१तब लेवियों के पूर्वजों के घरानों के मुख्य-मुख्य पुरुष एलीआजर याजक, और नून के पुत्र यहोशू, और इस्राएली गोत्रों के पूर्वजों के घरानों के मुख्य-मुख्य पुरुषों के पास आकर
2 and the Leuytis spaken to hem in Sylo, of the lond of Canaan, and seiden, The Lord comaundide bi the honde of Moises, that citees schulden be youun to vs to dwelle ynne, and the subarbis of tho to werk beestis to be fed.
२कनान देश के शीलो नगर में कहने लगे, “यहोवा ने मूसा के द्वारा हमें बसने के लिये नगर, और हमारे पशुओं के लिये उन्हीं नगरों की चराइयाँ भी देने की आज्ञा दी थी।”

३तब इस्राएलियों ने यहोवा के कहने के अनुसार अपने-अपने भाग में से लेवियों को चराइयों समेत ये नगर दिए।
4 And the lot yede out in to the meynee of Caath, of the sones of Aaron, preest, of the lynages of Juda, and of Symeon, and of Beniamyn, threttene citees;
४तब कहातियों के कुलों के नाम पर चिट्ठी निकली। इसलिए लेवियों में से हारून याजक के वंश को यहूदी, शिमोन, और बिन्यामीन के गोत्रों के भागों में से तेरह नगर मिले।
5 and to the othere of the sones of Caath, that is, to dekenes that weren left, of the lynagis of Effraym, and of Dan, and of the half lynage of Manasse, ten citees.
५बाकी कहातियों को एप्रैम के गोत्र के कुलों, और दान के गोत्र, और मनश्शे के आधे गोत्र के भागों में से चिट्ठी डाल डालकर दस नगर दिए गए।

६और गेर्शोनियों को इस्साकार के गोत्र के कुलों, और आशेर, और नप्ताली के गोत्रों के भागों में से, और मनश्शे के उस आधे गोत्र के भागों में से भी जो बाशान में था चिट्ठी डाल डालकर तेरह नगर दिए गए।

७कुलों के अनुसार मरारियों को रूबेन, गाद, और जबूलून के गोत्रों के भागों में से बारह नगर दिए गए।
8 And the sones of Israel yauen to dekenes cytees, and the subarbis `of tho, as the Lord comaundide bi the hond of Moises; and alle yauen bi lot.
८जो आज्ञा यहोवा ने मूसा के द्वारा दी थी उसके अनुसार इस्राएलियों ने लेवियों को चराइयों समेत ये नगर चिट्ठी डाल डालकर दिए।

९उन्होंने यहूदियों और शिमोनियों के गोत्रों के भागों में से ये नगर जिनके नाम लिखे हैं दिए;
10 to the sones of Aaron, bi the meynees of Caath, of the kyn of Leuy, of whiche citees these ben the names; for the firste lot yede out to hem;
१०ये नगर लेवीय कहाती कुलों में से हारून के वंश के लिये थे; क्योंकि पहली चिट्ठी उन्हीं के नाम पर निकली थी।
11 Cariatharbe, of the fadir of Enach, which is clepid Ebron, in the hil of Juda, and the subarbis therof bi cumpas;
११अर्थात् उन्होंने उनको यहूदा के पहाड़ी देश में चारों ओर की चराइयों समेत किर्यतअर्बा नगर दे दिया, जो अनाक के पिता अर्बा के नाम पर कहलाया और हेब्रोन भी कहलाता है।

१२परन्तु उस नगर के खेत और उसके गाँव उन्होंने यपुन्ने के पुत्र कालेब को उसकी निज भूमि करके दे दिए।

१३तब उन्होंने हारून याजक के वंश को चराइयों समेत खूनी के शरणनगर हेब्रोन, और अपनी-अपनी चराइयों समेत लिब्ना,
14 and Jether, and Yschymon,
१४यत्तीर, एश्तमो,
15 and Elon, and Dabir, and Ayn, and Lethan,
१५होलोन, दबीर, ऐन,
16 and Bethsames, with her subarbis; nyne citees, of twei lynagis, as it is seid.
१६युत्ता और बेतशेमेश दिए; इस प्रकार उन दोनों गोत्रों के भागों में से नौ नगर दिए गए।
17 Sotheli of the lynage of the sones of Beniamyn, he yaf Gabaon, and Gabee, and Anatoth, and Almon, with her subarbis;
१७और बिन्यामीन के गोत्र के भाग में से अपनी-अपनी चराइयों समेत ये चार नगर दिए गए, अर्थात् गिबोन, गेबा,
18 `foure citees.
१८अनातोत और अल्मोन।

१९इस प्रकार हारूनवंशी याजकों को तेरह नगर और उनकी चराइयाँ मिलीं।

२०फिर बाकी कहाती लेवियों के कुलों के भाग के नगर चिट्ठी डाल डालकर एप्रैम के गोत्र के भाग में से दिए गए।
21 of the lynage of Effraym, the citee of refuyt, Sichen, with hise subarbis, in the hil of Effraym, and Gazer,
२१अर्थात् उनको चराइयों समेत एप्रैम के पहाड़ी देश में खूनी के शरण लेने का शेकेम नगर दिया गया, फिर अपनी-अपनी चराइयों समेत गेजेर,
22 and Sebsam, and Bethoron, with her subarbis;
२२किबसैम, और बेथोरोन; ये चार नगर दिए गए।
23 `foure citees; also of the lynage of Dan, Helthece, and Gebethon, and Haialon,
२३और दान के गोत्र के भाग में से अपनी-अपनी चराइयों समेत, एलतके, गिब्बतोन,
24 and Gethremmon, with her subarbis;
२४अय्यालोन, और गत्रिम्मोन; ये चार नगर दिए गए।
25 `foure citees; sotheli of the half lynage of Manasses, Thanach, and Gethremon, with her subarbis; `twei citees.
२५और मनश्शे के आधे गोत्र के भाग में से अपनी-अपनी चराइयों समेत तानाक और गत्रिम्मोन; ये दो नगर दिए गए।
26 Alle the citees ten, and the subarbis `of tho weren youun to the sones of Caath, of the lowere degree.
२६इस प्रकार बाकी कहातियों के कुलों के सब नगर चराइयों समेत दस ठहरे।
27 Also to the sones of Gerson, of the kyn of Leuy, Josue yaf of the half lynage of Manasses, citees of refuyt, Gaulon in Basan, and Bosra, with her subarbis, `twei citees.
२७फिर लेवियों के कुलों में के गेर्शोनियों को मनश्शे के आधे गोत्र के भाग में से अपनी-अपनी चराइयों समेत खूनी के शरणनगर बाशान का गोलन और बेशतरा; ये दो नगर दिए गए।

२८और इस्साकार के गोत्र के भाग में से अपनी-अपनी चराइयों समेत किश्योन, दाबरात,
29 and Jerimoth, and Engannym, with her subarbis; `foure citees.
२९यर्मूत, और एनगन्नीम; ये चार नगर दिए गए।
30 Of the lynage of Aser, he yaf Masal, and Abdon,
३०और आशेर के गोत्र के भाग में से अपनी-अपनी चराइयों समेत मिशाल, अब्दोन,
31 and Elecath, and Roob, with her subarbis; `foure citees.
३१हेल्कात, और रहोब; ये चार नगर दिए गए।
32 Also of the lynage of Neptalym, `he yaf the citee of refuyt, Cedes in Galile, and Amodor, and Carthan, with her subarbis; `thre citees.
३२और नप्ताली के गोत्र के भाग में से अपनी-अपनी चराइयों समेत खूनी के शरणनगर गलील का केदेश, फिर हम्मोतदोर, और कर्तान; ये तीन नगर दिए गए।
33 Alle the citees of the meynees of Gerson weren threttene, with her subarbis.
३३गेर्शोनियों के कुलों के अनुसार उनके सब नगर अपनी-अपनी चराइयों समेत तेरह ठहरे।

३४फिर बाकी लेवियों, अर्थात् मरारियों के कुलों को जबूलून के गोत्र के भाग में से अपनी-अपनी चराइयों समेत योकनाम, कर्ता,
35 `foure citees, with her subarbis.
३५दिम्ना, और नहलाल; ये चार नगर दिए गए।
36 And of the lynage of Gad, he yaf the citee of refuyt, Ramoth in Galaad, and Manaym, and Esebon, and Jaser; `foure citees, with her subarbis.
३६और रूबेन के गोत्र के भाग में से अपनी-अपनी चराइयों समेत बेसेर, यहस,
37 And of the lynage of Ruben, biyende Jordan, ayens Jerico, he yaf `the citee of refuyt, Bosor in the wildirnesse of Mysor, and Jazer, and Jecson, and Maspha; `foure citees, with her subarbis.
३७कदेमोत, और मेपात; ये चार नगर दिए गए।
३८और गाद के गोत्र के भाग में से अपनी-अपनी चराइयों समेत खूनी के शरणनगर गिलाद में का रामोत, फिर महनैम,
३९हेशबोन, और याजेर, जो सब मिलाकर चार नगर हैं दिए गए।

४०लेवियों के बाकी कुलों अर्थात् मरारियों के कुलों के अनुसार उनके सब नगर ये ही ठहरे, इस प्रकार उनको बारह नगर चिट्ठी डाल डालकर दिए गए।
41 And so alle the citees of Leuytis, in the myddis of possessioun of the sones of Israel, weren eiyte and fourti, with her subarbis;
४१इस्राएलियों की निज भूमि के बीच लेवियों के सब नगर अपनी-अपनी चराइयों समेत अड़तालीस ठहरे।
42 and alle citees weren departid by meynees.
४२ये सब नगर अपने-अपने चारों ओर की चराइयों के साथ ठहरे; इन सब नगरों की यही दशा थी।
43 And the Lord yaf to Israel al the lond which he swoor hym silf to yyue to the fadris `of hem, and thei hadden it in possessioun, and dwelliden therynne.
४३इस प्रकार यहोवा ने इस्राएलियों को वह सारा देश दिया, जिसे उसने उनके पूर्वजों से शपथ खाकर देने को कहा था; और वे उसके अधिकारी होकर उसमें बस गए।
44 And pees was youun of hym in to alle naciouns `by cumpas; and noon of enemyes was hardi to withstonde hem, but alle weren dryuen in to the lordschip `of hem.
४४और यहोवा ने उन सब बातों के अनुसार, जो उसने उनके पूर्वजों से शपथ खाकर कही थीं, उन्हें चारों ओर से विश्राम दिया; और उनके शत्रुओं में से कोई भी उनके सामने टिक न सका; यहोवा ने उन सभी को उनके वश में कर दिया।

४५जितनी भलाई की बातें यहोवा ने इस्राएल के घराने से कही थीं उनमें से कोई भी बात न छूटी; सब की सब पूरी हुईं।
