Isaiah 53
1 Who bileuyde to oure heryng? and to whom is the arm of the Lord schewide?
আমাদের দেওয়া সংবাদ কে বিশ্বাস করেছে? সদাপ্রভুর শক্তি কার কাছেই বা প্রকাশিত হয়েছে?
2 And he schal stie as a yerde bifore hym, and as a roote fro thirsti lond. And nether schap nether fairnesse was to hym; and we sien hym, and no biholdyng was;
তিনি তাঁর সামনে কোমল চারার মতো, শুকনো মাটিতে উৎপন্ন মূলের মতো বেড়ে উঠলেন। আমাদের আকৃষ্ট করার মতো তাঁর কোনো সৌন্দর্য বা রূপ ছিল না, আমরা কামনা করতে পারি, তাঁর চেহারায় এমন কিছুই ছিল না।
3 and we desiriden hym, dispisid, and the laste of men, a man of sorewis, and knowynge sikenesse. And his cheer was as hid and dispisid; wherfor and we arettiden not hym.
তিনি অবজ্ঞাত, মানুষদের কাছে অগ্রাহ্য হলেন, তিনি দুঃখভোগকারী মানুষ ও কষ্টভোগকারীরূপে পরিচিত হলেন। মানুষ যা দেখে তাদের মুখ লুকায়, তার ন্যায় তিনি অবজ্ঞাত হলেন, আর আমরা তাঁর মর্যাদা তাঁকে দিইনি।
4 Verili he suffride oure sikenessis, and he bar oure sorewis; and we arettiden hym as a mesel, and smytun of God, and maad low.
সত্যিই তিনি আমাদের দুর্বলতা সকল তুলে নিয়েছেন এবং আমাদের সকল দুঃখ বহন করেছেন, তবুও, আমরা মনে করলাম, ঈশ্বর তাঁকে শাস্তি দিয়েছেন, তিনি আহত ও নিপীড়িত হয়েছেন।
5 Forsothe he was woundid for oure wickidnessis, he was defoulid for oure greet trespassis; the lernyng of oure pees was on hym, and we ben maad hool bi his wannesse.
কিন্তু তিনি আমাদের অপরাধের জন্য বিদ্ধ, আমাদের অধর্ম সকলের জন্য চূর্ণ হয়েছেন; আমাদের শান্তিলাভের জন্য তাঁকে শাস্তি ভোগ করতে হল, আর তাঁর ক্ষতসকলের দ্বারা আমরা আরোগ্য লাভ করলাম।
6 Alle we erriden as scheep, ech man bowide in to his owne weie, and the Lord puttide in hym the wickidnesse of vs alle.
আমরা সবাই মেষদের মতো বিপথগামী হয়েছিলাম, প্রত্যেকেই নিজের নিজের পথে চলে গিয়েছিলাম; আর সদাপ্রভু আমাদের সকলের অপরাধ তাঁর উপরে অর্পণ করেছেন।
7 He was offrid, for he wolde, and he openyde not his mouth; as a scheep he schal be led to sleyng, and he schal be doumb as a lomb bifore hym that clippith it, and he schal not opene his mouth.
তিনি অত্যাচারিত হয়ে কষ্টভোগ স্বীকার করলেন, তবুও, তিনি তাঁর মুখ খোলেননি; যেমন ঘাতকের কাছে নিয়ে যাওয়া মেষশাবককে, ও লোমচ্ছেদকদের কাছে নিয়ে যাওয়া মেষ নীরব থাকে, তেমনই তিনি তাঁর মুখ খোলেননি।
8 He is takun awey fro angwisch and fro doom; who schal telle out the generacioun of hym? For he was kit doun fro the lond of lyueris. Y smoot hym for the greet trespas of my puple.
অত্যাচার ও অন্যায় বিচার করে তাঁকে দূর করা হল। তাঁর বংশধরদের মধ্যে কে এরকম বিবেচনা করল, যে তিনি জীবিতদের দেশ থেকে উচ্ছিন্ন হলেন; কারণ আমার জাতির অধর্ম প্রযুক্তই তিনি যন্ত্রণাপ্রাপ্ত হয়েছিলেন।
9 And he schal yyue vnfeithful men for biriyng, and riche men for his deth; for he dide not wickidnesse, nether gile was in his mouth;
তাঁকে দুষ্টজনেদের সঙ্গে সমাধি দেওয়া হল, মৃত্যুতে তিনি ধনী ব্যক্তির সঙ্গী হলেন, যদিও তিনি কোনও অপকর্ম করেননি, তাঁর মুখে ছলনার কথাও পাওয়া যায়নি।
10 and the Lord wolde defoule hym in sikenesse. If he puttith his lijf for synne, he schal se seed long durynge, and the wille of the Lord schal be dressid in his hond.
তবুও, তাঁকে চূর্ণ করা সদাপ্রভুরই ইচ্ছা ছিল, তিনি তাঁকে যন্ত্রণাগ্রস্ত হতে দিলেন, আর যদিও তাঁর প্রাণ দোষার্থক-নৈবেদ্যরূপে উৎসর্গীকৃত হল, তিনি তাঁর বংশ দেখবেন এবং দীর্ঘায়ু হবেন, আর তাঁরই হাতে সদাপ্রভুর ইচ্ছা সফলকাম হবে।
11 For that that his soule trauelide, he schal se, and schal be fillid. Thilke my iust seruaunt schal iustifie many men in his kunnyng, and he schal bere the wickidnessis of hem.
তাঁর প্রাণের কষ্টভোগের পরিণামে, তিনি জীবনের জ্যোতি দেখবেন ও পরিতৃপ্ত হবেন; আমার ধার্মিক দাস তাঁর সম্পর্কিত জ্ঞানের দ্বারা অনেককে নির্দোষ গণ্য করবেন, কারণ তিনিই তাদের অপরাধসকল বহন করেছেন।
12 Therfor Y schal yelde, ethir dele, to hym ful many men, and he schal departe the spuilis of the stronge feendis; for that that he yaf his lijf in to deth, and was arettid with felenouse men; and he dide a wei the synne of many men, and he preiede for trespassouris.
সেই কারণে আমি মহৎ ব্যক্তিদের মধ্যে তাঁকে একটি অংশ দেব, তিনি শক্তিশালী লোকেদের সঙ্গে লুট বিভাগ করবেন, কারণ তিনি মৃত্যুর জন্য নিজের প্রাণ ঢেলে দিয়েছেন, এবং অধর্মীদের সঙ্গে গণিত হয়েছেন। কারণ তিনি অনেকের পাপ বহন করেছেন এবং অধর্মীদের জন্য অনুরোধ করে চলেছেন।
