John 15
1 Y am a very vyne, and my fadir is an erthe tilier.
“ನಾನೇ ನಿಜವಾದ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ಬಳ್ಳಿ, ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯೇ ತೋಟಗಾರರು.
2 Ech braunch in me that berith not fruyt, he schal take awey it; and ech that berith fruyt, he schal purge it, that it bere the more fruyt.
ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು ಫಲವನ್ನು ಕೊಡದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಕವಲುಬಳ್ಳಿಯನ್ನು ತಂದೆ ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ ಎತ್ತಿಡುವರು. ಆದರೆ ಫಲಕೊಡುವ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಕವಲುಬಳ್ಳಿಯು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಫಲಕೊಡುವಂತೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಕತ್ತರಿಸಿ ಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.
3 Now ye ben clene, for the word that Y haue spokun to you.
ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ವಾಕ್ಯದ ದೆಸೆಯಿಂದ ನೀವು ಈಗ ಶುದ್ಧರಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
4 Dwelle ye in me, and Y in you; as a braunche may not make fruyt of it silf, but it dwelle in the vyne, so nether ye, but ye dwelle in me.
ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ಹಾಗೇ ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಗೊಂಡಿರಿ. ಕವಲುಬಳ್ಳಿಯು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ಬಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಗೊಂಡಿರದಿದ್ದರೆ ಹೇಗೆ ತನ್ನಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ತಾನೇ ಫಲ ಕೊಡಲಾರದೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನೀವೂ ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಗೊಂಡಿರದಿದ್ದರೆ ಫಲಕೊಡಲಾರಿರಿ.
5 Y am a vyne, ye the braunchis. Who that dwellith in me, and Y in hym, this berith myche fruyt, for with outen me ye moun no thing do.
“ನಾನೇ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ಬಳ್ಳಿ, ನೀವು ಕವಲುಬಳ್ಳಿಗಳು. ನೀವು ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದರೆ ನೀವು ಬಹಳ ಫಲಕೊಡುವಿರಿ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನೀವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಏನೂ ಮಾಡಲಾರಿರಿ.
6 If ony man dwellith not in me, he schal be caste out as a braunche, and schal wexe drie; and thei schulen gadere hym, and thei schulen caste hym in to the fier, and he brenneth.
ನೀವು ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಗೊಂಡಿರದಿದ್ದರೆ ನೀವು ಎಸೆಯಲಾದ ಕವಲುಬಳ್ಳಿಯಂತೆ ಒಣಗಿ ಹೋಗುವಿರಿ. ಜನರು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿ ಬೆಂಕಿಯೊಳಗೆ ಹಾಕುವರು ಮತ್ತು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಸುಟ್ಟುಹಾಕಲಾಗುವುದು.
7 If ye dwellen in me, and my wordis dwelle in you, what euer thing ye wolen, ye schulen axe, and it schal be don to you.
ನೀವು ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನನ್ನ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳು ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನೆಲೆಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದರೆ ನೀವು ಬಯಸುವ ಯಾವುದನ್ನಾದರೂ ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ. ಅದು ನಿಮ್ಮದಾಗುವುದು.
8 In this thing my fadir is clarified, that ye brynge forth ful myche fruyt, and that ye be maad my disciplis.
ನೀವು ಬಹಳ ಫಲಕೊಡುವುದರಿಂದಲೇ ನನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಾಗಿರುವಿರಿ, ಇದರಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಗೆ ಮಹಿಮೆಯಾಗುವುದು.
9 As my fadir louede me, Y haue loued you; dwelle ye in my loue.
“ತಂದೆಯು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿದ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನಾನೂ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಈಗ ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಗೊಂಡಿರಿ.
10 If ye kepen my comaundementis, ye schulen dwelle in my loue; as Y haue kept the comaundementis of my fadir, and Y dwelle in his loue.
ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪಾಲಿಸಿ ಅವರ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಗೊಂಡಿರುವಂತೆಯೇ ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪಾಲಿಸಿ ನಡೆದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಗೊಳ್ಳುವಿರಿ.
11 These thingis Y spak to you, that my ioye be in you, and youre ioye be fulfillid.
ನನ್ನ ಆನಂದವು ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವಂತೆಯೂ ಆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಆನಂದವು ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗುವಂತೆಯೂ ನಾನು ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
12 This is my comaundement, that ye loue togidere, as Y louede you.
ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿದ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನೀವು ಒಬ್ಬರನ್ನೊಬ್ಬರು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಬೇಕೆಂಬುದು ನನ್ನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.
13 No man hath more loue than this, that a man putte his lijf for hise freendis.
ಒಬ್ಬನು ತನ್ನ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರಿಗಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನೇ ಕೊಡುವ ಪ್ರೀತಿಗಿಂತ ಮಹತ್ತಾದದ್ದು ಯಾರಲ್ಲೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.
14 Ye ben my freendis if ye doen tho thingis, that Y comaunde to you.
ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಪಾಲಿಸಿದರೆ ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರು.
15 Now Y schal not clepe you seruauntis, for the seruaunt woot not, what his lord schal do; but Y haue clepid you freendis, for alle thingis what euere Y herde of my fadir, Y haue maad knowun to you.
ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಆಳುಗಳೆಂದು ಕರೆಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ತನ್ನ ಧಣಿಯು ಮಾಡುವಂಥದ್ದು ಆಳಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರೆಂದು ಕರೆದಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಿಂದ ಕೇಳಿದ್ದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
16 Ye han not chosun me, but Y chees you; and Y haue put you, that ye go, and brynge forth fruyt, and youre fruyt dwelle; that what euere thing ye axen the fadir in my name, he yyue to you.
ನೀವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ. ನಾನೇ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನೀವು ಹೋಗಿ ಫಲಕೊಡುವಂತೆಯೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಫಲವು ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿರುವಂತೆಯೂ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಹೀಗೆ ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಏನು ಕೇಳಿಕೊಂಡರೂ ಅವರು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೊಡುವರು.
17 These thingis Y comaunde to you, that ye loue togidere.
ನೀವು ಒಬ್ಬರನ್ನೊಬ್ಬರು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಬೇಕೆಂಬುದೇ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೊಡುವ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.
18 If the world hatith you, wite ye, that it hadde me in hate rather than you.
“ಲೋಕವು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ದ್ವೇಷಿಸಿದರೆ ನಿಮಗಿಂತ ಮೊದಲು ಅದು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ದ್ವೇಷಿಸಿತು ಎಂದು ನೀವು ತಿಳಿಯಿರಿ.
19 If ye hadden be of the world, the world schulde loue that thing that was his; but for ye ben not of the world, but Y chees you fro the world, therfor the world hatith you.
ನೀವು ಲೋಕದವರಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಲೋಕವು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಲೋಕದವರಲ್ಲದೆ ಇರುವುದರಿಂದಲೂ ನಾನು ಲೋಕದೊಳಗಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡದ್ದರಿಂದಲೂ ಲೋಕವು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ದ್ವೇಷಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
20 Haue ye mynde of my word, which Y seide to you, The seruaunt is not grettere than his lord. If thei han pursued me, thei schulen pursue you also; if thei han kept my word, thei schulen kepe youre also.
‘ಧಣಿಗಿಂತ ಆಳು ದೊಡ್ಡವನಲ್ಲ,’ ಎಂದು ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಮಾತನ್ನು ನೆನಪಿಗೆ ತಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ. ಅವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಸಿಸಿದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸಹ ಹಿಂಸೆಪಡಿಸುವರು. ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಿದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಸಹ ಅನುಸರಿಸುವರು.
21 But thei schulen do to you alle these thingis for my name, for thei knowen not hym that sente me.
ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯದಿರುವುದರಿಂದಲೇ ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿಮಗೆ ಮಾಡುವರು.
22 If Y hadde not comun, and hadde not spokun to hem, thei schulden not haue synne; but now thei haue noon excusacioun of her synne.
ನಾನು ಬಂದು ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡದಿದ್ದರೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಪಾಪವು ಇರುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ಈಗ ಅವರ ಪಾಪದ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ನೆಪವಿಲ್ಲ.
23 He that hatith me, hatith also my fadir.
ನನ್ನನ್ನು ದ್ವೇಷಿಸುವವರು ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಸಹ ದ್ವೇಷಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
24 If Y hadde not doon werkis in hem, whiche noon other man dide, thei schulden not haue synne; but now both thei han seyn, and hatid me and my fadir.
ಬೇರೆ ಯಾರೂ ಮಾಡದ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಾನು ಅವರ ನಡುವೆ ಮಾಡದೆ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಪಾಪವು ಇರುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ಈಗ ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಂಡೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನೂ ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನೂ ದ್ವೇಷಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
25 But that the word be fulfillid, that is writun in her lawe, For thei hadden me in hate with outen cause.
ಆದರೆ, ‘ಅವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಿಷ್ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿ ದ್ವೇಷಮಾಡಿದರು,’ ಎಂದು ಅವರ ನಿಯಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿರುವ ಮಾತು ನೆರವೇರುವಂತೆ ಹೀಗಾಯಿತು.
26 But whanne the coumfortour schal come, which Y schal sende to you fro the fadir, a spirit of treuthe, which cometh of the fadir, he schal bere witnessyng of me;
“ಆದರೂ ತಂದೆಯ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಕೊಡುವ ಆ ಸಹಾಯಕರೊಬ್ಬರು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರುವರು. ಆಗ ತಂದೆಯಿಂದ ಬರುವ ಆ ಸತ್ಯದ ಆತ್ಮವಾಗಿರುವವರೇ ನನ್ನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಕೊಡುವರು.
27 and ye schulen bere witnessyng, for ye ben with me fro the bigynnyng.
ನೀವು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭದಿಂದಲೂ ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದುದರಿಂದ ನೀವು ಸಹ ನನಗೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
