Job 21
1 Forsothe Joob answeride, and seide,
१नंतर ईयोबाने उत्तर दिले.
2 Y preye, here ye my wordis, and do ye penaunce.
२“मी काय म्हणतो ते निट ऐक म्हणजे माझे सांत्वन होईल.
3 Suffre ye me, that Y speke; and leiye ye aftir my wordis, if it schal seme worthi.
३मी बोलेन तेव्हा तू थोडा धीर धर, माझे बोलणे संपल्यावर तू माझी थट्टा करु शकतोस.
4 Whether my disputyng is ayens man, that skilfuli Y owe not to be sori?
४माझी लोकांविरुध्द तक्रार काय आहे? मी अधीर का होऊ नये?
5 Perseyue ye me, and be ye astonyed; and sette ye fyngur on youre mouth.
५माझ्याकडे बघ व आश्चर्यचकित हो, व तुझे हात तू आपल्या तोंडावर ठेव.
6 And whanne Y bithenke, Y drede, and tremblyng schakith my fleisch.
६माझ्यावर आलेल्या त्रांसाचा विचार करायला लागलो म्हणजे मला भीती वाटते आणि माझ्या शरीराचा थरकाप होतो.
7 Whi therfor lyuen wickid men? Thei ben enhaunsid, and coumfortid with richessis.
७दुष्ट मनुष्यांना जास्त आयुष्य का असते? ते वृध्द आणि यशस्वी का होतात?
8 Her seed dwellith bifor hem; the cumpeny of kynesmen, and of sones of sones dwellith in her siyt.
८आणि त्याचे वंशज त्याच्या डोळ्यासमोर स्थापीत होतात, आणि त्याच्या डोळ्यासमोर त्याची मुलेबाळे नांदतात.
9 Her housis ben sikur, and pesible; and the yerde of God is not on hem.
९त्यांची घरे भितीपासून सुरक्षित असतात, देवाची काठी त्याच्यांवर पडत नाही.
10 The cow of hem conseyuede, and caluede not a deed calf; the cow caluyde, and is not priued of hir calf.
१०त्यांच्या बैलाचे प्रजोत्पादन असफल होत नाही. त्यांच्या गायींना वासरे होतात आणि त्यांची वासरे अकाली मृत्युमुखी पडत नाहीत.
11 Her litle children goen out as flockis; and her yonge children `maken fulli ioye with pleies.
११ते आपल्या मुलांना वासराप्रमाणे बाहेर खेळायला पाठवतात. त्यांची मुले सभोवती नाचत असतात.
12 Thei holden tympan, and harpe; and ioien at the soun of orgun.
१२ते डफ आणि वीणेच्या आवाजावर गातात आणि ते पावांचा नाद ऐकुण आनंदी होतात.
१३ते त्यांचे दिवस भरभराटीत घालवतात, नंतर ते शांतपणे खाली अधोलोकात जातात. (Sheol h7585)
14 Whiche men seiden to God, Go thou awei fro us; we nylen the kunnyng of thi weies.
१४ते देवाला म्हणाले, आम्हास एकटे सोड आम्हास तुझ्या ज्ञानाच्या मार्गाची इच्छा नाही.
15 Who is Almiyti God, that we serue him? and what profitith it to vs, if we preien him?
१५सर्वशक्तिमान कोण आहे, की त्याची उपासना आम्ही करावी? त्याची प्रार्थना करून आम्हास काय लाभ?
16 Netheles for her goodis ben not in her hond, `that is, power, the counsel of wickid men be fer fro me.
१६पाहा, त्याची भरभराट त्याच्या स्वतःच्या हाती नाही? दुष्ट मनुष्याचा सल्ला माझ्यापासुन दूर असो.
17 Hou ofte schal the lanterne of wickid men be quenchid, and flowing schal come on hem, and God schal departe the sorewis of his stronge veniaunce?
१७वांरवार दुष्टाचा दिप विझवला जातो, त्याची विपत्ती त्यांच्यावर येते? आणि असे कीतीतरी वेळ घडते की, देव त्याच्या क्रोधाने त्यांची पीडा त्यांना वाटून देतो.
18 Thei schulen be as chaffis bifor the face of the wynd; and as a deed sparcle, whiche the whirlewynd scaterith abrood.
१८ते कितीदा वाऱ्यापुढे धसकटासारखे होतात, किंवा ते वादळाने उडालेल्या भूशासारखे होतात.
19 God schal kepe the sorewe of the fadir to hise sones; and whanne he hath yoldun, thanne he schal wite.
१९पण तू म्हणतोस देव वडिलांच्या पापाबद्दल मुलाला शिक्षा करतो. तर त्याने त्यालाच प्रतिफळ द्यावे म्हणजेच त्यास त्याचा दोष कळेल.
20 Hise iyen schulen se her sleyng; and he schal drynke of the stronge veniaunce of Almyyti God.
२०त्याच्या डोळ्यांनीच तो आपला नाश पाहो, तो सर्वशक्तिमान देवाच्या रागाचे प्राशन करो.
21 For whi what perteyneth it to hym of his hows aftir hym, thouy the noumbre of his monethis be half takun awey?
२१जेव्हा त्याच्या आयुष्याची मद्दत कमी करण्यास येईल, तेव्हा त्याच्या मरणानंतर तो त्याच्या परीवाराची काळजी कशी करील?
22 Whether ony man schal teche God kunnyng, which demeth hem that ben hiye?
२२देवाला कोणी ज्ञान शिकवू शकते का? तो तर उच्च पदावर असलेल्या लोकांचाही न्यायनिवाडा करतो.
23 This yuel man dieth strong and hool, riche and blesful, `that is, myrie.
२३एखादा मनुष्य त्याच्या पूर्ण शक्तीतच मरतो, पुर्णपणे शांतीत आणि सहजतेने.
24 Hise entrails ben ful of fatnesse; and hise boonys ben moistid with merowis.
२४त्याची भांडी दुधाने आणि त्याची हाडे मज्जारसाने ओलसर आहेत.
25 Sotheli anothir wickid man dieth in the bittirnesse of his soule, and with outen ony richessis.
२५दुसरा मनुष्य मनाच्या कटूपणात मरतो, त्याने कधीच चांगले अनुभवलेले नसते.
26 And netheles thei schulen slepe togidere in dust, and wormes schulen hile hem.
२६शेवटी हे दोघेही बरोबरच मातीत जातील. किडे त्यांना झाकून टाकतील.
27 Certis Y knowe youre wickid thouytis, and sentensis ayens me.
२७पाहा, मला तुमचे विचार माहीती आहेत, कोणत्या चुकांनी मला दु: ख द्यायची तुझी इच्छा आहे हे मला माहीत आहे.
28 For ye seien, Where is the hows of the prince? and where ben the tabernaclis of wickid men?
२८तू कदाचित् म्हणशील ‘आता राजाचे घर कोठे आहे? दुष्ट ज्या तंबूत राहतो तो कोठे आहे.
29 Axe ye ech of `the weie goeris; and ye schulen knowe, that he vndurstondith these same thingis,
२९तू कधीच प्रवास करणाऱ्या लोकांस विचारले नाहीस काय? ते काय चिन्ह देतील हे तुला ठावूक नाही काय,
30 that an yuel man schal be kept in to the dai of perdicioun, and schal be led to the dai of woodnesse.
३०दुष्ट मनुष्य नाशाच्या दिवसासाठी ठेवलेला आहे, आणि त्यास क्रोधाच्या दिवशी बाहेर आणतील.
31 Who schal repreue hise weies bifor hym? and who schal yelde to hym tho thingis, whiche he hath doon?
३१त्याच्या तोंडावर त्याचा मार्ग कोण प्रकट करील? त्याने जे केले त्याची परत फेड कोण करील?
32 He schal be led to the sepulcris; and he schal wake in the heep of deed men.
३२नंतर त्यास कबरेकडे नेतील, त्याच्या थडग्यावर पहारा ठेवतील.
33 He was swete to the `stoonys, ether filthis, of helle; and drawith ech man aftir hym, and vnnoumbrable men bifor him.
३३खोऱ्यातील ढेकळे त्यास गोड लागतील, सर्व लोक त्याच्या पाठीमागे जातील जसे असंख्य लोक होऊन गेले तसे ते सर्व त्याच्या मागे जातील
34 Hou therfor coumforten ye me in veyn, sithen youre answeris ben schewid to `repugne to treuthe?
३४मग तुमच्या मुर्खपणाने तुम्ही माझे सांत्वन कसे करु शकता, म्हणून तुमची उत्तरे काहीच नाही ती मुर्खपणाची आहेत.”
