Joshua 13

Ketika Yosua sudah sangat tua, TUHAN berkata kepadanya, “Kamu sudah sangat tua, dan masih begitu banyak daerah yang belum kalian kuasai.

Kalian belum merebut seluruh wilayah orang Filistin dan seluruh wilayah orang Gesur,

3 fro the troblid flood that moistith Egipt, `til to the termes of Acaron ayenus the north; the lond of Chanaan, which is departid `in to fyue litle kyngis of Filistym, of Gaza, and of Azotus, of Ascolon, of Geth, and of Accaron.

mulai dari sungai Sikor di sebelah timur Mesir sampai ke perbatasan kota Ekron di sebelah utara, yang dianggap wilayah orang Kanaan. Lima raja orang Filistin dari kota Gaza, kota Asdod, kota Askelon, kota Gat, dan kota Ekron masih menguasai daerah itu. Kalian juga belum merebut wilayah orang Awi

Juga wilayah orang Gebal, seluruh gunung Libanon di sebelah timur, mulai dari kota Baal Gad di kaki gunung Hermon sampai ke jalan yang menuju kota Hamat,

6 of alle men that dwelliden in the hil, fro the Liban `til to the watris of Masserephoth, and alle men of Sidon; Y am, that schal do awei hem fro the face of the sones of Israel; therfor come it in to the part of eritage of Israel, as Y comaundide to thee.

juga daerah pegunungan mulai dari Libanon sampai ke kota Misrefot Maim, yang ditempati orang Sidon. “Aku akan mengusir mereka dari hadapan Israel. Hanya saja, kamu harus membagikan tanah ini kepada orang Israel menjadi warisan mereka, seperti yang sudah Aku perintahkan kepadamu.

7 And thou now departe the lond in to possessioun to the nyne lynagis, and to the half lynage of Manasses,

Nah, bagikanlah tanah itu kepada sembilan suku Israel dan kepada separuh suku Manasye menjadi milik warisan mereka.”

8 with which lynage Ruben and Gad weldiden the lond, which lond Moises, the `seruaunt of the Lord, yaf to hem biyende the flowyngis of Jordan, at the eest coost;

Separuh suku Manasye yang lain, suku Ruben, dan suku Gad sudah menerima warisan mereka dari Musa, hamba TUHAN itu, di sebelah timur sungai Yordan.

9 fro Aroer, which is set in the brynke of the stronde of Arnon, in the middis of the valei, and alle the feeldi places of Medaba,

Wilayah mereka terbentang mulai dari Aroer di tepi sungai Arnon, juga kota yang terletak di tengah Lembah Arnon, dan seluruh dataran tinggi Medeba sampai ke Dibon.

10 `til to Dibon, and alle the citees of Seon, kyng of Amorreis, that regnyde in Esebon, `til to the termes of the sones of Amon,

Wilayah mereka juga termasuk semua kota yang sebelumnya dikuasai oleh Sihon, raja orang Amori yang memerintah dari kota Hesbon, sampai ke perbatasan daerah bangsa Amon,

11 and of Galaad, and to the termes of Gessuri, and of Machati, and al the hil of Hermon, and al Basan, `til to Salecha;

juga daerah Gilead, daerah orang Gesur dan orang Maaka, seluruh pegunungan Hermon, seluruh daerah Basan sampai ke Salka,

12 al the rewme of Og in Basan, that regnede in Astoroth, and in Edraym; `he was of the relikis of Rafaym, `that is, of giauntis; and Moises smoot hem and dide awey hem.

dan seluruh kerajaan Og di Basan, yang memerintah di Astarot dan Edrei. Raja Og adalah salah satu orang Refaim yang masih hidup. Musa mengalahkan dan mengusir bangsa-bangsa itu.

Hanya suku Lewi yang tidak diberi tanah warisan. Yang menjadi warisannya adalah kurban-kurban yang dibakar bagi TUHAN, Allah Israel, seperti yang sudah dijanjikan-Nya kepada mereka.

15 Therfor Moises yaf possessioun to the lynage of the sones of Ruben, bi her kynredis;

Inilah tanah yang diberikan kepada marga-marga dalam suku Ruben sebagai warisan mereka.

16 and `the term of hem was fro Aroer, which is set in the brenke of the stronde of Arnon, and in the myddil valei of the same stronde, al the pleyn that ledith to Medaba,

Wilayah mereka mulai dari Aroer di tepi sungai Arnon, juga kota yang terletak di tengah Lembah Arnon, dan seluruh dataran tinggi Medeba.

17 and Esebon, and alle the townes of tho, that ben in the feeldi places; and Dibon, and Baal Bamoth, and the citee of Baal Meon,

Wilayah mereka juga termasuk Hesbon dan semua kota lainnya di dataran tinggi itu, yakni Dibon, Bamot Baal, Bet Baal Meon,

18 and Gesa, and Sedymoth, and Mephe,

Yahas, Kedemot, Mefaat,

19 and Cariathaym, and Sabana, and Sarathaphar, in the hil of the valey of Betheroeth,

Kiryataim, Sibma, Zeret Hasahar yang terletak di atas gunung di lembah,

20 and of Asedoch, Phasca, and Bethaissymoth;

Bet Peor, lereng-lereng gunung Pisga, dan Bet Yesimot.

21 alle the feeldi citees, and alle the rewmes of Seon, kyng of Amorrey, that regnede in Esebon, whom Moyses smoot, with hise princes, Madian, Euey and Recten, and Sur, and Hur, and Rebee, duykis of Seon, enhabiters of the lond.

Semua kota di dataran tinggi dan semua wilayah Raja Sihon menjadi milik suku Ruben. Raja Sihon adalah raja bangsa Amori yang memerintah dari Hesbon, dan yang dibunuh bersama para pemimpin orang Midian oleh Musa. Para pemimpin orang Midian ini bernama Ewi, Rekem, Hur, Zur, dan Reba. Batas wilayah suku Ruben di sebelah barat adalah sungai Yordan. Demikianlah kota-kota dan desa-desa di wilayah ini diberikan kepada marga-marga dalam suku Ruben sebagai warisan mereka.

24 And Moises yaf to the lynage of Gad, and to the sones therof, bi her kynredis, possessioun, of which this is departyng;

Musa juga memberikan tanah kepada marga-marga dalam suku Gad sebagai warisan mereka.

25 he yaf the termes of Jazer, and alle the citees of Galaad, and the half part of the lond of the sones of Amon, `til to Aroer which is ayens Tabba;

Wilayah mereka meliputi kota Yazer, semua kota di daerah Gilead, dan setengah dari daerah orang Amon sampai ke kota Aroer, yang terletak di dekat kota Raba.

26 and fro Esebon `til to Ramoth of Masphe, and Bethamyn, and Manayn, `til to the termes of Dabir;

Wilayah mereka juga termasuk daerah dari kota Hesbon sampai ke kota Ramat Mispa dan kota Betonim, juga daerah dari kota Mahanaim sampai ke perbatasan kota Debir.

27 and in the valei he yaf Betharan, and Bethneuar, and Socoth, and Saphan, the tother part of the rewme of Seon, kyng of Esebon; and the ende of this is Jordan, `til to the laste part of the see of Cenereth ouer Jordan, at the eest coost.

Wilayah mereka di lembah Yordan termasuk kota Bet Haram, Bet Nimra, Sukot, dan Zafon, sisa dari kekuasaan raja Sihon di Hesbon. Di sebelah barat, wilayah suku Gad dibatasi oleh sungai Yordan sampai ke ujung selatan danau Galilea.

28 This is the possessioun of the sones of Gad, bi her meynees, the citees and townes of tho.

Demikianlah kota-kota dan desa-desa di wilayah ini diberikan kepada marga-marga dalam suku Gad sebagai warisan mereka.

29 He yaf also possessioun to the half lynage of Manasses, and to hise sones, bi her kynredis,

Musa juga memberikan tanah kepada marga-marga dalam separuh suku Manasye sebagai warisan mereka.

30 of which possessioun this is the bigynnyng; he yaf Ammaym, and al Basan, and alle the rewmes of Og, kyng of Basan, and alle the townes of Jair, that ben in Basan, sixti citees;

Wilayah mereka mulai dari kota Mahanaim, termasuk seluruh daerah Basan yang sebelumnya dikuasai oleh Raja Og, juga enam puluh desa di daerah Basan yang direbut oleh Yair, keturunan Manasye.

31 and half the part of Galaad, and Astoroth, and Edray, the citees of the rewme of Og, kyng of Basan; to the sones of Machir, sones of Manasses, and to half the part of the sones of Machir, bi her kynredis.

Wilayah mereka juga termasuk setengah daerah Gilead, serta kota Astarot dan kota Edrei, yang merupakan pusat kerajaan Og di Basan. Seluruh wilayah ini diberikan sebagai warisan kepada marga-marga dalam separuh suku Manasye, yaitu setengah dari keturunan Makir, anak Manasye.

32 Moises departide this possessioun in the feeldi placis of Moab ouer Jordan, ayens Jericho, at the eest coost.

Demikianlah tanah warisan yang Musa bagikan di dataran tinggi Moab, di sebelah timur sungai Yordan dekat kota Yeriko.

33 Forsothe he yaf not possessioun to the lynage of Leuy; for the Lord God himself of Israel is the possessioun of Leuy, as the Lord spak to hym.

Akan tetapi, Musa tidak memberikan tanah warisan kepada suku Lewi. Yang menjadi warisan mereka adalah TUHAN, Allah Israel, seperti yang sudah TUHAN janjikan kepada mereka.
