Judges 2
1 And the aungel of the Lord stiede fro Galgala to the place of weperis, and seide, Y ledde you out of Egipt, and Y brouyte you in to the lond, `for which Y swoor to youre fadris, and bihiyte, that Y schulde not make void my couenaunt with you in to with outen ende;
Mmụọ ozi Onyenwe anyị sitere na Gilgal bịa Bokim gwa ndị Izrel okwu sị ha, “Mụ onwe m kpọpụtara unu site nʼIjipt, kpọbata unu nʼala a dịka m kwere nna unu ha na nkwa. Asịrị m, ‘Agaghị m ala azụ imezu ọgbụgba ndụ mụ na unu,
2 so oneli that ye schulde not smyte boond of pees with the dwelleris of this lond, and schulden distrie `the auteris of hem; and ye nolden here my vois. Whi diden ye these thingis?
unu na ndị bi nʼobodo ahụ agbakwala ndụ ọbụla, kama unu ga-etitu ebe ịchụ aja ha.’ Ma unu erubeghị isi nʼokwu a, gịnị mere unu emeghị nke a?
3 Wherfore Y nolde do hem awei fro youre face, that ye haue enemyes, and that `the goddis of hem be to you in to fallyng.
Agwara m unu, na ‘agaghị m esite nʼihu unu chụpụ ha; ha ga-adịrị unu dịka ọnya nʼakụkụ niile, ebe chi niile ha ga-abụkwara unu ihe na-eweta ọnwụnwa.’”
4 And whanne the `aungel of the Lord spak these wordis to alle the sones of Israel, thei reisiden her vois, and wepten; and the name of that place was clepid,
Mgbe Mmụọ ozi Onyenwe anyị ahụ kwusiri okwu ndị a, ụmụ Izrel niile kwara akwa nke ukwuu.
5 of weperis, ether of teeris; and thei offriden there sacrifices to the Lord.
Nʼihi nke a, ha kpọrọ ebe ahụ Bokim. Ha chụụrụ Onyenwe anyị aja nʼebe ahụ.
6 Therfor Josue lefte the puple; and the sones of Israel wenten forth, ech man in to his possessioun, that thei schulden gete it.
Mgbe Joshua zilagasịrị ndị Izrel niile, onye ọbụla nʼime ha gara nʼihe nketa ya, inweta ya, dịka ebo ọbụla dị nʼIzrel si dị.
7 And thei serueden the Lord in alle the daies of Josue, and of eldere men that lyueden aftir hym in long tyme, and knewen alle the grete werkis of the Lord, whiche he hadde do with Israel.
Ndị Izrel fereOnyenwe anyị ofufe ụbọchị niile nke ndụ Joshua, na nke ndụ ndị okenye ahụ, bụ ndị gara nʼihu bie ndụ mgbe ọ nwụsịrị, bụkwa ndị hụrụ ọrụ ukwuu niile nke Onyenwe anyị rụụrụ ndị Izrel.
8 Forsothe Josue, sone of Nun, `seruaunt of the Lord, `was deed of an hundrid yeer and ten;
Ma Joshua, nwa Nun, onyeozi Onyenwe anyị nwụrụ, mgbe ọ gbara otu narị afọ, na afọ iri.
9 and thei birieden hym in the endis of his possessioun, in Thannath of Sare, in the hil of Effraym, at the north coost of the hil Gaas.
E liri ya nʼoke ala nke ihe nketa ya, nʼobodo Timnat Heres, nʼala ugwu ugwu nke ebo Ifrem, nʼụzọ mgbago ugwu Gaash.
10 And al that generacioun was gaderid to her fadris; and othere men riseden, that knewen not the Lord, and the werkis whiche he `hadde do with Israel.
Emesịa, ọgbọ ahụ niile nwụrụ dịka ndị nna nna ha, ọgbọ ọzọ tolitere, ndị na-amaghị Onyenwe anyị maọbụ ihe ndị nke o mere nye ụmụ Izrel.
11 And the sones of Israel diden yuel in the siyt of the Lord, and thei serueden Baalym and Astaroth;
Mgbe ahụ, ndị Izrel mere ihe ọjọọ nʼanya Onyenwe anyị site nʼife Baal ofufe.
12 and forsoken the Lord God of her fadris, that ledden hem out of the lond of Egipt; and thei sueden alien goddis, the goddis of puplis, that dwelliden in `the cumpasse of hem, and worschipeden tho goddis, and excitiden the Lord to greet wraththe, and forsoken hym,
Ha gbakụtara Onyenwe anyị azụ, bụ Chineke ahụ, nna ha fere ofufe, onye kpọpụtara ha site nʼala Ijipt. Ma ha malitere ife na ịsọpụrụ, na ịkpọ isiala nye ọtụtụ chi dị iche iche, bụ chi nke ndị bi ha gburugburu. Ha si otu a kpasuo Onyenwe anyị iwe.
13 and serueden Baal and Astoroth.
Ha gbakụtara Onyenwe anyị azụ, fee chi Baal na Ashtọret ofufe.
14 And the Lord was wrooth ayens Israel, and bitook hem in to the hondis of rauyscheris, whiche rauyscheris token hem, and seelden to enemyes, that dwelliden `bi cumpas; and thei myyten not ayenstonde her aduersaries;
Ya mere, Onyenwe anyị were iwe megide Izrel, rara ha nye nʼaka ndị ji aka ike pụnara ha ihe ha nwere. O weere ha resi ndị iro ha gbara ha gburugburu, bụ ndị ha enwekwaghị ike iguzogide.
15 but whidir euer thei wolden go, the hond of the Lord was on hem, as he spak and swoor to hem; and thei weren turmentid greetli.
Dịka ọ ṅụrụ ya nʼiyi nye ha, mgbe ọbụla ụmụ Izrel pụrụ ibu agha, aka Onyenwe anyị megidere ha ime ka ha bụrụ ndị e meriri emeri. Ọnọdụ ha jọrọ njọ nke ukwuu.
16 And the Lord reiside iugis, that `delyueriden hem fro the hondis of destrieris, but thei nolden here hem,
Nʼihi ọnọdụ ọjọọ a, Onyenwe anyị mere ka ndị ikpe sị nʼetiti ha pụta, ịnapụta ha site nʼaka ndị a ji ike na-apụnara ha ihe ha nwere.
17 and thei diden fornycacioun, `that is, idolatrie, with alien goddis, and worschipiden hem. Soone thei forsoken the weie, bi which `the fadris of hem entriden; and thei herden the `comaundementis of the Lord, and diden alle thingis contrarie.
Ma ụmụ Izrel egeghị ndị ikpe ahụ ntị, kama ha nọgidere na-akpọ isiala nye ma na-agbasokwa chi ndị ọzọ. Dịka nna nna ha na-emeghị, ha mere ngwangwa wezuga onwe ha site nʼụzọ Onyenwe anyị, bụrụ ndị na-enupu isi nʼebe iwu Onyenwe anyị dị.
18 And whanne the Lord reiside iugis in `the daies of hem, he was bowid bi mercy, and he herde the weilyngis of hem turmentid, and he delyuerede hem fro the sleyng of wasteris.
Ma mgbe ọbụla Onyenwe anyị nyere ụmụ Izrel onye ikpe, ọ na-anọnyere onye ikpe ahụ ogologo ụbọchị niile nke ndụ ya. Ọ na-esitekwa nʼaka onye ikpe a napụta ụmụ Izrel nʼaka ndị iro ha nʼihi na Onyenwe anyị nwere obi ebere nʼahụ ụmụ Izrel, mgbe ha na-asụ ude, nʼihi mmegbu na mkpagbu niile ndị iro ha na-emegbu ha, ma na-akpagbukwa ha.
19 Sotheli aftir that the iuge was deed, thei turneden ayen, and diden many thingis grettere `in yuel than her fadris diden; and thei sueden alien goddis, and serueden hem, and worschipiden hem; thei leften not her owne fyndyngis, and the hardeste weie `bi which thei weren wont to go.
Ma mgbe ọbụla onye ikpe a nwụrụ, ụmụ Izrel na-alaghachi azụ biwe ndụ ọjọọ karịa nke nna nna ha ochie. Ha na-agbaso chi ndị ọzọ, na-akpọ isiala nye ha, na ife ha ofufe. Ha jụrụ iwezuga agwa ọjọọ ha ndị a ma ọ bụkwa ụzụ isiike ha.
20 And the strong veniaunce of the Lord was wrooth ayens Israel, and he seide, For this puple hath maad voide my couenaunt which Y couenauntide with her fadris, and dispiside to here my vois; also Y schal not do a wey folkis,
Nʼihi nke a, Onyenwe anyị were iwe dị ọkụ megide Izrel, ma sị, “Nʼihi na mba a emebiela ọgbụgba ndụ ahụ m nyere nna ha nʼiwu, jụkwa ige m ntị,
21 whiche Josue `lefte, and was deed;
agaghị m achụpụkwa site nʼihu ha mba ndị ahụ Joshua hapụrụ mgbe ọ nwụrụ.
22 that in hem Y asaie Israel, whether thei kepen the weie of the Lord, and goen ther ynne, as her fadris kepten, ether nay.
Aga m eji ha nwalee Izrel, ịchọpụta ma ha ga-elezi anya idebe ụzọ Onyenwe anyị, gaakwa ije nʼime ya dịka nna nna ha mere m.”
23 Therfor the Lord lefte alle these naciouns, and nolde destrie soone, nethir bitook in to the hondis of Josue.
Onyenwe anyị hapụrụ mba ndị ahụ niile ka ha nọgide. Ọ chụpụghị ha ngwangwa site na inyefe ha nʼaka Joshua.
