Jeremiah 3
1 It is seid comunli, If a man forsakith his wijf, and sche go awei fro hym, and be weddid to an othere hosebonde, whether he schal turne ayen more to hir? whether thilke womman schal not be defoulid, and maad vncleene? Forsothe thou hast do fornycacioun with many loueris; netheles turne thou ayen to me, `seith the Lord, and Y schal resseyue thee.
“Kung makigbulag ang lalaki sa iyang asawa ug mobiya ang babaye gikan kaniya ug mahimong asawa sa laing lalaki, mobalik pa ba ang lalaki kaniya? Dili ba mahugaw pag-ayo kana nga yuta? Nagkinabuhi ka ingon nga usa ka nagabaligya ug dungog nga adunay daghang hinigugma; ug mobalik ka kanako? —mao kini ang pahayag ni Yahweh.
2 Reise thin iyen in to streiyt, and se, where thou art not cast doun. Thou hast setun in weies, abidynge hem as a theef in wildirnesse, and thou hast defoulid the erthe in thi fornicaciouns and in thi malices.
Hangad ngadto sa tag-as nga dapit nga walay tanom ug tan-awa! Aduna bay laing dapit nga wala ka nagbuhat ug malaw-ay nga pakighilawas? Naglingkod ka daplin sa dalan nga naghulat sa imong mga hinigugma, ingon nga Arabo didto sa kamingawan. Gihugawan nimo ang yuta pinaagi sa pagbaligya ug dungog ug pagkadaotan.
3 Wherfor the dropis of reynes weren forbodun, and no late reyn was. The forhed of a womman hoore is maad to thee; thou noldist be aschamed.
Busa gipugngan ang ulan sa panahon sa tingpamulak ug wala miabot ang ulan sa kataposan. Apan mapasigarbohon ang imong panagway, sama sa dagway sa bigaon nga babaye. Nagdumili ka sa pagbati ug kaulaw.
4 Nameli fro this tyme forth clepe thou me, Thou art my fadir, the ledere of my virginyte.
Dili ba nagtawag ka man kanako karon: 'Amahan ko! Labing suod ko nga higala bisan pa sa akong pagkabatan-on!
5 Whether thou schalt be wrooth with outen ende, ether schalt contynue in to the ende? Lo! thou hast spoke, and hast do yuels, and thou were myyti. And for wordis of penaunce thou blasfemydist bi wordis of pride; and thou fillidist thin yuel thouyt, and schewidist thi strengthe ayens thi hosebonde, that thou maist do that thing that thou tretidist bi word.
Masuko pa ba siya kanunay? Tipigan ba niya ang iyang kasuko hangtod sa kataposan?' Tan-awa! Mao kini ang imong giingon, apan gibuhat nimo ang tanang daotan nga imong mahimo!”
6 And the Lord seide to me, in the daies of Josie, the kyng, Whether thou hast seyn what thing the aduersarie, Israel, hath do? Sche yede to hir silf on ech hiy hil, and vndur ech tre ful of boowis, and dide fornycacioun there.
Unya miingon si Yahweh kanako sa mga adlaw ni Josia nga hari, “Nakita ba nimo kung unsa ang gibuhat sa Israel nga walay pagtuo? Mitungas siya sa matag bungtod ug ngadto sa ilalom sa matag lunhaw nga kahoy, ug didto nagbuhat siya nga sama sa nagbaligya ug dungog.
7 And Y seide, whanne sche hadde do alle these thingis, Turne thou ayen to me; and sche turnede not ayen. And hir sistir, Juda, brekere of the lawe,
Miingon ako, 'Human niya buhata kining mga butanga, mobalik siya kanako,' apan wala siya mibalik. Unya nakita sa iyang walay pagtuo nga igsoong babaye nga mao ang Juda kining mga butanga.
8 siy, that for the aduersarie, Israel, dide auowtrie, Y hadde left hir, and Y hadde youe to hir a libel of forsakyng; and Juda, hir sistir, brekere of the lawe, dredde not, but also sche yede, and dide fornycacioun.
Busa nakita ko kana, sa samang paagi nga nakabuhat ug pagpanapaw ang walay pagtuo nga Israel ug gipahawa ko siya ug naghatag ug sulat sa pagpakigbulag batok kaniya, wala nahadlok ang walay pagtuo niya nga igsoong babaye nga mao ang Juda; migawas usab siya ug nagbuhat nga sama sa nagbaligya ug dungog.
9 And bi liytnesse of hir fornicacioun sche defoulide the erthe, and dide auowtrie with a stoon, and with a tree.
Wala lamang kaniya ang iyang pagbaligya ug dungog; gihugawan niya ang yuta, ug nanapaw siya pinaagi sa mga bato ug mga kahoy.
10 And in alle these thingis hir sistir, Juda, brekere of the lawe, turnede not ayen to me, in al hir herte, but in a leesyng, seith the Lord God.
Unya human niining tanan, mibalik kanako ang walay pagtuo nga Juda nga iyang igsoong babaye, dili uban sa bug-os niyang kasingkasing, apan inubanan sa bakak—mao kini ang pahayag ni Yahweh.”
11 And the Lord seide to me, The aduersarie, Israel, hath iustified hir soule, in comparisoun of Juda, brekere of the lawe.
Unya miingon si Yahweh kanako, 'Nahimong mas matarong ang walay pagtuo nga Israel kaysa walay pagtuo nga Juda!
12 Go thou, and crye these wordis ayens the north; and thou schalt seie, Thou aduersarie, Israel, turne ayen, seith the Lord, and Y schal not turne awei my face fro you; for Y am hooli, seith the Lord, and Y schal not be wrooth with outen ende.
Lakaw ug imantala kini nga mga pulong didto sa amihanan. Pag-ingon, 'Balik, walay pagtuo nga Israel! —mao kini ang pahayag ni Yahweh—dili na gayod ako masuko kaninyo sa kanunay. Sanglit matinud-anon man ako—mao kini ang pahayag ni Yahweh—dili ako magpabiling masuko hangtod sa kahangtoran.
13 Netheles knowe thou thi wickidnesse; for thou hast trespassid ayens thi Lord God, and thou hast spred abrood thi weies to aliens vndur ech tre ful of bowis; and thou herdist not my vois, seith the Lord.
Ilha ang imong pagkadaotan, kay nakasala ka batok kang Yahweh nga imong Dios; gipaambit nimo ang imong mga binuhatan ngadto sa mga dumoduong ilalom sa matag lunhaw nga kahoy! Kay wala ka naminaw sa akong tingog! —mao kini ang pahayag ni Yahweh.
14 Be ye conuertid, sones, turnynge ayen, seith the Lord, for Y am youre hosebonde; and Y schal take you oon of a citee, and tweyne of a kynrede, and Y schal lede you in to Sion;
Balik, katawhan nga walay pagtuo! —mao kini ang pahayag ni Yahweh—ako ang imong bana! Dad-on ko ikaw, usa gikan sa imong siyudad ug duha gikan sa pamilya, ug dad-on ko kamo sa Zion!
15 and Y schal yyue to you scheepherdis after myn herte, and thei schulen feede you with kunnyng and teching.
Hatagan ko kamo ug mga magbalantay nga sunod sa akong kasingkasing, ug bantayan nila kamo inubanan sa kahibalo ug panglantaw.
16 And whanne ye schulen be multiplied, and encreesse in the lond, in tho daies, seith the Lord, thei schulen no more seie, The arke of testament of the Lord; nether it schal stie on the herte, nether thei schulen thenke on it, nether it schal be visitid, nether it schal be ferthere.
Unya mahitabo kini nga motubo ka ug mamunga didto sa maong yuta niadtong mga adlawa—mao kini ang pahayag ni Yahweh—dili na sila moingon, “Ang sudlanan sa kasabotan ni Yahweh!” Kining butanga dili na moabot sa ilang mga kasingkasing o mahinumdoman; dili na kini malimtan, ug dili na magbuhat ug lain.'
17 In that tyme thei schulen clepe Jerusalem The seete of the Lord, and alle hethene men schulen be gaderid togidere to it, in the name of the Lord, in Jerusalem; and thei schulen not go aftir the schrewidnesse of her worste herte.
Nianang panahona magmantala sila mahitungod sa Jerusalem, 'Mao kini ang trono ni Yahweh,' ug magtigom ang ubang kanasoran didto sa Jerusalem sa ngalan ni Yahweh. Dili na sila maglakaw pa diha sa pagkamasinupakon sa ilang daotan nga mga kasingkasing.
18 In tho daies the hous of Juda schal go to the hous of Israel; and thei schulen come togidere fro the lond of the north to the lond which Y yaf to youre fadris.
Niadtong mga adlawa, maglakaw ang panimalay sa Juda uban sa panimalay sa Israel. Moabot sila gikan sa yuta sa amihanan ngadto sa yuta nga gihatag nako sa inyong mga katigulangan ingon nga panulondon.
19 Forsothe Y seide, Hou schal Y sette thee among sones, and schal yyue to thee a desirable lond, a ful cleer eritage of the oostis of hethene men? And Y seide, Thou schalt clepe me fadir, and thou schalt not ceesse to entre aftir me.
Alang kanako, moingon ako, “Buot ko gayod nga pasidunggan ka ingon nga akong anak nga lalaki ug hatagan ka ug maayong yuta, usa ka panulondon nga mas nindot pa kaysa anaa sa ubang mga nasod!' Moingon ako, 'Tawgon mo ako nga “akong amahan”.' Moingon ako nga dili ka motalikod gikan sa pagsunod kanako.
20 But as if a womman dispisith hir louyere, so the hous of Israel dispiside me, seith the Lord.
Apan sama sa babaye nga walay pagtuo sa iyang bana, giluiban mo ako, balay sa Israel—mao kini ang pahayag ni Yahweh.”
21 A vois is herd in weies, the weping and yellyng of the sones of Israel; for thei maden wickid her weie, thei foryaten her Lord God.
Adunay tingog nga nadungog didto sa kapatagan, ang paghilak ug pagpangamuyo sa katawhan sa Israel! Kay giusab nila ang ilang mga paagi; gikalimtan nila si Yahweh nga ilang Dios.
22 Be ye conuertid, sones, turnynge ayen, and Y schal heele youre turnyngis awei. Lo! we comen to thee; for thou art oure Lord God.
“Balik, katawhan nga walay pagtuo! Ayohon ko kamo gikan sa pagluib!” “Tan-awa! Moanha kami kanimo, kay ikaw si Yahweh nga among Dios!
23 Verili litil hillis weren lieris, the multitude of mounteyns was fals; verili in oure Lord God is the helthe of Israel.
Sa pagkatinuod naggikan sa kabungtoran ang mga bakak, ug ang makalibog nga kasaba naggikan sa kabukiran; tinuod gayod nga si Yahweh nga atong Dios ang kaluwasan sa Israel.
24 Schenschipe eete the trauel of oure fadris, fro oure yongthe; schenschipe eet the flockis of hem, and the droues of hem, the sones of hem, and the douytris of hem.
Apan ang makauulaw nga mga diosdios maoy nagkuha sa gibuhat sa atong mga katigulangan—ang ilang mga karnero ug mga baka, ang ilang mga anak nga lalaki ug babaye!
25 We schulen slepe in oure schenschipe, and oure sclaundir schal hile vs; for we synneden to oure Lord God, bothe we and oure fadris, fro oure yongthe `til to this dai; and we herden not the vois of oure Lord God.
Manghigda kita sa kaulaw. Hinaot nga tabonan kita sa atong kaulaw, kay nakasala kita batok kang Yahweh nga atong Dios! Kita ug ang atong mga katigulangan, gikan sa panahon sa atong pagkabatan-on hangtod karong adlawa, wala naminaw sa tingog ni Yahweh nga atong Dios!”
