Joshua 24
1 And Josue gaderide alle the lynagis of Israel in to Sechem; and he clepide the grettere men in birthe, and the princes, and iugis, and maistris; and thei stoden in the siyt of the Lord.
Unya gitigom ni Josue ang tanang tribo sa Israel ngadto sa Siquem ug gipatawag ang tanang katigulangan sa Israel, ang ilang mga pangulo, ang ilang mga maghuhukom, ug ang ilang mga opisyal, ug unya gitugyan nila ang ilang mga kaugalingon atubangan sa Dios.
2 And he spak thus to the puple, The Lord God of Israel seith these thingis, Youre fadris dwelliden at the bigynnyng biyende the flood Eufrates, Thare, the fadir of Abraham, and Nachor, and thei serueden alien goddis.
Miingon si Josue sa tanang katawhan, “Mao kini ang giingon ni Yahweh, ang Dios sa Israel, 'Nagpuyo ang inyong mga katigulangan kaniadto tabok sa Suba sa Eufrates—si Tera, ang amahan ni Abraham ug ang amahan ni Nahor—ug unya misimba silag laing mga dios.
3 Therfor Y took youre fadir Abraham fro the coostis of Mesopotanye, and Y brouyte hym in to the lond of Canaan; and Y multipliede `the seed of hym,
Apan gikuha ko ang inyong amahan gikan sa tabok sa Eufrates ug gigiyahan siya ngadto sa yuta sa Canaan, ug gihatagan ko siya ug daghang mga kaliwat pinaagi sa iyang anak nga lalaki nga si Isaac.
4 and Y yaf Isaac to hym; and eft Y yaf to Isaac, Jacob, and Esau, of whiche Y yaf to Esau the hil of Seir, to `haue in possessioun; forsothe Jacob and hise sones yeden doun in to Egipt.
Ug kang Isaac gihatag ko si Jacob ug si Esau. Gihatag ko kang Esau ang kabungtoran sa nasod sa Seir aron inyong angkonon, apan si Jacob ug ang iyang mga anak milugsong sa Ehipto.
5 And Y sente Moises and Aaron, and Y smoot Egipt with many signes and wondris,
Gipadala ko si Moises ug si Aaron, ug gisakit ko ang mga Ehiptohanon pinaagi sa mga hampak. Human niana, gipagawas ko kamo.
6 and Y ledde you and youre fadris out of Egipt. And ye camen to the see, and Egipcians pursueden youre fadris with charis, and multitude of knyytis, `til to the Reed See.
Gidala ko ang inyong mga katigulangan pagawas gikan sa Ehipto, ug miabot kamo sa dagat. Gigukod kamo sa mga Ehiptohanon nga gamit ang mga karwahe ug mga tawong nagkabayo hangtod sa Dagat sa Kabugangan.
7 Forsothe the sones of Israel crieden to the Lord, and he settide derknessis bitwixe you and Egipcians; and he brouyte the see on hem, and hilide hem. Youre iyen sien alle thingis, whiche Y dide in Egipt. And ye dwelliden in wildirnesse in myche tyme.
Sa dihang mitawag ang inyong katigulangan kang Yahweh, gibutang niya ang kangitngit taliwala kaninyo ug sa mga Ehiptohanon. Gidala niya ang dagat aron mopaduol ug magtabon kanila. Nakita ninyo kung unsa ang akong gibuhat sa Ehipto. Unya mipuyo kamo sa kamingawan sa dugay nga panahon.
8 And Y brouyte you in to the lond of Ammorrei, that dwellide biyende Jordan; and whanne thei fouyten ayens you, Y bitook hem in to youre hondis, and ye hadden in possessioun `the lond of hem, and ye killiden hem.
Gidala ko kamo sa yuta sa mga Amorihanon, nga nagpuyo sa pikas bahin sa Jordan. Nakig-away sila kaninyo, ug gihatag ko sila sa inyong kamot. Gipanag-iyahan ninyo ang ilang kayutaan, ug gilaglag ko sila sa inyong atubangan.
9 Sotheli Balach, the sone of Sephor, the king of Moab, roos, and fauyt ayens Israel; and he sente, and clepide Balaam, the sone of Beor, that he schulde curse you.
Unya si Balak nga anak nga lalaki ni Zipor, hari sa Moab, mitindog ug misulong sa Israel. Gipadala niya ug gipatawag si Balaam ang anak nga lalaki ni Beor, aron sa pagtunglo kaninyo.
10 And Y nolde here hym, but ayenward bi hym Y blesside you, and delyuerede you fro hise hondis.
Apan wala ako maminaw kang Balaam. Sa pagkatinuod, gipanalanginan niya kamo. Busa giluwas ko kamo gikan sa iyang kamot.
11 And ye passiden Jordan, and camen to Jerico; and men of that citee fouyten ayens you, Ammorrei, and Feresei, and Cananei, Ethei, and Gergesei, and Euei, and Jebusei; and Y bitook hem in to youre hondis.
Mitabok kamo sa Jordan ug miabot sa Jerico. Nakig-away batok kaninyo ang mga pangulo sa Jerico, uban sa mga Amorihanon, sa mga Perizihanon, sa mga Canaanhon, sa mga Hitihanon, sa mga Girgasihanon, sa mga Hibihanon, ug sa mga Jebusihanon. Gihatagan ko kamo ug kadaogan batok kanila ug gitugyan ko sila ilalom sa inyong pagmando.
12 And Y sente flies with venemouse tongis bifor you, and Y castide hem out of her places; Y kyllide twei kyngis of Ammorreis, not in thi swerd and bowe.
Gipadala ko ang tambuboan sa inyong atubangan, nga maoy nagpapahawa kanila ug sa duha ka mga hari sa Amorihanon sa inyong atubangan. Wala kini nahitabo pinaagi sa inyong mga espada o sa inyong mga pana.
13 And Y yaf to you the lond in which ye traueiliden not, and citees whiche ye bildiden not, that ye schulden dwelle in tho, and vyneris, and places of olyue trees, whiche ye plauntiden not.
Gihatagan ko kamo ug yuta nga wala ninyo gihagoan ug mga siyudad nga wala ninyo gitukod, ug karon nagpuyo kamo niini. Mikaon kamo sa bunga sa kaparasan ug tanaman sa olibo nga wala ninyo gitanom.'
14 Now therfor drede ye the Lord, and serue ye hym with perfite herte and moost trewe; and do ye awei the goddis, to whiche youre fadris seruyden in Mesopotanye, and in Egipt; and serue ye the Lord.
Karon kahadloki si Yahweh ug simbaha siya uban sa tibuok pagkamatarong ug pagkamatinud-anon; isalikway ang mga dios nga gisimba sa inyong mga katigulangan tabok sa Eufrates ug sa Ehipto, ug simbaha si Yahweh.
15 But if it semeth yuel to you, `that ye serue the Lord, chesyng is youun to you; chese ye to you to dai that, that plesith, whom ye owen most to serue; whether to goddis, whiche youre fadris serueden in Mesopotanye, whether to the goddis of Ammorreis, in whose lond ye dwellen; forsothe Y, and myn hows schulen serue the Lord.
Kung sayop alang sa inyong panan-aw ang pagsimba kang Yahweh, pagpili sa inyong kaugalingon karong adlawa kung kinsa ang inyong alagaran, kung ang mga dios ba sa inyong mga katigulangan tabok sa Eufrates, o mga dios sa Amorihanon, nga mao ang yuta nga inyong gipuy-an. Apan alang kanako ug sa akong panimalay, among simbahon si Yahweh.”
16 And al the puple answeride and seide, Fer be it fro vs that we forsake the Lord, and serue alien goddis.
Mitubag ang katawhan ug miingon, “Dili gayod namo isalikway si Yahweh aron mag-alagad sa laing mga dios,
17 `Oure Lord God hym silf ledde vs and oure fadris out of the lond of Egipt, fro the hows of seruage, and dide grete signes in oure siyt; and he kepte vs in al the weie, bi which we yeden, and in alle puplis, bi whiche we passiden; and he castide out alle folkis,
kay si Yahweh nga among Dios maoy nagdala kanamo ug sa among mga katigulangan pagawas gikan sa yuta sa Ehipto, gawas sa balay sa pagkaulipon, ug mibuhat niadtong mga dagkong timaan sa among panan-aw, ug nagbantay kanamo sa tanang mga nasod nga among giagian, ug taliwala sa tanang kanasoran nga among nalabyan.
18 Ammorrei, the dwellere of the lond, in to which we entriden. Therfor we schulen serue the Lord, for he is `oure Lord God.
Ug gipapahawa ni Yahweh ang tanang mga katawhan sa among atubangan, ang mga Amorihanon nga nagpuyo niining yutaa. Busa simbahon usab namo si Yahweh, kay siya ang among Dios.”
19 And Josue seide to the puple, Ye moun not serue the Lord; for God is hooli, and a strong feruent louyere, and he foryyueth not youre trespassis and synnes.
Apan miingon si Josue ngadto sa katawhan, “Dili kamo makaalagad kang Yahweh, kay balaan siya nga Dios; abughoan siya nga Dios; dili niya pasayloon ang inyong mga kalapasan ug mga kasal-anan.
20 If ye forsaken the Lord, and seruen alien goddis, the Lord schal turne `hym silf, and schal turment you, and schal distrie, after that he hath youe goodis to you.
Kung isalikway ninyo si Yahweh ug mosimba sa mga langyaw nga dios, motalikod siya ug maghimo ug daotan diha kaninyo. Laglagon niya kamo, human siya nagbuhat ug maayo diha kaninyo.
21 And the puple seide to Josue, It schal not be so, as thou spekist, but we schulen serue the Lord.
Apan miingon ang katawhan kang Josue, “Dili, simbahon namo si Yahweh.”
22 And Josue seide to the puple, Ye ben witnessis, that ye han chose the Lord to you, that ye serue him. And thei answeriden, We ben witnessis.
Unya miingon si Josue sa katawhan, “Mga saksi kamo batok sa inyong mga kaugalingon nga inyong gipili alang sa inyong kaugalingon si Yahweh, aron mag-alagad kaniya.” Miingon sila, “Mga saksi kami.”
23 Therfor, he seide, Now do ye awei alien goddis fro the myddis of you, and bowe ye youre hertis to the Lord God of Israel.
“Karon isalikway ang mga langyaw nga dios nga anaa kaninyo, ug ihatag ang inyong mga kasingkasing kang Yahweh, nga Dios sa Israel.”
24 And the puple seide to Josue, We schulen serue `oure Lord God, and we schulen be obedient to hise heestis.
Miingon ang katawhan ngadto kang Josue, “Simbahon namo si Yahweh nga among Dios. Maminaw kami sa iyang tingog.”
25 Therfor Josue smoot a boond of pees in that dai, and settide forth to the puple comaundementis and domes in Sichen.
Naghimo si Josue ug kasabotan sa mga tawo niadtong adlawa. Nagbutang siya ug mga kasugoan ug mga balaod sa Siquem.
26 And he wroot alle these wordis in the book of Goddis lawe. And he took a greet stoon, and puttide it vndur an ook, that was in the seyntuarie of the Lord.
Gisulat ni Josue kining mga pulonga sa libro sa balaod sa Dios. Nagkuha siya ug dako nga bato ug gipahimutang kini didto ibabaw sa tugas nga kahoy nga tapad sa sagradong dapit ni Yahweh.
27 And he seide to al the puple, Lo! this stoon schal be to you in to witnessing, that ye herden alle the wordis of the Lord, whiche he spak to you, lest perauenture ye wolden denye aftirward, and lye to youre Lord God.
Miingon si Josue sa tanang katawhan, “Timan-i, kini nga bato magpamatuod batok kanato. Nadungog niini ang tanang mga pulong nga gisulti ni Yahweh kanato. Busa mahimo kining saksi batok kanato, kung inyo man ugaling ilimod ang inyong Dios.”
28 And he lefte the puple, ech man in to his possessioun.
Busa gipapauli ni Josue ang katawhan, ang tagsatagsa ka tawo ngadto sa iyang panulondon.
29 And after these thingis Josue, the sone of Nun, the `seruaunt of the Lord, diede, an hundride yeer eld and ten.
Human niining mga butanga si Josue nga anak nga lalaki ni Nun, nga alagad ni Yahweh, namatay, sa 110 nga pangidaron.
30 And thei birieden hym in the costis of his possessioun, in Thannath of Sare, which is set in the hil of Effraym, fro the north part of the hil Gaas.
Gilubong nila siya sulod sa utlanan sa iyang kaugalingong panulondon, sa Timnat Sera, nga atua sa kabungtoran sa Efraim, amihanan sa Bukid sa Gaas.
31 And Israel seruede the Lord in alle the daies of Josue, and of the eldre men, that lyueden in long tyme aftir Josue, and whiche eldre men knewen alle the werkis of the Lord, whiche he hadde do in Israel.
Gisimba sa Israel si Yahweh sa tanan nga mga adlaw sa kinabuhi ni Josue, ug sa tanang mga adlaw sa mga katigulangan nga nagsunod kang Josue, kadtong nakasinati sa tanang butang nga gibuhat ni Yahweh alang sa Israel.
32 Also `the sones of Israel birieden the boonys of Joseph, whiche thei baren fro Egipt in Sichen, in the part of the feeld, which feeld Jacob bouyte of the sones of Emor, fadir of Sichen, for an hundrid yonge scheep; and it was in to possessioun of the sones of Joseph.
Ang mga bukog ni Jose, nga gidala sa katawhan sa Israel pagawas sa Ehipto—gilubong nila sa Siquem, sa bahin sa yuta nga gipalit ni Jacob gikan sa mga anak nga lalaki ni Hamor, nga amahan ni Siquem. Gipalit niya kini sa 100 kabuok nga plata, ug nahimo kining panulondon sa mga kaliwat ni Jose.
33 Also Eliazar, sone of Aaron, preest, diede; and Fynees and hise sones biryden hym in Gabaa, which was youun to hym in the hil of Efraym.
Namatay usab si Eleazar nga anak nga lalaki ni Aaron. Gilubong nila siya sa Gibea, ang siyudad ni Pinehas nga iyang anak nga lalaki, nga gihatag kaniya. Nahimutang kini sa kabungtoran sa Efraim.
