Job 30
1 But now yongere men in tyme scornen me, whos fadris Y deynede not to sette with the doggis of my flok.
“किंतु अब तो वे ही मेरा उपहास कर रहे हैं, जो मुझसे कम उम्र के हैं, ये वे ही हैं, जिनके पिताओं को मैंने इस योग्य भी न समझा था कि वे मेरी भेडों के रक्षक कुत्तों के साथ बैठें.
2 Of whiche men the vertu of hondis was for nouyt to me, and thei weren gessid vnworthi to that lijf.
वस्तुतः उनकी क्षमता तथा कौशल मेरे किसी काम का न था, शक्ति उनमें रह न गई थी.
3 Thei weren bareyn for nedynesse and hungur; that gnawiden in wildirnesse, and weren pale for pouert and wretchidnesse;
अकाल एवं गरीबी ने उन्हें कुरूप बना दिया है, रात्रि में वे रेगिस्तान के कूड़े में जाकर सूखी भूमि चाटते हैं.
4 and eeten eerbis, aud the ryndis of trees; and the roote of iunyperis was her mete.
वे झाड़ियों के मध्य से लोनिया साग एकत्र करते हैं, झाऊ वृक्ष के मूल उनका भोजन है.
5 Whiche men rauyschiden these thingis fro grete valeis; and whanne thei hadden foundun ony of alle, thei runnen with cry to tho.
वे समाज से बहिष्कृत कर दिए गए हैं, और लोग उन पर दुत्कार रहे थे, जैसे कि वे चोर थे.
6 Thei dwelliden in deseertis of strondis, and in caues of erthe, ethir on grauel, `ethir on cley.
परिणाम यह हुआ कि वे अब भयावह घाटियों में, भूमि के बिलों में तथा चट्टानों में निवास करने लगे हैं.
7 Whiche weren glad among siche thingis, and arettiden delices to be vndur buschis.
झाड़ियों के मध्य से वे पुकारते रहते हैं; वे तो कंटीली झाड़ियों के नीचे एकत्र हो गए हैं.
8 The sones of foolis and of vnnoble men, and outirli apperynge not in erthe.
वे मूर्ख एवं अपरिचित थे, जिन्हें कोड़े मार-मार कर देश से खदेड़ दिया गया था.
9 But now Y am turned in to the song of hem, and Y am maad a prouerbe to hem.
“अब मैं ऐसों के व्यंग्य का पात्र बन चुका हूं; मैं उनके सामने निंदा का पर्याय बन चुका हूं.
10 Thei holden me abhomynable, and fleen fer fro me, and dreden not to spete on my face.
उन्हें मुझसे ऐसी घृणा हो चुकी है, कि वे मुझसे दूर-दूर रहते हैं; वे मेरे मुख पर थूकने का कोई अवसर नहीं छोड़ते.
11 For God hath openyd his arowe caas, and hath turmentid me, and hath set a bridil in to my mouth.
ये दुःख के तीर मुझ पर परमेश्वर द्वारा ही छोड़े गए हैं, वे मेरे सामने पूर्णतः निरंकुश हो चुके हैं.
12 At the riytside of the eest my wretchidnessis risiden anoon; thei turneden vpsedoun my feet, and oppressiden with her pathis as with floodis.
मेरी दायीं ओर ऐसे लोगों की सन्तति विकसित हो रही है. जो मेरे पैरों के लिए जाल बिछाते है, वे मेरे विरुद्ध घेराबंदी ढलान का निर्माण करते हैं.
13 Thei destrieden my weies; thei settiden tresoun to me, and hadden the maistri; and `noon was that helpide.
वे मेरे निकलने के रास्ते बिगाड़ते; वे मेरे नाश का लाभ पाना चाहते हैं. उन्हें कोई भी नहीं रोकता.
14 Thei felden in on me as bi a brokun wal, and bi yate openyd, and weren stretchid forth to my wretchidnessis.
वे आते हैं तो ऐसा मालूम होता है मानो वे दीवार के सूराख से निकलकर आ रहे हैं; वे तूफान में से लुढ़कते हुए आते मालूम होते हैं.
15 Y am dryuun in to nouyt; he took awei my desir as wynd, and myn helpe passide awei as a cloude.
सारे भय तो मुझ पर ही आ पड़े हैं; मेरा समस्त सम्मान, संपूर्ण आत्मविश्वास मानो वायु में उड़ा जा रहा है. मेरी सुरक्षा मेघ के समान खो चुकी है.
16 But now my soule fadith in my silf, and daies of turment holden me stidfastly.
“अब मेरे प्राण मेरे अंदर में ही डूबे जा रहे हैं; पीड़ा के दिनों ने मुझे भयभीत कर रखा है.
17 In nyyt my boon is persid with sorewis; and thei, that eten me, slepen not.
रात्रि में मेरी हड्डियों में चुभन प्रारंभ हो जाती है; मेरी चुभती वेदना हरदम बनी रहती है.
18 In the multitude of tho my cloth is wastid, and thei han gird me as with coler of a coote.
बड़े ही बलपूर्वक मेरे वस्त्र को पकड़ा गया है तथा उसे मेरे गले के आस-पास कस दिया गया है.
19 Y am comparisound to cley, and Y am maad lijk to a deed sparcle and aisch.
परमेश्वर ने मुझे कीचड़ में डाल दिया है, मैं मात्र धूल एवं भस्म होकर रह गया हूं.
20 Y schal cry to thee, and thou schalt not here me; Y stonde, and thou biholdist not me.
“मैं आपको पुकारता रहता हूं, किंतु आप मेरी ओर ध्यान नहीं देते.
21 Thou art chaungid in to cruel to me, and in the hardnesse of thin hond thou art aduersarie to me.
आप मेरे प्रति क्रूर हो गए हैं; आप अपनी भुजा के बल से मुझ पर वार करते हैं.
22 Thou hast reisid me, and hast set as on wynd; and hast hurtlid me doun strongli.
जब आप मुझे उठाते हैं, तो इसलिये कि मैं वायु प्रवाह में उड़ जाऊं; तूफान में तो मैं विलीन हो जाता हूं;
23 Y woot, that thow schalt bitake me to deeth, where an hows is ordeyned to ech lyuynge man.
अब तो मुझे मालूम हो चुका है, कि आप मुझे मेरी मृत्यु की ओर ले जा रहे हैं, उस ओर, जहां अंत में समस्त जीवित प्राणी एकत्र होते जाते हैं.
24 Netheles thou sendist not out thin hond to the wastyng of hem; and if thei fallen doun, thou schalt saue.
“क्या वह जो, कूड़े के ढेर में जा पड़ा है, सहायता के लिए हाथ नहीं बढ़ाता अथवा क्या नाश की स्थिति में कोई सहायता के लिए नहीं पुकारता.
25 Y wepte sum tyme on him, that was turmentid, and my soule hadde compassioun on a pore man.
क्या संकट में पड़े व्यक्ति के लिए मैंने आंसू नहीं बहाया? क्या दरिद्र व्यक्ति के लिए मुझे वेदना न हुई थी?
26 Y abood goodis, and yuelis ben comun to me; Y abood liyt, and derknessis braken out.
जब मैंने कल्याण की प्रत्याशा की, मुझे अनिष्ट प्राप्त हुआ; मैंने प्रकाश की प्रतीक्षा की, तो अंधकार छा गया.
27 Myn ynnere thingis buyliden out with outen my reste; daies of turment camen bifor me.
मुझे विश्रान्ति नही है, क्योंकि मेरी अंतड़ियां उबल रही हैं; मेरे सामने इस समय विपत्ति के दिन आ गए हैं.
28 Y yede morenynge, and Y roos with out woodnesse in the cumpenye, and criede.
मैं तो अब सांत्वना रहित, विलाप कर रहा हूं; मैं सभा में खड़ा हुआ सहायता की याचना कर रहा हूं.
29 Y was the brother of dragouns, and the felow of ostrigis.
मैं तो अब गीदड़ों का भाई तथा शुतुरमुर्गों का मित्र बनकर रह गया हूं.
30 My skyn was maad blak on me, and my boonys drieden for heete.
मेरी खाल काली हो चुकी है; ज्वर में मेरी हड्डियां गर्म हो रही हैं.
31 Myn harpe is turned in to morenyng, and myn orgun in to the vois of weperis.
मेरा वाद्य अब करुण स्वर उत्पन्न कर रहा है, मेरी बांसुरी का स्वर भी ऐसा मालूम होता है, मानो कोई रो रहा है.
