Leviticus 19
1 The Lord spak to Moises, and seide,
HERREN talede fremdeles til Moses og sagde:
2 Speke thou to al the cumpenye of the sones of Israel, and thou schalt seie to hem, Be ye hooli, for Y am hooli, youre Lord God.
Tal til hele Israeliternes Menighed og sig til dem: I skal være hellige, thi jeg HERREN eders Gud er hellig!
3 Ech man drede his fadir and his modir. Kepe ye my sabatis; Y am youre Lord God.
I skal frygte hver sin Moder og sin Fader, og mine Sabbater skal I holde. Jeg er HERREN eders Gud!
4 Nyle ye be turned to ydols, nether ye schulen make to you yotun goddis; Y am youre Lord God.
Vend eder ikke til Afguderne og gør eder ikke støbte Gudebilleder! Jeg er HERREN eders Gud!
5 If ye offren a sacrifice of pesible thingis to the Lord, that it be quemeful,
Naar I ofrer Takoffer til HERREN, skal I ofre det saaledes, at I kan vinde Guds Velbehag.
6 ye schulen ete it in that day, in which it is offrid, and in the tother dai; sotheli what euer thing is residue in to the thridde dai, ye schulen brenne in fier.
Den Dag, I ofrer det, og Dagen efter maa det spises, men hvad der levnes til den tredje Dag, skal opbrændes;
7 If ony man etith therof aftir twei daes, he schal be vnhooli, and gilti of vnfeithfulnes `ether wickidnesse; and he schal bere his wickidnesse,
spises det den tredje Dag, er det at regne for raaddent Kød og vinder ikke Guds Velbehag;
8 for he defoulide the hooli thing of the Lord, and his soule schal perische fro his puple.
den, der spiser deraf, skal undgælde for sin Brøde, thi han vanhelliger det, som var helliget HERREN, og det Menneske skal udryddes af sin Slægt.
9 Whanne thou schalt repe the fruytis of thi lond, thou schalt not kitte `til to the ground the corn of the lond, nether thou schalt gadere the eeris of corn that ben left;
Naar I høster eders Lands Høst, maa du ikke høste helt hen til Kanten af din Mark, ej heller maa du sanke Efterslætten efter din Høst.
10 nethir in thi vyner thou schalt gadere reysyns and greynes fallynge doun, but thou schalt leeue to be gaderid of pore men and pilgryms; Y am youre Lord God.
Heller ikke maa du holde Efterhøst eller sanke de nedfaldne Bær i din Vingaard; til den fattige og den fremmede skal du lade det blive tilbage. Jeg er HERREN eders Gud!
11 Ye schulen not do thefte. Ye schulen not lye, and no man disseyue his neiybour.
I maa ikke stjæle, I maa ikke lyve, I maa ikke bedrage hverandre.
12 Thou schalt not forswere in my name, nethir thou schalt defoule the name of thi God; Y am the Lord.
I maa ikke sværge falsk ved mit Navn, saa du vanhelliger din Guds Navn. Jeg er HERREN!
13 Thou schalt not make fals chalenge to thi neiybore, nethir thou schalt oppresse hym bi violence. The werk of thin hirid man schal not dwelle at thee til the morewtid.
Du maa intet aftvinge din Næste, du maa intet røve; Daglejerens Løn maa ikke blive hos dig Natten over.
14 Thou schalt not curse a deef man, nether thou schalt sette an hurtyng bifor a blynd man; but thou schalt drede thi Lord God, for Y am the Lord.
Du maa ikke forbande den døve eller lægge Stød for den blindes Fod, du skal frygte din Gud. Jeg er HERREN!
15 Thou schalt not do that, that is wickid, nether thou schalt deme vniustli; biholde thou not the persoone of a pore man, nethir onoure thou the face of a myyti man; deme thou iustli to thi neiybore.
I maa ikke øve Uret, naar I holder Rettergang; du maa ikke begunstige den ringe, ej heller tage Parti for den store, men du skal dømme din Næste med Retfærdighed.
16 Thou schalt not be a sclaunderere, nether a priuey bacbitere in the puplis; thou schalt not stonde ayens the blood of thi neiybore; Y am the Lord.
Du maa ikke gaa rundt og bagvaske din Landsmand eller staa din Næste efter Livet. Jeg er HERREN!
17 Thou schalt not hate thi brothir in thin herte, but repreue hym opynly, lest thou haue synne on hym.
Du maa ikke bære Nag til din Broder i dit Hjerte, men du skal tale din Næste til Rette, at du ikke skal paadrage dig Synd for hans Skyld.
18 Thou schalt not seke veniaunce, nether thou schalt be myndeful of the wrong of thi cyteseyns; thou schalt loue thi freend as thi silf; Y am the Lord.
Du maa ikke hævne dig eller gemme paa Vrede mod dit Folks Børn, du skal elske din Næste som dig selv. Jeg er HERREN!
19 Kepe ye my lawis. Thou schalt not make thi beestis to gendre with the lyuynge beestis of another kynde. Thou schalt not sowe the feeld with dyuerse sede. Thou schalt not be clothid in a cloth, which is wouun of twei thingis.
Hold mine Anordninger! Du maa ikke lade to Slags Kvæg parre sig med hinanden; du maa ikke saa to Slags Sæd i din Mark; og du maa ikke bære Klæder, der er vævede af to Slags Garn.
20 If a man slepith with a womman by fleischly knowyng of seed, which womman is an `hand maide, ye, a noble womman of kyn, and netheles is not ayenbouyt bi prijs, nethir rewardid with fredom, bothe schulen be betun, and thei schulen not die, for sche was not fre.
Naar en Mand har Samleje med en Kvinde, og det er en Trælkvinde, en anden Mands Medhustru, som ikke er løskøbt eller frigivet, saa skal Afstraffelse finde Sted; dog skal de ikke lide Døden, thi hun var ikke frigivet.
21 Sotheli the man for his trespas schal offre a ram to the Lord, at the dore of the tabernacle of witnessyng;
Og han skal bringe sit Skyldoffer for HERREN til Aabenbaringsteltets Indgang, en Skyldoffervæder,
22 and the preest schal preye for hym, and for his trespas, bifor the Lord; and the Lord schal be merciful to hym, and the synne schal be foryouun.
og Præsten skal med Skyldoffervæderen skaffe ham Soning for HERRENS Aasyn for den Synd, han har begaaet, saa han finder Tilgivelse for den Synd, han har begaaet.
23 Whanne ye han entrid in to the lond of biheest, and han plauntid therynne appil trees, ye schulen do awei the firste flouris; the applis whiche tho trees bryngen forth, schulen be vncleene to you, nethir ye schulen ete of tho.
Naar I kommer ind i Landet og planter alskens Frugttræer, skal I lade deres Forhud, den første Frugt, urørt; i tre Aar skal de være eder uomskaarne og maa ikke spises;
24 Forsothe in the fourthe yeer al the fruyt of tho trees schal be `halewid preiseful to the Lord;
det fjerde Aar skal al deres Frugt under Høstjubel helliges HERREN;
25 forsothe in the fifthe yeer ye schulen ete fruytis, and schulen gadere applis, whiche tho trees bryngen forth; Y am youre Lord God.
først det femte Aar maa I spise deres Frugt, for at I kan faa saa meget større Udbytte deraf. Jeg er HERREN eders Gud!
26 Ye schulen not ete fleisch with blood. Ye schulen not make veyn diuynyng, nether ye schulen kepe dremes;
I maa ikke spise noget med Blodet i. I maa ikke give eder af med at tage Varsler og øve Trolddom.
27 nether ye schulen clippe the heer in round, nether ye schulen schaue the beerd;
I maa ikke runde Haaret paa Tindingerne; og du maa ikke studse dit Skæg;
28 and on deed men ye schulen not kitte youre fleischis, nether ye schulen make to you ony fyguris, ether markis in youre fleisch; Y am the Lord.
I maa ikke gøre Indsnit i eders Legeme for de dødes Skyld eller indridse Tegn paa eder. Jeg er HERREN!
29 Sette thou not thi douytir to do leccherie for hire, and the lond be defoulid, and be fillid with synne.
Du maa ikke vanhellige din Datter ved at lade hende bedrive Hor, for at ikke Landet skal forfalde til Horeri og fyldes med Utugt.
30 Kepe ye my sabatis, and drede ye my seyntuarie; Y `am the Lord.
Mine Sabbater skal I holde, og min Helligdom skal I frygte. Jeg er HERREN!
31 Bowe ye not to astronomyers, nether axe ye ony thing of fals dyuynours, that ye be defoulid bi hem; Y am youre Lord God.
Henvend eder ikke til Genfærd og Sandsigeraander; søg dem ikke, saa I gør eder urene ved dem. Jeg er HERREN eders Gud!
32 Rise thou bifor an hoor heed, and onoure thou the persoone of an eld man, and drede thou thi Lord God; Y am the Lord.
Du skal rejse dig for de graa Haar og ære Oldingen, og du skal frygte din Gud. Jeg er HERREN!
33 If a comelyng enhabitith in youre lond, and dwellith among you, dispise ye not hym,
Naar en fremmed bor hos dig i eders Land, maa I ikke lade ham lide Overlast;
34 but be he among you as a man borun in the lond; and ye schulen loue hym as you silf, for also ye weren comelyngis in the lond of Egipt; Y am youre Lord God.
som en af eders egne skal I regne den fremmede, der bor hos eder, og du skal elske ham som dig selv, thi I var selv fremmede i Ægypten. Jeg et HERREN eders Guld!
35 Nyle ye do ony wickid thing in doom, in reule, in weiyte, and in mesure; the balance be iust,
Naar I holder Rettergang, maa I ikke øve Uret ved Længdemaal, Vægt eller Rummaal;
36 and the weiytis be euene, the buschel be iust, and the sextarie be euene; Y am youre Lord God, that ladde you out of the lond of Egipt.
Vægtskaale, der vejer rigtigt, Lodder, der holder Vægt, Efa og Hin, der holder Maal, skal I have. Jeg er HERREN eders Gud, som førte eder ud af Ægypten!
37 Kepe ye alle myn heestis, and alle domes, and do ye tho; Y am the Lord.
Hold alle mine Anordninger og Lovbud og gør efter dem. Jeg er HERREN!
