Leviticus 18
1 And the Lord spak to Moises, and seide, Speke thou to the sones of Israel,
Und Jehova redete zu Mose und sprach:
2 and thou schalt seie to hem, Y am youre Lord God;
Rede zu den Kindern Israel und sprich zu ihnen: Ich bin Jehova, euer Gott.
3 ye schulen not do by the custom of the lond of Egipt, in which ye dwelliden; ye schulen not do bi the custom of the cuntrei of Canaan, `to which Y schal brynge you yn, nethir ye schulen go in the lawful thingis of hem.
Nach dem Tun des Landes Ägypten, in welchem ihr gewohnt habt, sollt ihr nicht tun; und nach dem Tun des Landes Kanaan, wohin ich euch bringe, sollt ihr nicht tun; und in ihren Satzungen sollt ihr nicht wandeln.
4 Ye schulen do my domes, and ye schulen kepe myn heestis, and ye schulen go in tho; Y am youre Lord God.
Meine Rechte sollt ihr tun und meine Satzungen sollt ihr beobachten, darin zu wandeln. Ich bin Jehova, euer Gott.
5 Kepe ye my lawis and domes, whiche a man `schal do, and schal lyue in tho; Y am youre Lord God.
Und meine Satzungen und meine Rechte sollt ihr beobachten, durch welche der Mensch, wenn er sie tut, leben wird. Ich bin Jehova.
6 Ech man schal not neiy to the nyy womman of his blood, that he schewe `the filthe of hir; Y am the Lord.
Kein Mensch soll sich irgend einer seiner Blutsverwandten nahen, um ihre Blöße aufzudecken. Ich bin Jehova.
7 Thou schalt not diskyuere the filthe of thi fadir and the filthe of thi modir; sche is thi modir, thou schalt not schewe hir filthe.
Die Blöße deines Vaters und die Blöße deiner Mutter sollst du nicht aufdecken; sie ist deine Mutter, du sollst ihre Blöße nicht aufdecken;
8 Thou schalt not vnhile the filthe of the wijf of thi fadir, for it is the filthe of thi fadir.
Die Blöße des Weibes deines Vaters sollst du nicht aufdecken; es ist die Blöße deines Vaters.
9 Thou schalt not schewe the filthe of thi sistir, of fadir `ether of modir, which sister is gendrid at hoome ether without forth.
Die Blöße deiner Schwester, der Tochter deines Vaters, oder der Tochter deiner Mutter, daheim geboren oder draußen geboren, ihre Blöße sollst du nicht aufdecken.
10 Thou schalt not schewe the filthe of the douyter of thi sone, ether of neece of thi douyter, for it is thi filthe.
Die Blöße der Tochter deines Sohnes oder der Tochter deiner Tochter ihre Blöße sollst du nicht aufdecken, denn es ist deine Blöße.
11 Thou schalt not schewe the filthe of the douyter of the wijf of thi fadir, which sche childide to thi fadir, and is thi sistir.
Die Blöße der Tochter des Weibes deines Vaters, von deinem Vater gezeugt, sie ist deine Schwester, ihre Blöße sollst du nicht aufdecken.
12 Thou schalt not opene the filthe of the `sister of thi fadir, for sche is the fleisch of thi fadir.
Die Blöße der Schwester deines Vaters sollst du nicht aufdecken: sie ist die Blutsverwandte deines Vaters.
13 Thou schalt not schewe the filthe of the sistir of thi modir, for sche is the fleisch of thi modir.
Die Blöße der Schwester deiner Mutter sollst du nicht aufdecken, denn sie ist die Blutsverwandte deiner Mutter.
14 Thou schalt not shewe the filthe of the brothir of thi fadir, nethir thou schalt neiye to his wijf, which is ioyned to thee bi affinyte.
Die Blöße des Bruders deines Vaters sollst du nicht aufdecken: zu seinem Weibe sollst du nicht nahen, sie ist deine Muhme.
15 Thou schalt not schewe the filthe of thi sones wijf, for sche is the wijf of thi sone, nether thou schalt diskiuere hir schenschip; and no man take his brotheris wijf.
Die Blöße deiner Schwiegertochter sollst du nicht aufdecken; sie ist das Weib deines Sohnes, ihre Blöße sollst du nicht aufdecken.
16 Thou schalt not schewe the filthe of `the wijf of thi brother, for it is the filthe of thi brothir.
Die Blöße des Weibes deines Bruders sollst du nicht aufdecken; es ist die Blöße deines Bruders.
17 Thou schalt not schewe the filthe of thi wijf, and of hir douyter; thou schalt not take the douytir of hir sone, and the douytir of hir douyter, that thou schewe hir schenschip; thei ben the fleisch of hir, and siche letcherie is incest.
Die Blöße eines Weibes und ihrer Tochter sollst du nicht aufdecken; die Tochter ihres Sohnes und die Tochter ihrer Tochter sollst du nicht nehmen, um ihre Blöße aufzudecken; sie sind Blutsverwandte: es ist eine Schandtat.
18 Thou schalt not take `the sister of thi wijf, in to concubynage of hir, nethir thou schalt schewe `the filthe of hir, while thi wijf lyueth yit.
Und du sollst nicht ein Weib zu ihrer Schwester nehmen, sie eifersüchtig zu machen, indem du ihre Blöße neben derselben aufdeckst bei ihrem Leben. -
19 Thou schalt not neiye to a womman that suffrith rennyng of blood of monethe, nethir thou schalt schewe hir filthe.
Und einem Weibe in der Unreinheit ihrer Unreinigkeit sollst du nicht nahen, um ihre Blöße aufzudecken.
20 Thou schalt not do letcherie with `the wijf of thi neiybore, nether thou schalt be defoulid with medlyng of seed.
Und bei dem Weibe deines Nächsten sollst du nicht liegen zur Begattung, daß du durch sie unrein werdest. -
21 Thou schalt not yyue of thi seed, that it be offrid to the idol Moloch, nether thou schalt defoule the name of thi God; Y am the Lord.
Und von deinen Kindern sollst du nicht hingeben, um sie dem Molech durch das Feuer gehen zu lassen, und du sollst den Namen Jehovas, deines Gottes, nicht entweihen. Ich bin Jehova. -
22 Thou schalt not be medlid with a man bi letcherie of womman, for it is abhomynacioun.
Und bei einem Manne sollst du nicht liegen, wie man bei einem Weibe liegt: es ist ein Greuel.
23 Thou schalt not do letcherie with ony beeste, nethir thou schalt be defoulid with it. A womman schal not ligge vnder a beeste, nether schal be medlid therwith, for it is greet synne.
Und bei keinem Vieh sollst du liegen, so daß du dich an ihm verunreinigst; und ein Weib soll sich nicht vor ein Vieh hinstellen, um mit ihm zu schaffen zu haben: es ist eine schändliche Befleckung.
24 Be ye not defoulid in alle these thingis, in whiche alle `folkis, ether hethen men, ben defoulid, whiche folkis Y schal caste out bifor youre siyt,
Verunreiniget euch nicht durch alles dieses; denn durch alles dieses haben die Nationen sich verunreinigt, die ich vor euch vertreibe.
25 of whiche the lond is defoulid, of which lond Y schal vysyte the grete synnes, that it spewe out hise dwellers.
Und das Land wurde verunreinigt, und ich suchte seine Ungerechtigkeit an ihm heim, und das Land spie seine Bewohner aus.
26 Kepe ye my lawful thingis and domes, that ye do not of alle these abhomynaciouns, as wel a man borun in the lond as a comelyng which is a pilgrym at you.
Ihr aber, ihr sollt meine Satzungen und meine Rechte beobachten, und ihr sollt nichts tun von allen diesen Greueln, der Eingeborene und der Fremdling, der in eurer Mitte weilt, -
27 For the dwellers of the lond, that weren bifor you, diden alle these abhomynaciouns, and defouliden that lond.
denn alle diese Greuel haben die Leute dieses Landes getan, die vor euch waren, und das Land ist verunreinigt worden, -
28 Therfor be ye war, lest it caste out viliche also you in lijk manere, whanne ye han do lijk synnes, as it castide out vileche the folk, that was bifor you.
damit das Land euch nicht ausspeie, wenn ihr es verunreiniget, so wie es die Nation ausgespieen hat, die vor euch war:
29 Ech man that doith ony thing of these abhomynaciouns, schal perische fro the myddis of his puple.
denn jeder, der einen von allen diesen Greueln tut, die Seelen, die ihn tun, sollen ausgerottet werden aus der Mitte ihres Volkes.
30 Kepe ye myn heestis; nyle ye do tho thingis, whiche thei that weren bifor you diden, and be ye not defoulid in tho; Y am youre Lord God.
Und ihr sollt meine Vorschriften beobachten, daß ihr keine der greulichen Bräuche übet, die vor euch geübt worden sind, und euch nicht durch dieselben verunreiniget. Ich bin Jehova, euer Gott.
