< Isaiah 65 >

1 Thei souyten me, that axiden not bifore; thei that souyten not me, founden me. Y seide, Lo! Y, lo! Y, to hethene men that knewen not me, and that clepiden not mi name to help.
“ʻOku kumi kiate au ʻakinautolu naʻe ʻikai te nau fehuʻi kiate au; kuo ʻilo au ʻekinautolu naʻe ʻikai kumi kiate au: naʻaku pehē, ‘Vakai kiate au, vakai kiate au,’ ki he puleʻanga naʻe ʻikai ke ui ʻaki hoku huafa.
2 I stretchide forth myn hondis al dai to a puple vnbileueful, that goith in a weie not good, aftir her thouytis.
Kuo u mafao atu hoku nima ʻi he ʻaho kotoa ki he kakai angatuʻu, ʻaia ʻoku ʻeveʻeva ʻi he hala ʻoku ʻikai lelei, ʻo hangē ko ʻenau ngaahi filioʻi:
3 It is a puple that stirith me to wrathfulnesse, euere bifore my face; whiche offren in gardyns, and maken sacrifice on tiel stoonys;
Ko e kakai ʻoku fakahouhau kiate au maʻuaipē ki hoku fofonga; ʻoku fai feilaulau ʻi he ngaahi ngoue, pea ʻoku tutu ʻae meʻa namu kakala ʻi he ngaahi ʻesi makaʻumea;
4 whiche dwellen in sepulcris, and slepen in the templis of idols; whiche eten swynes fleisch, and vnhooli iwisch is in the vessels of hem;
‌ʻAkinautolu ʻoku nofo ʻi he ngaahi tanuʻanga, pea ʻi he ngaahi fale māʻolunga, ʻoku kai ʻae kakano ʻoe puaka, pea ko e vaihū ʻoe ngaahi meʻa fakalielia ʻoku ʻi he ʻenau ngaahi ipu;
5 whiche seien to an hethene man, Go thou awei fro me, neiy thou not to me, for thou art vncleene; these schulen be smoke in my stronge veniaunce, fier brennynge al dai.
‌ʻAkinautolu ʻoku pehē, ‘Tuʻu tokotaha pe koe, ʻoua ʻe haʻu ke ofi kiate au; he ʻoku ou māʻoniʻoni hake ʻiate koe.’ Ko e ʻohuafi ʻakinautolu ni ʻi hoku fofonga, ko e afi ʻoku ulo ʻi he ʻaho kotoa pē.
6 Lo! it is writun bifore me; Y schal not be stille, but Y schal yelde, and Y schal quyte in to the bosum of hem youre wickidnessis,
“Vakai, ʻoku tohi ʻi hoku ʻao: ʻE ʻikai te u fakalongo pe, ka te u totongi, ʻio, ʻe ai ʻae totongi ki honau fatafata.
7 and the wickidnessis of youre fadris togidere, seith the Lord, whiche maden sacrifice on mounteyns, and diden schenschipe to me on litle hillis; and Y schal mete ayen the firste werk of hem in her bosum.
‌ʻOku pehē ʻe Sihova, “Ko hoʻomou angahia, mo e angahala ʻa hoʻomou ngaahi tamai fakataha, ʻakinautolu kuo tutu ʻae meʻa namu kakala ʻi he ngaahi moʻunga, pea kape kiate au ʻi he ngaahi potu tafungofunga: ko ia te u fua ʻa ʻenau muʻaki ngāue ki honau fatafata.
8 The Lord seith thes thingis, As if a grape be foundun in a clustre, and it be seid, Distrie thou not it, for it is blessyng; so Y schal do for my seruantis, that Y leese not al.
‌ʻOku pehē ʻe Sihova, “ʻO hangē ʻoku ʻilo ʻae uaine foʻou ʻi he fuhi, pea ʻoku pehē ʻe ha taha, ‘ʻoua ʻe fakaʻauha ia; he ʻoku ʻi ai ha tāpuaki;’ te u fai pehē koeʻuhi ko ʻeku kau tamaioʻeiki, koeʻuhi ke ʻoua naʻaku fakaʻauha ʻakinautolu kotoa pē.
9 And Y schal lede out of Jacob seed, and of Juda a man hauynge in possessioun myn hooli hillis; and my chosun men schulen enherite it, and my seruauntis schulen dwelle there.
Pea te u ʻomi ha hako meia Sēkope, pea mei Siuta ha taha ke maʻu hoku ngaahi moʻunga: pea ʻe maʻu ia ʻe hoku kakai fili, pea ʻe nofo ai ʻa ʻeku kau tamaioʻeiki.
10 And the feeldi places schulen be into floodis of flockis, and the valei of Achar in to a restyng place of droues of neet, to my puple that souyten me.
Pea ʻe hoko ʻa Saloni ko e loto ʻā ʻae fanga sipi, pea ko e teleʻa ʻo ʻAkoli ko e tokotoʻanga ʻoe fanga manu, maʻa hoku kakai ʻaia kuo kumi kiate au.
11 And Y schal noumbre you in swerd, that forsoken the Lord, that foryaten myn hooli hil, whiche setten a boord to fortune, and maken sacrifice theronne,
“Ka ko kimoutolu kuo mou liʻaki ʻa Sihova, kuo fakangalongaloʻi hoku moʻunga tapu, ʻoku mou teuteu ha keinangaʻanga maʻa Kata, pea ʻoku ʻatu ʻae feilaulau inu kia Meni.
12 and alle ye schulen falle bi sleyng; for that that Y clepide, and ye answeriden not; Y spak, and ye herden not; and ye diden yuel bifor myn iyen, and ye chesiden tho thingis whiche Y nolde.
Ko ia te u lau ai ʻakimoutolu ki he heletā, pea te mou punou kotoa pē ki he tāmateʻi: koeʻuhi ʻi heʻeku ui, naʻe ʻikai te mou tali; ʻi heʻeku lea, naʻe ʻikai te mou fanongo; ka naʻa mou fai kovi ʻi hoku ʻao, mo fili ʻaia naʻe ʻikai te u fiemālie ai.
13 For these thingis, the Lord God seith these thingis, Lo! my seruauntis schulen ete, and ye schulen haue hungur; lo! my seruauntis schulen drynke, and ye schulen be thirsti;
Ko ia ʻoku pehē ʻe he ʻOtua ko Sihova, “Vakai, ʻe kai ʻe heʻeku kau tamaioʻeiki, ka te mou fiekaia: vakai, ʻe inu ʻe heʻeku kau tamaioʻeiki, ka te mou fieinua: vakai, ʻe fiefia ʻeku kau tamaioʻeiki, ka e mā ʻakimoutolu.
14 lo! my seruauntis schulen be glad, and ye schulen be aschamed; lo! my seruauntis schulen herie, for the ful ioie of herte, and ye schulen crie, for the sorewe of herte, and ye schulen yelle, for desolacioun of spirit.
Vakai, ʻe hivehiva ʻeku kau tamaioʻeiki koeʻuhi ko e fiefia ʻoe loto, ka te mou tangi koeʻuhi ko e mamahi ʻoe loto, pea ʻe tangilāulau ʻi he mamahi ʻoe laumālie.
15 And ye schulen leeue youre name in to an ooth to my chosun men; and the Lord God schal sle thee, and he schal clepe hise seruauntis bi another name.
Pea te mou tuku homou hingoa ko e fakamamahi kiate kinautolu kuo u fili: koeʻuhi ʻe tāmateʻi ʻakimoutolu ʻe he ʻEiki ko Sihova, pea ui ʻene kau tamaioʻeiki ʻaki ha hingoa kehe:
16 In which he that is blessid on erthe, schal be blessid in God amen; and he that swerith in erthe, shal swere in God feithfuli; for the formere angwischis ben youun to foryetyng, and for tho ben hid fro youre iyen.
Koeʻuhi ko ia ʻoku ne tāpuaki ia ʻi he fonua te ne tāpuaki ia ʻi he ʻOtua ʻoe moʻoni; pea ko ia ʻoku fuakava ʻi he fonua te ne fuakava ʻi he ʻOtua ʻoe moʻoni; koeʻuhi kuo fakangalo ʻae ngaahi muʻaki mamahi, pea koeʻuhi kuo fakafufū ia mei hoku fofonga.
17 For lo! Y make newe heuenes and a newe erthe, and the formere thingis schulen not be in mynde, and schulen not stie on the herte.
“Vakai, he ʻoku ou fakatupu ʻae ngaahi langi foʻou pea mo e fonua foʻou: pea ʻe ʻikai manatu ʻaia naʻe ʻi muʻa, pe ai ha manatu loto ki ai.
18 But ye schulen haue ioie, and make ful out ioiyng til in to with outen ende, in these thingis whiche Y make; for lo! Y make Jerusalem ful out ioiynge, and the puple therof ioie.
Ka ke fiefia ʻakimoutolu pea nekeneka ʻo taʻengata ʻi he meʻa ʻoku ou fakatupu: he vakai, ʻoku ou ngaohi ʻa Selūsalema ko e fiefiaʻanga, pea ke fiefia ʻa hono kakai.
19 And Y schal make ful out ioiyng in Jerusalem, and Y schal haue ioie in my puple; and the vois of weping and the vois of cry schal no more be herd ther ynne.
Pea te u fiefia ia Selūsalema, pea nekeneka ʻi hoku kakai: pea ʻe ʻikai ha toe fanongo ki ha leʻo ʻoe tangi ʻiate ia, pe ko e leʻo ʻoe tangi mamahi.
20 A yong child of daies schal no more be there, and an eld man that fillith not hise daies; for whi a child of an hundrid yeer schal die, and a synnere of an hundrid yeer schal be cursid.
“ʻE ʻikai toe ʻai ʻi ai ha tamasiʻi ʻoku moʻui fuonounou, pe ko ha tangata motuʻa ʻoku taʻekakato hono ngaahi ʻaho: he ko ia ʻe mate ʻi hono teau taʻu ʻe mate ko e tamasiʻi pe; pea ko e tangata angahala ʻoku mate ʻi hono teau taʻu ʻe malaʻia ia.
21 And thei schulen bilde housis, and schulen enhabite hem, and thei schulen plaunte vynes, and schulen ete the fruytis of tho.
Pea te nau langa ʻae ngaahi fale, pea nofo ai; pea te nau tō ʻae ngaahi vaine, pea kai ʻae fua ʻo ia.
22 Thei schulen not bilde housis, and an othir schal enhabite hem, thei schulen not plaunte, and an othir schal ete; for whi the daies of my puple schulen be after the daies of the tree, and the werkis of
‌ʻE ʻikai te nau langa, kae nofo ai ha taha kehe; ʻe ʻikai te nau tō, kae kai ʻe ha taha kehe: he ʻoku hangē ko e ngaahi ʻaho ʻoe ʻakau ʻoku pehē ʻae ngaahi ʻaho ʻo hoku kakai, pea ʻe leleiʻia fuoloa ʻae kakai kuo u fili ʻi he ngāue ʻa honau nima.
23 her hondis schulen be elde to my chosun men. Thei schulen not trauele in veyn, nether thei schulen gendre in disturblyng; for it is the seed of hem that ben blessid of the Lord, and the cosyns of hem ben with hem.
‌ʻE ʻikai te nau ngāue taʻeʻaonga, pe fanauʻi ki he mamahi; he ko e hako ʻakinautolu kuo monūʻia ʻia Sihova, pea mo ʻenau fānau fakataha mo kinautolu.
24 And it schal be, bifor that thei crien, Y schal here; yit while thei speken, Y schal here.
Pea ʻe hoko ʻo pehē, ʻi he teʻeki te nau ui, te u tali; pea ʻi he lolotonga ʻenau lea, te u ongoʻi.
25 A wolf and a lomb schulen be fed togidere, and a lioun and an oxe schulen ete stree, and to a serpent dust schal be his breed; thei schulen not anoie, nether schulen sle, in al myn hooli hil, seith the Lord.
‌ʻOku pehē ʻe Sihova, “ʻE kai fakataha ʻae ulofi mo e lami, pea ʻe kai ʻe he laione ʻae kau ʻoe koane ʻo hangē ko e pulu: pea ko e meʻakai ʻoe ngata ko e efu. ʻE ʻikai te nau fakamamahi pe fakaʻauha ʻi [ha potu ʻo ]hoku moʻunga māʻoniʻoni kotoa pē.”
