Leviticus 18
1 And the Lord spak to Moises, and seide, Speke thou to the sones of Israel,
HERREN talede fremdeles til Moses og sagde:
2 and thou schalt seie to hem, Y am youre Lord God;
Tal til Israeliterne og sig til dem: Jeg er HERREN eders Gud!
3 ye schulen not do by the custom of the lond of Egipt, in which ye dwelliden; ye schulen not do bi the custom of the cuntrei of Canaan, `to which Y schal brynge you yn, nethir ye schulen go in the lawful thingis of hem.
Som de handler i Ægypten, hvor I opholdt eder, maa I ikke handle, og som de handler i Kana'ans Land, hvor jeg fører eder hen, maa I ikke handle; I maa ikke vandre efter deres Anordninger.
4 Ye schulen do my domes, and ye schulen kepe myn heestis, and ye schulen go in tho; Y am youre Lord God.
Efter mine Lovbud skal I handle, og mine Anordninger skal I holde, saa I vandrer efter dem; jeg er HERREN eders Gud!
5 Kepe ye my lawis and domes, whiche a man `schal do, and schal lyue in tho; Y am youre Lord God.
I skal holde mine Anordninger og Lovbud; det Menneske, der handler efter dem, skal leve ved dem. Jeg er HERREN!
6 Ech man schal not neiy to the nyy womman of his blood, that he schewe `the filthe of hir; Y am the Lord.
Ingen af eder maa komme sine kødelige Slægtninge nær, saa han blotter deres Blusel. Jeg er HERREN!
7 Thou schalt not diskyuere the filthe of thi fadir and the filthe of thi modir; sche is thi modir, thou schalt not schewe hir filthe.
Din Faders og din Moders Blusel maa du ikke blotte; hun er din Moder, du maa ikke blotte hendes Blusel!
8 Thou schalt not vnhile the filthe of the wijf of thi fadir, for it is the filthe of thi fadir.
Din Faders Hustrus Blusel maa du ikke blotte, det er din Faders Blusel.
9 Thou schalt not schewe the filthe of thi sistir, of fadir `ether of modir, which sister is gendrid at hoome ether without forth.
Din Søsters Blusel, hvad enten hun er din Faders eller din Moders Datter, hvad enten hun er født i eller uden for Hjemmet, hendes Blusel maa du ikke blotte.
10 Thou schalt not schewe the filthe of the douyter of thi sone, ether of neece of thi douyter, for it is thi filthe.

14 Thou schalt not shewe the filthe of the brothir of thi fadir, nethir thou schalt neiye to his wijf, which is ioyned to thee bi affinyte.
Din Farbroders Blusel maa du ikke blotte, du maa ikke komme hans Hustru nær, hun er din Faster.
15 Thou schalt not schewe the filthe of thi sones wijf, for sche is the wijf of thi sone, nether thou schalt diskiuere hir schenschip; and no man take his brotheris wijf.

16 Thou schalt not schewe the filthe of `the wijf of thi brother, for it is the filthe of thi brothir.

17 Thou schalt not schewe the filthe of thi wijf, and of hir douyter; thou schalt not take the douytir of hir sone, and the douytir of hir douyter, that thou schewe hir schenschip; thei ben the fleisch of hir, and siche letcherie is incest.
En Kvindes og hendes Datters Blusel maa du ikke blotte, heller ikke maa du ægte hendes Sønnedatter eller Datterdatter, saa at du blotter hendes Blusel; de er hendes kødelige Slægtninge; det er grov Utugt.
18 Thou schalt not take `the sister of thi wijf, in to concubynage of hir, nethir thou schalt schewe `the filthe of hir, while thi wijf lyueth yit.
Søster maa du ikke tage til Søsters Medhustru, saa længe Søsteren lever, saa du blotter baade den enes og den andens Blusel.
19 Thou schalt not neiye to a womman that suffrith rennyng of blood of monethe, nethir thou schalt schewe hir filthe.
Du maa ikke komme en Kvinde nær under hendes maanedlige Urenhed, saa du blotter hendes Blusel.
20 Thou schalt not do letcherie with `the wijf of thi neiybore, nether thou schalt be defoulid with medlyng of seed.
Med din Næstes Hustru maa du ikke have Samleje, saa du bliver uren ved hende.
21 Thou schalt not yyue of thi seed, that it be offrid to the idol Moloch, nether thou schalt defoule the name of thi God; Y am the Lord.
Dit Afkom maa du ikke give hen til at ofres til Molok; du maa ikke vanhellige din Guds Navn. Jeg er HERREN!
22 Thou schalt not be medlid with a man bi letcherie of womman, for it is abhomynacioun.
Hos en Mand maa du ikke ligge, som man ligger hos en Kvinde; det er en Vederstyggelighed.
23 Thou schalt not do letcherie with ony beeste, nethir thou schalt be defoulid with it. A womman schal not ligge vnder a beeste, nether schal be medlid therwith, for it is greet synne.
Med intet som helst Dyr maa du have Omgang, saa du bliver uren derved; en Kvinde maa ikke stille sig hen for et Dyr til kønslig Omgang; det er en Skændsel.
24 Be ye not defoulid in alle these thingis, in whiche alle `folkis, ether hethen men, ben defoulid, whiche folkis Y schal caste out bifor youre siyt,
Gør eder ikke urene med noget saadant, thi med alt saadant har de Folkeslag, jeg driver bort foran eder, gjort sig urene.
25 of whiche the lond is defoulid, of which lond Y schal vysyte the grete synnes, that it spewe out hise dwellers.
Derved blev Landet urent, og jeg straffede det for dets Brøde, og Landet udspyede sine Indbyggere.
26 Kepe ye my lawful thingis and domes, that ye do not of alle these abhomynaciouns, as wel a man borun in the lond as a comelyng which is a pilgrym at you.
Hold derfor mine Anordninger og Lovbud og øv ikke nogen af disse Vederstyggeligheder, det gælder baade den indfødte og den fremmede, der bor iblandt eder —
27 For the dwellers of the lond, that weren bifor you, diden alle these abhomynaciouns, and defouliden that lond.

29 Ech man that doith ony thing of these abhomynaciouns, schal perische fro the myddis of his puple.
Thi enhver, som øver nogen af alle disse Vederstyggeligheder, de, der øver dem, skal udryddes af deres Folk.
30 Kepe ye myn heestis; nyle ye do tho thingis, whiche thei that weren bifor you diden, and be ye not defoulid in tho; Y am youre Lord God.
Saa hold mine Forskrifter, saa I ikke øver nogen af de vederstyggelige Skikke, som øvedes før eders Tid, at I ikke skal gøre eder urene ved dem. Jeg er HERREN eders Gud!
