Jeremiah 21
1 The word which was maad of the Lord to Jeremye, whanne king Sedechie sente to hym Phassur, the sone of Helchie, and Sofonye, the preest, the sone of Maasie, and seide,
Ang salita na dumating kay Jeremias na mula sa Panginoon, nang suguin ng haring Sedechias sa kaniya si Pashur na anak ni Malchias, at si Sephanias na anak ni Maasias na saserdote, na sinasabi,
2 Axe thou the Lord for vs, for Nabugodonosor, the kyng of Babiloyne, fiytith ayens vs; if in hap the Lord do with vs bi alle hise merueilis, and he go awei fro vs.
Isinasamo ko sa iyo, na ipagusisa mo kami sa Panginoon; sapagka't si Nabucodonosor na hari sa Babilonia, ay nakikipagdigma laban sa amin: marahil ang Panginoon ay gagawa sa amin ng ayon sa lahat niyang kamanghamanghang gawa, upang siya'y sumampa na mula sa amin.
3 And Jeremye seide to hem, Thus ye schulen seie to Sedechie,
Nang magkagayo'y sinabi ni Jeremias sa kanila, Ganito ang inyong sasabihin kay Sedechias:
4 The Lord God of Israel seith these thingis, Lo! Y schal turne the instrumentis of batel that ben in youre hondis, and with which ye fiyten ayens the king of Babiloyne, and ayens Caldeis, that bisegen you in the cumpas of wallis; and Y schal gadere tho togidere in the myddis of this citee.
Ganito ang sabi ng Panginoon, ng Dios ng Israel, Narito, ibabalik ko ang mga almas na pangdigma na nangasa inyong mga kamay, na inyong ipinakikipaglaban sa hari sa Babilonia, at laban sa mga Caldeo na kinukubkob ninyo sa labas ng mga kuta, at aking pipisanin sa gitna ng bayang ito.
5 And Y schal ouercome you in hond stretchid forth, and in strong arm, and in stronge veniaunce, and indignacioun, and in greet wraththe;
At ako sa aking sarili ay lalaban sa inyo na may unat na kamay at may malakas na bisig, sa galit, at sa kapusukan, at sa malaking poot.
6 and Y schal smyte the dwelleris of this citee, men and beestis schulen die bi greet pestilence.
At aking susugatan ang mga mananahan sa bayang ito, ang tao at gayon din ang hayop: sila'y mangamamatay sa malaking pagkasalot.
7 And after these thingis, seith the Lord, Y schal yyue Sedechie, kyng of Juda, and hise seruauntis, and his puple, and that ben left in this citee fro pestilence, and swerd, and hungur, in the hond of Nabugodonosor, kyng of Babiloyne, and in the hond of her enemyes, and in the hond of men sekynge the lijf of hem; and he schal smyte hem bi the scharpnesse of swerd; and he schal not be bowid, nether schal spare, nether schal haue mercy.
At pagkatapos, sabi ng Panginoon, aking ibibigay si Sedechias na hari sa Juda, at ang kaniyang mga lingkod, at ang bayan, at yaong nangaiwan sa bayang ito na mula sa pagkasalot, mula sa tabak, at mula sa gutom, sa kamay ni Nabucodonosor na hari sa Babilonia, at sa kamay ng kanilang mga kaaway, at sa kamay ng nagsisiusig ng kanilang buhay: at kaniyang susugatan sila ng talim ng tabak; hindi niya patatawarin sila, o panghihinayangan man, o kaaawaan man.
8 And thou schalt seie to this puple, The Lord God seith these thingis, Lo! Y yyue bifore you the weie of lijf, and the weie of deth.
At sa bayang ito ay sasabihin mo, Ganito ang sabi ng Panginoon, Narito, inilalagay ko sa harap ninyo ang daan ng kabuhayan at ang daan ng kamatayan,
9 He that dwellith in this citee, schal die bi swerd, and hungur, and pestilence; but he that goith out, and fleeth ouer to Caldeis that bisegen you, schal lyue, and his lijf schal be as a prey to hym.
Ang tumatahan sa bayang ito ay mamamatay sa pamamagitan ng kagutom, at sa pamamagitan ng tabak at sa pamamagitan ng salot; nguni't ang lumalabas at kumakampi sa mga Caldeo na kumukubkob sa inyo, siya'y mabubuhay, at ang kaniyang buhay ay magiging sa kaniya'y pinakahuli.
10 For Y haue set my face on this citee in to yuel, and not in to good, seith the Lord; it schal be youun in the hond of the king of Babiloyne, and he schal brenne it with fier.
Sapagka't itinitig ko ang mukha ko sa bayang ito sa ikasasama, at hindi sa ikabubuti, sabi ng Panginoon: ito'y ibibigay sa kamay ng hari sa Babilonia, at kaniyang susunugin sa apoy.
11 And thou schalt seie to the hous of the king of Juda, the hous of Dauid, Here ye the word of the Lord.
At tungkol sa sangbahayan ng hari sa Juda, inyong pakinggan ang salita ng Panginoon,
12 The Lord seith these thingis, Deme ye eerli doom, and delyuere ye hym that is oppressid bi violence fro the hond of the fals chalenger; lest perauenture myn indignacioun go out as fier, and be kyndlid, and noon be that quenche, for the malice of youre studies.
Oh sangbahayan ni David, ganito ang sabi ng Panginoon, Maglapat ka ng kahatulan sa umaga, at iligtas mo ang nanakawan sa kamay ng mamimighati, baka ang aking kapusukan ay lumabas na parang apoy, at magningas na walang makapatay, dahil sa kasamaan ng inyong mga gawain.
13 Lo! Y to thee, dwelleresse of the sad valei and pleyn, seith the Lord, which seien, Who schal smyte vs, and who schal entre in to oure housis?
Narito, ako'y laban sa iyo, Oh nananahan sa libis, at sa batohan ng kapatagan, sabi ng Panginoon; kayong nangagsasabi, Sinong bababang laban sa atin? o sinong papasok sa ating mga tahanan?
14 And Y schal visite on you bi the fruyt of youre studies, seith the Lord; and Y schal kyndle fier in the forest therof, and it schal deuoure alle thingis in the cumpas therof.
At aking parurusahan kayo ayon sa bunga ng inyong mga gawa, sabi ng Panginoon; at ako'y magsusulsol ng apoy sa kaniyang gubat, at susupukin niyaon ang lahat na nangasa palibot niyaon.
