< Job 42 >

1 Forsothe Joob answeride to the Lord, and seide,
Pea naʻe toki tali ʻe Siope kia Sihova, ʻo ne pehē,
2 Y woot, that thou maist alle thingis, and no thouyt is hid fro thee.
“ʻOku ou ʻilo ʻoku ke faʻa fai ʻae meʻa kotoa pē, pea ʻoku ʻikai ha mahalo ʻe faʻa puli meiate koe.
3 Who is this, that helith counsel with out kunnyng? Therfor Y spak vnwiseli, and tho thingis that passiden ouer mesure my kunnyng.
‘Ko hai ia ʻoku ne fufū ʻae fakakaukau ʻi he taʻeʻilo?’ Ko ia, kuo u puʻaki ʻaia naʻe ʻikai te u ʻiloʻi; ʻae ngaahi meʻa lahi hake fau ʻiate au, ʻaia naʻe ʻikai te u ʻiloa.
4 Here thou, and Y schal speke; Y schal axe thee, and answere thou to me.
‘ʻOku ou kole kiate koe ke ke fanongo mai, pea te u lea: te u ʻeke kiate koe, pea ke fakahā mai kiate au.’
5 Bi heryng of eere Y herde thee, but now myn iye seeth thee.
Kuo u fanongo kiate koe ʻi he fanongo ʻoe telinga: ka ko eni kuo mamata ʻe hoku mata kiate koe.
6 Therfor Y repreue me, and do penaunce in deed sparcle and aische.
Ko ia ʻoku ou fehiʻa ai kiate au, ʻo fakatomala ʻi he efu mo e efuefu.”
7 Forsothe aftir that the Lord spak these wordis to Joob, he seide to Eliphat Themanytes, My stronge veniaunce is wrooth ayens thee, and ayens thi twey frendis; for ye `spaken not bifor me riytful thing, as my seruaunt Joob dide.
Pea naʻe pehē, hili ʻae folofola ʻa Sihova ʻaki ʻae ngaahi lea ni kia Siope, “Naʻe folofola ʻa Sihova kia Elifasi mei Timani, Kuo tupu hoku houhau kiate koe, mo ho kāinga ʻe toko ua: he ʻoku ʻikai te mou lea ʻaki kiate au ʻae meʻa ʻoku totonu, ʻo hangē ko ʻeku tamaioʻeiki ko Siope.
8 Therfor take ye to you seuene bolis, and seuene rammes; and go ye to my seruaunt Joob, and offre ye brent sacrifice for you. Forsothe Joob, my seruaunt, schal preie for you; Y schal resseyue his face, that foli be not arettid to you; for ye `spaken not bifor me riytful thing, as my seruaunt Joob dide.
Ko ia ke mou toʻo ni kiate kimoutolu ʻae fanga pulu ʻe fitu, mo e sipitangata ʻe fitu, ʻo ʻalu ki heʻeku tamaioʻeiki ko Siope, pea ʻohake ʻae feilaulau tutu koeʻuhi ko kimoutolu; pea ʻe hūfia ʻakimoutolu ʻe heʻeku tamaioʻeiki ko Siope: he te u maʻu ia: telia naʻaku taaʻi kiate kimoutolu ʻo hangē ko hoʻomou vale, ko e meʻa ʻi he ʻikai te mou lea ʻaki kiate au ʻaia ʻoku totonu, ʻo hangē ko ʻeku tamaioʻeiki ko Siope.”
9 Therfor Eliphat Themanytes, and Baldach Suythes, and Sophar Naamathites, yeden, and diden, as the Lord hedde spoke to hem; and the Lord resseyuede the face of Joob.
Ko ia naʻe ʻalu ai ʻa Elifasi mei Timani, mo Pilitati mei Suaa, mo Sofaa mei Neama, ʻonau fai ʻo hangē ko e fekau ʻa Sihova kiate kinautolu: pea naʻe maʻu ʻe Sihova ʻa Siope foki.
10 Also the Lord was conuertid to the penaunce of Joob, whanne he preiede for hise frendis. And the Lord addide alle thingis double, whiche euere weren of Joob.
Pea naʻe liliu ʻe Sihova ʻae pōpula ʻo Siope, ʻi heʻene hūfia hono kāinga: pea naʻe fakamaʻumeʻa ʻe Sihova kia Siope ʻo liunga ua hake ʻi he meʻa naʻa ne maʻu ʻi muʻa.
11 Sotheli alle hise britheren, and alle hise sistris, and alle that knewen hym bifore, camen to hym; and thei eeten breed with hym in his hows, and moueden the heed on hym; and thei coumfortiden hym of al the yuel, which the Lord hadde brouyt in on hym; and thei yauen to hym ech man o scheep, and o goldun eere ring.
Pea naʻe toki haʻu kiate ia ʻa hono ngaahi kāinga kotoa pē, mo hono ngaahi tuofefine, mo kinautolu kotoa pē naʻa nau kaumeʻa mo ia ʻi muʻa, ʻonau kai mā mo ia ʻi hono fale: pea naʻa nau tēngihia ia, ʻo fakafiemālie ia ʻi he ngaahi kovi kotoa pē naʻe ʻomi ʻe Sihova kiate ia: pea naʻe foaki ʻe he tangata taki taha kotoa pē kiate ia ʻae paʻanga, mo e hau koula.
12 Forsothe the Lord blesside the laste thingis of Joob, more than the bigynnyng of hym; and fouretene thousynde of scheep weren maad to hym, and sixe thousinde of camels, and a thousynde yockis of oxis, and a thousynde femal assis.
Pea naʻe tāpuaki lahi hake ʻe Sihova ʻae moʻui kimui ʻa Siope ʻi heʻene moʻui ki muʻa: he naʻa ne maʻu ʻae sipi ʻe taha mano ma fā afe, mo e kāmeli ʻe ono afe, mo e fanga pulu taulua ʻe taha afe, mo e ʻasi fefine ʻe taha afe.
13 And he hadde seuene sones, and thre douytris;
Pea naʻa ne maʻu foki ʻae foha ʻe toko fitu mo e ʻofefine ʻe toko tolu.
14 and he clepide the name of o douytir Dai, and the name of the secounde douytir Cassia, and the name of the thridde douytir `An horn of wymmens oynement.
Pea naʻa ne ui ʻae hingoa ʻoe ʻuluaki, ko Simaima, mo e hingoa ʻo hono toko ua, ko Kesaia, mo e hingoa ʻo hono toko tolu, ko Keleni-Hapuka.
15 `Sotheli no wymmen weren foundun so faire in al erthe, as the douytris of Joob; and her fadir yaf eritage to hem among her britheren.
Pea naʻe ʻikai ʻilo ʻi he fonua kotoa pē ha kau fefine hoihoifua ʻo hangē ko e ngaahi ʻofefine ʻo Siope: pea naʻe foaki ʻae tofiʻa kiate kinautolu ʻe heʻenau tamai ʻi he fakataha mo honau ngaahi tuongaʻane.
16 Forsothe Joob lyuede aftir these betyngis an hundrid and fourti yeer, and `siy hise sones, and the sones of hise sones, `til to the fourthe generacioun;
Pea hili ʻae meʻa ni naʻe moʻui ʻa Siope ʻi he taʻu ʻe teau ma fāngofulu, ʻo ne mamata ki hono ngaahi foha, mo e ngaahi foha ʻo hono ngaahi foha, ʻio, ko e toʻutangata ʻe fā.
17 and he was deed eld, and ful of daies.
Pea naʻe pekia ʻa Siope, kuo motuʻa mo fonu ʻi he ngaahi ʻaho.
