Isaiah 43
1 And now the Lord God, makynge of nouyt thee, Jacob, and formynge thee, Israel, seith these thingis, Nyle thou drede, for Y ayenbouyte thee, and Y clepide thee bi thi name; thou art my seruaunt.
Nou menm, moun fanmi Jakòb yo, men sa Seyè a ap di nou koulye a, li menm ki te kreye nou an. Nou menm moun Izrayèl yo, men sa l'ap di nou, li menm ki te fè nou ak men l': -Nou pa bezwen pè anyen! M'ap toujou pwoteje nou. Se mwen menm ki te ban nou non nou pote a. Se pou mwen nou ye.
2 Whanne thou schalt go bi watris, Y schal be with thee, and floodis schulen not hile thee; whanne thou schalt go in fier, thou schalt not be brent, and flawme schal not brenne in thee.
Lè n'ap pase sou lanmè, m'ap kanpe la avèk nou. Lè n'ap janbe gwo dlo, dlo a p'ap bwote nou ale. Lè n'ap mache nan mitan dife, dife p'ap boule nou. Flanm dife a p'ap fè nou anyen.
3 For Y am thi Lord God, the hooli of Israel, thi sauyour. I yaf thi merci Egipt; Ethiopie and Saba for thee.
Paske mwen menm, mwen se Seyè a, Bondye nou an. Se Bondye pèp Izrayèl la ki yon Bondye apa. Se mwen menm k'ap delivre nou! Pou m' te ka delivre nou mwen te bay peyi Lejip, peyi Letiopi ansanm ak peyi Seba a nan plas nou.
4 Sithen thou art maad onourable, and gloriouse in myn iyen; Y louyde thee, and Y schal yyue men for thee, and puplis for thi soule.
M'ap bay tout moun lòt nasyon yo pou m' ka sove lavi nou, paske mwen konsidere nou anpil. Nou gen anpil valè pou mwen, mwen renmen nou anpil.
5 Nyle thou drede, for Y am with thee; Y schal brynge thi seed fro the eest, and Y schal gadere thee togidere fro the west.
Nou pa bezwen pè anyen. Mwen la avèk nou. M'ap fè tout moun nou yo tounen lakay yo. M'ap sanble nou soti nan peyi sou bò solèy leve ak nan peyi sou bò solèy kouche.
6 Y schal seie to the north, Yyue thou, and to the south, Nyle thou forbede; brynge thou my sones fro afer, and my douytris fro the laste partis of erthe.
M'ap di moun ki rete sou bò nan nò yo: Kite yo ale! M'ap di moun ki rete sou bò nan sid yo: Kite yo tounen! Kite pitit gason m' yo tounen soti byen lwen. Kite pitit fi m' yo tounen soti toupatou sou latè.
7 And ech that clepith my name to help, in to my glorie Y made hym of nouyt; Y fourmyde hym, and made hym.
Se pèp mwen yo ye. Se mwen menm ki kreye yo pou yo ka sèvi yon lwanj pou mwen. Se mwen menm menm ki te fè yo. Se nan men mwen yo soti.
8 Lede thou forth the blynde puple, and hauynge iyen; the deef puple, and eeris ben to it.
Seyè a di ankò: -Fè pèp la konparèt devan m'. Se yon bann moun ki gen je men ki pa wè. Yo gen zòrèy men yo pa tande.
9 Alle hethene men ben gaderid togidere, and lynagis be gaderid togidere. Who among you, who schal telle this, and schal make you to here tho thingis, that ben the firste? yyue thei witnessis of hem, and be thei iustified, and here thei, and seie.
Rele tout nasyon yo, fè yo tout reyini ansanm. Fè yo sanble nan tribinal la. Kilès nan bondye moun sa yo ki te di davans sa ki gen pou rive a? Kilès ki te fè nou konnen bagay k'ap rive koulye a? Fè bondye sa yo vini ak temwen ki pou kanpe pale pou yo. Lè y'a tande yo, y'a ba yo rezon!
10 Verili ye ben my witnessis, seith the Lord, and my seruaunt, whom Y chees; that ye wite, and bileue to me, and vndurstonde, for Y mysilf am; bifore me is no God formere, and after me schal noon be.
Men pawòl Seyè a di: -Se nou menm menm ki pou sèvi m' temwen. Se nou menm mwen te chwazi pou sèvi m', pou nou konnen m', pou nou kapab mete konfyans nou nan mwen, pou nou ka konprann se mwen menm sèl ki Bondye tout bon an. Anvan mwen, pa t' gen lòt bondye. Apre mwen, p'ap gen lòt bondye.
11 Y am, Y am the Lord, and with out me is no sauyour.
Se mwen menm sèl ki Granmèt la, Seyè a. Pa gen lòt ki ka delivre nou pase mwen menm!
12 I telde, and sauyde; Y made heryng, and noon alien God was among you. Ye ben my witnessis, seith the Lord;
Se mwen menm ki te di nou davans sa ki gen pou rive. Se mwen menm ki delivre nou. Pa gen ankenn lòt bondye lòt nasyon yo ki janm fè sa pou nou. Nou menm, se temwen mwen nou ye. Se mwen ki Bondye. Se Seyè a menm ki di sa.
13 and Y am God fro the bigynnyng, Y my silf am, and noon is that delyuerith fro myn hoond; Y schal worche, and who schal distrie it?
M' pa janm chanje. Pesonn pa ka chape anba men mwen. Ki moun ki ka defèt sa mwen fè?
14 The Lord, youre ayenbiere, the hooli of Israel, seith these thingis, For you Y sente out in to Babiloyne, and Y drow doun alle barris, and Caldeis hauynge glorie in her schippis.
Men sa Seyè k'ap delivre nou an di: Men sa Bondye pèp Izrayèl la ki yon Bondye apa a di: -Pou m' ka sove nou, m'ap voye yon lame mache sou lavil Babilòn. M'ap fè yo tout kouri met deyò. Wi, moun Kalde yo pral desann soti sou batiman ki te tout lògèy yo a.
15 Y am the Lord, youre hooli, youre king, makynge Israel of nouyt.
Se mwen menm Seyè a, Bondye pa nou an, ki yon Bondye apa. Se mwen menm ki te kreye pèp Izrayèl la. Se mwen menm ki wa nou!
16 The Lord seith these thingis, that yaf weie in the see, and a path in rennynge watris;
Nan tan lontan, se li menm, Seyè a, ki te louvri yon chemen nan mitan lanmè a pou nou. Li te fè yon wout nan mitan gwo dlo ki te fin debòde yo.
17 which ledde out a carte, and hors, a cumpany, and strong man; thei slepten togidere, nether thei schulen rise ayen; thei ben al tobrokun as flex, and ben quenchid.
Li te fè moun yo sanble yon gwo lame ak anpil zam, anpil cha lagè ak tout chwal yo. Li fè yo tonbe atè, yo pa janm ka leve ankò. Yo mouri tankou yon bouji lè ou soufle sou li.
18 Thenke ye not on the formere thingis, and biholde ye not olde thingis.
Men sa Seyè a di: Pa chita ap chonje tan lontan. Pa rete ap kalkile sa ki fin pase!
19 Lo! Y make newe thingis, and now tho schulen bigynne to be maad; sotheli ye schulen know tho. Y schal sette weie in desert, and floodis in a lond without weie.
Men m'ap fè yon lòt bagay pou nou. Li konmanse rive deja. Nou pa wè li? Mwen pral fè yon wout nan mitan dezè a. Mwen pral fè gwo dlo koule nan savann lan.
20 And a beeste of the feelde schal glorifie me, dragouns and ostrigis schulen glorifie me; for Y yaf watris in desert, and floodis in the lond without weie, that Y schulde yyue drynk to my puple, to my chosun puple.
Bèt nan bwa pral fè lwanj mwen. Chen mawon ak otrich pral fè fèt pou mwen. Paske m'ap mete dlo nan dezè a. M'ap fè gwo dlo koule nan savann lan pou pèp mwen chwazi pou rele m' pa m' lan ka jwenn dlo pou yo bwè.
21 Y fourmyde this puple to me, it schal telle my preysyng.
Pèp mwen te fè pou mwen an va chante, l'a fè lwanj mwen.
22 Jacob, thou clepidist not me to help; and thou, Israel, trauelidist not for me.
Seyè a di: -Men se pa mwen menm nou te sèvi, nou menm fanmi Jakòb yo! Nou menm pèp Izrayèl la, nou te bouke avè m'.
23 Thou offridist not to me the ram of thi brent sacrifice, and thou glorifiedist not me with thi slayn sacrifices. Y made not thee to serue in offryng, nethir Y yaf to thee trauel in encense.
Nou pa t' ofri mouton nou yo pou yo te boule pou mwen. Se pa t' pou fè lwanj mwen nou te touye bèt nou yo. Mwen pa t' fòse nou fè ofrann grenn jaden nou yo pou mwen. Mwen pa t' fatige nou pou lansan nou pa boule pou mwen.
24 Thou bouytist not to me swete smellynge spicerie for siluer, and thou fillidist not me with fatnesse of thi slayn sacrifices; netheles thou madist me to serue in thi synnes, thou yauest trauel to me in thi wickidnessis.
Nou pa t' depanse lajan nou achte lansan pou mwen. Ni nou pa t' ofri m' grès bèt nou touye yo pou sa te fè m' plezi. Men, se nou menm ki kraze m' ak peche nou yo. Se nou menm ki fatige m' ak mechanste n'ap fè yo.
25 Y am, Y my silf am, that do awei thi wickidnessis for me, and Y schal not haue mynde on thy synnes.
Se mwen menm ankò k'ap efase tou sa nou fè ki mal. Se paske se mwen kifè m'ap fè l'. Mwen p'ap kenbe nou nan kè poutèt peche nou yo.
26 Brynge me ayen in to mynde, and be we demyd togidere; telle thou, if thou hast ony thing, that thou be iustified.
Ede m' chonje sa ki te pase. Ann konparèt ansanm nan tribinal la. Ou pral pale pou defann tèt ou, pou fè wè se ou ki gen rezon.
27 Thi firste fadir synnede, and thin interpretours trespassiden ayens me.
Premye zansèt nou an te fè sa li pa t' dwe fè. Mesaje nou yo te vire do ban mwen.
28 And Y made foul hooli princes, and Y yaf Jacob to deth, and Israel in to blasfemye.
Se poutèt sa mwen avili moun ki reskonsab kay yo mete apa pou mwen an. Se poutèt sa mwen lage fanmi Jakòb la pou yo detwi yo nèt. Mwen kite yo pase moun pèp Izrayèl yo nan betiz.
