Job 33
1 Therfor, Joob, here thou my spechis, and herkene alle my wordis.
੧“ਇਸ ਲਈ ਹੇ ਅੱਯੂਬ, ਹੁਣ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਸੁਣ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਬਚਨਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਕੰਨ ਲਾ!
2 Lo! Y haue openyd my mouth, my tunge schal speke in my chekis.
੨ਵੇਖ, ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਖੋਲ੍ਹਿਆ ਹੈ, ਮੇਰੀ ਜੀਭ ਬੋਲਣ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਹੈ,
3 Of symple herte ben my wordis, and my lippis schulen speke clene sentence.
੩ਮੇਰਾ ਬੋਲਣਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਦਿਲ ਦੀ ਸਿਧਿਆਈ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਗਟ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਬੁੱਲ੍ਹ ਗਿਆਨ ਨੂੰ ਸਫ਼ਾਈ ਨਾਲ ਬੋਲਣਗੇ।
4 The spirit of God made me, and the brething of Almyyti God quykenyde me.
੪ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਆਤਮਾ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਜਿਆ, ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਦੇ ਸਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਜੀਵਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
5 If thou maist, answere thou to me, and stoonde thou ayens my face.
੫ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਉੱਤਰ ਦੇ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈਂ ਤਾਂ ਦੇ, ਮੇਰੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਆਪਣਾ ਤਰਕ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਹੋ ਜਾ!
6 Lo! God made me as and thee; and also Y am formyd of the same cley.
੬ਵੇਖ, ਮੈਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਲਈ ਤੇਰੇ ਜਿਹਾ ਹੀ ਹਾਂ, ਮੈਂ ਵੀ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਢੇਲੇ ਦਾ ਬਣਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹਾਂ।
7 Netheles my myracle make thee not afeerd, and myn eloquence be not greuouse to thee.
੭ਵੇਖ, ਮੇਰੇ ਭੈਅ ਤੋਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਘਬਰਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਨਹੀਂ, ਮੇਰਾ ਦਾਵਾ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਾਰੀ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
8 Therfor thou seidist in myn eeris, and Y herde the vois of thi wordis;
੮“ਸੱਚ-ਮੁੱਚ ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੰਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਈਆਂ ਹਨ, ਤੇਰੇ ਬੋਲਣ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਮੈਂ ਸੁਣੀ ਹੈ,
9 Y am cleene, and with out gilt, and vnwemmed, and wickidnesse is not in me.
੯ਭਈ ਮੈਂ ਤਾਂ ਸਾਫ਼ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਰਅਪਰਾਧ ਹਾਂ, ਮੈਂ ਪਾਕ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਰਦੋਸ਼ ਹਾਂ।
10 `For God foond querels in me, therfor he demyde me enemy to hym silf.
੧੦ਪਰ ਵੇਖ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਮੌਕਾ ਲੱਭਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਵੈਰੀ ਗਿਣਦਾ ਹੈ।
11 He hath set my feet in a stok; he kepte alle my pathis.
੧੧ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਠ ਵਿੱਚ ਠੋਕ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਰਾਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੱਕਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
12 Therfor this thing it is, in which thou art not maad iust; Y schal answere to thee, that God is more than man.
੧੨“ਪਰ ਵੇਖ, ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਤੂੰ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਧਰਮੀ ਨਹੀਂ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਹੈ।
13 Thou stryuest ayenus God, that not at alle wordis he answeride to thee.
੧੩ਤੂੰ ਕਿਉਂ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਝਗੜਦਾ ਹੈਂ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਗੱਲ ਦਾ ਉੱਤਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੰਦਾ!
14 God spekith onys, and the secounde tyme he rehersith not the same thing.
੧੪ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰ ਬੋਲਦਾ ਹੈ, ਸਗੋਂ ਦੋ ਵਾਰ ਪਰ ਲੋਕ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਾਉਂਦੇ।
15 God spekith bi a dreem in the visioun of nyyt, whanne sleep fallith on men, and thei slepen in the bed.
੧੫ਸੁਫ਼ਨੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਂ ਰਾਤ ਦੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਣ ਵਿੱਚ, ਜਦ ਭਾਰੀ ਨੀਂਦ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਆ ਪੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਜਦ ਉਹ ਆਪਣਿਆਂ ਬਿਸਤਰਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਸੌਂਦੇ ਹਨ,
16 Thanne he openith the eeris of men, and he techith hem, `and techith prudence;
੧੬ਤਦ ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੰਨ ਖੋਲ੍ਹਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਡਰਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ,
17 that he turne awei a man fro these thingis whiche he made, and delyuere hym fro pride; delyuerynge his soule fro corrupcioun,
੧੭ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਭੈੜੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਰੋਕੇ, ਅਤੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਰੱਖੇ।
18 and his lijf, that it go not in to swerd.
੧੮ਉਹ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਜਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਟੋਏ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਨੂੰ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਨਾਸ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ।
19 Also God blameth a synnere bi sorewe in the bed, and makith alle the boonys of hym `to fade.
੧੯“ਜਦ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੀ ਤਾੜਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਬਿਸਤਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਦਰਦ ਨਾਲ ਦੱਬ ਕੇ ਝੁੱਲਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੋਜ਼ ਦੀ ਅਣ-ਬਣ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ।
20 Breed is maad abhomynable to hym in his lijf, and mete desirable `bifor to his soule.
੨੦ਉਹ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਣ ਰੋਟੀ ਤੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਜਾਨ ਸੁਆਦਲੇ ਭੋਜਨ ਤੋਂ ਘਿਣ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗਦੀ ਹੈ।
21 His fleisch schal faile for rot, and hise boonys, that weren hilid, schulen be maad nakid.
੨੧ਉਸ ਦਾ ਮਾਸ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਸੁੱਕ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਵਿਖਾਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੰਦਾ, ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵਿਖਾਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਨ ਦਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਨਿੱਕਲ ਆਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ!
22 His soule schal neiye to corrupcioun, and his lijf to thingis `bryngynge deeth.
੨੨ਉਸ ਦੀ ਜਾਨ ਕਬਰ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਪਹੁੰਚਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਣ ਮੌਤ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਵੱਸ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
23 If an aungel, oon of a thousynde, is spekynge for hym, that he telle the equyte of man, God schal haue mercy on hym,
੨੩ਹੁਣ ਜੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਕੋਈ ਦੂਤ ਹੋਵੇ ਜੋ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਵੇ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਰਥ ਕਰਕੇ ਦੱਸੇ ਕਿ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਕੀ ਠੀਕ ਹੈ।
24 and schal seie, Delyuere thou hym, that he go not doun in to corrupcioun; Y haue founde in what thing Y schal do merci to hym.
੨੪ਤਦ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਦਯਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਟੋਏ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੈਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾ ਲੈ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਾਸਚਿੱਤ ਮਿਲ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
25 His fleisch is wastid of turmentis; turne he ayen to the daies of his yonge wexynge age.
੨੫ਉਸ ਦਾ ਮਾਸ ਬਾਲਕ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਹਰਿਆ-ਭਰਿਆ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਉਸ ਦੀ ਜੁਆਨੀ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਵੱਲ ਮੁੜ ਆਉਣਗੇ।
26 He schal biseche God, and he schal be quemeful to hym; and he schal se his face in hertly ioye, and he schal yelde to man his riytfulnesse.
੨੬ਉਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਅੱਗੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਬੂਲ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਉਹ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਦਰਸ਼ਣ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਧਰਮ ਫੇਰ ਮੋੜ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।
27 He schal biholde men, and he schal seie, Y haue synned, and verili Y haue trespassid; and Y haue not resseyued, as Y was worthi.
੨੭ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਗਾਉਣ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਣ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ, - ਮੈਂ ਪਾਪ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਧੀ ਗੱਲ ਨੂੰ ਉਲੱਦ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਪਰ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਬਦਲਾ ਮੈਥੋਂ ਨਾ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ।
28 For he delyueride his soule, that it schulde not go in to perischyng, but that he lyuynge schulde se liyt.
੨੮ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਕਬਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਇਆ, ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਣ ਚਾਨਣ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖੇਗਾ!
29 Lo! God worchith alle these thingis in thre tymes bi alle men;
੨੯“ਵੇਖ, ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੰਮ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ, ਦੋ ਵਾਰ ਸਗੋਂ ਤਿੰਨ ਵਾਰ ਵੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ,
30 that he ayen clepe her soulis fro corrupcioun, and liytne in the liyt of lyuynge men.
੩੦ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਜਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਕਬਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਜੀਉਂਦਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਚਾਨਣ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਿਤ ਹੋਵੇ।
31 Thou, Joob, perseyue, and here me, and be thou stille, the while Y speke.
੩੧“ਹੇ ਅੱਯੂਬ, ਧਿਆਨ ਲਾ ਕੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਸੁਣ, ਚੁੱਪ ਵੱਟ ਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਬੋਲਾਂਗਾ।
32 Sotheli if thou hast what thou schalt speke, answere thou to me, speke thou; for Y wole, that thou appere iust.
੩੨ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਕੁਝ ਬੋਲਣਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉੱਤਰ ਦੇ, ਬੋਲ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਨਿਰਦੋਸ਼ ਠਹਿਰਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
33 That if thou hast not, here thou me; be thou stille, and Y schal teche thee wisdom.
੩੩ਜੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੀ ਸੁਣ, ਚੁੱਪ ਵੱਟ, ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਬੁੱਧ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਸਿਖਾਵਾਂਗਾ।”
