Isaiah 62
1 For Sion Y schal not be stille, and for Jerusalem Y schal not reste, til the iust man therof go out as schynyng, and the sauyour therof be teendid as a laumpe.
PER amor di Sion, io non mi tacerò, e per amor di Gerusalemme, io non istarò cheto, finchè la sua giustizia esca fuori come uno splendore, e la sue salute lampeggi come una face.
2 And hethene men schulen se thi iust man, and alle kyngis schulen se thi noble man; and a newe name, which the mouth of the Lord nemyde, schal be clepid to thee.
Allora le genti vedranno la tua giustizia, e tutti i re la tua gloria. E sarai chiamata d'un nome nuovo, che la bocca del Signore avrà nominato;
3 And thou schalt be a coroun of glorie in the hond of the Lord, and a diademe of the rewme in the hond of thi God.
e sarai una corona di gloria nella mano del Signore, ed una benda reale nella palma del tuo Dio.
4 Thou schalt no more be clepid forsakun, and thi lond schal no more be clepid desolat; but thou schalt be clepid My wille in that, and thi lond schal be enhabitid; for it plesid the Lord in thee, and thi lond schal be enhabited.
Tu non sarai più chiamata: Abbandonata, e la tua terra non sarà più nominata: Desolata; anzi sarai chiamata: Il mio diletto [è] in essa; e la tua terra: Maritata; perciocchè il Signore prenderà diletto in te, e la tua terra avrà un marito.
5 For a yong man schal dwelle with a virgyn, and thi sones schulen dwelle in thee; and the spouse schal haue ioie on the spousesse, and thi God schal haue ioie on thee.
Imperocchè, [siccome] il giovane sposa la vergine, [così] i tuoi figliuoli ti sposeranno; e [come] uno sposo si rallegra della [sua] sposa, [così] l'Iddio tuo si rallegrerà di te.
6 Jerusalem, Y haue ordeyned keperis on thi wallis, al dai and al niyt with outen ende thei schulen not be stille. Ye that thenken on the Lord, be not stille,
O Gerusalemme, io ho costituite delle guardie sopra le tue mura; quelle non si taceranno giammai, nè giorno, nè notte. [O voi] che ricordate il Signore, non abbiate mai posa;
7 and yyue ye not silence to him, til he stablische, and til he sette Jerusalem `preisyng in erthe.
e non gli date mai posa, infin che abbia stabilita, e rimessa Gerusalemme in lode nella terra.
8 The Lord swoor in his riyt hond and in the arm of his strengthe, Y schal no more yyue thi wheete mete to thin enemyes, and alien sones schulen not drynke thi wyn, in which thou hast trauelid.
Il Signore ha giurato per la sua destra, e per lo bracci della sua forza: Se io do più il tuo frumento a' tuoi nemici, per mangiarlo; e se i figliuoli degli stranieri bevono [più] il tuo mosto, intorno al quale tu ti sei afaticata.
9 For thei that schulen gadere it togidere, schulen ete it, and schulen herie the Lord; and thei that beren it togidere, schulen drynke in myn hooli hallis.
Ma quelli che avranno ricolto [il frumento] lo mangeranno, e loderanno il Signore; e quelli che avranno vendemmiato il mosto lo berranno ne'cortili del mio santuario.
10 Passe ye, passe ye bi the yatis; make ye redi weie to the puple, make ye a playn path; and chese ye stoonys, and reise ye a signe to puplis.
Passate, passate per le porte; acconciate il cammino del popolo; rilevate, rilevate la strada, toglietene le pietre, alzate la bandiera a' popoli.
11 Lo! the Lord made herd in the laste partis of the erthe. Seie ye to the douytir of Sion, Lo! thi sauyour cometh; lo! his meede is with hym, and his werk is bifore hym.
Ecco, il Signore ha bandito [questo] infino alle estremità della terra. Dite alla figliuola di Sion: Ecco, [colui ch'è] la tua salute viene; ecco, la sua mercede [è] con lui, e la sua opera [è] davanti a lui.
12 And thei schulen clepe hem the hooli puple, ayenbouyt of the Lord. Forsothe thou schalt be clepid a citee souyt, and not forsakun.
E quelli saranno chiamati: Popol santo, Riscattati del Signore; e tu sarai chiamata: Ricercata, città non abbandonata.
