Job 42
1 Forsothe Joob answeride to the Lord, and seide,
௧அப்பொழுது யோபு யெகோவாவுக்கு மறுமொழியாக:
2 Y woot, that thou maist alle thingis, and no thouyt is hid fro thee.
௨“தேவரீர் எல்லாவற்றையும் செய்ய சர்வவல்லமையுள்ள தேவன்; நீர் செய்ய நினைத்தது தடைபடாது என்பதை அறிந்திருக்கிறேன்.
3 Who is this, that helith counsel with out kunnyng? Therfor Y spak vnwiseli, and tho thingis that passiden ouer mesure my kunnyng.
௩அறிவில்லாமல் ஆலோசனையை மறைக்கிற இவன் யார்? ஆகையால் நான் எனக்குத் தெரியாததையும், என் புத்திக்கு எட்டாததையும், நான் அறியாததையும் குழப்பினேன் என்கிறேன்.
4 Here thou, and Y schal speke; Y schal axe thee, and answere thou to me.
௪நீர் நான் சொல்வதைக் கேளும், அப்பொழுது நான் பேசுவேன்; நான் உம்மைக் கேள்வி கேட்பேன், நீர் எனக்கு பதில் சொல்லும்.
5 Bi heryng of eere Y herde thee, but now myn iye seeth thee.
௫என் காதால் உம்மைக்குறித்துக் கேள்விப்பட்டேன்; இப்பொழுதோ என் கண் உம்மைக் காண்கிறது.
6 Therfor Y repreue me, and do penaunce in deed sparcle and aische.
௬ஆகையால் நான் என்னை வெறுத்து, தூளிலும் சாம்பலிலும் இருந்து மனவேதனைப்படுகிறேன்” என்றான்.
7 Forsothe aftir that the Lord spak these wordis to Joob, he seide to Eliphat Themanytes, My stronge veniaunce is wrooth ayens thee, and ayens thi twey frendis; for ye `spaken not bifor me riytful thing, as my seruaunt Joob dide.
௭யெகோவா இந்த வார்த்தைகளை யோபுடன் பேசினபின், யெகோவா தேமானியனான எலிப்பாசை நோக்கி: “உன்மேலும் உன் இரண்டு நண்பர்கள்மேலும் எனக்குக் கோபம் வருகிறது; என் ஊழியனாகிய யோபு பேசினதுபோல், நீங்கள் என்னைக்குறித்து நிதானமாகப் பேசவில்லை.
8 Therfor take ye to you seuene bolis, and seuene rammes; and go ye to my seruaunt Joob, and offre ye brent sacrifice for you. Forsothe Joob, my seruaunt, schal preie for you; Y schal resseyue his face, that foli be not arettid to you; for ye `spaken not bifor me riytful thing, as my seruaunt Joob dide.
௮ஆதலால் நீங்கள் ஏழு காளைகளையும், ஏழு ஆட்டுக்கடாக்களையும் தெரிந்துகொண்டு, என் தாசனாகிய யோபினிடத்தில் போய், உங்களுக்காகச் சர்வாங்க தகனபலிகளைச் செலுத்துங்கள்; என் தாசனாகிய யோபும் உங்களுக்காக வேண்டுதல் செய்வான்; நான் அவனுடைய முகத்தைப் பார்த்து, உங்களை உங்கள் புத்தியீனத்திற்கு ஏற்றவிதத்தில் நடத்தாதிருப்பேன்; என் ஊழியனாகிய யோபு பேசினதுபோல், நீங்கள் என்னைக்குறித்து நிதானமாகப் பேசவில்லை” என்றார்.
9 Therfor Eliphat Themanytes, and Baldach Suythes, and Sophar Naamathites, yeden, and diden, as the Lord hedde spoke to hem; and the Lord resseyuede the face of Joob.
௯அப்பொழுது தேமானியனான எலிப்பாசும் சூகியனான பில்தாதும் நாகமாத்தியனான சோப்பாரும்போய், யெகோவா தங்களுக்குச் சொன்னபடியே செய்தார்கள்; அப்பொழுது யெகோவா யோபின் முகத்தைப் பார்த்தார்.
10 Also the Lord was conuertid to the penaunce of Joob, whanne he preiede for hise frendis. And the Lord addide alle thingis double, whiche euere weren of Joob.
௧0யோபு தன் நண்பனுக்காக வேண்டுதல் செய்தபோது, யெகோவா அவனுடைய சிறையிருப்பை மாற்றினார். யோபுக்கு முன் இருந்த எல்லாவற்றைவிட இரண்டுமடங்காகக் யெகோவா அவனுக்குத் தந்தருளினார்.
11 Sotheli alle hise britheren, and alle hise sistris, and alle that knewen hym bifore, camen to hym; and thei eeten breed with hym in his hows, and moueden the heed on hym; and thei coumfortiden hym of al the yuel, which the Lord hadde brouyt in on hym; and thei yauen to hym ech man o scheep, and o goldun eere ring.
௧௧அப்பொழுது அவனுடைய எல்லாச் சகோதரரும் சகோதரிகளும், முன்பு அவனுக்கு அறிமுகமான அனைவரும் அவனிடத்தில் வந்து, அவன் வீட்டிலே அவனுடன் உணவருந்தி, யெகோவா அவன்மேல் வரச்செய்த எல்லா பாதிப்பினால் அவனுக்காக அங்கலாய்த்து, அவனுக்கு ஆறுதல் சொல்லி, அவரவர் ஒவ்வொரு தங்கக்காசையும், அவரவர் ஒவ்வொரு பொன் ஆபரணத்தையும் அவனுக்குக் கொடுத்தார்கள்.
12 Forsothe the Lord blesside the laste thingis of Joob, more than the bigynnyng of hym; and fouretene thousynde of scheep weren maad to hym, and sixe thousinde of camels, and a thousynde yockis of oxis, and a thousynde femal assis.
௧௨யெகோவா யோபின் முன்னிலைமையைப் பார்க்கிலும் அவனுடைய பின்னிலைமையை ஆசீர்வதித்தார்; பதினான்காயிரம் ஆடுகளும், ஆறாயிரம் ஒட்டகங்களும், ஆயிரம் ஏர்மாடுகளும், ஆயிரம் கழுதைகளும் அவனுக்கு இருந்தது.
13 And he hadde seuene sones, and thre douytris;
௧௩ஏழு மகன்களும் மூன்று மகள்களும் அவனுக்குப் பிறந்தார்கள்.
14 and he clepide the name of o douytir Dai, and the name of the secounde douytir Cassia, and the name of the thridde douytir `An horn of wymmens oynement.
௧௪மூத்த மகளுக்கு எமீமாள் என்றும், இரண்டாம் மகளுக்குக் கெத்சீயாள் என்றும், மூன்றாம் மகளுக்குக் கேரேனாப்புக் என்றும் பெயரிட்டான்.
15 `Sotheli no wymmen weren foundun so faire in al erthe, as the douytris of Joob; and her fadir yaf eritage to hem among her britheren.
௧௫தேசத்தில் எங்கும் யோபின் மகள்களைப்போல அழகான பெண்கள் காணப்படவில்லை; அவர்கள் தகப்பன் அவர்கள் சகோதரரின் நடுவிலே அவர்களுக்கு சொத்துக்களைக் கொடுத்தான்.
16 Forsothe Joob lyuede aftir these betyngis an hundrid and fourti yeer, and `siy hise sones, and the sones of hise sones, `til to the fourthe generacioun;
௧௬இதற்குப்பின்பு யோபு நூற்று நாற்பது வருடங்கள் உயிருடன் இருந்து, நான்கு தலைமுறையாகத் தன் பிள்ளைகளையும் தன் பிள்ளைகளுடைய பிள்ளைகளையும் கண்டான்.
17 and he was deed eld, and ful of daies.
௧௭யோபு அதிக நாட்கள் இருந்து, பூரண வயதுள்ளவனாய் இறந்தான்.
