1 The visioun, ether profesie, of Ysaie, the sone of Amos, which he siy on Juda and Jerusalem, in the daies of Osie, of Joathan, of Achas, and of Ezechie, kyngis of Juda.
Ko e meʻa naʻe hā mai kia ʻIsaia koe foha ʻo ʻAmosi, ʻaia naʻa ne mamata ʻoku kau ki Siuta mo Selūsalema ʻi he ngaahi ʻaho ʻo ʻUsia, mo Sotame, mo ʻAhasi, pea mo Hesekaia, koe ngaahi tuʻi ʻo Siuta.
2 Ye heuenes, here, and thou erthe, perseyue with eeris, for the Lord spak. Y haue nurschid and Y haue enhaunsid sones; sotheli thei han dispisid me.
Mou fanongo, ʻae ngaahi langi, pea fakafanongo mo māmani: he ʻoku folofola ʻa Sihova, “Kuo u fafanga mo tauhi ʻae fānau, pea kuo nau angatuʻu kiate au.
3 An oxe knew his lord, and an asse knew the cratche of his lord; but Israel knewe not me, and my puple vndurstood not.
ʻOku ʻilo ʻe he pulu ʻaia ʻoku ʻaʻana ia, pea mo e ʻasi ʻae fale manu ʻo ʻene ʻeiki: ka ʻoku ʻikai ʻilo ʻe ʻIsileli, ʻoku ʻikai tokanga ʻa hoku kakai.”
4 Wo to the synful folk, to the puple heuy in wickidnesse, to the weiward seed, to the cursid sones; thei han forsake the Lord, thei han blasfemyd the hooli of Israel, thei ben aliened bacward.
Oiau! ʻAe puleʻanga angakovi, ko e kakai māfasia ʻi he hia, ko e hako fai meʻa kovi, ko e fānau ʻoku fakahala: kuo nau liʻaki ʻa Sihova, kuo nau fakahouhauʻi ʻae tokotaha māʻoniʻoni ʻo ʻIsileli, kuo nau fakaholomui.
5 On what thing schal Y smyte you more, that encreessen trespassyng? Ech heed is sijk, and ech herte is morenynge.
Ko e hā ʻe toe teʻia ai ʻakimoutolu? ʻE tupulaki pe hoʻomou angatuʻu: ʻoku mahaki ʻae ʻulu kotoa pē, pea vaivai mo e loto kotoa pē.
6 Fro the sole of the foot til to the nol, helthe is not ther ynne; wounde, and wannesse, and betyng bolnynge is not boundun aboute, nether curid bi medicyn, nether nurschid with oile.
Mei he ʻaofi vaʻe ʻo aʻu ki he ʻulu ʻoku ʻikai ha haohaoa ʻi ai; ka ko e lavea, mo e volu, mo e pala kovi: ʻoku teʻeki ai fakamaʻopo, pe nonoʻo, pe feʻauaki ʻae lolo faitoʻo.
7 Youre lond is forsakun, youre citees ben brent bi fier; aliens deuouren youre cuntrei bifore you, and it schal be disolat as in the distriyng of enemyes.
Kuo lala homou fonua, kuo vela homou ngaahi kolo ʻi he afi: pea ko homou fonua, ʻoku kai ʻo ʻosi ʻe he kakai muli ʻi homou ʻao, pea ʻoku lala ia, ʻo hangē kuo fakaʻauha ʻe he kau muli.
8 And the douytir of Sion, `that is, Jerusalem, schal be forsakun as a schadewynge place in a vyner, and as an hulke in a place where gourdis wexen, and as a citee which is wastid.
Pea kuo tuku ʻae ʻofefine ʻo Saione ʻo hangē ko e fale siʻi ʻi he ngoue vaine, ʻo hangē ko e fale leʻo ʻi he ngoue kukumipa, ʻo hangē ko e kolo kuo kāpui ʻe he tau.
9 If the Lord of oostis hadde not left seed to vs, we hadden be as Sodom, and we hadden be lijk as Gomorre.
Ka ne ʻikai tuku kiate kitautolu ʻe Sihova ʻoe ngaahi kautau ha tokosiʻi, pehē, kuo tau hangē ko Sotoma, pea kuo tau tatau mo Komola.
10 Ye princes of men of Sodom, here the word of the Lord; and ye puple of Gommorre, perseyue with eeris the lawe of youre God.
Fanongo ki he folofola ʻa Sihova, ʻakimoutolu ʻae kau pule ʻo Sotoma; fakafanongo ki he fono ʻa hotau ʻOtua, ʻakimoutolu ko e kakai ʻo Komola.
11 Wherto offren ye to me the multitude of youre sacrifices? seith the Lord. Y am ful; Y wolde not the brent sacrifices of wetheris, and the ynnere fatnesse of fatte beestis, and the blood of calues, and of lambren, and of buckis of geet.
ʻOku pehē ʻe Sihova, “Ko e hā hono ʻaonga ʻo hoʻomou ngaahi feilaulau lahi kiate au? Kuo u fiu ʻi he feilaulau ʻaki ʻae fanga sipitangata, mo e ngako ʻoe manu sino; pea ʻoku ʻikai te u fiemālie ʻi he toto ʻoe fanga pulu, pe ko e fanga lami, pe ko e fanga kosi tangata.
12 Whanne ye camen bifore my siyt, who axide of youre hondis these thingis, that ye schulden go in myn hallys?
ʻOka mou ka haʻu ke fakahā ʻakimoutolu ʻi hoku ʻao, ko hai kuo ne fekau ke ʻomi ʻae meʻa ni ʻi homou nima, ke malaki hoku ngaahi potu tapu?
13 Offre ye no more sacrifice in veyn; encense is abhomynacioun to me; Y schal not suffre neomenye, and sabat, and othere feestis.
ʻOua naʻa toe ʻomi ʻae ngaahi feilaulau taʻeʻaonga; ko e meʻa fakalielia kiate au ʻae tutu ʻoe ʻakau namu lelei; ko e ngaahi māhina foʻou mo e ngaahi ʻaho tapu, mo e ui ke fakataha, ʻoku ʻikai te u faʻa kātaki; pea naʻa mo e fakataha ke lotu ko e angahala ia.
14 Youre cumpenyes ben wickid; my soule hatith youre calendis and youre solempnytees; tho ben maad diseseful to me, Y trauelide suffrynge.
ʻOku fehiʻa ʻa hoku laumālie ki hoʻomou ngaahi māhina foʻou mo hoʻomou ngaahi kātoanga: ko e meʻa fakamamahi ia kiate au; kuo u fiu ʻi hono kātaki.
15 And whanne ye stretchen forth youre hondis, Y schal turne awei myn iyen fro you; and whanne ye multiplien preyer, Y schal not here; for whi youre hondis ben ful of blood.
ʻOka mou ka mafao homou nima, te u fufū hoku fofonga ʻiate kimoutolu: ʻio, ʻoka mou ka hū ʻo liunga lahi, ʻe ʻikai te u fanongo: he ʻoku pito homou nima ʻi he toto.
16 Be ye waischun, be ye clene; do ye awei the yuel of youre thouytis fro myn iyen; ceesse ye to do weiwardli, lerne ye to do wel.
“Fufulu ʻakimoutolu, ʻo ngaohi ke mou maʻa; hiki ke mamaʻo meiate au ʻae kovi ʻo hoʻomou faianga; tuku ʻae fai kovi;
17 Seke ye doom, helpe ye hym that is oppressid, deme ye to the fadirles and modirles child, defende ye a widewe.
ʻAko ke mou fai lelei: kumi ki he angatonu, tokoni ʻakinautolu kuo fakamālohia, fakamaau ki he tamai mate, langomakiʻi ʻae fefine kuo mate hono husepāniti.”
18 And come ye, and repreue ye me, seith the Lord. Thouy youre synnes ben as blood reed, tho schulen be maad whijt as snow; and thouy tho ben reed as vermylioun, tho schulen be whijt as wolle.
ʻOku pehē ʻe Sihova, “Mou haʻu, pea ke tau alea fakataha: he neongo ʻae tatau ʻo hoʻomou angahala mo e kulaʻahoʻaho, ʻe hoko ia ke hinehina ʻo hangē ko e ʻuha hinaekiaki; kapau ʻoku kulokula ia ʻo hangē ko e kulamūmū, ʻe tatau ia mo e fulufuluʻi sipi.
19 If ye wolen, and heren me, ye schulen ete the goodis of erthe.
Kapau te mou loto ki ai mo talangofua, te mou kai hono lelei ʻoe fonua:
20 That if ye nylen, and ye terren me to wrathfulnesse, swerd schal deuoure you; for whi the mouth of the Lord spak.
Ka ʻi hoʻomou talangataʻa mo angatuʻu, ʻe ʻauha ai ʻakimoutolu ʻi he heletā: he kuo folofola pehē ʻae fofonga ʻo Sihova.”
21 Hou is the feithful citee ful of dom maad an hoore? riytfulnesse dwellide ther ynne; but now menquelleris dwellen ther ynne.
Hono ʻikai liliu fau ʻae kolo naʻe angatonu ko e faʻa feʻauaki! Naʻe fonu ia ʻi he fakamaau; naʻe nofo ai ʻae māʻoniʻoni; ka ʻoku ʻi ai ni ʻae kau fakapō.
22 Thi siluer is turned in to dros, ether filthe; thi wyn is medlid with watir.
Kuo hoko hoʻo siliva ko e taʻeʻaonga, mo hoʻo uaine kuo huʻi ʻaki ʻae vai:
23 Thi princes ben vnfeithful, the felowis of theuys; alle louen yiftis, suen meedis; thei demen not to a fadirles child, and the cause of a widewe entrith not to hem.
ʻOku angatuʻu homou houʻeiki, pea kaumeʻa mo e kau kaihaʻa: ʻoku nau manako kotoa pē ki he ngaahi foaki, ʻonau muimui ki he totongi: ʻoku ʻikai te nau fakamaau ki he tamai mate, pea ʻoku ʻikai aʻu kiate kinautolu ʻae mamahi ʻae fefine kuo mate hono husepāniti.
24 For this thing, seith the Lord God of oostis, the stronge of Israel, Alas! Y schal be coumfortid on myn enemyes, and Y schal be vengid on myn enemyes.
Ko ia ʻoku pehē ʻe he ʻEiki, ko Sihova ʻoe ngaahi kautau, ko e Toko Taha Māfimafi ʻo ʻIsileli, “ʻIo, te u fakafiemālieʻi au ʻiate kinautolu ʻoku angatuʻu mai, pea te u totongi ʻe au ki hoku ngaahi fili.
25 And Y schal turne myn hond to thee, and Y schal sethe out thi filthe to the cleene, and Y schal do awei al thi tyn.
Pea ʻe toe ala hoku nima kiate koe, pea fakamaʻa moʻoni hoʻo ʻuli, pea ʻave mo hoʻo kovi kotoa pē:
26 And Y schal restore thi iuges, as thei weren bifor to, and thi counselours, as in elde tyme. Aftir these thingis thou schalt be clepid the citee of the riytful, a feithful citee.
Pea te u toe fakanofo hoʻo kau fakamaau ʻo hangē ko ia ʻi muʻa, pea mo hoʻo kau fakakaukau poto ʻo hangē ko ia ʻi he kamataʻanga: pea hili ia ʻe ui koe, ‘Ko e kolo māʻoniʻoni, ko e kolo angatonu.’
27 Sion schal be ayen bouyt in dom, and thei schulen bringe it ayen in to riytfulnesse;
ʻE huhuʻi ʻa Saione ʻaki ʻae fakamaau, mo ʻene kakai ului ʻaki ʻae māʻoniʻoni.”
28 and God schal al to-breke cursid men and synneris togidere, and thei that forsoken the Lord, schulen be wastid.
Pea ʻe fakaʻauha fakataha ʻae kau talangataʻa mo e angahala, pea ʻe ʻauha ʻakinautolu ʻoku liʻaki ʻa Sihova.
29 For thei schulen be aschamed of idols, to whiche thei maden sacrifice; and ye shulen be aschamid on the orcherdis, whiche ye chesiden.
He te nau mā ʻi he ngaahi ʻakau naʻa mou holi ki ai, pea te mou puputuʻu ʻi he ngaahi ngoue kuo mou fili.
30 Whanne ye schulen be as an ook, whanne the leeues fallen doun, and as an orcherd with out watir.
He te mou tatau mo e ʻakau kuo mae hono lau, pea hangē ko e ngoue ʻoku ʻikai hano vai.
31 And youre strengthe schal be as a deed sparcle of bonys, `ether of herdis of flex, and youre werk schal be as a quyk sparcle; and euer either schal be brent togidere, and noon schal be that schal quenche.
Pea ʻe tatau ʻae mālohi mo e kākā, pea mo ʻene ngāue ʻo hangē ko e kalofiama, pea te na vela fakataha, pea ʻe ʻikai tāmateʻi ia ʻe ha tokotaha.”
