< Jeremiah 30 >
1 This is the word, that was maad of the Lord to Jeremye,
[the] word which to be to(wards) Jeremiah from with LORD to/for to say
2 and seide, The Lord God of Israel seith these thingis, and spekith, Write to thee in a book, alle these wordis whiche Y spak to thee.
thus to say LORD God Israel to/for to say to write to/for you [obj] all [the] word which to speak: speak to(wards) you to(wards) scroll: book
3 For lo! daies comen, seith the Lord, and Y schal turne the turnyng of my puple Israel and Juda, seith the Lord; and Y schal turne hem to the lond which Y yaf to the fadris of hem, and thei schulen haue it in possessioun.
for behold day to come (in): come utterance LORD and to return: rescue [obj] captivity people my Israel and Judah to say LORD and to return: return them to(wards) [the] land: country/planet which to give: give to/for father their and to possess: take her
4 And these ben the wordis, whiche the Lord spak to Israel, and to Juda,
and these [the] word which to speak: speak LORD to(wards) Israel and to(wards) Judah
5 For the Lord seith these thingis, We herden a word of drede; inward drede is, and pees is not.
for thus to say LORD voice trembling to hear: hear dread and nothing peace
6 Axe ye, and se, if a male berith child; whi therfor siy Y the hond of ech man on his leende, as of a womman trauelynge of child, and alle faces ben turned in to yelow colour?
to ask please and to see: see if: surely yes to beget male why? to see: see all great man hand his upon loin his like/as to beget and to overturn all face to/for mildew
7 Wo! for thilke day is greet, nether ony is lyk it; and it is a tyme of tribulacioun to Jacob, and of hym schal be sauyd.
woe! for great: large [the] day [the] he/she/it from nothing like him and time distress he/she/it to/for Jacob and from her to save
8 And it schal be, in that dai, seith the Lord of oostis, Y schal al to-breke the yok of hym fro thi necke, and Y schal breke hise boondis; and aliens schulen no more be lordis of it,
and to be in/on/with day [the] he/she/it utterance LORD Hosts to break yoke his from upon neck your and bond your to tear and not to serve in/on/with him still be a stranger
9 but thei schulen serue to her Lord God, and to Dauid, her kyng, whom Y schal reyse for hem.
and to serve: minister [obj] LORD God their and [obj] David king their which to arise: establish to/for them
10 Therfor, Jacob, my seruaunt, drede thou not, seith the Lord, and Israel, drede thou not; for lo! Y schal saue thee fro a fer lond, and thi seed fro the lond of the caitiftee of hem. And Jacob schal turne ayen, and schal reste, and schal flowe with alle goodis; and noon schal be whom he schal drede.
and you(m. s.) not to fear servant/slave my Jacob utterance LORD and not to to be dismayed Israel for look! I to save you from distant and [obj] seed: children your from land: country/planet captivity their and to return: return Jacob and to quiet and to rest and nothing to tremble
11 For Y am with thee, seith the Lord, for to saue thee. For Y schal make endyng in alle folkis, in whiche Y scateride thee; sotheli Y schal not make thee in to endyng, but Y schal chastise thee in doom, that thou be not seyn to thee to be gilteles.
for with you I utterance LORD to/for to save you for to make consumption in/on/with all [the] nation which to scatter you there surely [obj] you not to make consumption and to discipline you to/for justice and to clear not to clear you
12 For the Lord seith these thingis, Thi brekyng is vncurable, thi wounde is the worste.
for thus to say LORD be incurable to/for breaking your be weak: grieved wound your
13 Noon is, that demeth thi doom to bynde togidere; the profit of heelyngis is not to thee.
nothing to judge judgment your to/for wound remedy healing nothing to/for you
14 Alle thi louyeris han foryete thee, thei schulen not seke thee; for Y haue smyte thee with the wounde of an enemy, with cruel chastisyng; for the multitude of thi wickidnesse, thi synnes ben maad hard.
all to love: lover you to forget you [obj] you not to seek for wound enemy to smite you discipline cruel upon abundance iniquity: guilt your be vast sin your
15 What criest thou on thi brekynge? thi sorewe is vncurable; for the multitude of thi wickidnesse, and for thin hard synnes, Y haue do these thingis to thee.
what? to cry out upon breaking your be incurable pain your upon abundance iniquity: guilt your be vast sin your to make: do these to/for you
16 Therfor alle that eeten thee, schulen be deuourid, and alle thin enemyes schulen be led in to caitifte; and thei that distrien thee, schulen be distried, and Y schal yyue alle thi robberis in to raueyn.
to/for so all to eat you to eat and all enemy your all their in/on/with captivity to go: went and to be to plunder you to/for plunder and all to plunder you to give: make to/for plunder
17 For Y schal heele perfitli thi wounde, and Y schal make thee hool of thi woundis, seith the Lord; for thou, Sion, thei clepeden thee cast out; this is it that hadde no sekere.
for to ascend: establish health to/for you and from wound your to heal you utterance LORD for to banish to call: call by to/for you Zion he/she/it to seek nothing to/for her
18 The Lord seith these thingis, Lo! Y schal turne the turnyng of the tabernaclis of Jacob, and Y schal haue merci on the housis of hym; and the citee schal be bildid in his hiynesse, and the temple schal be foundid bi his ordre.
thus to say LORD look! I to return: rescue captivity tent Jacob and tabernacle his to have compassion and to build city upon mound her and citadel: palace upon justice: rule his to dwell
19 And heriyng and the vois of pleiers schal go out of hem, and Y schal multiplie hem, and thei schulen not be decreessid; and Y schal glorifie hem, and thei schulen not be maad thynne.
and to come out: come from them thanksgiving and voice to laugh and to multiply them and not to diminish and to honor: honour them and not be little
20 And the sones therof schulen be as at the bigynnyng, and the cumpeny therof schal dwelle bifore me; and Y schal visite ayens alle that doon tribulacioun to it.
and to be son: child his like/as front: old and congregation his to/for face: before my to establish: establish and to reckon: punish upon all to oppress him
21 And the duyk therof schal be of it, and a prince schal be brouyt forth of the myddis therof; and Y schal applie hym, and he schal neiye to me; for who is this, that schal applie his herte, that he neiye to me? seith the Lord.
and to be great his from him and to rule him from entrails: among his to come out: come and to present: come him and to approach: approach to(wards) me for who? he/she/it this to pledge [obj] heart his to/for to approach: approach to(wards) me utterance LORD
22 And ye schulen be in to a puple to me, and Y schal be in to God to you.
and to be to/for me to/for people and I to be to/for you to/for God
23 Lo! the whirlewynd of the Lord, a strong veniaunce goynge out, a tempest fallynge doun, schal reste in the heed of wickid men.
behold tempest LORD rage to come out: come tempest to drag/chew/saw upon head wicked to twist: dance
24 The Lord schal not turne awey the ire of indignacioun, til he do, and fille the thouyt of his herte; in the laste of daies ye schulen vndurstonde tho thingis.
not to return: turn back burning anger face: anger LORD till to make: do he and till to arise: establish he plot heart his in/on/with end [the] day to understand in/on/with her
