Leviticus 24
1 And the Lord spak to Moises, and seide, Comaunde thou to the sones of Israel,
Господ говори още на Моисея, казвайки:
2 that thei brynge to thee oile of olyues, pureste oile, and briyt, to the lanternes to be ordeyned contynueli with out the veil of witnessyng,
Заповядай на израилтяните да ти донесат първоток чисто дървено масло за осветление, за да свети постоянно светило.
3 in the tabernacle of boond of pees; and Aaron schal araye tho lanternes fro euentid `til to euentid bifor the Lord, bi religioun and custom euerlastynge in youre generaciouns;
Аарон да го приготвя отвън завесата, която е пред плочите на свидетелството в шатъра за срещане, за да свети от вечер до заран пред Господа винаги; това да бъде вечен закон във всичките ви поколения.
4 tho schulen be set euere on a clenneste candilstike in the siyt of the Lord.
На чистозлатния светилник да приготвя светилата пред Господа винаги.
5 Also thou schalt take wheete flour, and thou schalt bake therof twelue looues, which schulen haue ech bi hem silf twei tenthe partis,
И да вземеш чисто брашно, от което да опечеш дванадесет пити; всяка пита да бъде две десети от ефа.
6 of whiche thou schalt sette sexe on euer eithir side, on a clenneste boord bifor the Lord;
И да ги сложиш на два реда, по шест на всеки ред, върху чистозлатната трапеза пред Господа.
7 and thou schalt sette clereste encense on tho looues, that the looues be in to mynde of offryng of the Lord;
И на всеки ред да туриш чист ливан; и това ще бъде върху хляба за спомен в принос чрез огън Господу.
8 bi ech sabat tho schulen be chaungid bifor the Lord, and schulen be takun of the sones of Israel bi euerlastynge boond of pees;
Всеки съботен ден свещеникът да слага това винаги пред Господа; това е от страна на израилтяните вечен завет.
9 and tho schulen be Aarons and hise sones, that thei ete tho in the hooli place, for it is hooli of the noumbre of hooli thingis, of the sacrifices of the Lord, bi euerlastynge lawe.
И те ще бъдат за Аарона и за синовете му, които да ги ядат на свето място; защото са пресвети нему от жертвите принасяни чрез огън Господу; това е вечен закон.
10 Lo! forsothe the sone of a womman of Israel, whom sche childide of a man Egipcian, yede out among the sones of Israel, and chidde in the castels with a man of Israel,
И синът на една израилтянка, на когото бащата беше египтянин, излезе между израилтяните; и синът на израилтянката и един израилтянин се караха в стана.
11 and whanne he hadde blasfemyd the name of the Lord, and hadde cursid the Lord, he was brouyt to Moises; forsothe his modir was clepid Salumyth, the douytir of Dabry, of the lynage of Dan;
И синът на израилтянката похули Господното Име и прокле. И доведоха го при Моисея. (А името на майка му беше Саломита, дъщеря на Даврия, от Дановото племе).
12 and thei senten hym to prisoun, til thei wisten what the Lord comaundide.
И туриха го под стража, догде им се обяви от Господа, какво да му сторят.
13 And the Lord spak to Moises and seide,
И Господ говори на Моисея, казвайки:
14 Lede out the blasfemere without the castels, and alle men that herden, sette her hondis on his heed, and al the puple stone hym.
Изведи вън от стана онзи, който прокле; и всички, които са го чули, нека турят ръцете си на главата му, и цялото общество нека го убие с камъни.
15 And thou schalt speke to the sones of Israel, A man that cursith his God,
И говори на израилтяните, като речеш: Който прокълне своя Бог ще носи греха си.
16 schal bere his synne, and he that blasfemeth the name of the Lord, die bi deeth; al the multitude of the puple schal oppresse hym with stoonus, whether he that blasfemede the name of the Lord is a citeseyn, whether a pilgrym, die he bi deeth.
Който похули Господното име непременно да се умъртви; цялото общество да го убие с камъни; бил той чужденец или туземец, когато похули Господното име, да се умъртви.
17 He that smytith and sleeth a man, die bi deeth;
Който убие някой човек, непременно да се умъртви.
18 he that smytith a beeste, yelde oon in his stide, that is, lijf for lijf.
А който убие животно, да го плати, Живот за живот.
19 If a man yyueth a wem to ony of hise citeseyns, as he dide, so be it don to him;
И ако някой причини повреда на ближния си, нека се направи нему така, както е направил той:
20 he schal restore brekyng for brekyng, iye for iye, tooth for tooth; what maner wem he yaf, he schal be compellid to suffre sich a wem.
строшено за строшено, око за око, зъб за зъб; според повредата, която причини той на човека, така да се направи и нему.
21 He that smytith werk beeste, yeelde another; he that smytith a man, schal be punyschid.
Който убие животно, да го плати; а който убие човек, да се умъртви.
22 Euene doom be among you, whether a pilgrym ethir a citeseyn synneth, for Y am youre Lord God.
Един закон да имате, както за чужденеца така и за туземеца; защото Аз съм Господ вашият Бог.
23 And Moyses spak to the sones of Israel, and thei brouyten forth out of the castels hym that blasfemede, and oppressiden with stoonus. And the sones of Israel diden, as the Lord comaundide to Moyses.
И тъй, Моисей каза на израилтяните; и те изведоха вън от стана онзи, който бе проклел, и го убиха с камъни; израилтяните сториха, според както Господ заповяда на Моисея.
