1 Mi britheren, nyle ye be maad many maistris, witynge that ye taken the more doom.
N kpiiba, yi siiga nni niba boncianla n da lingi ki baa tua bangikaaba, kelima U Tienu ba jia leni tinba bi bangikaaba ya buudi n pa ki cie.
2 For alle we offenden in many thingis. If ony man offendith not in word, this is a perfit man; for also he may lede aboute al the bodi with a bridil.
Ti kuli tudi ya tudima buoli n yaba. O nilo yaa tudi o maama nni ba waamu, o tie ya nilo n ŋani ki dagidi cain ki fidi paani o gbannandi kuli.
3 For if we putten bridlis `in to horsis mouthis, for to consente to vs, and we leden aboute al the bodi of hem.
Ti ya kpibini yi taami mu biamu ke ban tuo ki ya tiendi tin bua yaala, ti fidi ki gobidi bi gbannandi kuli.
4 And lo! schippis, whanne thei ben grete, and ben dryuun of stronge wyndis, yit thei ben borun about of a litil gouernaile, where the meuyng of the gouernour wole.
Yin go kpaagi mani ti ñinbiaciandi, ba ke ti yaba boncianla ke ti tafaciandi mo tudi ti, o ñinbiagobido gobidi ti leni ya bonpegidikaala n wa, ki tendi ke ti ca wan bua naankani.
5 So also the tunge is but a litil membre, and reisith grete thingis. Lo! hou litil fier brenneth a ful greet wode.
Bu lanbu mo tie yene, bu wa i gbannanbuoli kuli siiga, ama bu baa fidi ki fiini bu ba ki maadi mi japaamaama boncianla.
6 And oure tunge is fier, the vniuersite of wickidnesse. The tunge is ordeyned in oure membris, which defoulith al the bodi; and it is enflawmed of helle, and enflawmeth the wheel of oure birthe. (Geenna )
Diidi mani mi fantama waamu baa fidi ki bolini ya fuali n yaba. Bu lanbu mo tie nani mi fantama yeni, ki go tie ya bonbiadila n ye ti gbannandi siiga, ki joagindi ti gbannandi kuli. Ku fantanbuogu fantama ye bu niinni, ki teni ke bu cuondi mi fantama o nisaalo miali yema kuli nni. (Geenna )
7 And al the kynde of beestis, and of foulis, and of serpentis, and of othere is chastisid, and tho ben maad tame of mannus kinde; but no man mai chastise the tunge,
O nisaalo baa fidi ki paadi ti fuayandi buoli kuli, ti bonyugiditi buoli kuli, li bonbalinkaala buoli kuli leni ya bonfuada buoli n ye mi ñima nni kuli, o paadi ba ki diedi mo.
8 for it is an vnpesible yuel, and ful of deedli venym.
Ama bi nisaaliba siiga oba kuli kan fidi ki paadi bu lanbu. Bu tie ban kan fidi ki diedi ya bonbiadila, ya loabidi n baa cuani mi kuuma gbie bu niinni.
9 In it we blessen God, the fadir, and in it we cursen men, that ben maad to the licnesse of God.
Ti pagi o Diedo ti Baa leni buni, ki go solini bi nisaaliba, U Tienu n den tagi yaaba o nannanli nni leni buni.
10 Of the same mouth passith forth blessing and cursing. My britheren, it bihoueth not that these thingis be don so.
Ti pagidi leni ti solindi kuli ña ñoayenbu nni. N kpiiba, laa pundi lan ya tie yeni.
11 Whether a welle of the same hoole bringith forth swete and salt watir?
Naani ya ñima n mani leni ya ñima n to baa fidi ki taani ki ña ñinbunyenli nni bi?
12 My britheren, whether a fige tre may make grapis, ethir a vyne figus? So nethir salt watir mai make swete watir.
N kpiiba, naani bu kankanbu baa fidi ki luoni olife bonluonkaala bi? Naani duven tibu mo baa fidi ki luoni a kankanna bi? Ya ñinbunli n tie ñinyaama mo kan fidi ki bundi ñinmanma.
13 Who is wijs, and tauyt among you? schewe he of good lyuyng his worching, in myldenesse of his wisdom.
Yi siiga ŋme tie o yanfodaano ki pia mi bandima ki go fani? Wan doagidi o tagiŋamu nni o tuonŋama ya n yegi leni li yumiinli leni mi yanfuoma.
14 That if ye han bitter enuye, and stryuyngis ben in youre hertis, nyle ye haue glorye, and be lyeris ayens the treuthe.
Ama yi ya pia li yankuabiadili ki nia leni yi yaba, yin da kpiagi yi yula ki da pua faama i moamoani po.
15 For this wisdom is not fro aboue comynge doun, but ertheli, and beestli, and feendli.
Laa yanfuoma buolu naa tie yaama n ñani tanpoli. Ama mi tie ŋanduna yaama, kigo tie ti gbannandi yaama ki ñani mu cicibiadimu kani.
16 For where is enuye and strijf, there is vnstidfastnesse and al schrewid werk.
Kelima li yankuabiadili leni mi niama n ye naankani, li bonla kuli baa tie sisindi sindi, li bontieka-biadila buoli kuli mo baa ye li kani.
17 But wisdom that is from aboue, first it is chast, aftirward pesible, mylde, able to be counseilid, consentinge to goode thingis, ful of merci and of goode fruytis, demynge with out feynyng.
Ama ya yanfuoma n ñani tanpoli n tie maama nne: Mi kpa ŋani cain, yaala n ŋua mo tie ke mi kpendinni mi yanduanma, mi dingi, mi pia li yumiinli ki gbie leni mi niŋigbadima, mi tiendi a tuonŋama, maa tiendi gagidima bi niba siiga, maa pia pala lie mo.
18 And the fruyt of riytwisnesse is sowun in pees, to men that maken pees.
Yaaba n lingi mi yanduama tuuni ya tuona n tiegi mi yanduma nni.
