Job 36
1 Also Helyu addide, and spak these thingis,
૧અલીહૂએ બોલવાનું ચાલુ રાખતાં કહ્યું કે,
2 Suffre thou me a litil, and Y schal schewe to thee; for yit Y haue that, that Y schal speke for God.
૨“મને થોડો વધારે સમય બોલવા દો, અને હું તને બતાવીશ કારણ કે હું ઈશ્વરના પક્ષમાં થોડા વધુ શબ્દો કહેવા માગું છું.”
3 Y schal reherse my kunnyng fro the bigynnyng; and Y schal preue my worchere iust.
૩હું દુરથી ડહાપણ લાવીને; મારા સર્જનહાર ઈશ્વર ન્યાયી છે તે હું સાબિત કરીશ.
4 For verili my wordis ben with out leesyng, and perfit kunnyng schal be preued to thee.
૪હું તને જણાવું છું કે તે ખરેખર સત્ય છે કેમ કે જે સંપૂર્ણ જ્ઞાની છે તે તારી સાથે છે.
5 God castith not awei myyti men, sithen he is myyti;
૫જુઓ, ઈશ્વર સર્વશક્તિમાન છે, અને તે કોઈનો પણ તિરસ્કાર કરતા નથી; તે મહા બુદ્ધિમાન અને વિદ્વાન છે.
6 but he saueth not wickid men, and he yyueth dom to pore men.
૬તેઓ દુષ્ટોને સાચવતા નથી, પણ ગરીબોના હિતમાં સારું કરે છે.
7 He takith not awei hise iyen fro a iust man; and he settith kyngis in seete with out ende, and thei ben reisid there.
૭ન્યાયી માણસ પરથી તેઓની દ્રષ્ટિ દૂર કરતા નથી, પણ તેથી વિપરીત, તે તેઓને રાજાઓની સાથે સિંહાસન પર બેસાડે છે, અને તેઓ સદા ઉચ્ચસ્થાન પર રહે છે.
8 And if thei ben in chaynes, and ben boundun with the roopis of pouert,
૮જો, જેથી કરીને તેઓને સાંકળોએ બાંધવામાં આવ્યા છે, અને તેઓ વિપત્તિમાં સપડાયા છે,
9 he schal shewe to hem her werkis, and her grete trespassis; for thei weren violent, `ethir rauenours.
૯તેઓએ શું કર્યું છે તે તેઓને જણાવશે, કે તેઓએ કરેલા અપરાધો અને કેવી રીતે અહંકારથી વર્ત્યા છે.
10 Also he schal opene her eere, that he chastise; and he schal speke, that thei turne ayen fro wickidnesse.
૧૦તે તેઓના અપરાધોથી પાછા ફરવાનો આદેશ આપશે, અને શિક્ષણ તરફ તેઓના કાન ઉઘાડશે.
11 If thei heren, and kepen, thei schulen fille her daies in good, and her yeris in glorie.
૧૧જો તેઓ તેમનું સાંભળીને તેમની સેવા કરશે તો, તેઓ આયુષ્યના દિવસો સમૃદ્ધિમાં પસાર કરશે, તેઓના જીવનનાં વર્ષો સંતોષથી ભરેલાં થશે.
12 Sotheli if thei heren not, thei schulen passe bi swerd, and thei schulen be wastid in foli.
૧૨પરંતુ જો, તેઓ તેમનું સાંભળશે નહિ તો, તેઓ અજ્ઞાનતામાં જ મરણ પામશે અને તેઓનો નાશ થશે.
13 Feyneris and false men stiren the ire of God; and thei schulen not crye, whanne thei ben boundun.
૧૩જેઓ પોતાના હૃદયથી ઈશ્વર પર ભરોસા રાખતા નથી તેઓ પોતાના હૃદયમાં ગુસ્સો ભેગો કરે છે; ઈશ્વર તેઓને શિક્ષા કરે છે તેમ છતાં તેઓ મદદને માટે પ્રાર્થના કરતા નથી.
14 The soule of hem schal die in tempest; and the lijf of hem among `men of wymmens condiciouns.
૧૪તેઓ તરુણાવસ્થામાં મરણ પામશે; અને કૃપા વિના તેઓના જીવનો નાશ પામશે.
15 He schal delyuere a pore man fro his angwisch; and he schal opene `the eere of hym in tribulacioun.
૧૫ઈશ્વર દુઃખીઓને તેઓના દુઃખમાંથી છોડાવે છે; અને તે તેઓને જુલમ દ્વારા સાંભળતા કરે છે.
16 Therfor he schal saue thee fro the streit mouth of the broddeste tribulacioun, and not hauynge a foundement vndur it; sotheli the rest of thi table schal be ful of fatnesse.
૧૬નિશ્ચે, તે તને વિપત્તિમાંથી બહાર લાવ્યા છે. જ્યાં સંકટ ન હોય તેવી વિશાળ જગ્યામાં લઈ જાય છે અને તને ખાવાને માટે પુષ્કળ પ્રમાણમાં ખોરાક પીરસ્યો છે.
17 Thi cause is demed as the cause of a wickid man; forsothe thou schalt resseyue thi cause and doom.
૧૭તને એક દુષ્ટ વ્યક્તિની જેમ સજા થઈ છે; ન્યાયાસન અને ન્યાયે તને પકડ્યો છે.
18 Therfor ire ouercome thee not, that thou oppresse ony man; and the multitude of yiftis bowe thee not.
૧૮હવે તમે સાવધ રહેજો, જેથી સમૃદ્ધિ તમને ફોસલાવે નહિ; અને મોટી લાંચ તને ન્યાય કરવાથી પાછો રાખે નહિ.
19 Putte doun thi greetnesse with out tribulacioun, and putte doun alle stronge men bi strengthe.
૧૯શું તારી અઢળક સંપત્તિ તને સંકટથી દૂર રાખી શકે છે, અથવા તારી બધી શક્તિ તને મદદ કરી શકે છે?
20 Dilaie thou not nyyt, that puplis stie for hem.
૨૦અન્યની વિરુદ્ધ પાપ કરવાને રાત્રીની ઇચ્છા ન કર, કે જ્યારે લોકો પોતાની જગ્યાએ નાશ પામે છે.
21 Be thou war, that thou bowe not to wickidnesse; for thou hast bigunne to sue this wickidnesse aftir wretchidnesse.
૨૧સાવધ રહેજે, પાપ કરવા તરફ ન ફર, કારણ કે તને સંકટમાંથી પસાર કરાવ્યો છે કે જેથી તું પાપ કરવાથી દૂર રહે.
22 Lo! God is hiy in his strengthe, and noon is lijk hym among the yyueris of lawe.
૨૨જુઓ, ઈશ્વર તેમનાં સામર્થ્ય દ્વારા મહિમાવાન થાય છે; તેમના જેવો ગુરુ કોઈ છે?
23 Who mai seke out the weies of God? ethir who dar seie to hym, Thou hast wrouyt wickidnesse?
૨૩તેમણે શું કરવું એ કોઈ તેમને કહી શકે ખરું? અથવા કોણ તેમને કહી શકે છે કે, ‘તમે અન્યાય કર્યો છે?’
24 Haue thou mynde, that thou knowist not his werk, of whom men sungun.
૨૪તેમનાં કાર્યોની સ્તુતિ કરવાનું યાદ રાખ, લોકોએ ગાયનો મારફતે તેમની સ્તુતિ કરી છે.
25 Alle men seen God; ech man biholdith afer.
૨૫ઈશ્વરે જે કંઈ કર્યુ છે તે સર્વએ નિહાળ્યું છે, પણ તેઓએ તે કાર્યો દૂરથી જ જોયાં છે.
26 Lo! God is greet, ouercomynge oure kunnyng; the noumbre of hise yeeris is with out noumbre.
૨૬જુઓ, ઈશ્વર મહાન છે, આપણે તેમને સંપૂર્ણપણે સમજી શક્તા નથી; તેમનાં વર્ષોની સંખ્યા અગણિત છે.
27 Which takith awei the dropis of reyn; and schedith out reynes at the licnesse of floodyatis,
૨૭તેઓ પાણીનાં ટીંપાં ઊંચે લઈ જાય છે અને તેનું ઝાકળ અને વરાળ વરસાદમાં રૂપાંતર કરે છે,
28 whiche comen doun of the cloudis, that hilen alle thingis aboue.
૨૮તે વાદળોમાંથી પૃથ્વી પર વર્ષે છે, અને મનુષ્યો પર પુષ્કળતામાં વરસાવે છે.
29 If he wole stretche forthe cloudis as his tente,
૨૯ખરેખર, વાદળોનો વિસ્તાર કેટલો છે અને તેનાં ગગનમંડપમાં ગર્જનાઓ કેવી રીતે થાય છે તેને કોણ સમજી શકે?
30 and leite with his liyt fro aboue, he schal hile, yhe,
૩૦જુઓ, તેઓ પૃથ્વી પર વીજળી ફેલાવે છે અને મહાસાગરને અંધકારથી ઢાંકી દે છે.
31 the herris of the see. For bi these thingis he demeth puplis, and yyueth mete to many deedli men.
૩૧આ રીતે ઈશ્વર લોકોને ખવડાવે છે, અને તેઓને ભરપૂર ખોરાક પૂરો પાડે છે.
32 In hondis he hidith liyt; and comaundith it, that it come eft.
૩૨તેઓ પોતાના હાથથી વીજળીને પકડે છે, અને તેને પાડવાની હોય ત્યાં પડવાને આજ્ઞા કરે છે.
33 He tellith of it to his freend, that it is his possessioun; and that he may stie to it.
૩૩તેઓની ગર્જના લોકોને આવનાર તોફાન વિષે ચેતવણી આપે છે: તે જાનવર દ્વારા પણ સમાચાર પહોંચાડે છે કે તોફાન નજીક આવી રહ્યું છે.
