Joshua 7

Bo gdy posłał Jozue kilka mężów z Jerycha do Haj, które było blisko Betawen na wschód słońca od Betel, i rzekł do nich, mówiąc: Idźcie, a wyszpiegujcie ziemię; tedy szedłszy oni mężowie, wyszpiegowali Haj.

A wróciwszy się do Jozuego, rzekli mu: Niech nie ciągnie wszystek lud; około dwóch tysięcy mężów, albo około trzech tysięcy mężów niech idą, a zburzą Haj; nie trudź tam wszystkiego ludu, bo ich tam trocha.

7 And Josue seide, Alas! alas! Lord God, what woldist thou lede this puple ouer the flood Jordan, that thou schuldist bitake vs in the hond of Ammorrey, and schulde leese vs? Y wolde, that as we bygunnen, we hadden dwellid biyondis Jordan.
Zatem rzekł Jozue: Ach! Panie Panujący, przeczżeś przeprowadził lud ten za Jordan, abyś nas podał w rękę Amorejczyka na wytracenie? O byśmy byli raczej mieszkali za Jordanem!
8 My Lord God, what schal Y seie, seynge Israel turnynge the backis to hise enemyes?

10 And the Lord seide to Josue, Rise thou; whi liggist thou low in the erthe?
Tedy rzekł Pan do Jozuego: Wstań; przeczżeś upadł na oblicze twoje?
11 Israel synnede, and brak my couenaunt; and thei token of the halewid thing, and thei han stole, and lieden, and hidden among her vessels.
Zgrzeszył Izrael, i przestąpili przymierze moje, którem im przykazał; albowiem wzięli z rzeczy przeklętych, a ukradli je, i skłamali, i schowali je między naczynie swoje.
12 And Israel may not stonde bifore hise enemyes, and Israel schal fle hem, for it is defoulid with cursyng; Y schal no more be with you, til ye al to breke hym which is gilti of this trespas.

Wstań, poświęć lud i rzeczy: Poświęćcie się na jutro; bo tak mówi Pan, Bóg Izraelski: Przeklęstwo jest w pośrodku ciebie, Izraelu; nie ostoisz się przed nieprzyjacioły twymi, aż odejmiecie przeklęstwo z pośrodku siebie.
14 And ye schulen come eerli, alle men bi youre lynagis; and whateuer lynage the lot schal fynde, it schal come bi hise meynees; and the meynee schal come bi housis, and the hous schal come bi men.
A tak przystąpcie rano według pokoleń waszych; a pokolenie, które okaże Pan, przystąpi według familii; a familija, którą okaże Pan, przystąpi według domów; a dom, który okaże Pan, przystąpi według osób.
15 And whoeuer schal be takun with this trespas, he schal be brent bi fier with al his catel, for he brak the couenaunt of the Lord, and dide vnleueful thing in Israel.

16 Therfor Josue roos eerly, and settide in ordre Israel, bi hise lynagis; and the lynage of Juda was foundun;
Przetoż wstawszy Jozue rano, rozkazał przystępować Izraelowi według pokoleń ich; i znalazło się pokolenie Juda.
17 and whanne that lynage was brouyt forth bi hise meynees, the meyne of Zare was foundun. And Josue brouyte forth it bi men, ethir housis, and foond Zabdi;
I kazał przystąpić familii Juda, i znalazła się familija Zare, i kazał przystąpić familii Zarego według osób, i znalazł się dom Zabdy.
18 whos hows he departide in to alle men bi hemsilf; and he foond Achar, the sone of Charmy, sone of Zabdi, sone of Zare, of the lynage of Juda.
I kazał przystąpić domowi jego według osób, i znalazł się Achan, syn Charmiego, syna Zabdy, syna Zare, z pokolenia Juda.
19 And he seide to Achar, My sone, yyue thou glorie to the Lord God of Israel, and knowleche thou, and schew to me what thou hast do; hide thou not.
I rzekł Jozue do Achana: Synu mój, daj proszę chwałę Panu, Bogu Izraelskiemu, i wyznaj przed nim, a oznajmij mi proszę, coś uczynił, nie taj przede mną.
20 And Achar answeryde to Josue, and seide to hym, Verily, Y synnede bifor the Lord God of Israel, and Y dide `so and so;
Tedy odpowiedział Achan Jozuemu, mówiąc: Zaprawdę, jam zgrzeszył Panu, Bogu Izraelskiemu, tak a tak uczyniłem.
21 for among the spuylis Y siy a reed mentil ful good, and two hundrid siclis of siluer, and a goldun reule of fifti siclis; and Y coueytide, and took awei, and hidde in the erthe, ayens the myddis of my tabernacle; and Y hilide the siluer with erthe doluun.

22 Therfor Josue sente mynystris, whyche runnen to his tabernacle, and foundun alle thingis hid in the same place, and the siluer togidere; and thei token awei fro the tente,
Tedy posłał Jozue posły, którzy bieżeli do namiotu, a oto te rzeczy były skryte w namiocie jego, a srebro pod niemi.
23 and brouyten `tho thingis to Josue, and to alle the sones of Israel; and thei castiden forth bifor the Lord.
A wziąwszy je z namiotu przynieśli je do Jozuego, i do wszystkich synów Izraelskich, a położyli je przed obliczem Pańskiem.
24 Therfor Josue took Achar, the sone of Zare, and the siluer, and the mentil, and the goldun reule, and hise sones, and douytris, oxun, assis, and scheep, and the tabernacle `it silf, and al the purtenaunce of household, and al Israel with Josue; and thei ledden hem to the valei of Achar;
A tak wziąwszy Jozue, i wszystek Izrael z nim, Achana, syna Zarego, i srebro, i płaszcz, i pręt złoty, i syny jego, i córki jego, i woły jego, i osły jego, i owce jego, i namiot jego, i wszystko co miał, wywiedli je na dolinę Achor.
25 where Josue seide, For thou disturblidist vs, the Lord schal disturble thee in this dai. And al Israel stonyde hym; and alle thingis that weren hise, weren wastid bi fier.
I rzekł Jozue: Przeczżeś nas potrwożył? niechże cię też Pan zatrwoży dnia tego. I ukamionował go wszystek Izrael, i spalili je ogniem, ukamionowawszy je kamieńmi;
26 And thei gaderiden on hym a greet heep of stoonys, whiche dwellen til in to present day. And the strong veniaunce of the Lord was turned awei fro hem; and the name of that place was clepid the valey of Achar `til to day.
Potem wystawili na nim wielką kupę kamieni, która trwa aż do dnia tego. I odwrócił się Pan od gniewu zapalczywości swojej; przetoż nazwane jest imię miejsca onego, dolina Achor, aż do dnia dzisiejszego.
