Job 34
1 And Helyu pronounside, and spak also these thingis,
१नंतर अलीहूने आपले बोलणे चालूच ठेवले तो म्हणाला,
2 Wise men, here ye my wordis, and lerned men, herkne ye me; for the eere preueth wordis,
२“शहाण्या मनुष्यांनो मी काय सांगतो ते ऐका हुशार मनुष्यांनो, माझ्याकडे लक्ष द्या.
3 and the throte demeth metis bi taast.
३तुमची जीभ ज्या अन्नाला स्पर्श करते त्याची चव तिला कळते आणि तुमच्या कानांवर जे शब्द पडतात ते त्यांना पारखता येतात.
4 Chese we doom to vs; and se we among vs, what is the betere.
४तेव्हा आपण आता काय न्याय आहे ते निवडून घेवू काय चांगले आहे ते आपण सगळ्यांनी बरोबर शिकू या.
5 For Job seide, Y am iust, and God hath distried my doom.
५ईयोब म्हणतो, मी निष्पाप आहे, आणि देव माझ्याबाबतीत न्यायी नाही.
6 For whi lesynge is in demynge me, and myn arowe is violent with out ony synne.
६मी निरपराध आहे, परंतु माझ्याविरुध्द लागलेला निकाल मला खोटारडा ठरवतो मी निरपराध असूनही मला खूप कष्ट भोगायला लागले.
7 Who is a man, as Joob is, that drynkith scornyng as watir?
७ईयोबासारखा आणखी कोणी आहे का? जो निंदा पाण्याप्रमाणे प्राशन करतो.
8 that goith with men worchynge wickidnesse, and goith with vnfeithful men?
८तो जे वाईट करतात त्यांच्याशी मैत्री करतो, आणि त्यास दुष्टांबरोबर राहायला आवडते,
9 For he seide, A man schal not plese God, yhe, thouy he renneth with God.
९तो असे म्हणतो, ते मनुष्याच्या कामाचे नाही, जर देवाला खुश करायला लागला तर त्यास त्यापासून काहीही मिळणार नाही.
10 Therfor ye men hertid, `that is, vndurstonde, here ye me; vnpite, `ethir cruelte, be fer fro God, and wickidnesse fro Almyyti God.
१०तुम्हास समजू शकते, म्हणून तुम्ही माझे ऐका. देव कधीही दुष्टाई करणार नाही. तो सर्वशक्तिमान कधीच पाप करणार नाही.
11 For he schal yelde the werk of man to hym; and bi the weies of ech man he schal restore to hym.
११एखादा मनुष्य जे काही करतो त्याबद्दल देव त्याची परतफेड करीतो. देव लोकांस त्यांच्या लायकीप्रमाणे देतो
12 For verili God schal not condempne with out cause; nether Almyyti God schal distrie doom.
१२खरोखर, हे देव कधीच वाईट करीत नाही, तो सर्वशक्तिमान कधीच न्यायाला विरोध करीत नाही.
13 What othere man hath he ordeyned on the lond? ether whom hath he set on the world, which he made?
१३देवाला कोणीही पृथ्वीवरचा अधिकारी म्हणून निवडले नाही. सगळ्या जगाची काळजी देवावर कोणी सोपवली नाही.
14 If God dressith his herte to hym, he schal drawe to hym silf his spirit and blast.
१४त्याचे चित्त स्वतःकडेच असते, आणि त्याने आपला आत्मा आणि श्वास स्वतःच्या ठायी परत घेतला
15 Ech fleisch schal faile togidere; `and a man schal turne ayen in to aisch.
१५नंतर सर्व शरीरे एकत्रीत नाश पावतील मनुष्य परत मातीस मिळेल.
16 Therfor if thou hast vndurstondyng, here thou that that is seid, and herkne the vois of my speche.
१६जर तुम्ही शहाणे असाल तर मी काय म्हणतो त्याकडे लक्ष द्याल माझ्या तोंडच्या शब्दाकडे कान दे
17 Whether he that loueth not doom may be maad hool? and hou condempnest thou so myche him, that is iust?
१७जो मनुष्य न्यायी होण्यासंबंधी तिरस्कार करतो तो कधीच राज्यकर्ता होऊ शकत नाही. ईयोब, देव शक्तीमान आणि चांगला आहे. तू त्यास अपराधी ठरवू शकशील असे तुला वाटते का?
18 Which seith to the kyng, Thou art apostata; which clepith the duykis vnpitouse, `ethir vnfeithful.
१८एक देवच असा आहे जो राजांना तुम्ही कवडीमोलाचे आहात. आणि ‘तुम्ही दुष्ट आहात.’ असे ज्ञान्यांना म्हणतो.
19 `Which takith not the persoones of princes, nether knew a tyraunt, whanne he stryuede ayens a pore man; for alle men ben the werk of hise hondis.
१९देव इतरांपेक्षा पुढाऱ्यांवर अधिक प्रेम करीत नाही. देव गरीब मनुष्यापेक्षा श्रीमंतांवर अधिक प्रेम करत नाही? कारण ते सर्व त्याच्या हाताची कृती आहेत.
20 Thei schulen die sudeynli, and at mydnyyt puplis schulen be troblid, `ethir schulen be bowid, as othere bookis han; and schulen passe, and schulen take `awei `a violent man with out hond.
२०माणसे अर्ध्यारात्री एकाएकी मरुन जातात. ते आजारी पडतात आणि मरतात. अगदी शक्तीशाली लोकसुध्दा, कारण नसताना मरतात.
21 For the iyen of God ben on the weies of men, and biholdith alle goyngis of hem.
२१लोक जे करतात ते देव बघतो देव मनुष्याची प्रत्येक हालचाल बघत असतो.
22 No derknessis ben, and no schadewe of deeth is, that thei, that worchen wickidnesse, be hid there;
२२जगात कुठेही अशी अंधारी जागा नाही जिथे वाईट माणसे देवापासून लपून बसू शकतील.
23 for it is `no more in the power of man, that he come to God in to doom.
२३देवाला लोकांची अधिक परीक्षा घेण्यासाठी वेळ ठरवण्याची गरज नसते लोकांचा न्यायनिवाडा करण्यासाठी त्यांना समोर आणण्याची गरजही देवाला भासत नाही.
24 God schal al to-breke many men and vnnoumbrable; and schal make othere men to stonde for hem.
२४शक्तीशाली लोकांचा तो चुराडा करतो, आणि त्यांच्या स्थानी दुसरा स्थापीतो, त्यास त्यांना प्रश्न विचारण्याची गरज वाटत नाही.
25 For he knowith the werkis of hem; therfor he schal brynge yn niyt, and thei schulen be al to-brokun.
२५तेव्हा लोक काय करतात ते देवाला माहीत असते. म्हणूनच देव रात्रीतून दुष्टांना पराभव करतो आणि त्यांचा नि: पात करतो.
26 He smoot hem, as vnpitouse men, in the place of seinge men.
२६वाईट मनुष्यांनी जी दुष्कृत्ये केली असतील त्याबद्दल त्यांना शिक्षा करतो. आणि जिथे इतर त्यांना पाहू शकतील अशा ठिकाणी देव त्यांना शिक्षा करतो.
27 Whiche yeden awei fro hym bi `castyng afore, and nolden vndurstonde alle hise weies.
२७कारण वाईट मनुष्यांनी देवाची आज्ञा पाळायचे थांबवले आणि देवाला हवे ते करण्याकडे त्यांनी दुर्लक्ष केले.
28 That thei schulden make the cry of a nedi man to come to hym, and that he schulde here the vois of pore men.
२८हे दुष्ट लोक गरीबांना कष्ट देतात, आणि मदतीसाठी देवाकडे याचना करायला भाग पाडतात. दिनांची आरोळी त्याच्या कानी गेली.
29 For whanne he grauntith pees, who is that condempneth? Sithen he hidith his cheer, who is that seeth hym? And on folkis and on alle men `he hath power `to do siche thingis.
२९देव गरीबांची मदतीसाठी हाक ऐकतो. परंतु गरीबांना मदत करायची नाही असे देवाने ठरवले तरी देवाला कोणी अपराधी ठरवू शकणार नाही. देवाने जर लोकांपासून लपून राहायचे असे ठरवले तर कोणालाही तो सापडू शकणार नाही म्हणजे कोणीही लोकांस पिजंऱ्यात पकडू शकणार नाही.
30 Which makith `a man ypocrite to regne, for the synnes of the puple.
३०अशासाठी की, अधर्म्याचे राज्य येवू नये, म्हणजे लोकांस कोणी जाळ्यात अडकवू नये.
31 Therfor for Y haue spoke to God, also Y schal not forbede thee.
३१जर तो मनुष्य देवाला म्हणेल की. मी अपराधी आहे. यापुढे मी पाप करणार नाही.
32 If Y erride, teche thou me; if Y spak wickidnesse, Y schal no more adde.
३२जे मी बघू शकत नाही ते मला दाखव. मी जरी पाप केले असेल तरी मी ते पुन्हा करणार नाही.
33 Whether God axith that wickidnesse of thee, for it displeside thee? For thou hast bigunne to speke, and not Y; that if thou knowist ony thing betere, speke thou.
३३तुला असे वाटते का देव त्या मनुष्याचा पापाला शिक्षा करील, देवाने आतापर्यंत केलेले तुला आवडले नाही? हा तुझा निर्णय आहे. माझा नाही. तुला काय वाटते ते मला सांग.
34 Men vndurstondynge, speke to me; and a wise man, here me.
३४शहाणा मनुष्य मला म्हणेल खरोखर, प्रत्येक शहाणा मनुष्य जो माझे ऐकतो तो म्हणेल,
35 Forsothe Joob spak folili, and hise wordis sownen not techyng.
३५‘ईयोब एखाद्या अज्ञानी मनुष्यासारखे बोलत आहे. तो जे काही बोलतो ते अर्थहीन आहे.’
36 My fadir, be Joob preuede `til to the ende; ceesse thou not fro the man of wickidnesse,
३६जर फक्त ईयोबालाच त्याच्या वादाबद्दल कसोटीस लावत असू कारण तो एखाद्या दुष्ट मनुष्यासारखे बोलत आहे.
37 `that addith blasfemye ouer hise synnes. Be he constreyned among vs in the meene tyme; and thanne bi hise wordis stire he God to the doom.
३७त्याच्या पापात त्याने आणखी बंडाची भर घातली आहे. तो टाळी वाजवितो आमच्या मध्ये थट्टा करतो देवाविरूद्ध अनेक शब्द बोलतो.”
