< Leviticus 13 >

1 The Lord spak to Moyses and Aaron, and seide,
and to speak: speak LORD to(wards) Moses and to(wards) Aaron to/for to say
2 A man in whos skyn and fleisch rysith dyuerse colour, ether whelke, ethir as `sum schynynge thing, that is, a wounde of lepre, he schal be brouyt to Aaron preest, ether to oon `who euer of hise sones;
man for to be in/on/with skin flesh his elevation or scab or bright spot and to be in/on/with skin flesh his to/for plague leprosy and to come (in): bring to(wards) Aaron [the] priest or to(wards) one from son: child his [the] priest
3 and whanne he seeth lepre in the skyn, and the heeris chaungide in to whijte colour, and that spice of lepre lowere than the tother skyn and fleisch, it is a wounde of lepre, and he schal be departid at the `doom of the preest.
and to see: see [the] priest [obj] [the] plague in/on/with skin [the] flesh and hair in/on/with plague to overturn white and appearance [the] plague deep from skin flesh his plague leprosy he/she/it and to see: see him [the] priest and to defile [obj] him
4 Sotheli if schynyng whijtnesse is in the skyn, nethir is lower than the tother fleisch, and the heeris ben of the formere colour, the preest schal close hym seuene daies;
and if bright spot white he/she/it in/on/with skin flesh his and deep nothing appearance her from [the] skin and hair her not to overturn white and to shut [the] priest [obj] [the] plague seven day
5 and schal biholde hym in the seuenthe dai, and sotheli if the lepre wexith not ferther, nethir passith the formere termes in the fleisch, eft the preest schal close hym ayen seuene other daies;
and to see: see him [the] priest in/on/with day [the] seventh and behold [the] plague to stand: stand in/on/with eye his not to spread [the] plague in/on/with skin and to shut him [the] priest seven day second
6 and schal biholde in the seuenthe day, if the lepre is derkere, and wexith not in the fleisch, the preest schal clense hym, for it is a scabbe; and the man schal waische hise clothis, and he schal be clene.
and to see: see [the] priest [obj] him in/on/with day [the] seventh second and behold to grow dim [the] plague and not to spread [the] plague in/on/with skin and be pure him [the] priest scab he/she/it and to wash garment his and be pure
7 That if the lepre wexith eft, aftir that he is seyn of the preest, and is yoldun to clennesse, he schal be brouyt to the preest, and schal be demed of vnclennesse.
and if to spread to spread [the] scab in/on/with skin after to see: see he to(wards) [the] priest to/for purifying his and to see: see second to(wards) [the] priest
8 If the wounde of lepre is in man, he schal be brouyt to the preest, and he schal se the man;
and to see: see [the] priest and behold to spread [the] scab in/on/with skin and to defile him [the] priest leprosy he/she/it
9 and whanne whijt colour is in the fleisch, and chaungith the siyt of heeris, and thilke fleisch apperith quyk,
plague leprosy for to be in/on/with man and to come (in): bring to(wards) [the] priest
10 it schal be demid eldest lepre, and growun to the skyn; therfor the preest schal defoule hym,
and to see: see [the] priest and behold elevation white in/on/with skin and he/she/it to overturn hair white and recovery flesh alive in/on/with elevation
11 and he schal not close eft, for it is of opyn vnclennesse.
leprosy to sleep he/she/it in/on/with skin flesh his and to defile him [the] priest not to shut him for unclean he/she/it
12 But if lepre rennynge about in the skyn `flourith out, and hilith al the fleisch, fro the heed til to the feet, what euer thing fallith vndur the siyt of iyen; the preest schal biholde hym,
and if to break out to break out [the] leprosy in/on/with skin and to cover [the] leprosy [obj] all skin [the] plague from head his and till foot his to/for all appearance eye [the] priest
13 and schal deme `that he is holdun with clenneste lepre, for all the skyn is turned in to whijtnesse, and therfor the man schal be cleene.
and to see: see [the] priest and behold to cover [the] leprosy [obj] all flesh his and be pure [obj] [the] plague all his to overturn white pure he/she/it
14 Sotheli whanne quyk fleisch apperith in hym,
and in/on/with day to see: see in/on/with him flesh alive to defile
15 thanne he schal be defoulid bi the doom of the preest, and he schal be arettid among vncleene men; for quyk fleisch is vnclene, if it is spreynt with lepre.
and to see: see [the] priest [obj] [the] flesh [the] alive and to defile him [the] flesh [the] alive unclean he/she/it leprosy he/she/it
16 That if the fleisch is turned eft in to whijtnesse, and hilith al the man,
or for to return: rescue [the] flesh [the] alive and to overturn to/for white and to come (in): come to(wards) [the] priest
17 the preest schal biholde hym, and schal deme, that he is cleene.
and to see: see him [the] priest and behold to overturn [the] plague to/for white and be pure [the] priest [obj] [the] plague pure he/she/it
18 Fleisch and skyn, in which a botche is bred,
and flesh for to be in/on/with him in/on/with skin his boil and to heal
19 and is heelid, and `a step of wounde apperith whijt, ethir `sum deel reed, `in the place of the botche, the man schal be brouyt to the preest;
and to be in/on/with place [the] boil elevation white or bright spot white reddish and to see: see to(wards) [the] priest
20 and whanne the preest seeth the place of lepre lowere than the tother fleisch, and the heeris turned in to whijtnesse, the preest schal defoule hym; for the wounde of lepre is bred in the botche.
and to see: see [the] priest and behold appearance her low from [the] skin and hair her to overturn white and to defile him [the] priest plague leprosy he/she/it in/on/with boil to break out
21 That if the heer is of the former colour, and the signe of wounde is sumdeel derk, and is not lowere than the `nyy fleisch, the preest schal close the man seuene daies;
and if to see: see her [the] priest and behold nothing in/on/with her hair white and low nothing she from [the] skin and he/she/it faint and to shut him [the] priest seven day
22 and sotheli, if it wexith, the preest schal deme the man of lepre;
and if to spread to spread in/on/with skin and to defile [the] priest [obj] him plague he/she/it
23 forsothe if it stondith in his place, it is a signe of botche, and the man schal be cleene.
and if underneath: stand her to stand: stand [the] bright spot not to spread scar [the] boil he/she/it and be pure him [the] priest
24 Fleisch and skyn, which the fier hath brent, and is heelid, and hath a whijt ethir reed `signe of wounde,
or flesh for to be in/on/with skin his burn fire and to be recovery [the] burn bright spot white reddish or white
25 the preest schal biholde it, and lo! if it is turned in to whijtnesse, and the place therof is lowere than the tothir skyn, the preest schal defoule the man, for a wounde of lepre is bred in the `signe of wounde.
and to see: see [obj] her [the] priest and behold to overturn hair white in/on/with bright spot and appearance her deep from [the] skin leprosy he/she/it in/on/with burn to break out and to defile [obj] him [the] priest plague leprosy he/she/it
26 That if the colour of heeris is not chaungid, nether the wounde is lowere than the tother fleisch, and thilke spice of lepre is sumdeel derk, the preest schal close the man bi seuene daies;
and if to see: see her [the] priest and behold nothing in/on/with bright spot hair white and low nothing she from [the] skin and he/she/it faint and to shut him [the] priest seven day
27 and in the seuenthe dai he schal biholde; if the lepre wexith in the fleisch, the preest schal defoule the man;
and to see: see him [the] priest in/on/with day [the] seventh if to spread to spread in/on/with skin and to defile [the] priest [obj] him plague leprosy he/she/it
28 ellis if the whijtnesse stondith in his place, and is not cleer ynow, it is a wounde of brennyng, and therfor the man schal be clensid, for it is a signe of brennyng.
and if underneath: stand her to stand: stand [the] bright spot not to spread in/on/with skin and he/she/it faint elevation [the] burn he/she/it and be pure him [the] priest for scar [the] burn he/she/it
29 A man ethir womman, in whos heed ether beerd lepre buriounneth, the preest schal se hem;
and man or woman for to be in/on/with him plague in/on/with head or in/on/with beard
30 and if the place is lowere than the tothir fleisch, and the heer is whijt, `and is sotilere, `ether smallere, than it is wont, the preest schal defoule hem, for it is lepre of the heed, and of the beerd.
and to see: see [the] priest [obj] [the] plague and behold appearance his deep from [the] skin and in/on/with him hair yellow thin and to defile [obj] him [the] priest scab he/she/it leprosy [the] head or [the] beard he/she/it
31 Ellis if he seeth the place of wem euene with the nyy fleisch, and seeth the here blak, the preest schal close hem bi seuene daies, and schal se in the seuenthe dai;
and for to see: see [the] priest [obj] plague [the] scab and behold nothing appearance his deep from [the] skin and hair black nothing in/on/with him and to shut [the] priest [obj] plague [the] scab seven day
32 if the wem waxith not, and the heer is of his colour, and the place of wounde is euene with the tother fleisch,
and to see: see [the] priest [obj] [the] plague in/on/with day [the] seventh and behold not to spread [the] scab and not to be in/on/with him hair yellow and appearance [the] scab nothing deep from [the] skin
33 the man schal be schauun, without the place of wem, and he schal be closid eft bi seuene othere daies.
and to shave and [obj] [the] scab not to shave and to shut [the] priest [obj] [the] scab seven day second
34 If in the seuenthe day the wounde is seyn to haue stonde in his place, nether is lowere than the tother fleisch, the preest schal clense the man; and whanne his clothis ben waischun, he schal be cleene.
and to see: see [the] priest [obj] [the] scab in/on/with day [the] seventh and behold not to spread [the] scab in/on/with skin and appearance his nothing he deep from [the] skin and be pure [obj] him [the] priest and to wash garment his and be pure
35 Ellis if aftir the clensyng a spotte wexith eft in the skyn,
and if to spread to spread [the] scab in/on/with skin after purifying his
36 the preest schal no more enquere, whether the heer is chaungid in to whijt colour, for apeertli he is vncleene.
and to see: see him [the] priest and behold to spread [the] scab in/on/with skin not to enquire [the] priest to/for hair [the] yellow unclean he/she/it
37 Sotheli if the spotte stondith, and the heeris ben blake, knowe the preest that the man is heelid, and tristili `pronounce he the man cleene.
and if in/on/with eye his to stand: stand [the] scab and hair black to spring in/on/with him to heal [the] scab pure he/she/it and be pure him [the] priest
38 A man ethir a womman, in whos skyn whijtnesse apperith, the preest schal biholde hem;
and man or woman for to be in/on/with skin flesh their bright spot bright spot white
39 if he perseyueth, that whijtnesse `sum deel derk schyneth in the skyn, wite he, that it is no lepre, but a spotte of whijt colour, and that the man is cleene.
and to see: see [the] priest and behold in/on/with skin flesh their bright spot faint white spot he/she/it to break out in/on/with skin pure he/she/it
40 A man of whos heed heeris fleten awei, is calu, and clene;
and man: anyone for to smooth head his bald he/she/it pure he/she/it
41 and if heeris fallen fro the forheed, he is ballid,
and if from side face his to smooth head his bald he/she/it pure he/she/it
42 and is cleene; ellis if in the ballidnesse bifore, ether in the ballidnesse bihynde, whijt ether reed colour is bred, and the preest seeth this,
and for to be in/on/with baldness or in/on/with baldness plague white reddish leprosy to break out he/she/it in/on/with baldness his or in/on/with baldness his
43 he schal condempne the man without doute of lepre, which is bred in the ballidnesse.
and to see: see [obj] him [the] priest and behold elevation [the] plague white reddish in/on/with baldness his or in/on/with baldness his like/as appearance leprosy skin flesh
44 Therfor whoeuer is defoulid with lepre, and is departid at the doom of the preest,
man be leprous he/she/it unclean he/she/it to defile to defile him [the] priest in/on/with head his plague his
45 he schal haue hise clothis vnsewid, bareheed, the mouth hilid with a cloth, he schal crye hym silf defoulid, and viyl;
and [the] be leprous which in/on/with him [the] plague garment his to be to tear and head his to be to neglect and upon mustache to enwrap and unclean unclean to call: call out
46 in al tyme in which he is lepre and vnclene, he schal dwelle aloone without the castels.
all day which [the] plague in/on/with him to defile unclean he/she/it isolation to dwell from outside to/for camp seat his
47 A wollun cloth, ethir lynnun, that hath lepre in the warp,
and [the] garment for to be in/on/with him plague leprosy in/on/with garment wool or in/on/with garment flax
48 ethir oof, ethir certis a skyn, ether what euer thing is maad of skiyn,
or in/on/with warp or in/on/with mixture to/for flax and to/for wool or in/on/with skin or in/on/with all work skin
49 if it is corrupt with a whijt spotte, ethir reed, it schal be arettid lepre, and it schal be schewid to the preest;
and to be [the] plague greenish or reddish in/on/with garment or in/on/with skin or in/on/with warp or in/on/with mixture or in/on/with all article/utensil skin plague leprosy he/she/it and to see: see [obj] [the] priest
50 which schal close it biholden bi seuene daies.
and to see: see [the] priest [obj] [the] plague and to shut [obj] [the] plague seven day
51 And eft he schal biholde in the seuenthe dai, and if he perseyueth, that it wexide, it schal be contynuel lepre; he schal deme the cloth defoulid, and al thing in which it is foundun;
and to see: see [obj] [the] plague in/on/with day [the] seventh for to spread [the] plague in/on/with garment or in/on/with warp or in/on/with mixture or in/on/with skin to/for all which to make: do [the] skin to/for work leprosy to malign [the] plague unclean he/she/it
52 and therfor the cloth schal be brent in flawmes.
and to burn [obj] [the] garment or [obj] [the] warp or [obj] [the] mixture in/on/with wool or in/on/with flax or [obj] all article/utensil [the] skin which to be in/on/with him [the] plague for leprosy to malign he/she/it in/on/with fire to burn
53 That if he seeth that the spotte wexide not, he schal comaunde,
and if to see: see [the] priest and behold not to spread [the] plague in/on/with garment or in/on/with warp or in/on/with mixture or in/on/with all article/utensil skin
54 and thei schulen waische that thing wherynne the lepre is, and he schal close it ayen bi seuene othere daies;
and to command [the] priest and to wash [obj] which in/on/with him [the] plague and to shut him seven day second
55 and whanne he seeth the formere face not turned ayen, netheles that nether the lepre wexede, he schal deme that thing vnclene, and he schal brenne it in fier, for lepre is sched in the ouer part of the cloth, ether thorouy al.
and to see: see [the] priest after to wash [obj] [the] plague and behold not to overturn [the] plague [obj] eye: appearance his and [the] plague not to spread unclean he/she/it in/on/with fire to burn him eating he/she/it in/on/with baldness his or in/on/with baldness his
56 Ellis if the `place of lepre is derkere, aftir that the cloth is waischun, he schal breke awey that place, and schal departe fro the hool.
and if to see: see [the] priest and behold to grow dim [the] plague after to wash [obj] him and to tear [obj] him from [the] garment or from [the] skin or from [the] warp or from [the] mixture
57 That if fleynge lepre and vnstidefast apperith ferthermore in these places, that weren vnwemmed bifore, it owith be brent in fier; if it ceessith,
and if to see: see still in/on/with garment or in/on/with warp or in/on/with mixture or in/on/with all article/utensil skin to sprout he/she/it in/on/with fire to burn him [obj] which in/on/with him [the] plague
58 he schal waische the secounde tyme tho thingis that ben cleene, and tho schulen be cleene.
and [the] garment or [the] warp or [the] mixture or all article/utensil [the] skin which to wash and to turn aside: depart from them [the] plague and to wash second and be pure
59 This is the lawe of lepre of cloth, wollun and lynnun, of warp and of oof, and of al purtenaunce of skiyn, hou it owith to be clensyd, ethir `to be defoulid.
