Job 40
1 And the Lord addide, and spak to Joob,
೧ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಯೋಬನಿಗೆ,
2 Whether he, that stryueth with God, schal haue rest so liytli? Sotheli he, that repreueth God, owith for to answere to hym.
೨“ತರ್ಕಮಾಡುವವನು ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರ ಸಂಗಡಲೂ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯವಾಡುವನೋ? ದೇವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ವಿವಾದಮಾಡುವವನು ಇದಕ್ಕೆಲ್ಲಾ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಡಲಿ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
3 Forsothe Joob answeride to the Lord,
೩ಆಗ ಯೋಬನು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರವಾಗಿ,
4 and seide, What may Y answere, which haue spoke liytli? Y schal putte myn hond on my mouth.
೪“ಅಯ್ಯೋ, ನಾನು ಅಲ್ಪನೇ ಸರಿ, ನಿನಗೆ ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಏನು ಹೇಳಲಿ? ಬಾಯಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೈಯಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು.
5 Y spak o thing, which thing Y wold, that Y hadde not seid; and Y spak anothir thing, to which Y schal no more adde.
೫ಒಂದು ಸಾರಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ಪ್ರತಿವಾದ ಮಾಡಲಾರೆನು; ಎರಡು ಸಲ ಹೌದು, ಇನ್ನೇನೂ ನುಡಿಯಲಾರೆನು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
6 Forsothe the Lord answeride to Joob fro the whirlewynd,
೬ಆ ಮೇಲೆ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಬಿರುಗಾಳಿಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಯೋಬನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಹೀಗೆಂದನು,
7 and seide, Girde thou as a man thi leendis, and Y schal axe thee, and schewe thou to me.
೭“ಶೂರನಂತೆ ನಡುಕಟ್ಟಿಕೋ! ನಾನು ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಮಾಡುವೆನು, ನೀನೇ ನನಗೆ ಉಪದೇಶಿಸು.
8 Whether thou schalt make voide my doom, and schalt condempne me, that thou be maad iust?
೮ನನ್ನ ನೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಖಂಡಿಸಿಬಿಡುವಿಯಾ? ನಿನ್ನ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಕ್ಕೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೆಟ್ಟವನೆಂದು ನಿರ್ಣಯಿಸುವೆಯೋ?
9 And if thou hast an arm, as God hath, and if thou thundrist with lijk vois, `take thou fairnesse aboute thee,
೯ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯೂ, ದೇವರ ಕೈಯೂ ಸಮವೋ? ದೇವರ ಧ್ವನಿಯಂತೆ ಗುಡುಗಬಲ್ಲಿಯಾ?
10 and be thou reisid an hiy, and be thou gloriouse, and be thou clothid `in faire clothis.
೧೦ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನೀನೇ ಮಹಿಮೆ ಘನತೆಗಳಿಂದ ಭೂಷಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಪ್ರಭಾವ ಮಹತ್ವಗಳನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೋ.
11 Distrie thou proude men in thi woodnesse, and biholde thou, and make lowe ech bostere.
೧೧ತುಂಬಿ ತುಳುಕುವ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೋಪವನ್ನು ಎರಚಿ, ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಗರ್ವಿಷ್ಠನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಣ್ಣಿಟ್ಟು ಅವನನ್ನು ತಗ್ಗಿಸು.
12 Biholde thou alle proude men, and schende thou hem; and al to-breke thou wickid men in her place.
೧೨ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಗರ್ವಿಷ್ಠನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಣ್ಣಿಟ್ಟು ಕುಗ್ಗಿಸಿ, ದುಷ್ಟರನ್ನು ತಟ್ಟನೆ ಕೆಡವಿಬಿಡು.
13 Hide thou hem in dust togidere, and drenche doun her faces in to a diche.
೧೩ಅವರನ್ನು ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಧೂಳಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಡಗಿಸಿ, ಅಂಧಕಾರ ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಮುಖಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಸುಕು ಹಾಕು.
14 And Y schal knowleche, that thi riyt hond may saue thee.
೧೪ಹೀಗಾದರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಬಲಭುಜವು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಬಲ್ಲದೆಂದು ನಾನೇ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೊಗಳುವೆನು.
15 Lo! behemot, whom Y made with thee, schal as an oxe ete hey.
೧೫ನಿನ್ನಂತೆ ನನ್ನ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ನೀರಾನೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡು; ಎತ್ತಿನ ಹಾಗೆ ಹುಲ್ಲನ್ನು ಮೇಯುವುದು.
16 His strengthe is in hise leendis, and his vertu is in the nawle of his wombe.
೧೬ಇಗೋ, ಅದರ ಬಲವು ಸೊಂಟದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಅದರ ಶಕ್ತಿಯು ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಯ ನರಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡಿವೆ.
17 He streyneth his tail as a cedre; the senewis of his `stones of gendrure ben foldid togidere.
೧೭ತನ್ನ ಬಾಲವನ್ನು ದೇವದಾರುವಿನ ಮರದಂತೆ ಬಾಗಿಸುವುದು; ಅದರ ತೊಡೆಯ ನರಗಳು ಹೆಣೆದುಕೊಂಡಿವೆ.
18 Hise boonys ben as the pipis of bras; the gristil of hym is as platis of yrun.
೧೮ಅದರ ಮೂಳೆಗಳು ತಾಮ್ರದ ನಳಗಳಂತೆಯೂ, ಅದರ ಎಲುಬುಗಳು ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಹಾರೆಗಳಂತೆಯೂ ಇರುವವು.
19 He is the bigynnyng of the weies of God; he, that made hym, schal sette his swerd to hym.
೧೯ಅದು ದೇವರ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯವಾದದ್ದು. ಅದನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದವನು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಕೋರೆ ಹಲ್ಲೆಂಬ ಶಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನೂ ಒದಗಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
20 Hillis beren eerbis to this behemot; alle the beestis of the feeld pleien there.
೨೦ಗುಡ್ಡಗಳು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಮೇವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವವು; ಕಾಡುಮೃಗಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಆಡುತ್ತಿರುವವು;
21 He slepith vndur schadewe, in the pryuete of rehed, in moiste places.
೨೧ತಾವರೆಯ ಗಿಡಗಳ ಕೆಳಗೂ, ಆಪಿನ ಮರೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಜವುಗು ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಮಲಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು.
22 Schadewis hilen his schadewe; the salewis of the ryuer cumpassen hym.
೨೨ತಾವರೆ ಗಿಡಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ನೆರಳನ್ನು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಹರಡುವವು, ನದಿಯ ನೀರವಂಜಿಗಳು ಅದನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವವು.
23 He schal soupe vp the flood, and he schal not wondre; he hath trist, that Jordan schal flowe in to his mouth.
೨೩ಓಹೋ, ಹೊಳೆಯು ಉಕ್ಕಿ ಬಂದರೂ ಅದು ಹೆದರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಪ್ರವಾಹವು ಅದರ ಬಾಯೊಳಗೆ ನುಗ್ಗಿದರೂ ಧೈರ್ಯದಿಂದಿರುವುದು.
24 He schal take hem bi `the iyen of hym, as bi an hook; and bi scharpe schaftis he schal perse hise nosethirlis.
೨೪ಯಾರಾದರೂ ಕಣ್ಣೆದುರಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅದನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದಾನೇ? ಗಾಳದಿಂದ ಅದರ ಮೂಗನ್ನು ಚುಚ್ಚಬಲ್ಲನೇ?” ಎಂದನು.
