Lamentations 5
1 Lord, haue thou mynde what bifelle to vs; se thou, and biholde oure schenschipe.
हे परमप्रभु, हामीमाथि जे भएको छ, सो सम्झनुहोस् । हाम्रो अपमान हेर्नुहोस्, र विचार गर्नुहोस् ।
2 Oure eritage is turned to aliens, oure housis ben turned to straungers.
हाम्रो उत्तराधिकार पराईहरू र हाम्रा घरहरू विदेशीहरूलाई दिइए ।
3 We ben maad fadirles children with out fadir; oure modris ben as widewis.
हामी अनाथ, पितृहीन भएका छौँ, र हाम्रा आमाहरू विधवाजस्ता छन् ।
4 We drunken oure watir for monei, we bouyten oure trees for siluer.
हामीले पिउने पानीको लागि र हाम्रै दाउरा किन्न हामीले चाँदीको दाम तिर्नुपर्छ ।
5 We weren dryuun bi oure heedis, and reste was not youun to feynt men.
हामीलाई पछ्याउनेहरू हाम्रो छेउमा छन् । हामी थाकेका छौँ, र हामीलाई चैन छैन ।
6 We yauen hond to Egipt, and to Assiriens, that we schulden be fillid with breed.
पर्याप्त खानाको लागि हामीले आफैलाई मिश्र र अश्शूरमा सुम्पिदिएका छौँ ।
7 Oure fadris synneden, and ben not, and we baren the wickidnessis of hem.
हाम्रा पिता-पुर्खाहरूलेपाप गरे, र अब तिनीहरू छैनन्, र हामीले तिनीहरूका अधर्मको फल भोग्दछौँ ।
8 Seruauntis weren lordis of vs, and noon was, that ayenbouyte fro the hond of hem.
कमाराहरूले हामीमाथि शासन गर्छन्, र हामीलाई तिनीहरूको हातबाट छुटकारा दिने कोही छैन ।
9 In oure lyues we brouyten breed to vs, fro the face of swerd in desert.
उजाड-स्थानमा भएको तरवारको कारण हाम्रा जीवन जोखिममा पारेर मात्रै हामी रोटी पाउँछौँ ।
10 Oure skynne is brent as a furneis, of the face of tempestis of hungur.
भोकको रापले गर्दा हाम्रो छाला चुलोझैँ तातिएको छ ।
11 Thei maden low wymmen in Sion, and virgyns in the citees of Juda.
सियोनमा स्त्रीहरू र यहूदाका सहरहरूमा कन्याहरू बलत्कार गरिएका छन् ।
12 Princes weren hangid bi the hond; thei weren not aschamed of the faces of elde men.
राजकुमारहरू तिनीहरूका आफ्नै हातद्वारा झुण्ड्याइएका छन्, र धर्म-गुरुहरूलाई कुनै आदर देखाइएको छैन ।
13 Thei mysusiden yonge wexynge men vnchastli, and children fellen doun in tree.
युवाहरू जाँतोमा अन्न पिँध्न बाध्य पारिएका छन्, र ठिटाहरू दाउराको भारीले थिचिएर लडबडाउँदै हिँड्छन् ।
14 Elde men failiden fro yatis; yonge men failiden of the queer of singeris.
धर्म-गुरुहरूले सहरको मूल ढोका छोडेका छन्, र युवाहरूले तिनीहरूको सङ्गीत छोडिदिएका छन् ।
15 The ioie of oure herte failide; oure song is turned in to mourenyng.
हाम्रो हृदयको आनन्द हटेको छ, र हाम्रो नाच शोकमा परिणत भएको छ ।
16 The coroun of oure heed fellen doun; wo to vs! for we synneden.
मुकुट हाम्रो शिरबाट खसेको छ । हामीलाई धिक्कार छ! किनकि हामीले पाप गरेका छौँ ।
17 Therfor oure herte is maad soreuful, therfor oure iyen ben maad derk.
हाम्रो यो हृदय दुर्बल भएको छ, र यिनै कुराको कारण हाम्रो आँखा धमिलिएका छन् ।
18 For the hil of Sion, for it perischide; foxis yeden in it.
सियोन पर्वत उजाड छ, जहाँ स्यालहरू घुमिहिँड्छन् ।
19 But thou, Lord, schal dwelle with outen ende; thi seete schal dwelle in generacioun and in to generacioun.
तर हे परमप्रभु, तपाईंले सदासर्वदा शासन गर्नुहुन्छ, र तपाईं पुस्तादेखि पुस्तासम्म आफ्नो सिंहासनमा विराजमान हुनुहुने छ ।
20 Whi schalt thou foryete vs with outen ende, schalt thou forsake vs in to lengthe of daies?
तपाईंले हामीलाई किन सदाको निम्ति बिर्सनुहुन्छ? तपाईंले हामीलाई यति धेरै दिनसम्म किन त्याग्नुहुन्छ?
21 Lord, conuerte thou vs to thee, and we schal be conuertid; make thou newe oure daies, as at the bigynnyng.
हे परमप्रभु, हामीलाई पुनर्स्थापना गर्नुहोस्, र हामी पुनर्स्थापित हुने छौँ ।
22 But thou castynge awei hast cast awei vs; thou art wrooth ayens vs greetli.
तपाईंले हामीलाई बिलकुलै इन्कार गर्नुभएको छैन, र सम्झनै नसक्ने गरी तपाईं हामीसित रिसाउनुभएको छैन भने धेरै पहिले भएजस्तै हाम्रा दिन नवीकरण गरिदिनुहोस् ।
