Leviticus 23
1 And the Lord spak to Moises and seide, Speke thou to the sones of Israel,
Chúa Hằng Hữu phán bảo Môi-se:
2 and thou schalt seye to hem, These ben the feries of the Lord, whiche ye schulen clepe hooli.
“Hãy nói với người Ít-ra-ên: Đây là những ngày lễ Chúa Hằng Hữu ấn định; các ngươi sẽ hội họp trong những ngày thánh đó.
3 Sixe daies ye schulen do werk, the seuenthe dai schal be clepid hooli, for it is the reste of sabat; ye schulen not do ony werk ther ynne; it is the sabat of the Lord in alle youre abitaciouns.
Ngày lễ Sa-bát là một ngày nghỉ long trọng, ngày nhóm họp thánh. Làm công việc trong sáu ngày, nhưng nghỉ ngày thứ bảy. Dù các ngươi ở đâu, ngày nghỉ cuối tuần cũng là ngày của Chúa Hằng Hữu.
4 These ben the hooli feries of the Lord, whiche ye owen to halewe in her tymes.
Đây là những ngày lễ thánh hằng năm được Chúa Hằng Hữu ấn định, mỗi dịp lễ phải thông báo cho toàn dân.”
5 In the firste monethe, in the fourtenthe dai of the monethe, at euentid, is pask of the Lord;
“Lễ Vượt Qua của Chúa Hằng Hữu phải tổ chức vào tối ngày mười bốn tháng giêng.
6 and in the fiftenthe dai of this monethe is the solempnyte of therf looues of the Lord; seuene daies ye schulen ete therf looues;
Lễ Bánh Không Men dâng lên Chúa Hằng Hữu kéo dài bảy ngày, bắt đầu ngày mười lăm tháng giêng.
7 the firste dai schal be moost solempne and hooli to you; ye schulen not do ony `seruyle werk ther ynne,
Ngày đầu là ngày nhóm họp thánh, không ai được làm việc nặng nhọc.
8 but ye schulen offre sacrifice in fier to the Lord seuene daies; sotheli the seuenthe dai schal be more solempne and hooliere, `that is, `than the formere daies goynge bitwixe, and ye schulen not do ony seruyle werk ther ynne.
Suốt bảy ngày, ngày nào cũng phải dâng lễ thiêu lên Chúa Hằng Hữu. Đến ngày thứ bảy, hãy tổ chức nhóm họp thánh, và không được làm những việc thông thường.”
9 And the Lord spak to Moises and seide,
Chúa Hằng Hữu lại phán bảo Môi-se:
10 Speke thou to the sones of Israel, and thou schalt seye to hem, Whanne ye han entrid in to the lond which Y schal yyue to you, and han rope corn, ye schulen bere handfuls of eeris of corn, the firste fruytis of youre rype corn, to the preest;
“Hãy nói với người Ít-ra-ên: Khi các ngươi vào lãnh thổ Ta cho, trong vụ gặt đầu tiên, phải đem bó lúa đầu mùa đến cho thầy tế lễ.
11 and the preest schal reise a bundel bifor the Lord, that it be acceptable for you, in the tother dai of sabat, that is, of pask; and the preest schal halewe that bundel;
Vào ngày sau ngày Sa-bát, thầy tế lễ sẽ đem bó lúa dâng lên Chúa Hằng Hữu theo cách đưa qua đưa lại; lễ vật sẽ được chấp nhận.
12 and in the same dai, wher ynne the handful is halewid, a lomb of o yeer without wem schal be slayn in to brent sacrifice of the Lord;
Trong cùng ngày ấy, các ngươi phải đem một con chiên đực một tuổi không tì vít làm tế lễ thiêu dâng lên Chúa Hằng Hữu.
13 and fletynge offryngis schulen be offrid ther with, twei tenthe partis of wheete flour spreynt to gidere with oile, in to encense of the Lord, and swettist odour, and fletynge offryngis of wyn, the fourthe part of hyn.
Đồng thời, cũng dâng ngũ cốc, gồm 4,4 lít bột mịn pha dầu, dùng lửa dâng hương thơm lên Chúa Hằng Hữu, cùng với một lít rượu nho.
14 Ye schulen not ete a loof, nether a cake, nether podagis of the corn, `til to the dai in which ye schulen offre therof to youre God; it is a comaundement euerlastynge in youre generaciouns, and alle dwellyng placis.
Không ai được ăn bánh hoặc ngũ cốc—còn tươi hay đã phơi khô—cho đến ngày hôm ấy là ngày dâng lễ vật lên Đức Chúa Trời. Luật này áp dụng vĩnh viễn qua các thế hệ, trong khắp lãnh thổ.”
15 Therfor ye schulen noumbre fro the tother dai of sabat, in which ye offriden handfullis of firste fruytis,
“Từ ngày sau ngày Sa-bát, là ngày các ngươi sẽ đem dâng ngũ cốc mới thu hoạch lên Chúa, hãy đếm đủ bảy tuần lễ,
16 seuene fulle woukis, til to the tothir day of fillyng of the seuenthe wouk, that is, fifti dayes; and so ye schulen
tức là đếm năm mươi ngày cho đến sau ngày Sa-bát thứ bảy, và dâng một tế lễ chay mới lên Chúa Hằng Hữu.
17 offre newe sacrifice to the Lord of alle youre dwelling placis, twei looues of the firste fruytis, of twei tenthe partis of flour, `diyt with soure dow, whiche looues ye schulen bake in to the firste fruytis to the Lord.
Lấy 4,4 lít bột mịn pha men, làm hai ổ bánh để dâng đưa qua đưa lại; bánh này sẽ được nướng tại nhà đem tới, làm lễ vật đầu mùa lên Chúa Hằng Hữu.
18 And ye schulen offre with the looues seuene lambren of o yeer with out wem, and o calf of the droue, and twey rammes, and these schulen be in brent sacrifice, with her fletynge offryngis, in to swettest odour to the Lord.
Cùng với bánh và rượu, các ngươi sẽ dâng bảy con chiên một tuổi không tì vít, một bò tơ đực và hai chiên đực, dùng lửa dâng hương thơm lên Chúa Hằng Hữu.
19 Ye schulen make also a buk of geet for synne, and twey lambren of o yeer, sacrificis of pesible thingis.
Các ngươi cũng sẽ dâng một dê đực làm lễ chuộc tội, hai chiên đực một tuổi làm lễ tạ ơn.
20 And whanne the preest hath reisid tho, with the looues of firste fruytys bifor the Lord, tho schulen falle in to his vss.
Thầy tế lễ sẽ dâng các lễ vật này lên Chúa Hằng Hữu theo cách đưa qua đưa lại, cùng với hai ổ bánh làm bằng ngũ cốc đầu mùa. Các lễ vật này là thánh được dâng lên Chúa Hằng Hữu, và sẽ thuộc về thầy tế lễ.
21 And ye schulen clepe this dai most solempne, and moost hooli; ye schulen not do ther ynne ony seruyle werk; it schal be a lawful thing euerlastynge in alle youre dwellyngis, and generaciouns.
Ngày hôm ấy, phải thông báo triệu tập dân chúng đến dự thánh lễ, không ai được làm việc nặng nhọc. Luật này áp dụng vĩnh viễn qua các thế hệ, trong khắp lãnh thổ.
22 Forsothe aftir that ye han rope the corn of youre lond, ye schulen not kitte it `til to the ground, nether ye schulen gadere the `eeris of corn abidynge, but ye schulen leeue tho to pore men and pilgrymys; Y am `youre Lord God.
Khi gặt hái thổ sản, đừng gặt sạch tận góc đồng, cũng đừng mót lại phần đã sót. Hãy để các phần đó cho người nghèo và khách tạm trú. Ta là Chúa Hằng Hữu, Đức Chúa Trời của các ngươi.”
23 And the Lord spak to Moises, and seide,
Chúa Hằng Hữu phán bảo Môi-se:
24 Speke thou to the sones of Israel, In the seuenthe monethe, in the firste day of the monethe, schal be sabat memorial to yow, sownynge with trumpis, and it schal be clepid hooli;
“Hãy nói với người Ít-ra-ên: Ngày mồng một tháng bảy là ngày nghỉ long trọng, một ngày kỷ niệm, phải thổi kèn triệu tập dân đến dự thánh lễ.
25 ye schulen not do ony seruyle werk ther ynne, and ye schulen offre brent sacrifice to the Lord.
Ngày ấy không ai làm việc nặng nhọc, nhưng sẽ dâng tế lễ thiêu lên Chúa Hằng Hữu.”
26 And the Lord spak to Moises, and seide, In the tenthe day of this seuenthe monethe,
Chúa Hằng Hữu phán bảo Môi-se:
27 the day of clensyngis schal be moost solempne, and it schal be clepid hooli; and ye schulen turmente youre soulis to God, and ye schulen offre brent sacrifice to the Lord;
“Ngày mồng mười tháng bảy là Ngày Chuộc Tội. Toàn dân phải họp lại trong ngày thánh này, để ăn năn hối lỗi và dâng tế lễ thiêu lên Chúa Hằng Hữu.
28 ye schulen not do ony werk in the tyme of this day, for it is the day of the clensyng, that youre Lord God be merciful to you.
Không ai làm việc trong Ngày Chuộc Tội, chỉ lo chuộc tội mình trước mặt Chúa Hằng Hữu, Đức Chúa Trời các ngươi.
29 Ech `man which is not tourmentid in this day, schal perische fro his puplis,
Ai không xét mình hối lỗi hôm ấy sẽ bị trục xuất khỏi cộng đồng.
30 and Y schal do a way fro his puple that man that doith eny thing of werk in that dai;
Ai làm bất kỳ việc gì trong ngày ấy, Ta sẽ khai trừ người ấy khỏi cộng đồng.
31 therfor ye schulen not do ony thing of werk in that dai; it schal be a lawful thing euerlastynge to you in alle youre generaciouns and abitaciouns;
Luật này áp dụng đời đời cho mọi thế hệ, trong khắp lãnh thổ.
32 it is the sabat of restyng. Ye schulen turmente youre soulis fro the nynthe day of the monethe; fro euentid `til to euentid ye schulen halewe youre sabatis.
Ngày ấy là một ngày nghỉ long trọng, phải xét mình hối lỗi. Lễ này bắt đầu tối ngày chín và chấm dứt tối ngày mười tháng bảy.”
33 And the Lord spak to Moises,
Chúa Hằng Hữu phán bảo Môi-se:
34 and seide, Speke thou to the sones of Israel, Fro the fiftenthe day of this seuenthe monethe schulen be the feries of tabernaclis, in seuene daies to the Lord;
“Hãy nói với người Ít-ra-ên: Ngày rằm tháng bảy sẽ là Lễ Lều Tạm của Chúa Hằng Hữu. Phải giữ lễ này trong bảy ngày.
35 the firste dai schal be clepid moost solempne and moost hooli, ye schulen not do ony seruyle werk ther ynne;
Ngày thứ nhất là ngày hội họp thánh, không ai được làm việc nặng nhọc.
36 and in seuene daies ye schulen offre brent sacrifices to the Lord, and the eiythe dai schal be moost solempne and moost hooli; and ye schulen offre brent sacrifice to the Lord, for it is the day of cumpany, and of gaderyng; ye schulen not do ony seruyle werk ther ynne.
Trong suốt bảy ngày lễ này, ngày nào cũng phải dâng tế lễ thiêu lên Chúa Hằng Hữu. Ngày thứ tám lại là ngày hội họp thánh long trọng, cũng sẽ có lễ thiêu dâng lên Chúa Hằng Hữu. Không ai được làm việc nặng nhọc.
37 These ben the feries of the Lord, whiche ye schulen clepe moost solempne and moost hooli; and in tho ye schulen offre offryngis to the Lord, brent sacrifices, and fletynge offeryngis, bi the custom of ech day,
(Đó là những ngày lễ Chúa ấn định, phải thông báo triệu tập dân chúng đến dự các buổi họp thánh, và dùng lửa dâng lễ vật lên Chúa Hằng Hữu gồm có sinh tế, ngũ cốc, rượu—như đã ấn định.
38 outakun the sabatis of the Lord, and youre yiftys, and whiche ye offren bi avow, ether whiche ye yyuen bi fre wille to the Lord.
Các ngày lễ này là những ngày nghỉ ngoài các ngày nghỉ cuối tuần thông thường; các lễ vật dâng trong các ngày ấy là những lễ vật ngoài các lễ vật thông thường, và cũng không tính đến các tế lễ khác như lễ vật khấn nguyện, và mọi lễ vật tự nguyện dâng lên Chúa Hằng Hữu.)
39 Therfor fro the fiftenthe day of the seuenthe monethe, whanne ye han gaderid alle the fruytis of youre lond, ye schulen halewe the feries of the Lord seuene daies; in the firste day and the eiyte schal be sabat, that is, reste.
Ngày rằm tháng bảy, sau khi đã gặt hái xong, mọi người sẽ giữ lễ này cho Chúa Hằng Hữu bảy ngày, họ sẽ nghỉ ngơi để hội họp trong ngày thứ nhất và ngày thứ tám.
40 And ye schulen take to you in the firste day fruytis of the faireste tree, and braunchis of palm trees, and braunchis of a `tree of thicke boowis, and salewis of the rennynge streem, and ye schulen be glad bifor youre Lord God;
Vào ngày thứ nhất, các ngươi sẽ lấy nhánh cây đầy quả, cành chà là, nhánh cây đầy lá, cành dương liễu, và vui mừng trong bảy ngày trước mặt Chúa Hằng Hữu, Đức Chúa Trời các ngươi.
41 and ye schulen halewe his solempnyte seuene daies bi the yeer; it schal be a lawful thing euerlastynge in youre generaciouns. In the seuenthe monethe ye schulen halewe feestis,
Bảy ngày lễ trong tháng bảy hằng năm này phải được tôn trọng mãi mãi qua các thế hệ.
42 and ye schulen dwelle in schadewynge placis seuene daies; ech man that is of the kyn of Israel, schal dwelle in tabernaclis, that youre aftercomers lerne,
Mọi người Ít-ra-ên sẽ ở lều trong bảy ngày.
43 that Y made the sones of Israel to dwelle in tabernaculis, whanne Y ledde hem out of the lond of Egipt; Y am youre Lord God.
Như vậy, từ thế hệ này qua thế hệ khác, họ sẽ tưởng niệm thời kỳ ở lều sau khi Ta đem họ ra khỏi Ai Cập. Ta là Chúa Hằng Hữu, Đức Chúa Trời của các ngươi.”
44 And Moises spak of the solempnytees of the Lord to the sones of Israel.
Môi-se thông báo cho người Ít-ra-ên các ngày lễ Chúa Hằng Hữu đã ấn định.
