Leviticus 23
1 And the Lord spak to Moises and seide, Speke thou to the sones of Israel,
Yahweh parla à Moïse, en disant:
2 and thou schalt seye to hem, These ben the feries of the Lord, whiche ye schulen clepe hooli.
" Parle aux enfants d'Israël, et dis-leur: Voici les solennités de Yahweh que vous publierez pour être de saintes assemblées; ce sont mes solennités.
3 Sixe daies ye schulen do werk, the seuenthe dai schal be clepid hooli, for it is the reste of sabat; ye schulen not do ony werk ther ynne; it is the sabat of the Lord in alle youre abitaciouns.
On travaillera durant six jours; mais le septième jour est un sabbat, un repos complet: il y aura une sainte assemblée. Vous ne ferez aucun ouvrage. C'est un repos consacré à Yahweh, dans tous les lieux que vous habiterez.
4 These ben the hooli feries of the Lord, whiche ye owen to halewe in her tymes.
Voici les fêtes de Yahweh, les saintes assemblées que vous publierez en leur temps.
5 In the firste monethe, in the fourtenthe dai of the monethe, at euentid, is pask of the Lord;
Au premier mois, le quatorzième jour du mois, entre les deux soirs, c'est la Pâque de Yahweh.
6 and in the fiftenthe dai of this monethe is the solempnyte of therf looues of the Lord; seuene daies ye schulen ete therf looues;
Et le quinzième jour de ce mois, c'est la fête des pains sans levain en l'honneur de Yahweh: pendant sept jours, vous mangerez des pains sans levain.
7 the firste dai schal be moost solempne and hooli to you; ye schulen not do ony `seruyle werk ther ynne,
Le premier jour vous aurez une sainte assemblée: vous ne ferez aucune œuvre servile.
8 but ye schulen offre sacrifice in fier to the Lord seuene daies; sotheli the seuenthe dai schal be more solempne and hooliere, `that is, `than the formere daies goynge bitwixe, and ye schulen not do ony seruyle werk ther ynne.
Vous offrirez à Yahweh, pendant sept jours, des sacrifices faits par le feu. Le septième jour, il y aura une sainte assemblée: vous ne ferez aucune œuvre servile. "
9 And the Lord spak to Moises and seide,
Yahweh parla à Moïse, en disant:
10 Speke thou to the sones of Israel, and thou schalt seye to hem, Whanne ye han entrid in to the lond which Y schal yyue to you, and han rope corn, ye schulen bere handfuls of eeris of corn, the firste fruytis of youre rype corn, to the preest;
" Parle aux enfants d'Israël, et dis-leur: Quand vous serez entrés dans le pays que je vous donne, et que vous y ferez la moisson, vous apporterez au prêtre une gerbe, prémices de votre moisson.
11 and the preest schal reise a bundel bifor the Lord, that it be acceptable for you, in the tother dai of sabat, that is, of pask; and the preest schal halewe that bundel;
Il balancera cette gerbe devant Yahweh, pour qu'il vous soit favorable; le prêtre la balancera le lendemain du sabbat.
12 and in the same dai, wher ynne the handful is halewid, a lomb of o yeer without wem schal be slayn in to brent sacrifice of the Lord;
Le jour où vous balancerez la gerbe, vous sacrifierez en holocauste à Yahweh un agneau d'un an, sans défaut;
13 and fletynge offryngis schulen be offrid ther with, twei tenthe partis of wheete flour spreynt to gidere with oile, in to encense of the Lord, and swettist odour, and fletynge offryngis of wyn, the fourthe part of hyn.
l'oblation qui l'accompagnera sera de deux dixièmes de fleur de farine pétrie à l'huile, comme offrande faite par le feu, d'une agréable odeur à Yahweh; la libation sera de vin, le quart d'un hin.
14 Ye schulen not ete a loof, nether a cake, nether podagis of the corn, `til to the dai in which ye schulen offre therof to youre God; it is a comaundement euerlastynge in youre generaciouns, and alle dwellyng placis.
Vous ne mangerez ni pain, ni épis grillés, ni épis frais, jusqu'à ce jour même, jusqu'à ce que vous apportiez l'offrande de votre Dieu. C'est une loi perpétuelle pour vos descendants, dans tous les lieux que vous habiterez.
15 Therfor ye schulen noumbre fro the tother dai of sabat, in which ye offriden handfullis of firste fruytis,
A partir du lendemain du sabbat, du jour où vous aurez apporté la gerbe pour être balancée, vous compterez sept semaines entières.
16 seuene fulle woukis, til to the tothir day of fillyng of the seuenthe wouk, that is, fifti dayes; and so ye schulen
Vous compterez cinquante jours jusqu'au lendemain du septième sabbat, et vous offrirez à Yahweh une oblation nouvelle.
17 offre newe sacrifice to the Lord of alle youre dwelling placis, twei looues of the firste fruytis, of twei tenthe partis of flour, `diyt with soure dow, whiche looues ye schulen bake in to the firste fruytis to the Lord.
Vous apporterez de vos demeures deux pains pour offrande balancée; ils seront faits avec deux dixièmes d'épha de fleur de farine, et cuits avec du levain: ce sont les prémices de Yahweh.
18 And ye schulen offre with the looues seuene lambren of o yeer with out wem, and o calf of the droue, and twey rammes, and these schulen be in brent sacrifice, with her fletynge offryngis, in to swettest odour to the Lord.
Avec ces pains, vous offrirez en holocauste à Yahweh sept agneaux d'un an, sans défaut, un jeune taureau et deux béliers, en y joignant l'oblation et la libation ordinaires: ce sera un sacrifice fait par le feu, d'une agréable odeur à Yahweh.
19 Ye schulen make also a buk of geet for synne, and twey lambren of o yeer, sacrificis of pesible thingis.
Vous immolerez aussi un bouc en sacrifice pour le péché, et deux agneaux d'un an en sacrifice pacifique.
20 And whanne the preest hath reisid tho, with the looues of firste fruytys bifor the Lord, tho schulen falle in to his vss.
Le prêtre balancera les victimes avec les pains des prémices en offrande balancée devant Yahweh, avec les deux agneaux; ils seront consacrés à Yahweh et appartiendront au prêtre.
21 And ye schulen clepe this dai most solempne, and moost hooli; ye schulen not do ther ynne ony seruyle werk; it schal be a lawful thing euerlastynge in alle youre dwellyngis, and generaciouns.
Ce jour-là même, vous publierez la fête, et vous aurez une sainte assemblée: vous ne ferez aucune œuvre servile. C'est une loi perpétuelle pour vos descendants, dans tous les lieux où vous habiterez.
22 Forsothe aftir that ye han rope the corn of youre lond, ye schulen not kitte it `til to the ground, nether ye schulen gadere the `eeris of corn abidynge, but ye schulen leeue tho to pore men and pilgrymys; Y am `youre Lord God.
Quand vous ferez la moisson dans votre pays, tu ne moissonneras pas jusqu'à la limite extrême de ton champ, et tu ne ramasseras pas de ta moisson ce qui reste à glaner; tu laisseras cela pour le pauvre et pour l'étranger. Je suis Yahweh, votre Dieu. "
23 And the Lord spak to Moises, and seide,
Yahweh parla à Moïse, en disant:
24 Speke thou to the sones of Israel, In the seuenthe monethe, in the firste day of the monethe, schal be sabat memorial to yow, sownynge with trumpis, and it schal be clepid hooli;
" Parle aux enfants d'Israël et dis-leur: Au septième mois, le premier jour du mois, vous aurez un repos solennel, un rappel à son de cor, une sainte assemblée.
25 ye schulen not do ony seruyle werk ther ynne, and ye schulen offre brent sacrifice to the Lord.
Vous ne ferez aucune œuvre servile, et vous offrirez à Yahweh des sacrifices faits par le feu. "
26 And the Lord spak to Moises, and seide, In the tenthe day of this seuenthe monethe,
Yahweh parla à Moïse, en disant:
27 the day of clensyngis schal be moost solempne, and it schal be clepid hooli; and ye schulen turmente youre soulis to God, and ye schulen offre brent sacrifice to the Lord;
" Le dixième jour de ce septième mois est le jour des Expiations: vous aurez une sainte assemblée, vous affligerez vos âmes, et vous offrirez à Yahweh des sacrifices faits par le feu.
28 ye schulen not do ony werk in the tyme of this day, for it is the day of the clensyng, that youre Lord God be merciful to you.
Vous ne ferez ce jour-là aucun travail, car c'est un jour d'expiation, où doit être faite l'expiation pour vous devant Yahweh, votre Dieu.
29 Ech `man which is not tourmentid in this day, schal perische fro his puplis,
Toute personne qui ne s'affligera pas ce jour-là sera retranchée de son peuple;
30 and Y schal do a way fro his puple that man that doith eny thing of werk in that dai;
et toute personne qui fera ce jour-là un ouvrage quelconque, je la ferai périr du milieu de son peuple.
31 therfor ye schulen not do ony thing of werk in that dai; it schal be a lawful thing euerlastynge to you in alle youre generaciouns and abitaciouns;
Vous ne ferez aucun travail. C'est une loi perpétuelle pour vos descendants, dans tous les lieux où vous demeurerez.
32 it is the sabat of restyng. Ye schulen turmente youre soulis fro the nynthe day of the monethe; fro euentid `til to euentid ye schulen halewe youre sabatis.
Ce sera pour vous un sabbat, un repos absolu, et vous affligerez vos âmes; le neuvième jour du mois, au soir, du soir jusqu'au soir suivant, vous observerez votre sabbat. "
33 And the Lord spak to Moises,
Yahweh parla à Moïse, en disant:
34 and seide, Speke thou to the sones of Israel, Fro the fiftenthe day of this seuenthe monethe schulen be the feries of tabernaclis, in seuene daies to the Lord;
" Parle aux enfants d'Israël, et dis-leur: Au quinzième jour de ce septième mois, c'est la fête des Tabernacles, pendant sept jours, en l'honneur de Yahweh.
35 the firste dai schal be clepid moost solempne and moost hooli, ye schulen not do ony seruyle werk ther ynne;
Le premier jour, il y aura une sainte assemblée; vous ne ferez aucune œuvre servile.
36 and in seuene daies ye schulen offre brent sacrifices to the Lord, and the eiythe dai schal be moost solempne and moost hooli; and ye schulen offre brent sacrifice to the Lord, for it is the day of cumpany, and of gaderyng; ye schulen not do ony seruyle werk ther ynne.
Pendant sept jours, vous offrirez à Yahweh des sacrifices faits par le feu. Le huitième jour, vous aurez une sainte assemblée, et vous offrirez à Yahweh des sacrifices faits par le feu; c'est une fête de clôture: vous ne ferez aucune œuvre servile.
37 These ben the feries of the Lord, whiche ye schulen clepe moost solempne and moost hooli; and in tho ye schulen offre offryngis to the Lord, brent sacrifices, and fletynge offeryngis, bi the custom of ech day,
Telles sont les fêtes de Yahweh que vous publierez pour y tenir de saintes assemblées, pour offrir à Yahweh des sacrifices faits par le feu, des holocaustes, des oblations, des victimes et des libations, chacun d'eux à son jour:
38 outakun the sabatis of the Lord, and youre yiftys, and whiche ye offren bi avow, ether whiche ye yyuen bi fre wille to the Lord.
indépendamment des sabbats de Yahweh, indépendamment de vos dons, indépendamment de tous vos vœux et indépendamment de toutes vos offrandes volontaires que vous présenterez à Yahweh.
39 Therfor fro the fiftenthe day of the seuenthe monethe, whanne ye han gaderid alle the fruytis of youre lond, ye schulen halewe the feries of the Lord seuene daies; in the firste day and the eiyte schal be sabat, that is, reste.
Le quinzième jour du septième mois, quand vous aurez récolté les produits du pays, vous célébrerez la fête de Yahweh pendant sept jours; le premier jour sera un repos solennel, et le huitième jour un repos solennel.
40 And ye schulen take to you in the firste day fruytis of the faireste tree, and braunchis of palm trees, and braunchis of a `tree of thicke boowis, and salewis of the rennynge streem, and ye schulen be glad bifor youre Lord God;
Vous prendrez, le premier jour, du fruit de beaux arbres, des branches de palmiers, des rameaux d'arbres touffus et des saules de rivière; et vous vous réjouirez devant Yahweh, votre Dieu, pendant sept jours.
41 and ye schulen halewe his solempnyte seuene daies bi the yeer; it schal be a lawful thing euerlastynge in youre generaciouns. In the seuenthe monethe ye schulen halewe feestis,
Vous célébrerez cette fête en l'honneur de Yahweh sept jours chaque année. C'est une loi perpétuelle pour vos descendants; vous la célébrerez le septième mois.
42 and ye schulen dwelle in schadewynge placis seuene daies; ech man that is of the kyn of Israel, schal dwelle in tabernaclis, that youre aftercomers lerne,
Vous demeurerez pendant sept jours sous des huttes de feuillage: tous les indigènes en Israël demeureront dans des huttes;
43 that Y made the sones of Israel to dwelle in tabernaculis, whanne Y ledde hem out of the lond of Egipt; Y am youre Lord God.
afin que vos descendants sachent que j'ai fait habiter sous des huttes les enfants d'Israël, lorsque je les ai fait sortir du pays d'Egypte. Je suis Yahweh, votre Dieu. "
44 And Moises spak of the solempnytees of the Lord to the sones of Israel.
Moïse fit ainsi connaître aux enfants d'Israël les fêtes de Yahweh. "
