1 But Jhesus wente in to the mount of Olyuete.
ปฺรตฺยูเษ ยีศุ: ปนรฺมนฺทิรมฺ อาคจฺฉตฺ
2 And eerli eft he cam in to the temple; and al the puple cam to hym; and he sat, and tauyte hem.
ตต: สรฺเวฺวษุ โลเกษุ ตสฺย สมีป อาคเตษุ ส อุปวิศฺย ตานฺ อุปเทษฺฏุมฺ อารภตฯ
3 And scribis and Fariseis bryngen a womman takun in auoutrye, and thei settiden hir in the myddil,
ตทา อธฺยาปกา: ผิรูศินญฺจ วฺยภิจารกรฺมฺมณิ ธฺฤตํ สฺตฺริยเมกามฺ อานิย สรฺเวฺวษำ มเธฺย สฺถาปยิตฺวา วฺยาหรนฺ
4 and seiden to hym, Maystir, this womman is now takun in auoutrie.
เห คุโร โยษิตมฺ อิมำ วฺยภิจารกรฺมฺม กุรฺวฺวาณำ โลกา ธฺฤตวนฺต: ฯ
5 And in the lawe Moises comaundide vs to stoone suche; therfor what seist thou?
เอตาทฺฤศโลกา: ปาษาณาฆาเตน หนฺตวฺยา อิติ วิธิรฺมูสาวฺยวสฺถาคฺรนฺเถ ลิขิโตสฺติ กินฺตุ ภวานฺ กิมาทิศติ?
6 And thei seiden this thing temptynge hym, that thei myyten accuse hym. And Jhesus bowide hym silf doun, and wroot with his fyngur in the erthe.
เต ตมปวทิตุํ ปรีกฺษาภิปฺราเยณ วากฺยมิทมฺ อปฺฤจฺฉนฺ กินฺตุ ส ปฺรหฺวีภูย ภูมาวงฺคลฺยา เลขิตุมฺ อารภตฯ
7 And whanne thei abiden axynge hym, he reiside hym silf, and seide to hem, He of you that is without synne, first caste a stoon in to hir.
ตตไสฺต: ปุน: ปุน: ปฺฤษฺฏ อุตฺถาย กถิตวานฺ ยุษฺมากํ มเธฺย โย ชโน นิรปราธี เสอว ปฺรถมมฺ เอนำ ปาษาเณนาหนฺตุฯ
8 And eft he bowide hym silf, and wroot in the erthe.
ปศฺจาตฺ ส ปุนศฺจ ปฺรหฺวีภูย ภูเมา เลขิตุมฺ อารภตฯ
9 And thei herynge these thingis, wenten awei oon aftir anothir, and thei bigunnen fro the eldre men; and Jhesus dwelte aloone, and the womman stondynge in the myddil.
ตำ กถํ ศฺรุตฺวา เต สฺวสฺวมนสิ ปฺรโพธํ ปฺราปฺย เชฺยษฺฐานุกฺรมํ เอไกกศ: สรฺเวฺว พหิรคจฺฉนฺ ตโต ยีศุเรกากี ตยกฺตฺโตภวตฺ มธฺยสฺถาเน ทณฺฑายมานา สา โยษา จ สฺถิตาฯ
10 And Jhesus reiside hym silf, and seide to hir, Womman, where ben thei that accusiden thee? no man hath dampned thee.
ตตฺปศฺจาทฺ ยีศุรุตฺถาย ตำ วนิตำ วินา กมปฺยปรํ น วิโลกฺย ปฺฤษฺฏวานฺ เห วาเม ตวาปวาทกา: กุตฺร? โกปิ ตฺวำ กึ น ทณฺฑยติ?
11 Sche seide, No man, Lord. Jhesus seide `to hir, Nethir Y schal dampne thee; go thou, and now aftirward nyle thou synne more.
สาวทตฺ เห มเหจฺฉ โกปิ น ตทา ยีศุรโวจตฺ นาหมปิ ทณฺฑยามิ ยาหิ ปุน: ปาปํ มาการฺษี: ฯ
12 Therfor eft Jhesus spak to hem, and seide, Y am the liyt of the world; he that sueth me, walkith not in derknessis, but schal haue the liyt of lijf.
ตโต ยีศุ: ปุนรปิ โลเกภฺย อิตฺถํ กถยิตุมฺ อารภต ชคโตหํ โชฺยติ: สฺวรูโป ย: กศฺจินฺ มตฺปศฺจาท คจฺฉติ ส ติมิเร น ภฺรมิตฺวา ชีวนรูปำ ทีปฺตึ ปฺราปฺสฺยติฯ
13 Therfor the Fariseis seiden, Thou berist witnessyng of thi silf; thi witnessyng is not trewe.
ตต: ผิรูศิโน'วาทิษุสฺตฺวํ สฺวารฺเถ สฺวยํ สากฺษฺยํ ททาสิ ตสฺมาตฺ ตว สากฺษฺยํ คฺราหฺยํ น ภวติฯ
14 Jhesus answerde, and seide to hem, And if Y bere witnessyng of my silf, my witnessyng is trewe; for Y woot fro whennus Y cam, and whidur Y go.
ตทา ยีศุ: ปฺรตฺยุทิตวานฺ ยทฺยปิ สฺวารฺเถ'หํ สฺวยํ สากฺษฺยํ ททามิ ตถาปิ มตฺ สากฺษฺยํ คฺราหฺยํ ยสฺมาทฺ อหํ กุต อาคโตสฺมิ กฺว ยามิ จ ตทหํ ชานามิ กินฺตุ กุต อาคโตสฺมิ กุตฺร คจฺฉามิ จ ตทฺ ยูยํ น ชานีถฯ
15 But ye witen not fro whennus Y cam, ne whidur Y go. For ye demen aftir the fleisch, but Y deme no man;
ยูยํ เลากิกํ วิจารยถ นาหํ กิมปิ วิจารยามิฯ
16 and if Y deme, my doom is trewe, for Y am not aloone, but Y and the fadir that sente me.
กินฺตุ ยทิ วิจารยามิ ตรฺหิ มม วิจาโร คฺรหีตโวฺย ยโตหมฺ เอกากี นาสฺมิ เปฺรรยิตา ปิตา มยา สห วิทฺยเตฯ
17 And in youre lawe it is writun, that the witnessyng of twei men is trewe.
ทฺวโย รฺชนโย: สากฺษฺยํ คฺรหณียํ ภวตีติ ยุษฺมากํ วฺยวสฺถาคฺรนฺเถ ลิขิตมสฺติฯ
18 Y am, that bere witnessyng of my silf, and the fadir that sente me, berith witnessyng of me.
อหํ สฺวารฺเถ สฺวยํ สากฺษิตฺวํ ททามิ ยศฺจ มม ตาโต มำ เปฺรริตวานฺ โสปิ มทรฺเถ สากฺษฺยํ ททาติฯ
19 Therfor thei seiden to hym, Where is thi fadir? Jhesus answeride, Nether ye knowen me, nethir ye knowen my fadir; if ye knewen me, perauenture ye schulden knowe also my fadir.
ตทา เต'ปฺฤจฺฉนฺ ตว ตาต: กุตฺร? ตโต ยีศุ: ปฺรตฺยวาทีทฺ ยูยํ มำ น ชานีถ มตฺปิตรญฺจ น ชานีถ ยทิ มามฺ อกฺษาสฺยต ตรฺหิ มม ตาตมปฺยกฺษาสฺยตฯ
20 Jhesus spak these wordis in the tresorie, techynge in the temple; and no man took hym, for his our cam not yit.
ยีศุ รฺมนฺทิร อุปทิศฺย ภณฺฑาคาเร กถา เอตา อกถยตฺ ตถาปิ ตํ ปฺรติ โกปิ กรํ โนทโตลยตฺฯ
21 Therfor eft Jhesus seide to hem, Lo! Y go, and ye schulen seke me, and ye schulen die in youre synne; whidur Y go, ye moun not come.
ตต: ปรํ ยีศุ: ปุนรุทิตวานฺ อธุนาหํ คจฺฉามิ ยูยํ มำ คเวษยิษฺยถ กินฺตุ นิไช: ปาไป รฺมริษฺยถ ยตฺ สฺถานมฺ อหํ ยาสฺยามิ ตตฺ สฺถานมฺ ยูยํ ยาตุํ น ศกฺษฺยถฯ
22 Therfor the Jewis seiden, Whether he schal sle hym silf, for he seith, Whidur Y go, ye moun not come?
ตทา ยิหูทียา: ปฺราโวจนฺ กิมยมฺ อาตฺมฆาตํ กริษฺยติ? ยโต ยตฺ สฺถานมฺ อหํ ยาสฺยามิ ตตฺ สฺถานมฺ ยูยํ ยาตุํ น ศกฺษฺยถ อิติ วากฺยํ พฺรวีติฯ
23 And he seide to hem, Ye ben of bynethe, Y am of aboue; ye ben of this world, Y am not of this world.
ตโต ยีศุเสฺตภฺย: กถิตวานฺ ยูยมฺ อธ: สฺถานียา โลกา อหมฺ อูรฺทฺวฺวสฺถานีย: ยูยมฺ เอตชฺชคตฺสมฺพนฺธียา อหมฺ เอตชฺชคตฺสมฺพนฺธีโย นฯ
24 Therfor Y seide to you, that ye schulen die in youre synnes; for if ye bileuen not that Y am, ye schulen die in youre synne.
ตสฺมาตฺ กถิตวานฺ ยูยํ นิไช: ปาไป รฺมริษฺยถ ยโตหํ ส ปุมานฺ อิติ ยทิ น วิศฺวสิถ ตรฺหิ นิไช: ปาไป รฺมริษฺยถฯ
25 Therfor thei seiden to hym, Who art thou? Jhesus seide to hem, The bigynnyng, which also speke to you.
ตทา เต 'ปฺฤจฺฉนฺ กสฺตฺวํ? ตโต ยีศุ: กถิตวานฺ ยุษฺมากํ สนฺนิเธา ยสฺย ปฺรสฺตาวมฺ อา ปฺรถมาตฺ กโรมิ เสอว ปุรุโษหํฯ
26 Y haue many thingis to speke, and deme of you, but he that sente me is sothefast; and Y speke in the world these thingis, that Y herde of hym.
ยุษฺมาสุ มยา พหุวากฺยํ วกฺตฺตวฺยํ วิจารยิตวฺยญฺจ กินฺตุ มตฺเปฺรรยิตา สตฺยวาที ตสฺย สมีเป ยทหํ ศฺรุตวานฺ ตเทว ชคเต กถยามิฯ
27 And thei knewen not, that he clepide his fadir God.
กินฺตุ ส ชนเก วากฺยมิทํ โปฺรกฺตฺตวานฺ อิติ เต นาพุธฺยนฺตฯ
28 Therfor Jhesus seith to hem, Whanne ye han areisid mannus sone, thanne ye schulen knowe, that Y am, and of my silf Y do no thing; but as my fadir tauyte me, Y speke these thingis.
ตโต ยีศุรกถยทฺ ยทา มนุษฺยปุตฺรมฺ อูรฺทฺวฺว อุตฺถาปยิษฺยถ ตทาหํ ส ปุมานฺ เกวล: สฺวยํ กิมปิ กรฺมฺม น กโรมิ กินฺตุ ตาโต ยถา ศิกฺษยติ ตทนุสาเรณ วากฺยมิทํ วทามีติ จ ยูยํ ชฺญาตุํ ศกฺษฺยถฯ
29 And he that sente me is with me, and lefte me not aloone; for Y do euermore tho thingis, that ben plesynge to hym.
มตฺเปฺรรยิตา ปิตา มามฺ เอกากินํ น ตฺยชติ ส มยา สารฺทฺธํ ติษฺฐติ ยโตหํ ตทภิมตํ กรฺมฺม สทา กโรมิฯ
30 Whanne he spak these thingis, manye bileueden in hym.
ตทา ตไสฺยตานิ วากฺยานิ ศฺรุตฺวา พหุวสฺตาสฺมินฺ วฺยศฺวสนฺฯ
31 Therfor Jhesus seide to the Jewis, that bileueden in hym, If ye dwellen in my word, verili ye schulen be my disciplis;
เย ยิหูทียา วฺยศฺวสนฺ ยีศุเสฺตโภฺย'กถยตฺ
32 and ye schulen knowe the treuthe, and the treuthe schal make you fre.
มม วาเกฺย ยทิ ยูยมฺ อาสฺถำ กุรุถ ตรฺหิ มม ศิษฺยา ภูตฺวา สตฺยตฺวํ ชฺญาสฺยถ ตต: สตฺยตยา ยุษฺมากํ โมกฺโษ ภวิษฺยติฯ
33 Therfor the Jewis answeriden to hym, We ben the seed of Abraham, and we serueden neuere to man; hou seist thou, That ye schulen be fre?
ตทา เต ปฺรตฺยวาทิษุ: วยมฺ อิพฺราหีโม วํศ: กทาปิ กสฺยาปิ ทาสา น ชาตาสฺตรฺหิ ยุษฺมากํ มุกฺตฺติ รฺภวิษฺยตีติ วากฺยํ กถํ พฺรวีษิ?
34 Jhesus answeride to hem, Treuli, treuli, Y seie to you, ech man that doith synne, is seruaunt of synne.
ตทา ยีศุ: ปฺรตฺยวททฺ ยุษฺมานหํ ยถารฺถตรํ วทามิ ย: ปาปํ กโรติ ส ปาปสฺย ทาส: ฯ
35 And the seruaunt dwellith not in the hows with outen ende, but the sone dwellith with outen ende. (aiōn g165)
ทาสศฺจ นิรนฺตรํ นิเวศเน น ติษฺฐติ กินฺตุ ปุโตฺร นิรนฺตรํ ติษฺฐติฯ (aiōn g165)
36 Therfor if the sone make you fre, verili ye schulen be fre.
อต: ปุโตฺร ยทิ ยุษฺมานฺ โมจยติ ตรฺหิ นิตานฺตเมว มุกฺตฺตา ภวิษฺยถฯ
37 Y woot that ye ben Abrahams sones, but ye seken to sle me, for my word takith not in you.
ยุยมฺ อิพฺราหีโม วํศ อิตฺยหํ ชานามิ กินฺตุ มม กถา ยุษฺมากมฺ อนฺต: กรเณษุ สฺถานํ น ปฺราปฺนุวนฺติ ตสฺมาทฺเธโต รฺมำ หนฺตุมฺ อีหเธฺวฯ
38 Y speke tho thingis, that Y say at my fadir; and ye doen tho thingis, that ye sayn at youre fadir.
อหํ สฺวปิตุ: สมีเป ยทปศฺยํ ตเทว กถยามิ ตถา ยูยมปิ สฺวปิตุ: สมีเป ยทปศฺยต ตเทว กุรุเธฺวฯ
39 Thei answerden, and seiden to hym, Abraham is oure fadir. Jhesus seith to hem, If ye ben the sones of Abraham, do ye the werkis of Abraham.
ตทา เต ปฺรตฺยโวจนฺ อิพฺราหีมฺ อสฺมากํ ปิตา ตโต ยีศุรกถยทฺ ยทิ ยูยมฺ อิพฺราหีม: สนฺตานา อภวิษฺยต ตรฺหิ อิพฺราหีม อาจารณวทฺ อาจริษฺยตฯ
40 But now ye seken to sle `me, a man that haue spoken to you treuthe, that Y herde of God; Abraham dide not this thing.
อีศฺวรสฺย มุขาตฺ สตฺยํ วากฺยํ ศฺรุตฺวา ยุษฺมานฺ ชฺญาปยามิ โยหํ ตํ มำ หนฺตุํ เจษฺฏเธฺว อิพฺราหีมฺ เอตาทฺฤศํ กรฺมฺม น จการฯ
41 Ye doen the werkis of youre fadir. Therfor thei seiden to hym, We ben not borun of fornycacioun; we han o fadir, God.
ยูยํ สฺวสฺวปิตุ: กรฺมฺมาณิ กุรุถ ตทา ไตรุกฺตฺตํ น วยํ ชารชาตา อสฺมากมฺ เอเกอว ปิตาสฺติ ส เอเวศฺวร:
42 But Jhesus seith to hem, If God were youre fadir, sotheli ye schulden loue me; for Y passide forth of God, and cam; for nether Y cam of my silf, but he sente me.
ตโต ยีศุนา กถิตมฺ อีศฺวโร ยทิ ยุษฺมากํ ตาโตภวิษฺยตฺ ตรฺหิ ยูยํ มยิ เปฺรมากริษฺยต ยโตหมฺ อีศฺวรานฺนิรฺคตฺยาคโตสฺมิ สฺวโต นาคโตหํ ส มำ ปฺราหิโณตฺฯ
43 Whi knowen ye not my speche? for ye moun not here my word.
ยูยํ มม วากฺยมิทํ น พุธฺยเธฺว กุต: ? ยโต ยูยํ มโมปเทศํ โสฒุํ น ศกฺนุถฯ
44 Ye ben of the fadir, the deuel, and ye wolen do the desyris of youre fadir. He was a mansleere fro the bigynnyng, and he stood not in treuthe; for treuthe is not in hym. Whanne he spekith lesyng, he spekith of his owne; for he is a liere, and fadir of it.
ยูยํ ไศตานฺ ปิตุ: สนฺตานา เอตสฺมาทฺ ยุษฺมากํ ปิตุรภิลาษํ ปูรยถ ส อา ปฺรถมาตฺ นรฆาตี ตทนฺต: สตฺยตฺวสฺย เลโศปิ นาสฺติ การณาทต: ส สตฺยตายำ นาติษฺฐตฺ ส ยทา มฺฤษา กถยติ ตทา นิชสฺวภาวานุสาเรไณว กถยติ ยโต ส มฺฤษาภาษี มฺฤโษตฺปาทกศฺจฯ
45 But for Y seie treuthe, ye bileuen not to me.
อหํ ตถฺยวากฺยํ วทามิ การณาทสฺมาทฺ ยูยํ มำ น ปฺรตีถฯ
46 Who of you schal repreue me of synne? if Y sey treuthe, whi bileuen ye not to me?
มยิ ปาปมสฺตีติ ปฺรมาณํ ยุษฺมากํ โก ทาตุํ ศกฺโนติ? ยทฺยหํ ตถฺยวากฺยํ วทามิ ตรฺหิ กุโต มำ น ปฺรติถ?
47 He that is of God, herith the wordis of God; therfor ye heren not, for ye ben not of God.
ย: กศฺจน อีศฺวรีโย โลก: ส อีศฺวรียกถายำ มโน นิธตฺเต ยูยมฺ อีศฺวรียโลกา น ภวถ ตนฺนิทานาตฺ ตตฺร น มนำสิ นิธเทฺวฯ
48 Therfor the Jewis answeriden, and seiden, Whether we seien not wel, that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a deuel?
ตทา ยิหูทียา: ปฺรตฺยวาทิษุ: ตฺวเมก: โศมิโรณีโย ภูตคฺรสฺตศฺจ วยํ กิมิทํ ภทฺรํ นาวาทิษฺม?
49 Jhesus answerde, and seide, Y haue not a deuel, but Y onoure my fadir, and ye han vnhonourid me.
ตโต ยีศุ: ปฺรตฺยวาทีตฺ นาหํ ภูตคฺรสฺต: กินฺตุ นิชตาตํ สมฺมเนฺย ตสฺมาทฺ ยูยํ มามฺ อปมนฺยเธฺวฯ
50 For Y seke not my glorye; there is he, that sekith, and demeth.
อหํ สฺวสุขฺยาตึ น เจษฺเฏ กินฺตุ เจษฺฏิตา วิจารยิตา จาปร เอก อาเสฺตฯ
51 Treuli, treuli, Y seie to you, if ony man kepe my word, he schal not taste deth with outen ende. (aiōn g165)
อหํ ยุษฺมภฺยมฺ อตีว ยถารฺถํ กถยามิ โย นโร มทียํ วาจํ มนฺยเต ส กทาจน นิธนํ น ทฺรกฺษฺยติฯ (aiōn g165)
52 Therfor the Jewis seiden, Now we han knowun, that thou hast a deuel. Abraham is deed, and the prophetis, and thou seist, If ony man kepe my word, he schal not taste deth withouten ende. (aiōn g165)
ยิหูทียาสฺตมวทนฺ ตฺวํ ภูตคฺรสฺต อิตีทานีมฺ อไวษฺมฯ อิพฺราหีมฺ ภวิษฺยทฺวาทินญฺจ สรฺเวฺว มฺฤตา: กินฺตุ ตฺวํ ภาษเส โย นโร มม ภารตีํ คฺฤหฺลาติ ส ชาตุ นิธานาสฺวาทํ น ลปฺสฺยเตฯ (aiōn g165)
53 Whether thou art grettere than oure fader Abraham, that is deed, and the prophetis ben deed; whom makist thou thi silf?
ตรฺหิ ตฺวํ กิมฺ อสฺมากํ ปูรฺวฺวปุรุษาทฺ อิพฺราหีโมปิ มหานฺ? ยสฺมาตฺ โสปิ มฺฤต: ภวิษฺยทฺวาทิโนปิ มฺฤตา: ตฺวํ สฺวํ กํ ปุมำสํ มนุเษ?
54 Jhesus answeride, If Y glorifie my silf, my glorie is nouyt; my fadir, is that glorifieth me, whom ye seien, that he is youre God.
ยีศุ: ปฺรตฺยโวจทฺ ยทฺยหํ สฺวํ สฺวยํ สมฺมเนฺย ตรฺหิ มม ตตฺ สมฺมนนํ กิมปิ น กินฺตุ มม ตาโต ยํ ยูยํ สฺวียมฺ อีศฺวรํ ภาษเธฺว เสอว มำ สมฺมนุเตฯ
55 And ye han not knowun hym, but Y haue knowun hym; and if Y seie that Y knowe hym not, Y schal be a liere lich to you; but Y knowe hym, and Y kepe his word.
ยูยํ ตํ นาวคจฺฉถ กินฺตฺวหํ ตมวคจฺฉามิ ตํ นาวคจฺฉามีติ วากฺยํ ยทิ วทามิ ตรฺหิ ยูยมิว มฺฤษาภาษี ภวามิ กินฺตฺวหํ ตมวคจฺฉามิ ตทากฺษามปิ คฺฤหฺลามิฯ
56 Abraham, youre fadir, gladide to se my dai; and he saiy, and ioyede.
ยุษฺมากํ ปูรฺวฺวปุรุษ อิพฺราหีมฺ มม สมยํ ทฺรษฺฏุมฺ อตีวาวาญฺฉตฺ ตนฺนิรีกฺษฺยานนฺทจฺจฯ
57 Thanne the Jewis seiden to hym, Thou hast not yit fifti yeer, and hast thou seien Abraham?
ตทา ยิหูทียา อปฺฤจฺฉนฺ ตว วย: ปญฺจาศทฺวตฺสรา น ตฺวํ กิมฺ อิพฺราหีมมฺ อทฺรากฺษี: ?
58 Therfor Jhesus seide to hem, Treuli, treuli, Y seie to you, bifor that Abraham schulde be, Y am.
ยีศุ: ปฺรตฺยวาทีทฺ ยุษฺมานหํ ยถารฺถตรํ วทามิ อิพฺราหีโม ชนฺมน: ปูรฺวฺวกาลมารภฺยาหํ วิเทฺยฯ
59 Therfor thei token stonys, to caste to hym; but Jhesus hidde hym, and wente out of the temple.
ตทา เต ปาษาณานฺ อุตฺโตลฺย ตมาหนฺตุมฺ อุทยจฺฉนฺ กินฺตุ ยีศุ รฺคุปฺโต มนฺติราทฺ พหิรฺคตฺย เตษำ มเธฺยน ปฺรสฺถิตวานฺฯ
