Isaiah 62
1 For Sion Y schal not be stille, and for Jerusalem Y schal not reste, til the iust man therof go out as schynyng, and the sauyour therof be teendid as a laumpe.
Pour l'amour de Sion je ne me tiendrai point tranquille, et pour l'amour de Jérusalem je ne serai point en repos que sa justice ne sorte dehors comme une splendeur, et que sa délivrance ne soit allumée comme une lampe.
2 And hethene men schulen se thi iust man, and alle kyngis schulen se thi noble man; and a newe name, which the mouth of the Lord nemyde, schal be clepid to thee.
Alors les nations verront ta justice, et tous les Rois, ta gloire; et on t'appellera d'un nouveau nom, que la bouche de l'Eternel aura expressément déclaré.
3 And thou schalt be a coroun of glorie in the hond of the Lord, and a diademe of the rewme in the hond of thi God.
Tu seras une couronne d'ornement en la main de l'Eternel, et une tiare royale dans la main de ton Dieu.
4 Thou schalt no more be clepid forsakun, and thi lond schal no more be clepid desolat; but thou schalt be clepid My wille in that, and thi lond schal be enhabitid; for it plesid the Lord in thee, and thi lond schal be enhabited.
On ne te nommera plus, la délaissée, et on ne nommera plus ta terre, la désolation; mais on t'appellera, mon bon plaisir en elle; et ta terre, la mariée, car l'Eternel prendra son bon plaisir en toi, et ta terre aura un mari.
5 For a yong man schal dwelle with a virgyn, and thi sones schulen dwelle in thee; and the spouse schal haue ioie on the spousesse, and thi God schal haue ioie on thee.
Car [comme] le jeune homme se marie à la vierge, [et comme] tes enfants se marient chez toi, ainsi ton Dieu se réjouira de toi, de la joie qu'un époux a de son épouse.
6 Jerusalem, Y haue ordeyned keperis on thi wallis, al dai and al niyt with outen ende thei schulen not be stille. Ye that thenken on the Lord, be not stille,
Jérusalem, j'ai ordonné des gardes sur tes murailles tout le jour et toute la nuit continuellement, ils ne se tairont point. Vous qui faites mention de l'Eternel ne gardez point le silence.
7 and yyue ye not silence to him, til he stablische, and til he sette Jerusalem `preisyng in erthe.
Et ne discontinuez point de l'invoquer jusques à ce qu'il rétablisse et remette Jérusalem en un état renommé sur la terre.
8 The Lord swoor in his riyt hond and in the arm of his strengthe, Y schal no more yyue thi wheete mete to thin enemyes, and alien sones schulen not drynke thi wyn, in which thou hast trauelid.
L'Eternel a juré par sa dextre, et par le bras de sa force; si je donne plus ton froment pour nourriture à tes ennemis, et si les étrangers boivent plus ton vin [excellent] pour lequel tu as travaillé.
9 For thei that schulen gadere it togidere, schulen ete it, and schulen herie the Lord; and thei that beren it togidere, schulen drynke in myn hooli hallis.
Car ceux qui auront amassé le froment, le mangeront, et ils loueront l'Eternel; et ceux qui auront recueilli [le vin], le boiront dans les parvis de ma sainteté.
10 Passe ye, passe ye bi the yatis; make ye redi weie to the puple, make ye a playn path; and chese ye stoonys, and reise ye a signe to puplis.
Passez, passez par les portes, [disant]; Préparez le chemin du peuple, relevez, relevez le sentier, et ôtez-en les pierres, et élevez l'enseigne vers les peuples.
11 Lo! the Lord made herd in the laste partis of the erthe. Seie ye to the douytir of Sion, Lo! thi sauyour cometh; lo! his meede is with hym, and his werk is bifore hym.
Voici, l'Eternel a fait entendre [ceci] jusques au bout de la terre; Dites à la fille de Sion; voici, ton Sauveur vient; voici, son salaire est par-devers lui, et sa récompense [marche] devant lui.
12 And thei schulen clepe hem the hooli puple, ayenbouyt of the Lord. Forsothe thou schalt be clepid a citee souyt, and not forsakun.
Et on les appellera, le peuple saint, les rachetés de l'Eternel, et on t'appellera, la recherchée, la ville non abandonnée.
