Jeremiah 28
1 And it was don in that yeer, in the bigynnyng of the rewme of Sedechie, kyng of Juda, in the fourthe yeer, in the fyuethe monethe, Ananye, the sone of Azur, a profete of Gabaon, seide to me in the hous of the Lord, bifor the preestis, and al the puple,
Il arriva aussi en cette même année, au commencement du règne de Sédécias Roi de Juda, [savoir] en la quatrième année, au cinquième mois, que Hanania fils de Hazur Prophète, qui était de Gabaon, me parla dans la maison de l'Eternel, en la présence des Sacrificateurs et de tout le peuple, en disant:
2 `and seide, The Lord of oostis, God of Israel, seith these thingis, Y haue al to-broke the yok of the kyng of Babiloyne.
Ainsi a dit l'Eternel des armées, le Dieu d'Israël: j'ai rompu le joug du Roi de Babylone.
3 Yit twei yeeris of daies ben, and Y schal make to be brouyt ayen to this place alle the vessels of the Lord, whiche Nabugodonosor, kyng of Babiloyne, took fro this place, and translatide tho in to Babiloyne.
Dans deux ans accomplis je ferai rapporter en ce lieu-ci tous les vaisseaux de la maison de l'Eternel, que Nébucadnetsar Roi de Babylone a emportés de ce lieu, et transportés à Babylone.
4 And Y schal turne to this place, seith the Lord, Jeconye, the sone of Joachym, the kyng of Juda, and al the passyng ouer of Juda, that entriden in to Babiloyne; for Y schal al to-breke the yok of the kyng of Babiloyne.
Et je ferai revenir en ce lieu-ci, dit l'Eternel, Jéchonias fils de Jéhojakim Roi de Juda, et tous ceux qui ont été transportés de Juda en Babylone; car je romprai le joug du Roi de Babylone.
5 And Jeremye, the profete, seide to Ananye, the profete, bifore the iyen of preestis, and bifore the iyen of al the puple that stoden in the hous of the Lord.
Alors Jérémie le Prophète parla à Hanania le Prophète, en la présence des Sacrificateurs, et en la présence de tout le peuple qui assistaient dans la maison de l'Eternel.
6 And Jeremye, the profete, seide to Ananye, Amen! so do the Lord; the Lord reise thi wordis whiche thou profesiedist, that the vessels be brouyt ayen in to the hous of the Lord, and al the passyng ouer fro Babiloyne, to this place.
Et Jérémie le Prophète dit: ainsi soit-il; qu'ainsi fasse l'Eternel; que l'Eternel mette en effet tes paroles que tu as prophétisées, afin qu'il fasse revenir de Babylone en ce lieu-ci les vaisseaux de la maison de l'Eternel, et tous ceux qui ont été transportés à Babylone.
7 Netheles here thou this word, which Y speke in thin eeris, and in the eeris of al the puple.
Toutefois écoute maintenant cette parole que je prononce, toi et tout le peuple l'entendant.
8 Profetis that weren bifore me, and bifor thee, fro the bigynnyng, and profesieden on many londis, and on many rewmes, of batel, and of turment, and of hungur.
Les Prophètes qui ont été avant moi et avant toi dès longtemps, ont prophétisé contre plusieurs pays, et contre de grands Royaumes, la guerre, et l'affliction, et la mortalité.
9 The profete that profesiede pees, whanne his word cometh, shal be knowun the profete whom the Lord sente in treuthe.
Le Prophète qui aura prophétisé la paix, quand la parole de ce Prophète sera accomplie, ce Prophète-là sera reconnu pour avoir été véritablement envoyé par l'Eternel.
10 And Ananye, the profete, took the chayne fro the necke of Jeremye, the profete, and brak it.
Alors Hanania le Prophète prit le joug de dessus le cou de Jérémie le Prophète, et le rompit.
11 And Ananye, the profete, seide in the siyt of al the puple, `and seide, The Lord seith these thingis, So Y schal breke the yok of Nabugodonosor, kyng of Babiloyne, aftir twei yeeris of daies, fro the necke of alle folkis.
Puis Hanania parla en la présence de tout le peuple, en disant: ainsi a dit l'Eternel: entre ci et deux ans accomplis, je romprai ainsi le joug de Nébucadnetsar Roi de Babylone de dessus le cou de toutes les nations. Et Jérémie le Prophète s'en alla son chemin.
12 And Jeremye, the profete, yede in to his weie. And the word of the Lord was maad to Jeremye, aftir that Ananye, the profete, brak the chayne fro the necke of Jeremye; and the Lord seide,
Mais la parole de l'Eternel fut adressée à Jérémie, après que Hanania le Prophète eut rompu le joug de dessus le cou de Jérémie le Prophète, en disant:
13 Go thou, and seie to Ananye, The Lord seith these thingis, Thou hast al to-broke the chaynes of tre, and thou schalt make yrun chaynes for tho.
Va, et parle à Hanania, en disant: ainsi a dit l'Eternel: tu as rompu les jougs qui étaient de bois, mais au lieu de ceux-là, fais-en qui soient de fer.
14 For the Lord of oostis, God of Israel, seith these thingis, Y haue set an yrun yok on the necke of alle these folkis, that thei serue Nabugodonosor, the king of Babiloyne, and thei schulen serue hym; ferthermore and Y yaf to hym the beestis of erthe.
Car ainsi a dit l'Eternel des armées, le Dieu d'Israël: j'ai mis un joug de fer sur le cou de toutes ces nations, afin qu'elles soient asservies à Nébucadnetsar Roi de Babylone, car elles lui seront asservies, et je lui ai aussi donné les bêtes des champs.
15 And Jeremye, the profete, seide to Ananye, the profete, Ananye, here thou; the Lord sente not thee, and thou madist this puple for to triste in a leesyng.
Puis Jérémie le Prophète dit à Hanania le prophète: écoute maintenant, ô Hanania! l'Eternel ne t'a point envoyé, mais tu as fait que ce peuple s'est confié au mensonge.
16 Therfor the Lord seith these thingis, Lo! Y schal sende thee out fro the face of erthe; in this yeer thou schalt die, for thou spakest ayens the Lord.
C'est pourquoi ainsi a dit l'Eternel, voici, je te chasserai de dessus la terre, [et] tu mourras cette année; car tu as parlé de révolte contre l'Eternel.
17 And Ananye, the profete, diede in that yeer, in the seuenthe monethe.
Et Hanania le prophète mourut cette année-là au septième mois.
