< Jeremiah 27 >
1 In the bigynnyng of the rewme of Joachym, the sone of Josie, kyng of Juda, this word was maad of the Lord to Jeremye, and seide,
in/on/with first: beginning kingdom Jehoiakim son: child Josiah king Judah to be [the] word [the] this to(wards) Jeremiah from with LORD to/for to say
2 The Lord seith these thingis to me, Make thou to thee boondis and chaynes, and thou schalt putte tho in thi necke;
thus to say LORD to(wards) me to make to/for you bond and yoke and to give: put them upon neck your
3 and thou schalt sende tho to the kyng of Edom, and to the kyng of Moab, and to the kyng of the sones of Amon, and to the kyng of Tyre, and to the kyng of Sidon, bi the hond of messangeris that camen to Jerusalem, and to Sedechie, kyng of Juda.
and to send: depart them to(wards) king Edom and to(wards) king Moab and to(wards) king son: child Ammon and to(wards) king Tyre and to(wards) king Sidon in/on/with hand messenger [the] to come (in): come Jerusalem to(wards) Zedekiah king Judah
4 And thou schalt comaunde to hem, that thei speke to her lordis, The Lord of oostis, God of Israel, seith these thingis, Ye schulen seie these thingis to youre lordis,
and to command [obj] them to(wards) lord their to/for to say thus to say LORD Hosts God Israel thus to say to(wards) lord your
5 Y made erthe, and man, and beestis that ben on the face of al erthe, in my greet strengthe, and in myn arm holdun forth; and Y yaf it to hym that plesyde bifore myn iyen.
I to make [obj] [the] land: country/planet [obj] [the] man and [obj] [the] animal which upon face: surface [the] land: country/planet in/on/with strength my [the] great: large and in/on/with arm my [the] to stretch and to give: give her to/for which to smooth in/on/with eye: appearance my
6 And now therfor Y yaf alle these londis in the hond of Nabugodonosor, my seruaunt, the kyng of Babiloyne; ferthermore and Y yaf to hym the beestis of the feeld, that thei serue hym.
and now I to give: give [obj] all [the] land: country/planet [the] these in/on/with hand: power Nebuchadnezzar king Babylon servant/slave my and also [obj] living thing [the] land: country to give: give to/for him to/for to serve him
7 And alle folkis schulen serue hym, and his sone, and the sone of his sone, til the tyme of his lond and of hym come; and many folkis and grete kyngis schulen serue hym.
and to serve [obj] him all [the] nation and [obj] son: child his and [obj] son: descendant/people son: descendant/people his till to come (in): come time land: country/planet his also he/she/it and to serve in/on/with him nation many and king great: large
8 Forsothe the folk and rewme that serueth not Nabugodonosor, kyng of Babiloyne, and whoeuer bowith not his necke vndur the yok of the kyng of Babiloyne, Y schal visite on that folk in swerd, and hungur, and pestilence, seith the Lord, til Y waaste hem in his hond.
and to be [the] nation and [the] kingdom which not to serve [obj] him [obj] Nebuchadnezzar king Babylon and [obj] which not to give: put [obj] neck his in/on/with yoke king Babylon in/on/with sword and in/on/with famine and in/on/with pestilence to reckon: punish upon [the] nation [the] he/she/it utterance LORD till to finish I [obj] them in/on/with hand: power his
9 Therfor nyle ye here youre profetis, and false dyuynouris, and dremeris, and dyuyneris bi chiteryng and fleyng of briddis, and witchis, that seien to you, Ye schulen not serue the kyng of Babiloyne;
and you(m. p.) not to hear: hear to(wards) prophet your and to(wards) to divine your and to(wards) dream your and to(wards) to divine your and to(wards) sorcerer your which they(masc.) to say to(wards) you to/for to say not to serve [obj] king Babylon
10 for thei profesien a lessyng to you, that thei make you fer fro youre lond, and caste out you, and ye perische.
for deception they(masc.) to prophesy to/for you because to remove [obj] you from upon land: soil your and to banish [obj] you and to perish
11 Certis the folk that makith suget her nol vndur the yok of the kyng of Babiloyne, and serueth hym, Y schal dismytte it in his lond, seith the Lord; and it schal tile that lond, and schal dwelle therynne.
and [the] nation which to come (in): bring [obj] neck his in/on/with yoke king Babylon and to serve him and to rest him upon land: soil his utterance LORD and to serve: labour her and to dwell in/on/with her
12 And Y spak bi alle these wordis to Sedechie, kyng of Juda, and Y seide, Make ye suget youre neckis vndur the yok of the kyng of Babiloyne, and serue ye hym, and his puple, and ye schulen lyue.
and to(wards) Zedekiah king Judah to speak: speak like/as all [the] word [the] these to/for to say to come (in): bring [obj] neck your in/on/with yoke king Babylon and to serve [obj] him and people his and to live
13 Whi schulen ye die, thou and thi puple, bi swerd, and hungur, and pestilence, as the Lord spak to the folk, that nolde serue to the kyng of Babiloyne?
to/for what? to die you(m. s.) and people your in/on/with sword in/on/with famine and in/on/with pestilence like/as as which to speak: speak LORD to(wards) [the] nation which not to serve [obj] king Babylon
14 Nyle ye here the wordis of profetis seiynge to you, Ye schulen not serue the kyng of Babiloyne; for thei speken leesyng to you, for Y sente not hem, seith the Lord;
and not to hear: hear to(wards) word [the] prophet [the] to say to(wards) you to/for to say not to serve [obj] king Babylon for deception they(masc.) to prophesy to/for you
15 and thei profesien falsly in my name, that thei caste out you, and that ye perische, bothe ye and the profetis that profesien to you.
for not to send: depart them utterance LORD and they(masc.) to prophesy in/on/with name my to/for deception because to banish I [obj] you and to perish you(m. p.) and [the] prophet [the] to prophesy to/for you
16 And Y spak to the preestis, and to this puple, and Y seide, The Lord God seith these thingis, Nyle ye here the wordis of youre profetis, that profesien to you, and seien, Lo! the vessels of the Lord schulen turne ayen now soone fro Babiloyne; for thei profesien a leesyng to you.
and to(wards) [the] priest and to(wards) all [the] people [the] this to speak: speak to/for to say thus to say LORD not to hear: hear to(wards) word prophet your [the] to prophesy to/for you to/for to say behold article/utensil house: temple LORD to return: return from Babylon [to] now haste for deception they(masc.) to prophesy to/for you
17 Therfor nyle ye here hem, but serue ye to the kyng of Babiloyne, that ye lyue; whi is this citee youun in to wildirnesse?
not to hear: hear to(wards) them to serve [obj] king Babylon and to live to/for what? to be [the] city [the] this desolation
18 And if thei ben profetis, and if the word of God is in hem, renne thei to the Lord of oostis, that the vessels whiche weren left in the hous of the Lord, and in the hous of the kyng of Juda, and in Jerusalem, come not in to Babiloyne.
and if prophet they(masc.) and if there word LORD with them to fall on please in/on/with LORD Hosts to/for lest to come (in): come [the] article/utensil [the] to remain in/on/with house: temple LORD and house: palace king Judah and in/on/with Jerusalem Babylon [to]
19 For the Lord of oostis seith these thingis to the pilers, and to the see, that is, a greet waischyng vessel, and to the foundementis, and to the remenauntis of vessels, that weren left in this citee,
for thus to say LORD Hosts to(wards) [the] pillar and upon [the] sea and upon [the] base and upon remainder [the] article/utensil [the] to remain in/on/with city [the] this
20 whiche Nabugodonosor, king of Babiloyne, took not, whanne he translatide Jeconye, the sone of Joachim, king of Juda, fro Jerusalem in to Babiloyne, and alle the principal men of Juda and of Jerusalem.
which not to take: take them Nebuchadnezzar king Babylon in/on/with to reveal: remove he [obj] (Jeconiah *Q(k)*) son: child Jehoiakim king Judah from Jerusalem Babylon [to] and [obj] all noble Judah and Jerusalem
21 For the Lord of oostis, God of Israel, seith these thingis to the vessels that ben left in the hous of the Lord, and in the hous of the king of Juda, and in Jerusalem, Tho schulen be translatid in to Babiloyne,
for thus to say LORD Hosts God Israel upon [the] article/utensil [the] to remain house: temple LORD and house: palace king Judah and Jerusalem
22 and schulen be there `til to the dai of her visitacioun, seith the Lord; and Y schal make tho to be brouyt, and to be restorid in this place.
Babylon [to] to come (in): bring and there [to] to be till day to reckon: visit I [obj] them utterance LORD and to ascend: establish them and to return: rescue them to(wards) [the] place [the] this
