Job 25

1 Forsothe Baldach Suytes answeride, and seide,

तब बिलदद सूखी ने जवाब दिया

2 Power and drede is anentis hym, that is, God, that makith acordyng in hise hiye thingis.

“हुकूमत और दबदबा उसके साथ है वह अपने बुलन्द मक़ामों में अमन रखता है।

3 Whether noumbre is of hise knyytis? and on whom schyneth not his liyt?

क्या उसकी फ़ौजों की कोई ता'दाद है? और कौन है जिस पर उसकी रोशनी नहीं पड़ती?

4 Whether a man comparisound to God mai be iustified, ether borun of a womman mai appere cleene?

फिर इंसान क्यूँकर ख़ुदा के सामने रास्त ठहर सकता है? या वह जो 'औरत से पैदा हुआ है क्यूँकर पाक हो सकता है?

5 Lo! also the moone schyneth not, and sterris ben not cleene in `his siyt;

देख, चाँद में भी रोशनी नहीं, और तारे उसकी नज़र में पाक नहीं।

6 hou miche more a man rot, and the sone of a man a worm, is vncleene `and vile, if he is comparisound to God.

फिर भला इंसान का जो महज़ कीड़ा है, और आदमज़ाद जो सिर्फ़ किरम है क्या ज़िक्र।”
