Job 33
1 Therfor, Joob, here thou my spechis, and herkene alle my wordis.
१“इसलिए अब, हे अय्यूब! मेरी बातें सुन ले, और मेरे सब वचनों पर कान लगा।
2 Lo! Y haue openyd my mouth, my tunge schal speke in my chekis.
२मैंने तो अपना मुँह खोला है, और मेरी जीभ मुँह में चुलबुला रही है।
3 Of symple herte ben my wordis, and my lippis schulen speke clene sentence.
३मेरी बातें मेरे मन की सिधाई प्रगट करेंगी; जो ज्ञान मैं रखता हूँ उसे खराई के साथ कहूँगा।
4 The spirit of God made me, and the brething of Almyyti God quykenyde me.
४मुझे परमेश्वर की आत्मा ने बनाया है, और सर्वशक्तिमान की साँस से मुझे जीवन मिलता है।
5 If thou maist, answere thou to me, and stoonde thou ayens my face.
५यदि तू मुझे उत्तर दे सके, तो दे; मेरे सामने अपनी बातें क्रम से रचकर खड़ा हो जा।
6 Lo! God made me as and thee; and also Y am formyd of the same cley.
६देख, मैं परमेश्वर के सन्मुख तेरे तुल्य हूँ; मैं भी मिट्टी का बना हुआ हूँ।
7 Netheles my myracle make thee not afeerd, and myn eloquence be not greuouse to thee.
७सुन, तुझे डर के मारे घबराना न पड़ेगा, और न तू मेरे बोझ से दबेगा।
8 Therfor thou seidist in myn eeris, and Y herde the vois of thi wordis;
८“निःसन्देह तेरी ऐसी बात मेरे कानों में पड़ी है और मैंने तेरे वचन सुने हैं,
9 Y am cleene, and with out gilt, and vnwemmed, and wickidnesse is not in me.
९‘मैं तो पवित्र और निरपराध और निष्कलंक हूँ; और मुझ में अधर्म नहीं है।
10 `For God foond querels in me, therfor he demyde me enemy to hym silf.
१०देख, परमेश्वर मुझसे झगड़ने के दाँव ढूँढ़ता है, और मुझे अपना शत्रु समझता है;
11 He hath set my feet in a stok; he kepte alle my pathis.
११वह मेरे दोनों पाँवों को काठ में ठोंक देता है, और मेरी सारी चाल पर दृष्टि रखता है।’
12 Therfor this thing it is, in which thou art not maad iust; Y schal answere to thee, that God is more than man.
१२“देख, मैं तुझे उत्तर देता हूँ, इस बात में तू सच्चा नहीं है। क्योंकि परमेश्वर मनुष्य से बड़ा है।
13 Thou stryuest ayenus God, that not at alle wordis he answeride to thee.
१३तू उससे क्यों झगड़ता है? क्योंकि वह अपनी किसी बात का लेखा नहीं देता।
14 God spekith onys, and the secounde tyme he rehersith not the same thing.
१४क्योंकि परमेश्वर तो एक क्या वरन् दो बार बोलता है, परन्तु लोग उस पर चित्त नहीं लगाते।
15 God spekith bi a dreem in the visioun of nyyt, whanne sleep fallith on men, and thei slepen in the bed.
१५स्वप्न में, या रात को दिए हुए दर्शन में, जब मनुष्य घोर निद्रा में पड़े रहते हैं, या बिछौने पर सोते समय,
16 Thanne he openith the eeris of men, and he techith hem, `and techith prudence;
१६तब वह मनुष्यों के कान खोलता है, और उनकी शिक्षा पर मुहर लगाता है,
17 that he turne awei a man fro these thingis whiche he made, and delyuere hym fro pride; delyuerynge his soule fro corrupcioun,
१७जिससे वह मनुष्य को उसके संकल्प से रोके और गर्व को मनुष्य में से दूर करे।
18 and his lijf, that it go not in to swerd.
१८वह उसके प्राण को गड्ढे से बचाता है, और उसके जीवन को तलवार की मार से बचाता हे।
19 Also God blameth a synnere bi sorewe in the bed, and makith alle the boonys of hym `to fade.
१९“उसकी ताड़ना भी होती है, कि वह अपने बिछौने पर पड़ा-पड़ा तड़पता है, और उसकी हड्डी-हड्डी में लगातार झगड़ा होता है
20 Breed is maad abhomynable to hym in his lijf, and mete desirable `bifor to his soule.
२०यहाँ तक कि उसका प्राण रोटी से, और उसका मन स्वादिष्ट भोजन से घृणा करने लगता है।
21 His fleisch schal faile for rot, and hise boonys, that weren hilid, schulen be maad nakid.
२१उसका माँस ऐसा सूख जाता है कि दिखाई नहीं देता; और उसकी हड्डियाँ जो पहले दिखाई नहीं देती थीं निकल आती हैं।
22 His soule schal neiye to corrupcioun, and his lijf to thingis `bryngynge deeth.
२२तब वह कब्र के निकट पहुँचता है, और उसका जीवन नाश करनेवालों के वश में हो जाता है।
23 If an aungel, oon of a thousynde, is spekynge for hym, that he telle the equyte of man, God schal haue mercy on hym,
२३यदि उसके लिये कोई बिचवई स्वर्गदूत मिले, जो हजार में से एक ही हो, जो भावी कहे। और जो मनुष्य को बताए कि उसके लिये क्या ठीक है।
24 and schal seie, Delyuere thou hym, that he go not doun in to corrupcioun; Y haue founde in what thing Y schal do merci to hym.
२४तो वह उस पर अनुग्रह करके कहता है, ‘उसे गड्ढे में जाने से बचा ले, मुझे छुड़ौती मिली है।
25 His fleisch is wastid of turmentis; turne he ayen to the daies of his yonge wexynge age.
२५तब उस मनुष्य की देह बालक की देह से अधिक स्वस्थ और कोमल हो जाएगी; उसकी जवानी के दिन फिर लौट आएँगे।’
26 He schal biseche God, and he schal be quemeful to hym; and he schal se his face in hertly ioye, and he schal yelde to man his riytfulnesse.
२६वह परमेश्वर से विनती करेगा, और वह उससे प्रसन्न होगा, वह आनन्द से परमेश्वर का दर्शन करेगा, और परमेश्वर मनुष्य को ज्यों का त्यों धर्मी कर देगा।
27 He schal biholde men, and he schal seie, Y haue synned, and verili Y haue trespassid; and Y haue not resseyued, as Y was worthi.
२७वह मनुष्यों के सामने गाने और कहने लगता है, ‘मैंने पाप किया, और सच्चाई को उलट-पुलट कर दिया, परन्तु उसका बदला मुझे दिया नहीं गया।
28 For he delyueride his soule, that it schulde not go in to perischyng, but that he lyuynge schulde se liyt.
२८उसने मेरे प्राण कब्र में पड़ने से बचाया है, मेरा जीवन उजियाले को देखेगा।’
29 Lo! God worchith alle these thingis in thre tymes bi alle men;
२९“देख, ऐसे-ऐसे सब काम परमेश्वर मनुष्य के साथ दो बार क्या वरन् तीन बार भी करता है,
30 that he ayen clepe her soulis fro corrupcioun, and liytne in the liyt of lyuynge men.
३०जिससे उसको कब्र से बचाए, और वह जीवनलोक के उजियाले का प्रकाश पाए।
31 Thou, Joob, perseyue, and here me, and be thou stille, the while Y speke.
३१हे अय्यूब! कान लगाकर मेरी सुन; चुप रह, मैं और बोलूँगा।
32 Sotheli if thou hast what thou schalt speke, answere thou to me, speke thou; for Y wole, that thou appere iust.
३२यदि तुझे बात कहनी हो, तो मुझे उत्तर दे; बोल, क्योंकि मैं तुझे निर्दोष ठहराना चाहता हूँ।
33 That if thou hast not, here thou me; be thou stille, and Y schal teche thee wisdom.
३३यदि नहीं, तो तू मेरी सुन; चुप रह, मैं तुझे बुद्धि की बात सिखाऊँगा।”
