En gij zult dat vijftigste jaar heiligen, en vrijheid uitroepen in het land, voor al zijn inwoners; het zal u een jubeljaar zijn; en gij zult wederkeren een ieder tot zijn bezittingen, en zult wederkeren een ieder tot zijn geslacht.
11 for it is iubilee, and the fiftithe yeer. Ye schulen not sowe, nether ye schulen repe thingis, that comen forth freli in the feeld, and ye schulen not gadere the firste fruytis of vyndage, for the halewyng of iubilee;
Dit jubeljaar zal u het vijftigste jaar zijn; gij zult niet zaaien, noch inoogsten wat van zelf daarin zal gewassen zijn, noch ook de druiven der afzonderingen in hetzelve afsnijden.
12 but anoon ye schulen ete thingis takun awey;
Want dat is het jubeljaar; het zal u heilig zijn; gij zult uit het veld de inkomst daarvan eten.
13 in the yeer of iubilee alle men go ayen to her possessiouns.
Op dat jubeljaar zult gij ieder wederkeren tot zijn bezitting.
14 Whanne thou schalt sille ony thing to thi citeseyn, ether schalt bie of hym, make thou not sory thi brother, but bi the noumbre of `yeeris of iubile thou schalt bie of him,
Daarom, wanneer gij aan uw naaste wat veilbaars verkopen, of uit de hand uws naasten kopen zult, dat niemand de een den ander verdrukke.
15 and bi the rekenyng of fruytis he schal sille to thee.
Naar het getal der jaren, van het jubeljaar af, zult gij van uw naaste kopen, en naar het getal van de jaren der inkomsten zal hij het aan u verkopen.
16 Bi as myche as mo yeeris dwellen after the iubilee, by so myche also the prijs schal encreesse, and bi as myche as thou noumbrist lesse of tyme, bi so myche and the biyng schal cost lesse; for he schal sille to thee the time of fruytis.
Naar de veelheid der jaren zult gij zijn koop vermeerderen, en naar de weinigheid der jaren zult gij zijn koop verminderen; want hij verkoopt aan u het getal der inkomsten.
17 Nyle ye turment men of youre lynagis, but ech man drede his God; for Y am youre Lord God.
Dat dan niemand zijn naaste verdrukke; maar vreest voor uw God; want Ik ben de HEERE, uw God!
18 Do ye my comaundementis, and kepe ye my domes, and fille ye tho, that ye moun dwelle in his lond without ony drede,
En doet Mijn inzettingen, en houdt Mijn rechten, en doet dezelve; zo zult gij zeker wonen in het land.
19 and that the erthe brynge forth hise fruytis to you, whiche ye schulen ete `til to fulnesse, and drede not the assailyng of ony man.
En het land zal zijn vrucht geven, en gij zult eten tot verzadiging toe; en gij zult zeker daarin wonen.
20 That if ye seien, what schulen we ete in the seuenthe yeer, if we sowen not, nether gaderen oure fruytis?
En als gij zoudt zeggen: Wat zullen wij eten in het zevende jaar! Ziet, wij zullen niet zaaien, en onze inkomst niet inzamelen;
21 Y schal yyue my blessyng to you in the sixte yeer, and it schal make fruytis of three yeer;
Zo zal Ik Mijn zegen gebieden over u in het zesde jaar, dat het de inkomst voor drie jaren zal voortbrengen.
22 and ye schulen sowe in the eiyte yeer, and ye schulen ete elde fruytis `til to the nynthe yeer; til newe thingis comen forth ye schulen ete the elde thingis.
Het achtste jaar nu zult gij zaaien, en zult van de oude inkomst eten, tot het negende jaar toe; totdat zijn inkomst ingekomen is, zult gij het oude eten.
23 Also the lond schal not be seeld `in to with outen ende, for it is myn, and ye ben my comelyngis and tenauntis;
Het land ook zal niet voor altoos verkocht worden; want het land is het Mijne, dewijl gij vreemdelingen en bijwoners bij Mij zijt.
24 wherfor al the cuntre of youre possessioun schal be seeld vndur the condicioun of ayenbiyng.
Daarom zult gij, in het ganse land uwer bezitting, lossing voor het land toelaten.
25 If thi brother is maad pore, and sillith his litil possessioun, and his nyy kynesman wole, he may ayenbie that that he seelde;
Wanneer uw broeder zal verarmd zijn, en iets van zijn bezitting verkocht zal hebben, zo zal zijn losser, die hem nabestaande is, komen, en zal het verkochte zijns broeders lossen.
26 sotheli if he hath no nyy kynesman, and he may fynde prijs to ayenbie,
En wanneer iemand geen losser zal hebben, maar zijn hand bekomen en hij gevonden zal hebben, zoveel genoeg is tot zijn lossing;
27 the fruytis schulen be rekynyd fro that tyme in which he seelde, and he schal yelde `that that is residue to the biere, and he schal resseyue so his possessioun.
Dan zal hij de jaren zijner verkoping rekenen, en het overschot zal hij den man, wien hij het verkocht had, weder uitkeren; en hij zal weder tot zijn bezitting komen.
28 That if his hond fynde not, that he yelde the prijs, the biere schal haue that that he bouyte, `til to the yeer of iubilee; for in that yeer ech sillyng schal go ayen to the lord, and to the firste weldere.
Maar indien zijn hand niet gevonden heeft, wat genoeg is, om aan hem weder uit te keren, zo zal zijn verkochte goed zijn in de hand van deszelfs koper tot het jubeljaar toe; maar in het jubeljaar zal het uitgaan, en hij zal tot zijn bezitting wederkeren.
29 He that sillith his hows, with ynne the wallis of a citee, schal haue licence to ayenbie til o yeer be fillid;
Insgelijks, wanneer iemand een woonhuis in een bemuurde stad zal verkocht hebben, zo zal zijn lossing zijn, totdat het jaar zijner verkoping volkomen zal zijn; in een vol jaar zal zijn lossing wezen.
30 if he ayenbieth not, and the sercle of the yeer is passid, the biere schal welde it, and his eiris `in to with outen ende, and it schal not mow be ayenbouyt, ye, in the iubilee.
Maar is het, dat het niet gelost wordt, tegen dat hem het gehele jaar zal vervuld zijn, zo zal dat huis, hetwelk in die stad is, die een muur heeft, voor altoos blijven aan hem, die dat gekocht heeft, onder zijn geslachten; het zal in het jubeljaar niet uitgaan.
31 Forsothe if the hows is in a town `that hath not wallis, it schal be seeld bi the lawe of feeldis; sotheli if it is not ayenbouyt in the iubilee, it schal turne ayen to `his lord.
Doch de huizen der dorpen, die rondom geen muur hebben, zullen als het veld des lands gerekend worden; daarvoor zal lossing zijn, en zij zullen in het jubeljaar uitgaan.
32 The howsis of dekenes, that ben in citees, moun euer be ayenbouyt; if tho ben not ayenbouyt,
Aangaande de steden der Levieten, en de huizen der steden hunner bezitting; de Levieten zullen een eeuwige lossing hebben.
33 tho schulen turne ayen in the iubilee `to the lordis; for the `howsis of the citees of dekenes ben for possessiouns among the sones of Israel;
En als men onder de Levieten lossing zal gedaan hebben, zo zal de koop van het huis en van de stad zijner bezitting in het jubeljaar uitgaan; want de huizen van de steden der Levieten zijn hun bezitting in het midden van de kinderen Israels.
34 forsothe the suburbabis of hem schulen not be seeld, for it is euerlastynge possessioun.
Doch het veld van de voorstad hunner steden zal niet verkocht worden; want het is een eeuwige bezitting voor hen.
35 If thi brother is maad pore, and feble in power, and thou resseyuest hym as a comelyng and pilgrym, and he lyueth with thee,
En als uw broeder zal verarmd zijn, en zijn hand bij u wankelen zal, zo zult gij hem vasthouden, zelfs een vreemdeling en bijwoner, opdat hij bij u leve.
36 take thou not vsuris of hym, nether more than thou hast youe; drede thou thi God, that thi brothir mai lyue anentis thee.
Gij zult geen woeker noch overwinst van hem nemen; maar gij zult vrezen voor uw God, opdat uw broeder bij u leve.
37 Thou schalt not yyue to hym thi money to vsure, and thou schalt not axe ouer `aboundaunce, ether encrees ouer of fruytis;
Uw geld zult gij hem niet op woeker geven, en gij zult uw spijze niet op overwinst geven.
38 Y am youre Lord God, that ladde you out of the lond of Egipt, that Y schulde yyue to you the lond of Canaan, and that Y schulde be youre God.
Ik ben de HEERE, uw God, Die u uit Egypteland gevoerd heb, om u het land Kanaan te geven, opdat Ik u tot een God zij.
39 If thi brother compellid bi pouert sillith hym silf to thee, thou schalt not oppresse hym bi seruage of seruauntis,
Desgelijks, wanneer uw broeder bij u zal verarmd zijn, en zich aan u verkocht zal hebben, gij zult hem niet doen dienen den dienst van een slaaf;
40 but he schal be as an hirid man and tenaunt; `til to the yeer of iubilee he schal worche at thee,
Als een dagloner, als een bijwoner zal hij bij u zijn; tot het jubeljaar zal hij bij u dienen.
41 and aftirward he schal go out with his fre children, and he schal turne ayen to the kynrede, and to `the possessioun of his fadris.
Dan zal hij van u uitgaan, hij en zijn kinderen met hem, en hij zal tot zijn geslacht wederkeren, en tot de bezitting zijner vaderen wederkeren.
42 For thei ben my seruauntis, and Y ledde hem out of the lond of Egipt; thei schulen not be seeld bi the condicioun of seruauntis;
Want zij zijn Mijn dienstknechten, die Ik uit Egypteland uitgevoerd heb; zij zullen niet verkocht worden, gelijk men een slaaf verkoopt.
43 turmente thou not hem bi thi power, but drede thou thi Lord.
Gij zult geen heerschappij over hem hebben met wreedheid; maar gij zult vrezen voor uw God.
44 A seruaunt and handmaide be to you of naciouns that ben in youre cumpas,
Aangaande uw slaaf of uw slavin, die gij zult hebben, die zullen van de volken zijn, die rondom u zijn; van die zult gij een slaaf of een slavin kopen.
45 and of comelyngis that ben pilgrimys at you, ether thei that ben borun of hem in youre lond; ye schulen haue these seruauntis,
Gij zult ze ook kopen van de kinderen der bijwoners, die bij u als vreemdelingen verkeren, uit hen en uit hun geslachten, die bij u zullen zijn, die zij in uw land zullen gewonnen hebben; en zij zullen u tot een bezitting zijn.
46 and bi riyt of eritage ye schulen `sende ouer to aftir comeris, and ye schulen welde with outen ende; sothely oppresse ye not bi power youre britheren, the sones of Israel.
En gij zult u tot bezitters over hen stellen voor uw kinderen na u, opdat zij de bezitting erven; gij zult hen in eeuwigheid doen dienen; maar over uw broeders, de kinderen Israels, een iegelijk over zijn broeder, gij zult over hem geen heerschappij hebben met wreedheid.
47 If the hond of a comelyng and of a pilgrim wexith strong at you, and thi brother is maad pore, and sillith hym silf to hym,
En wanneer de hand eens vreemdelings en bijwoners, die bij u is, wat bekomen zal hebben, en uw broeder, die bij hem is, verarmd zal zijn, dat hij zich aan den vreemdeling, den bijwoner, die bij u is, of aan den stam van het geslacht des vreemdelings zal verkocht hebben;
48 ether to ony of his kyn, he may be ayenbouyt aftir the sillyng; he that wole of hise britheren, ayenbie hym; bothe `the brother of fadir,
Nadat hij zich zal verkocht hebben, zal er lossing voor hem zijn; een van zijn broeders zal hem lossen;
49 and the sone of `the fadris brother, and kynesman, and alye. Ellis if also he schal mow, he schal ayenbie hym silf,
Of zijn oom, of de zoon zijns ooms, zal hem lossen, of die uit de naasten zijns vleses van zijn geslacht is, zal hem lossen; of heeft zijn hand wat bekomen, dat hij zichzelven losse.
50 while the yeeris ben rykenid oneli fro the tyme of his sillyng `til in to the yeer of iubylee; and while the money, for which he was seeld, is rikenyd bi the noumbre of yeeris, and while the hire of an hirid man is rikenyd.
En hij zal met zijn koper rekenen van dat jaar af, dat hij zich aan hem verkocht heeft tot het jubeljaar toe; alzo dat het geld zijner verkoping zal zijn naar het getal van de jaren, naar de dagen eens dagloners zal het met hem zijn.
51 If mo yeeris ben that dwellen `til to the iubilee, bi these yeeris he schal yelde also the prijs; if fewe yeeris ben,
Indien nog vele van die jaren zijn, naar die zal hij tot zijn lossing van het geld, waarover hij gekocht is, wedergeven.
52 he schal sette rikenyng with hym bi the noumbre of yeeris;
En indien er nog weinige van die jaren overgebleven zijn, tot aan het jubeljaar, zo zal hij met hem rekenen; naar zijn jaren zal hij zijn lossing wedergeven.
53 and he schal yeelde to the biere that that is residue of yeeris, while tho yeeris, bi whiche he seruyde bifore, ben rikenyd for hiris; he schal not turmente `that Ebreu violentli in thi siyt.
Als een dagloner zal hij van jaar tot jaar bij hem zijn; men zal over hem geen heerschappij hebben met wreedheid voor uw ogen.
54 That if he may not be ayenbouyt bi this, he schal go out with his free children in the `yeer of iubilee; for the sones of Israel ben myn seruauntis,
En is het, dat hij hierdoor niet gelost wordt, zo zal hij in het jubeljaar uitgaan, hij en zijn kinderen met hem.
55 whiche Y ledde out of the lond of Egipt.
Want de kinderen Israels zijn Mij tot dienstknechten; Mijn dienstknechten zijn zij, die Ik uit Egypteland uitgevoerd heb; Ik ben de HEERE, uw God!
