Job 21
1 Forsothe Joob answeride, and seide,
೧ಆಗ ಯೋಬನು ಇಂತೆಂದನು,
2 Y preye, here ye my wordis, and do ye penaunce.
೨“ನನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಕೇಳಿರಿ. ನಿಮ್ಮಿಂದ ನನಗಾಗಬೇಕಾದ ಆದರಣೆಯು ಇಷ್ಟೇ.
3 Suffre ye me, that Y speke; and leiye ye aftir my wordis, if it schal seme worthi.
೩ತಾಳ್ಮೆಯಿಂದಿರಿ, ನಾನೂ ಮಾತನಾಡುವೆನು, ಆಮೇಲೆ ಹಾಸ್ಯಮಾಡಿದರೂ ಮಾಡಿರಿ.
4 Whether my disputyng is ayens man, that skilfuli Y owe not to be sori?
೪ನಾನೇನು ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಗುಣುಗುಟ್ಟುತ್ತಿರುವೆನೆ? ನಾನೇಕೆ ಬೇಸರಗೊಳ್ಳಬಾರದು?
5 Perseyue ye me, and be ye astonyed; and sette ye fyngur on youre mouth.
೫ನನ್ನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಗಮನಿಸಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಾಯಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೈಯಿಟ್ಟು ಬೆರಗಾಗಿ,
6 And whanne Y bithenke, Y drede, and tremblyng schakith my fleisch.
೬ಈ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ನೆನಪಿಗೆ ತಂದುಕೊಂಡ ಹಾಗೆಲ್ಲಾ, ನಡುಕವು ನನ್ನ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯುತ್ತದೆ.
7 Whi therfor lyuen wickid men? Thei ben enhaunsid, and coumfortid with richessis.
೭ದುಷ್ಟರು ಬಾಳಿ ವೃದ್ಧರಾಗುವುದಕ್ಕೂ, ಬಲಿಷ್ಠರಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಬಲಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಕಾರಣವೇನು?
8 Her seed dwellith bifor hem; the cumpeny of kynesmen, and of sones of sones dwellith in her siyt.
೮ಅವರ ಸಂತಾನದವರು ಅವರೊಂದಿಗಿರುತ್ತಾ ಅವರ ಮುಂದೆಯೇ ಸುಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿರುವರು, ಅವರ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಅವರ ಕಣ್ಣೆದುರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಚಲವಾಗಿ ನಿಲ್ಲುವರು.
9 Her housis ben sikur, and pesible; and the yerde of God is not on hem.
೯ಅವರ ಮನೆಗಳು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ಭಯದಿಂದ ಇರುವವು; ದೇವರ ದಂಡವು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳದು.
10 The cow of hem conseyuede, and caluede not a deed calf; the cow caluyde, and is not priued of hir calf.
೧೦ಅವರ ಗೂಳಿಯು ಬೇಸರಗೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಸಂತತಿಯನ್ನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿಸುತ್ತದೆ; ಅವರ ಹಸುವು ಕಂದುಹಾಕದೆ ಈಯುವುದು.
11 Her litle children goen out as flockis; and her yonge children `maken fulli ioye with pleies.
೧೧ತಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಮಂದೆಮಂದೆಯಾಗಿ ನಡೆಸುವರು, ಅವರ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಕುಣಿದಾಡುವರು.
12 Thei holden tympan, and harpe; and ioien at the soun of orgun.
೧೨ಅವರು ದಮ್ಮಡಿ ಕಿನ್ನರಿಗಳೊಡನೆ ಸ್ವರವೆತ್ತಿ, ಕೊಳಲಿನ ಧ್ವನಿಗೆ ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಪಡುವರು.
೧೩ಹೀಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ದಿನಗಳನ್ನು ಸುಖವಾಗಿ ಕಳೆದು, ಸಮಾಧಾನದಿಂದ ಸಮಾಧಿಗೆ ಸೇರುವರು. (Sheol h7585)
14 Whiche men seiden to God, Go thou awei fro us; we nylen the kunnyng of thi weies.
೧೪ಆದರೆ ಇವರೇ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು, ‘ನಮ್ಮಿಂದ ತೊಲಗಿ ಹೋಗು, ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳ ತಿಳಿವಳಿಕೆಯೇ ನಮಗೆ ಬೇಡ ಎಂದೂ
15 Who is Almiyti God, that we serue him? and what profitith it to vs, if we preien him?
೧೫ಆ ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರು ಎಷ್ಟರವನು, ಆತನನ್ನು ನಾವು ಏಕೆ ಸೇವಿಸಬೇಕು? ಆತನಿಗೆ ವಿಜ್ಞಾಪನೆ ಮಾಡುವುದರಿಂದ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವೇನು?’ ಎಂದೂ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
16 Netheles for her goodis ben not in her hond, `that is, power, the counsel of wickid men be fer fro me.
೧೬ಆಹಾ, ಅವರ ಸುಖವು ಅವರ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲಸಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ದುಷ್ಟರ ಆಲೋಚನೆಯು ನನಗೆ ದೂರವಾಗಿರಲಿ!
17 Hou ofte schal the lanterne of wickid men be quenchid, and flowing schal come on hem, and God schal departe the sorewis of his stronge veniaunce?
೧೭ದುಷ್ಟರ ದೀಪವು ಆರಿಹೋದದ್ದು ಎಷ್ಟು ಸಾರಿ? ಎಷ್ಟು ಸಾರಿ ಉಪದ್ರವವು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದೆ? ದೇವರು ಕೋಪಗೊಂಡು ಅವರ ಪಾಲಿಗೆ ಸಂಕಟಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟದ್ದು ಎಷ್ಟು ಸಾರಿ?
18 Thei schulen be as chaffis bifor the face of the wynd; and as a deed sparcle, whiche the whirlewynd scaterith abrood.
೧೮ಅವರು ಗಾಳಿಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಬಿದ್ದ ಹುಲ್ಲಿನಂತೆ ಆದದ್ದು ಎಷ್ಟು ಸಾರಿ? ಎಷ್ಟು ಸಾರಿ ಬಿರುಗಾಳಿಯು ಕೊಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವ ಹೊಟ್ಟಿನಂತಿದ್ದರು?
19 God schal kepe the sorewe of the fadir to hise sones; and whanne he hath yoldun, thanne he schal wite.
೧೯‘ದೇವರು ದುಷ್ಟನ ಪಾಪ ಫಲವನ್ನು ಅವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ’ ಎನ್ನುತ್ತೀರೋ, ಆ ಫಲವನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ದೇವರು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟುಬಿಡಲಿ.
20 Hise iyen schulen se her sleyng; and he schal drynke of the stronge veniaunce of Almyyti God.
೨೦ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ನಾಶವನ್ನು ಕಣ್ಣಾರೆ ಕಾಣಲಿ, ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರ ರೌದ್ರರಸವನ್ನು ಪಾನಮಾಡಲಿ.
21 For whi what perteyneth it to hym of his hows aftir hym, thouy the noumbre of his monethis be half takun awey?
೨೧ಅವನಿಗೆ ನೇಮಕವಾದ ದಿನಗಳು ಮುಗಿದುಹೋದ ಮೇಲೆ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸುವ ಸಂತತಿಯವರ ಚಿಂತೆ ಏನು?
22 Whether ony man schal teche God kunnyng, which demeth hem that ben hiye?
೨೨ಮೇಲಣ ಲೋಕದವರಿಗೂ, ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸುವ ದೇವರಿಗೂ ಜ್ಞಾನಬೋಧನೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಬಹುದೇ?
23 This yuel man dieth strong and hool, riche and blesful, `that is, myrie.
೨೩ಒಬ್ಬನು ಸಮೃದ್ಧನಾಗಿ, ತುಂಬಾ ಸುಖದಿಂದಲೂ, ನೆಮ್ಮದಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ಇರುವಾಗ ಸಾಯುವನು.
24 Hise entrails ben ful of fatnesse; and hise boonys ben moistid with merowis.
೨೪ಅವನ ತೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಲು ತುಂಬಿರುವುದು, ಅವನ ಎಲಬುಗಳು ಮಜ್ಜೆಯಿಂದ ಸಾರವಾಗಿರುವುದು.
25 Sotheli anothir wickid man dieth in the bittirnesse of his soule, and with outen ony richessis.
೨೫ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪವೂ ಸುಖಾನುಭವವಿಲ್ಲದೆ, ಮನೋವ್ಯಥೆಪಡುತ್ತಾ ಸಾಯುವನು.
26 And netheles thei schulen slepe togidere in dust, and wormes schulen hile hem.
೨೬ಇಬ್ಬರೂ ಧೂಳಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಲಗುವರು, ಹುಳುಗಳು ಅವರನ್ನು ಮುತ್ತಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವು.
27 Certis Y knowe youre wickid thouytis, and sentensis ayens me.
೨೭ಆಹಾ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಯೋಚನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಬಲ್ಲೆ, ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುವ ಕುಯುಕ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
28 For ye seien, Where is the hows of the prince? and where ben the tabernaclis of wickid men?
೨೮‘ಪ್ರಧಾನನ ಮನೆ ಏನಾಯಿತು? ದುಷ್ಟರು ವಾಸಿಸಿದ ಗುಡಾರವೆಲ್ಲಿ?’ ಎನ್ನುತ್ತೀರಷ್ಟೆ.
29 Axe ye ech of `the weie goeris; and ye schulen knowe, that he vndurstondith these same thingis,
೨೯ನೀವು ಮಾರ್ಗಸ್ಥರನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ? ಅವರು ಕೊಟ್ಟ ದೃಷ್ಟಾಂತಗಳಿಂದ,
30 that an yuel man schal be kept in to the dai of perdicioun, and schal be led to the dai of woodnesse.
೩೦ಆಪತ್ತಿನ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ದುಷ್ಟನು ಉಳಿದು, ಕೋಪವು ತುಂಬಿ ತುಳುಕುವ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವನು ಎಂಬುದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ?
31 Who schal repreue hise weies bifor hym? and who schal yelde to hym tho thingis, whiche he hath doon?
೩೧ನೀನು ದುರ್ಮಾರ್ಗಿ ಎಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಮುಖಾಮುಖಿಯಾಗಿ ಯಾರು ತಾನೇ ಹೇಳುವರು? ಅವನಿಗೆ ಮುಯ್ಯಿಗೆ ಮುಯ್ಯಿ ತೀರಿಸುವವರು ಯಾರು?
32 He schal be led to the sepulcris; and he schal wake in the heep of deed men.
೩೨ಅವನನ್ನು ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆಯಿಂದ ಸಮಾಧಿಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವರು; ಅವನ ಗೋರಿಗೆ ಕಾವಲಿಡುವರು.
33 He was swete to the `stoonys, ether filthis, of helle; and drawith ech man aftir hym, and vnnoumbrable men bifor him.
೩೩ಆ ಕಣಿವೆಯ ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಹೆಂಟೆಗಳು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿತವಾಗಿರುವವು. ಅವನಿಗಿಂತ ಹಿಂದೆ ಲೆಕ್ಕವಿಲ್ಲದಷ್ಟು ಜನರು ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಇದ್ದರು, ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ಸಮಸ್ತರೂ ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಅವನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸುವರು.
34 Hou therfor coumforten ye me in veyn, sithen youre answeris ben schewid to `repugne to treuthe?
೩೪ನೀವು ನನಗೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಆದರಣೆಯು ಎಷ್ಟು ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾಗಿದೆ! ನಿಮ್ಮ ಉತ್ತರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿದಿರುವುದು ಮಿತ್ರ ದ್ರೋಹವೇ.”
